Back in his more professional looking lab in the bowels of the ASTA building, Axel was working on a special little project for the boss. If he wanted he could easily take this lot back to his own little den, the garage he usually worked out of when doing his own personal work, but given he couldn't keep lugging robotic frames back and forth through the city it was probably best he try and settle into the habbit of working out of the company lab, at least for a while. When Sonya and him had come up with the idea of working on robots under the ASTA brand he'd initially been hesitant but... hey. He existed. Ultimately he was effectively some sort of pseudo science code in a TV screen's wiring. If he could work on analyzing how he worked, basic AI shouldn't be far from that...
But, ideas of basing AI on himself aside, right now he was working on a more basic fundamental of the robots. They had a small plan to try and sell the initial models to UA as a form of training dummy. It was an easier sell than making the public trust robots afterall. If UA bots got murdery that was part of their job in testing the UA kids, and above that, UA kids were hardly and what would be fatal to a normal civilian would be a scratch to one of those guys, even in their first year. Thing was though, even if they did manage to get a contract to sell UA robots, ASTA, or perhaps more accurately, Ishtar... needed a little more use out of them than simple money. He was just working with a special Asta model phone and a core part of the robots interior design he was planning to impliment, hoping to try and develop a system to have their camera recordings pushed directly into the Asta Network for them to work off of... I mean, why not try and get as much data on the future heroes as they could?
Yeah... why not?
The music was blaring a little heavily, as it usually did when Axel worked. He didn't exactly have the head for headphones so he just played it out of a heavy duty speaker from his computer systems, idle sparks flying from his soldering iron as he linked the circuits up together. Luckily too he didn't exactly need a safety mask for this kind of work.

Ishtar descended on the elevator, stepping out onto the floor two levels above the main research laboratories. The floor beneath was a secondary testing facility and offices for the engineers of the department. This floor, though, belonged solely to the head of the Engineering department. Axel was an eccentric sort, but he was also an invaluable partner and the first villainous ally that Ishtar had acquired. A dangerous man in more ways than one, he had proven himself to be one of the most talented engineers in the world. There was no doubt in her mind that he would be the one to accomplish the goals she had in mind. Especially this latest one, one he had been eager to pursue since he joined the company.
The Department Head's floor was a wide open space that could be affixed with segmented walls designed to adjust the shape and structure of the overall space however he saw fit. For the most part he kept his space professional and even clean compared to his usual workspace. The music, honestly, was a breath of fresh air from the constant classical music that her secretaries insisted play on her floor in order to give a stronger impression. Ishtar reached into her pocket and pulled out a chocolate bar, unwrapping it and taking a bite before glancing around and looking for Axel. It wasn't hard to find him, just follow the sparks. She chewed slowly as she arrived at his side, the blaring music beginning to echo around her. She leaned in and peered at what he was working on before taking a step back and pretending she'd just arrived. Her eyes immediately adapted to the intense light, shutting out most of it to not endure any damage.
"Good afternoon, dearie~" She crooned loud enough for him to hear, she chewed a little more before clearing her throat; "Is that what I think it is?" She asked, pointing at the item he was working on. He had been working on this project for some time. A mixture of his technical genius and her raw cunning. Disseminating information on a network already designed to transmit information meant they were hiding a tree in a forest. It was almost impossible to figure which packet of data would be sending out sensitive information to the ASTA headquarters. That's all that mattered. Her lip curled but she took another look at Axel. He'd seemed... off since the Fuchu Breakout. Maybe she should ask him about it? | TAG WORDS NOTES

"Mm?" Axel hadn't noticed his boss leering over his shoulder, but it wasn't like he was unused to people dropping by on his work... okay he was a bit, given he usually worked out of his garage and this was kinda his private lab, but he knew to at least expect it when working out of the Asta building. Before she spoke further he raised his arm, a holographic image of a slider bar showing up and sweeping it to the other side, the music lowering to a quiet hum in the background. Or as close to that as a heavy guitar beat could be.
"Yeah er... I've just been working on the network piggyback you suggested. I think I've got the link sorted out but I just need to start testing how it works with a live feed." He lifted the small metal box that he'd been tinkering with and the Asta brand mobile he had in hand. Pressing a button on the box, the Asta chat app on his mobile briefly activated before closing itself again right away. After that a simple message of 'hello world' appeared on one of his monitors, a basic text phrase when working with computer code. "I can't quite figure out how to stop it activating the app on the nearest phone... maybe if I get it to work on the background notifications but then it might limit us from sending visual data..."
He shook his head, clearing the thoughts from his cubic head for the moment and placing the tech to one side, turning his spinny chair to face his boss and folding his arms, leaning it back as he brought one of his legs up too. "Anyway, I somehow doubt you came down just for a chat... sup boss? Got a grand new idea on the brain?" Despite the close to sarcastic choice of words, he was speaking genuinely. Axel did kind of admire how creative her ideas could be. Sometimes the fact she didn't personally work with tech made her the best person for starting off this ideas. She wasn't aware of the limitations, but she had enough of an understanding to make up something... difficult, yet attainable. All the same though to have her come down here without wanting some work done on her eyes, or without a new idea to give him to work on and see if he could make reality... yeah. He wasn't expecting just a catch up.

Ishtar crossed her arms behind her tiny back and waited patiently as he adjusted his volume. She wondered for a moment what he liked to listen to, did he like albums? She was sure that he could acquire whatever music he liked in a digital format but was there any physical media he might like as a gift? She shook the thought away, amused, and waited for him to speak. She nodded once when he gave the obvious answer to her question. He was working on the fun part of their little project. Her eyes twinkled when he lifted the small metal box and set to work doing a quick demonstration. She tilted her head and frowned, considering his thought process. "Well why don't you have it piggyback on the diagnostic auto-feedback reports, most people rarely read and keep selecting yes while rushing through a phone's set up. So most users probably have them active, something to consider..." She pointed out, sitting down across from him as he turned away.
She began to unbutton her shirt as he shook his head and set his equipment to the side. By the time he had turned around she had almost entirely removed her top. Before he had a chance to react she was in nothing but her bra and... something that ran across the surface of her skin up her arms from her wrists, up to her shoulders, across her back, down her spine, and stopping at her tailbone. She glanced at the silver ribbon; "Actually, my initial intention was to just chat with you," She said, not even reacting to him looking at her as she crossed her legs and stretched her arms a little. "I thought I'd give you a little show instead~," She laughed; "I'm kidding! Actually I wanted your professional eyes to look at something, we can talk a little while you examine it..." She tilted her head left and right.
"I'll admit... I've never let someone inspect it before," She said, scratching her nose and looking away. "So I am a bit nervous," She said. He was good enough that after taking a close enough look he would know exactly what it was. Her tiny body had very little in the way of physical strength. These ribbons were some kind of back-up muscles. As long as they were on her body she had the strength of an average human male (G) nothing much compared to the terrifying superhuman beings out there, but seeing a girl her size casually lift what a full grown man could was a special treat. That said... he'd also notice the design while revolutionary in its own way was woefully out of date in terms of technique, materials, and application.
She would smile at him a little; "If you wouldn't mind, of course. We can talk while you do if you don't mind. I still wanted to check on you..." she admitted, placing her hands on her knees and leaning forward just a little bit to expose her back. | TAG WORDS NOTES

Axel didin’t have a face to express his surprise with but Sonya definitely came out with a rather elegant solution. Axel could sometimes have an issue with trying to attack an issue directly through his methods of mechanics and coding but Sonya’s creative solutions definitely gave him something to work with. “Well not every phone allows us to take diagnostic reports buuuut I can just create a few lines of code to detect those phones and bypass them to the next system along and so on and son on until it finds the right one…” He turned back to his computer, pulling a keyboard across and starting to type away with lightning fast digits, but, flexing out his hands he realized he was being a bit rude jumping right back into that project, a tinny little laugh coming through his speakers as he turned back around to her. “Sorry, best not to get carried away into that right now…”
Of course, the view he’d gotten when he turned about was not one he expected, a confused emote briefly flashing on his screen, a massive question mark as it were as he leaned back into his seat, nearly falling out of it at the shocking view. Sure he was a robot and he didn’t exactly have ‘hormones’ but he was still a man who could appreciate a view, no matter how shockingly it was delivered to him. “R-right…” He mumbled out, rolling his shoulders back as he shifted more comfortably in his chair, scooching it a little closer to Sonya as she requested his help. “Well I’m hardly gonna ‘complain’ about a chat under these circumstances… but just so you know, you’re not so hot that this ‘counts’ for the I owe you one we have arranged…what exactly am I looking at here?” He’d ask, lifting his gaze back up to hers.
Even if she didn’t answer he’d get a sense of the thing after an examination. If he had a brow to quirk he would as he felt a little bit of confusion about how she’d managed to hide the fact she needed such a thing for so long, and also curious who made it for her in the first place… plus, a third question on if they were paid, killed off, or just sworn to medical privacy on the matter for it not be some sort of public matter that a CEO so youthful was also so weak she needed a low level exo-suit to help her function. “It’s a bit outdated but… I’m sure I can work with the existing framework to get you going. Has it been causing you issues lately? Anything you specifically are looking to get resolved?”
He scooted back to his desk, grabbing a few precise tools and working on a small hatch at an accessible point, such as her shoulder, toying with the wiring and regulating points of the device. “How long you had this, if you don’t mind me asking?”

Sonya let out an honest, bright, tittering laugh and threw her hair back at his comment about 'these circumstances'. "My goodness, that's the first time someone's said something like that to me, don't worry. As far as I'm concerned you have two freebies with me and I will hold myself to it, I pride myself quite a bit on being a woman of my word," She said simply, looking down at her slender arms. Her body seemed remarkably... fragile despite everything. On the other hand she showed no sign of embarrassment at showing her body off; allowing him to examine the device on her back, shoulders, and arms carefully.
"It's a support frame. My body is remarkably weaker than most would imagine," She raised one hand and examined her fingers. "Wearing it gives me the strength of the average adult man. I can lift quite a bit while wearing it... though it pales in comparison to the strength of some of these kids these days..." She snorted, glancing up at him. "You're quiet," She muttered, before giving him a coy smile; "Believe it or not the men that made this aren't dead... though I could be wrong. They also made my eyes when I was a little girl..." She said, looking away. "Very outdated... twenty years, they were designed to stretch and adapt to my growing body but that was the best they could do..." She clenched her knuckles; "Same with my eyes. Believe me or not but the 'so called' number one villain has been operating on dated hardware..." She murmured.
She let out a sigh; "Honestly? I want to show you that I trust you... here it is. Do what you like. A tune up would be nice though..." she laughed, and looked down at the ground. She remained silent for a while after that before finally speaking up; "Do you... regret working for me? Do you have doubts? Tell me the truth." She asked, a bit of emotion in her tone. | TAG WORDS NOTES

Axel would wheel back and forth around the room a few times during their conversation, idly grabbing very precise tools from separate points around the room and at one point something that looked like a really high end calculator that briefly scanned over the circuits he was working on to do a general diagnostic scan. “Well, I dunno about giving you an upgrade here and now. I can make sure it’s running as well as it should but for upgrades I’m definitely gonna need to custom order some parts… was this like, an official medical thing or a shady back alley mad scientist we’re looking at here? Cause damn if this was a normal doctor I really need to consider putting myself on your insurance cause old or not, this is some high end crap…”
He continued to idly work at a slither of a panel he’d popped open to make sure things were working right, at some point slipping around to her other shoulder to continue his work, still offering her a glance of ‘eye contact’ to show he was still listening now and then as they petered away at this odd little project. “I dunno. I mean you’re not exactly a beefy amazon or anything, though I guess I’d hardly consider you ‘frail’ either…” He mumbled through his tinny speakers in response to her comments, a brief spark coming from his work, but nothing that would even come close to tickling her skin or burning her, everything was so fine and small that even a spark like that didn’t really escape the confines of what he was working on. “Out of curiosity, is this like… a permanent fixture? Or can it be removed? I hardly wanna leave you vulnerable but a full removal may be necessary for a full upgrade in turn…”
He lifted his head briefly at being called quiet, an emoji with a raised eyebrow flashing on his screen before lowering back to his work.
“So called huh? Is that your way of saying you don’t agree?” He met her gaze again briefly before continuing to mutter as he focused on his work. “I mean… come on. It’s just us, you know I don’t get on that villain chat all that much, but do you reeeeeeally think Thunder’s more deserving of that most wanted place than you? He’s a petty drug pusher with delusions that he’s anything more. He’s an angry toddler looking for attention on the best of days… he’s vile for the sake of being vile. At least you seem to have a grander plan beyond raking in the green…” Maybe he was saying a bit too much but… it was honest. As much as he didn’t agree with some of the extremes either of them went to, put him against Ishtar or Thunder, and he’d be fearing Ishtar a whole lot more…
When it came to the question of if he regretted his work.. his hands did slow a bit, but not so much to give the impression the question stalled him but… he was thinking about it. In terms of the goals he had when he started working for her they’d remained consistant, and he was achieving what he wanted to achieve but…
“… The prison break was extreme. I knew what we were getting into but seeing it… it’s not really what I got into this for… we could have ended a tonne of lives that day and it all came from the press of a button for me. I’m used to dealing with things behind screens but.. I got there and I saw what my work does. It wasn’t exactly pleasant…”
He let out a tinny sigh, keeping his head in his work. “It’s… fine though. I’m here, I’m doing what I want to do. I’m putting my brain to use making great inventions and I’m challenging myself against fellow villains and a corrupt society we live in… I just…”
His hands slowed to a stop, pulling his head back and leaning back in his chair as his arms hunk between his legs.
“…That just was a bit more than I signed up for, and I paniced. But really you… you don’t gotta worry. I just know not to take that helicopter ride next time.” He shrugged idly, leaning back in to get back to work. “Surprised you care really if I’m honest…” He said that with more surprise than malice, genuinely just… stunned that she bothered to ask. He’d been feeling a little ‘stuck’ in the backrooms since they’d started their alliance, but between this and her even bothering to ask him to ride to the scene, he’d been just… well yeah. Surprised that she bothered to make the effort. He kinda assumed he was just the guy in the chair that didn’t need a second look to her.

Sonya smiled a little. "Official," She said without hesitation; "My family was fortunate enough to have connections with a pro-quirker organization in St. Petersburg," She said simply; "They replaced my eyes after I lost them when my quirk manifested and installed this...thing...to support my body," She said, "So something between a mad scientist, as you call it, and a real doctor," She laughed and leaned forward again, her hair falling around her face. He would show his own face now and then to her, making sure she knew he was listening to her. She appreciated the gesture more than he realized. It was odd being exposed in a situation like this. She was comfortable with her body, more so than most women, but there were always lingering feelings.
"You'd be surprised," She said about being frail, she laughed when he asked if it could be removed, it wasn't a derisive or angry laugh, but a bitter almost sad one, "Of course it can. Anything can be removed, but I won't be doing a lot of walking when it's out of me," She said plainly, "I can move without it, I imagine, my body's grown stronger over the years, but... well you never know," She admitted a little shyly. She felt so vulnerable like this. She'd attained the heights of notoriety, an entire nation feared her. Little did they know how weak she was. She snorted a little when he pressed her on who deserved it more between her and Thunder.
She hesitated, and then nodded; "I'd always felt my role wasn't to be in the spotlight. Fuchu was just a way of showing myself off to villain society, make myself a rallying point, I didn't have to do the speech... but in the end I still prefer to hold onto my public persona, to act with impunity in the shadows, to..." She sniffed, who was she kidding, "...okay, I admit it, when the most wanted list came out I was happy," She said and glanced over at him as he worked. They were silent for a while and then she asked him about his regrets. He slowed and she noticed, he really gave it some thought. That heartened her a little, she was smiling when he spoke up, a smile that reached her eyes.
"Sometimes... playing this role is not a pleasant thing," She said, looking down at her fingers, "Two hundred and fourty six," She said quietly, her eyes distant, "I remember each and every one that I know I have killed," She smiled, "Do I regret it? Sometimes I feel guilt, I'm no sociopath as much as I tried to convince myself I was at one point," She tilted her head; "Axel," She said as he continued on, his words finally drifting off as he expressed his surprise that she cared. "Axel," She looked over her shoulders; "Careful..." She warned gently, nodding at an exposed port on her shoulder.
She looked up at him, her mechanical eyes swirling as she felt like she could see the pair of eyes behind the screen. She relaxed and gave him a kind smile, "I won't put you through that again, dear," She said, "You are more precious to me than you realize, you were the very first to side with me, the very first to approach me, you were the very first risk I took as Ishtar..." She reached up despite his work and placed a hand where a cheek would be; "And you're still here, at my side, I won't forget that, ever," She said. "I've neglected you," She said a bit sadly, "For that I am sorry."
She turned away again, returning to the leaned forward pose and let out a breath; "Thank you for doing this." | TAG WORDS NOTES

"Mmm.." Axel just let out a tinny hum as he listened to what she had gone through in her younger years, how parts of her had been replaced by some pro-quirker organization. He briefly glanced down generally over his own body and let out a deep sigh through his tinny speakers once again, idly rolling his neck back along his shoulders in the hopeful aid of helping him loosen up. "Well I bet you can imagine a TV can't build itself a body... I'm not so inclined as to give away where mine came from but suffice to say I definitely didn't make it myself." He shrugged fairly casually as he pulled back from a spark on the frame, careful to cover the other side of it with his hand so it didn't hurt Ishtar herself, though she may feel the frame briefly tense before relaxing.
Always felt it wasn't for her to be in the spotlight his ass. He almost chuckled but managed to hold it back for at least a moment. The idea that her of all people didn't want to be in the spotlight was just... laughable honestly. The big speech, how she acted as a CEO, putting herself in the forefront with her favors as a villain and her sponsorships as a civilian? Yeah, she didn't have any ground to stand on with that lie. "I suppose that's why you asked me to hack all those screens and radio channels... cause you absolutely didn't want to make a speech." An emote on his screen briefly winked before his screen turned off again, finally chuckling. "Why do you appease him, if I might ask? I mean, I know you want villains to get along but... I dunno. Thunder hardly seems your 'type'. I think he'd rather step over you when given the chance than play nice so long as you do."
Axel flinched back as a hand reached out for his 'cheek', not really wanting the intimate touch right now. He appreciated the thought but... it just wasn't for him. "Sorry... not the touchy kind." Is all he'd offer back in turn, his gaze downcast though it was hard to tell given the blank screen that was his face. "I... well going forward things should get better if you notice that. We've got a new project and you're gonna need me there to explain what crap does for a change." He slipped the fine panels on her frame closed and pat her back. "That's as much as I can do without ordering in new parts... should run like new but I'm gonna probably need you to take it off at some point if you want a full upgrade done."

She laughed when he called her out. It was fair in some ways. She really didn't want to have to be in the spotlight if she didn't have to be. But right now she did, she needed the notoriety and the influence that came with being in the spotlight. One day she'd be free of that responsibility and finally be liberated from having to put on such performances. It was already tiring and she was barely two years into her role. She tried to shrug when he asked her about appeasing Thunder Shock, but her arms just kind of twitched. The device was offline for a moment, probably while he was making another tweak. She tilted her head left and right, searching for the right words.
"I admired him," She said after a moment; "He was... my idol for some time. I aspired to overcome him, and so I did," She sniffed and glanced at Axel with a grin, "Besides, he knows very well that he's not my "type" but he doesn't care. He's a sucker for a woman who tells him what to do..." She laughed and shook her head, lowering her neck again so he could get a better view. "He's a friend, until he isn't. When he makes the choice to begin turning on me, things will change. But for now he is someone I can have some small amount of faith in. Right now, I need as much of that as possible. The Heroes believe we can't form relationships, we cant work together, we can't function without stabbing one another in the back," She glanced up at Axel.
"I cherish my allies." Her words were firm, burning with a conviction born out of an almost religious level of fanaticism and belief.
When he pulled away from her hand she lowered it and nodded, but her face turned solem. She looked down at the ground. "Not the touchy kind, that's something I understand very well..." She said but brightened a little when he moved the conversation on. It was hard to deal with not having physical contact with others, she'd been so starved for it as a child; "...Looking forward to it. These drones are just the beginning. The world won't be the same this time next year. I promise," She said, sitting up straight as he put on the finishing touches. She stretched her back and stuck out her chest, raising her arms over her head and letting out a small gasp. "Stiffness is finally gone... been working at half capacity for almost a year now..." She sighed, flexing her fingers and getting to her feet. She did a small hop off the ground and smiled when she landed without stumbling.
"Finally..." She turned to him and smiled with a bright cheer; "Thank you Axel." | TAG WORDS NOTES

Axel wasn’t sure to believe the woman when she said she admired Thunder. To see that… deplorable wretch, as an idle in any sense… honestly sometimes Axel wished he’d been the one to take up the robot’s services, just so he could get into his systems and burn them down from the inside. Drug trade, slave trafficking, sex industry… and constantly pushing the buttons of UA and heroes just because he could. Sure, Sonya wasn’t really any different on that last point where Axel’s morals could at least feel conflicted on Sonya’s methods, with Thunder there was no room for doubt… “I can’t say I can really relate to that first part, but I’m glad you have a realistic view of him… promise me though. As much as you want villains and criminals to be friends, a community… I hope you burn him to the ground if he ever has the micro-sized balls to turn on you.” He was a little… firm in his tone, his disdain for the electric quirker immensely clear.
He sighed through his tinny speaker. “Sorry… that all goes against your ‘cherished allies’ mentality I just… really fucking hate the guy. Least when it comes to someone like Konto I can just pin him down as a psychopath… Thunder on the other hand is a callous fuck just because he chooses to be…”
Wheeling away back to his own desk once the work on her frame was done, Axel, without displaying an emoji on his screen but more from the subtle shifts of his head, seemed to be offering a smile across to the woman he’d just been working on, rubbing at the slender pipe that connected his head to his torso. “Don’t mention it boss… I’ll think more on that ‘favour’ you wanna grant me okay? I just… my head’s mess after the prison riot. I need to… sort out my priorities first I guess.”

Sonya rolled her neck and shoulders, doing a few test hops and stretching her arms over her head one more time. She paid no mind to her state of dress as she looked around for something heavy. The fibers in her fingers tensed a few times as she stretched and relaxed them. She glanced over her shoulder at Axel when he mused about seeing Thunder as an Idol. "Crime is as much a part of reality as nature is. There's no getting rid of it," She said simply, reaching for a heavy (and empty) looking workbench. She tensed her thin arms and lifted it a few inches before letting it down again. She looked at her hands; it wasn't enough. Not with heroes getting stronger too.
She was... surprised to hear Axel's dark reaction to the idea of someone betraying her. She turned to him and held her head high, her eyes glowing with that cruel pink aura; her fingers crackled with the cold radiation that could turn men to ash and rip limbs from bodies. "My goal is to create a Villain Society, one where true freedom can be fostered while we work toward taking the reins of hero society and steering humanity on the right course through the troubled path of quirks," She looked at her fingers; "Friendship is everything to me, though, it is the power that will push us to heights unimaginable. Never underestimate it," She took a breath; "I choose to be the way I am," She said, holding her head high; "He chooses his path. If it comes down to it that we can no longer see eye to eye. I will annihilate the obstacle," She looked somber; "I just hope it doesn't come to that."
She turned away and went to her clothes, reaching for her shirt and slipping her arms through the sleeves; "Keep thinking about the favor, Axel, and don't worry about it, I understand," She rubbed her hands; "It leaves marks, after the fact," She gave an almost self-reprehensive smirk while looking at her fingers again; she glanced up at him; "Do whatever you need to. If you need to talk, I'm here," She said, buttoning her shirt; she paused and then looked at him with the most aggrivatingly playful smile; "...so..." She grinned madly; "Did you enjoy the view?" She laughed, grabbing her tie and shifting on her feet. | TAG WORDS NOTES

“MMm…” Axel gave a mildly defeated hum at Sonya’s words about crime… the worst part was that he didn’t really feel he could find fault in it. Far as he was concerned she was right. Creating a law told people something was wrong and it could deter that act, but nothing could ever fully stop anything. Even with the general scum off the street the CEOs and the bigwigs may have days wanting more than their fair share, to skirt the rules to make sure they got whatever they wanted… he let out a heavy sigh through his tinny speakers, not really enjoying that line of thought in the slightest.
He glanced back to her, noticing that high chin and the energy at her finger tips… he was feeling like he might quickly learn how radiation corroded code if he ever got on her bad side and that was not a series of factoids he was eager to learn at the cost of his own body. He shifted a little bit, pulling away but… subtly so. His chair didn’t move but his post was generally angled away from her without seeming entirely cowardly. “Mmm… I-I can admire that to an extent just… I dunno My morals just aren’t in the right place for this line of work sometimes… I can admire what you do, the work you do to support heroes and… put a positive spin on them but some of the criminals you align yourself with to create this sense of comradery… I mean take that psycho Konto. You really think he wouldn’t try and kill you if you looked at him the wrong way?” It was A curious question. He was a bit of a coward at heart he supposed and he couldn’t tell yet if Sonya was just brave in the pursuit of her ideals or downright stupid…
He let her start to leave all the same… until she drew his attention with the comment of enjoying the view, scoffing in disbelief. He looked back to her with a ‘deadpan’ emote on his screen, leaning on the counter with one arm as the other blatantly lowed to his crotch, a thick metallic clunk as his knuckles banged twice against it, simply saying. “Does nothin’ for me boss. Sorry~” He still couldn’t help but chuckle at the fact she even asked.. "Dear god..."

Sonya put her hand on her hip and smiled at him, shifting on her feet once; "I never asked you to compromize your morals. I value your loyalty," She said, reaching back and tying her hair up with a thin tie, she looked down at the ground as she adjusted the knot and then made an amused face, looking at her fingers; "Niso Konto, mm?" She looked up at Axel with a ... dark look in her eyes. Her smile grew a little cruel. "I wonder what would happen," A pop and crackle of flash frozen air around her fingertip came out a bit more threatening than the whistling and almost cute sound it made. She laughed and double checked her blouse.
She turned to the wall for a moment and finished adjusting before glancing back at him with a burst of laughter at his deadpan reaction to her flirtation; "You never know! Lack of biology or not, some things stick with you, I kept trying to blink normally for at least a year before I gave up," She said, looking at him. "I force it when I talk to people," She said playfully, holding up a finger to her lips as a hint to keep that detail quiet and winked at him. She leaned against the desk and eyed him for a moment, her expression was almost... heated but she quickly passed it away with a loud laugh and waved her hands. "I'm sorry I won't tease you anymore, it's a terrible habit of mine," She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair.
"Just been a while since I've been able to talk to someone, relaxed," She said, playing with her silver hair; "Guess villains aren't like how they play off in the comics," She said thoughtfully, Tilting her head. | TAG WORDS NOTES
