C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E.
COMPANION INFORMATION
Hero/Vigilante/Villain alias: Charlotte
Player Name: khaozz
Companion Type: Mechanical Construct
Companion Rank: F
Faceclaim/Series: Scuttlest / Mega Man Battle Network
Age: N/A
Gender: Genderless
Appearance: C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. (which stands for Computerized Heroic Artificial Relay Laser Optic Terrain Traversing Entity) is a robot that resembles an insect. It is built from very lightweight metals and plastics for easy portability, weighing in at only 4 kilograms. Standing at 36 centimeters, C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. is rather small in size.
It has a white outer shell with three small spikes (they look sharp, but are actually rather blunt) protruding from the top. Underneath the shell is a gray body. The underside of the robot has a removable panel, allowing access to the robot's inner workings and core, and the backside of the body contains an extendable plug that allows it to recharge. Just like an insect, C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. has six legs protruding from its body that allows movement.
C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. has two orange eyes. Naturally, these are actually cameras that lets it see the world around it. It also has what appears to be two orange gems on the side of its face, as well as a red gem on its forehead. The orange 'gems' are actually sensors that allow C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. to scan its immediate surroundings and environment, allowing it to successfully move around obstacles and avoid threats. They also let the robot perceive sound, acting as ears as well as additional eyes. Meanwhile, the red 'gem' is a wireless transmitter and receiver that allows it to connect to computers and the internet. It also functions as a projector, allowing C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. to create small holograms.
Though it's not very noticeable unless looking very closely, C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. does have built-in speakers, allowing it to 'talk' in a feminine yet still very robotic voice.

ABILITIES
Wall Crawl (Mobility)
Type: Combat
Rank: F
Effect: C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. is one agile robot when moving around. It is able to traverse terrain quite well (it's in the name!), being able to walk where it needs to go, even being able to climb up, stick to, and walk on walls and ceilings. Its spring-loaded legs and tiny rocket boosters lets it jump up quite respectably as well. There's room for improvement, but it's not too shabby overall.
C-Sensors (Enhanced Senses)
Type: Specialist
Rank: F
Effect: C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. is equipped with various sensors and a sharp camera that can pick up small details of close by objects. All of these together means that C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. can perceive things sharper and clearer than the average human eye. Currently, its camera and sensors have an effective range of 5-7 meters.
Tokyo Wide Web (Computer Skills)
Type: Specialist
Rank: F
Effect: C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. is able to store, process, upload, and download information from the internet, functioning quite similarly to a computer. Quite useful for sending information and messages to allies. Of course, C.H.A.R.L.O.T.T.E. has to actually connect with a computer first before it can access data, and it needs to be relatively close by to connect wirelessly. Of course, its computing and programming skills means that the robot could be used as an above average hacker, but its purpose is thankfully not nefarious.
