Fimbriate Thoughts (Miku)

"Hmm?" Kado opened her eyes and looked up at the young blonde girl looking at her in concern. She frowned before feeling something damp on her cheek. The red-head rubbed at her face and discovered that she had indeed been crying. Kado gave a self-deprecating snort before then sighing and shaking her head. "Quite alright dear, but thank you for asking." she said with a bow of her head. "Not many these days would." the red-head mused.

Something felt off though. Or at least to Kado it did. She looked around the area, raising an eyebrow as quite a lot of the plants in the area had suddenly become much more vibrant. Some of them which hadn't looked ready to bloom for a while yet were in full swing as well. "Now that's curious..." mused Kado as she inspected some of the plants nearby. "You weren't meant to bloom for at least another week." the red-head said to the plant almost conversationally.

Kado took another look at the young blonde girl, then back to the plants around them before the dots connected for her. "Aah... that explains it." she said in an amused tone of voice, turning her focus back to the young girl. "You're one of those UA Students yes? I think I remember watching that Sports Festival a while ago. The abilities of a certain student regarding the manipulation of plants in particular caught my eye." said Kado, with a conspiratorial wink.

"Not remember you? My dear girl, you sell yourself short." Kado said with an amused smile on her face at the girls modesty. "I may perhaps admit to a little bit of a bias though, since my power is plant based as well and I run a florists." she said with a shrug, almost as if the admission were an afterthought, but gave young Miku a conspiratorial wink to try and reassure her.

When the blonde wanted to double check about the red-heads condition though, she sighed and looked towards the distant sounds of children playing in the park. "Unless you know someone with a time travel Quirk..." Kado mused before shaking her head.

She briefly wondered how much information to indulge the young plant-quirker with. Obviously not the entire backstory, no no, that might cause problems later on down the road.

Especially since she was a UA Student like that overeager Angel girl was, and knowing her luck Miku was probably best friends with the winged girl... "I was... taking an unexpected trip down memory lane. Considering what life used to be." she slowly said, turning her gaze up to the endless blue sky above.

"I'm sure your history lessons in school covered how many people view people like us... Especially when it came to "Normals" having a child who developed powers." she offered as a way of explaining the memories she was revisiting without going into too much detail. "Still do to an extent..." Kado sighed, clenching a fist in the grass before releasing her grip.

Kado smirked as the young lady wanted to know more about her shop, no doubt intrigued because of her own Quirk. "It's called "Eclipsian Florists" my dear. It's over in the Musutafu shopping district, although I am working on expanding." she informed the blonde. The red-head pointed towards a spot outside the park they were in. "Somewhere around there, I'm planning to have a second shop." Kado stated, deciding to not bore the poor girl with all the red tape she's going through to get it done though.

She got a sly smirk on her face as a thought occurred to her. "If you're looking for something to do over the summer break by the way, we do offer employee's a fifty percent discount on purchases." Kado suggested to the young hero in training with a wink. "And if you wanted to practice your Quirk without getting into any trouble... Well, so long as it doesn't break anything or harm the customers I don't mind." she said, widening her net as it were to lure this young lady into potential employment.

Kado looked about at all the vibrant plant life that had been brought about by young Hajimari's Quirk, and she couldn't help wondering something. "I am curious though, and feel free to not answer if its too personal I understand completely," the red-head began, offering Miku an out should she want it, "but with your power, why try and become a Pro-Hero?" she inquired. She then gestured to the plant life around them.

"With your abilities I could well imagine you out in the Amazon for example, restoring the rainforests. Or anywhere in the world really, undoing the damage wrought upon the natural world by disasters. Both the natural and artificial man-made varieties." Kado said, expanding on her question to the young girl. "Apart from the coral in the Great Barrier Reefs... those as it turns out are more animal than floral." she chuckled.

Hook, line and sinker~ Having one of UA's third year students should help bring in some extra foot traffic to the shop, if only for the novelty factor at first. But that combined with this girls Plant-based Quirk should ensure that this summer goes quite well. Maybe even enough to get the Tokyo branch of Eclipsian Florists set up. Kado chuckled at young Miku's questions about gaining employment.

"I mean, if you want we could have the whole "formal interview" at the store, CV and all." the red-head said, slightly teasingly. "Which, for the most part you would probably need to do for most other workplaces." Kado admitted with a shrug. "However, I much prefer a more informal approach. It lets me see a bit of who a person really is when they aren't "prepared" for it." she began to explain.

"For example, your words and actions so far show off that you are a kind and caring young woman, with a strong sense of family and responsibility." Kado pointed out, based on what she'd mentioned about wanting to follow in her father's footsteps. Although she would definitely need to be careful if her father was a vigilante... Mostly in case his Quirk, if he had one, was similar to Miku's own.

Plant control versus her plant-summon... Not the most ideal of match-ups that she could consider at this moment. Kado smiled softly though at Miku's honesty regarding her thoughts for her future. "Now, I feel I should warn you my dear, that I have been known to hire people who may or may not have had a rougher go in life than others, before they came to work for me. Would you be alright with that, given your hero training?" she asked, wondering if Miku was anything similar to her fellow student hero with the wings.

Oh god this girl was just adorable~ A few well earned, in Kado's view at least, compliments and the third year hero student was blushing like a schoolgirl. Which she technically was... The analogy still worked though. The red-haired woman listened to the young blondes words very carefully as she replied to her query regarding her other employees.

So she's not as sanctimonious as her fellow student with the wings then... She at least requires evidence rather than just hearsay. Kado nodded slowly as the girl finished her explanation. "Well, it's good to know that you at least need proof first before taking any kind of action. Makes you a step up from some of the so-called heroes and law enforcement in this world." she said with a reassuring smile and a chuckle.

"Now, this is a part-time job offer of course. I don't want to take up all of your summer break after all." Kado said with a smirk. "And if there are any trips or vacations that you and your family, or your friends have already got planned, we can easily accommodate for that." she said to try and reassure the young student. This had been a sudden out of the blue offer after all, and it wouldn't be fair to either of them to force that kind of choice on Miku.

"It would normally be at one thousand yen an hour, but seeing as you have a Quirk and there is that stupid Quirk Tax going on at the moment," said Kado with a roll of her eyes as she thought of the damned tax, "you would be paid one thousand and two hundred yen per hour to compensate for the tax." she offered.

She gave it a few moments for all of that to sink in and let Miku process it before she continued. "You don't have to decide right now of course. Give it a week, talk to your parents if you want, or even your teachers if that's something you have to do at UA." she said reassuringly to the young hero student.

"And then if you're still interested, stop by my shop and we can go over your potential hours you'd be working, as well as all the paperwork the bureaucrats insist on having." Kado said, offering Miku a business card which had the Eclipsian Florists address in the Musutafu Shopping District as well as a phone number and email address to reach the shop by. On it were also the details about the shops opening and closing hours, which were ten in the morning till eight in the evening.

"Well parents like to think they're in charge and know best..." Kado said, a hint of bitterness in her voice before she returned the smile. "But best not to shatter that illusion for them just yet hmm?" she suggested with a chuckle and a wink to the young female student. She chose not to touch on the subject about villains just yet, given her "side-job" as it were. Best to let the young lady get to know her first, and see if she couldn't get her to come around to her way of thinking over time.

Oh if only she'd managed to collect this one when she was in her first or even second year rather than her third... So much easier to mould them when they're more impressionable. But for now, she'd make do with what she had available. As Miku formerly introduced herself, Kado smiled and nodded, taking the girls hand in her own and giving it a brief shake. "A pleasure to meet you Miss Hajimari of Class 3-B. I am Kado Nisshoku, owner and manager of Eclipsian Florists." she replied with a smile.

A thought crossed her mind regarding the girls surname, but she decided she'd cross that particular bridge when it came time to do so. If what Kado suspected was true, then Miku was threatening to stretch herself thin between her time at school, at her florists, and if she was correct about the last names connection, any time the young girls parents have her spend at the gym in Musutafu.

But it definitely made for something interesting to consider since the girl had said her father was a crime fighter... Something that would definitely be brought up should her parents come along to the interview in a weeks time if Miku accepted the job offer. Assuming of course that Kado was correct in her assumptions. "Well, I hope you do decide to come work for me. And who knows, this summer job could turn into a year long prospect if you want. Hero work allowing the time of course." she mused.
