"Damn it!"
The phone had been flung across her dorm room. It bounced off of the small pillow off her bed and -- thankfully for her -- landed safely on her bed sheets, undamaged. Yet while the phone wasn't any worse for wear, Jasmine herself felt like she was about to blow a fuse. Her knuckles scraped against her forehead as she rubbed her fist against it, the rough heels of her boots tapping violently against the floorboards as she paced back and forth.
"Not even one goddamn day..." she sighed out to herself, gently slapping that very same fist against her forehead. "Stupid, Jasmine... Stupid!" the girl growled at herself, eyes drifting to the bloodied leather gloves from yesterday that she hadn't yet gotten rid of. She clicked her tongue, fucking clown! One click of her tongue later and the gloves were in the same disposable bag as the rest of yesterday's apparel. No evidence. Nada. None. All of it had to be erased. That was the only way any of this was going to work.
The wolf quickly snapped out of the haze her paranoia conjured up as she caught herself drifting. She lifted her head slowly, eyes shut tight. Deep breaths. Her shoulders heaved. One. Two. Three. Her slightly bruised hands would rise to her temples, long and delicate fingers rubbing the skin hiding a thin layer of bone underneath. She sighed softly, trying to collect her thoughts as best she could.
"No, she's right. Red isn't a moron. He'll keep his mouth shut..." beyond that one idiotic DM he sent... she groaned to herself. She needed to get out of there.
Within about half an hour Jasmine had gotten all of her shit together and was on a train headed straight for Tokyo. An hour more and she was already in front of her building. Luckily for the wolf she'd shown up in the chat when she did, Jasmine was pretty sure she would've lost her marbles if she hadn't.
A little nervous but not outright antsy, Jasmine chose to take the stairs up. Her head was focused on one thing and one thing alone; she could be all anxious and shit later. For now the girl needed to see how her favorite teacher at school was doing -- it had been far too long since the two had a proper conversation outside of school grounds. This would offer a good chance to catch up.
That, and... well. Jasmine was still trying to figure out if she wanted to tell Mia what she'd done back in that alley. That's not something you do without getting arrested for aggravated assault and battery, let alone just getting expelled.
A couple more minutes later and Jasmine was already at the front door. Knowing Mia it was probably unlocked. She turned the door handle -- bingo. One foot inside, she stayed near the door to avoid having to take off her shoes. "Ay yo, Mia! You ready yet? Need any help with anything?" She asked aloud. "Hope I didn't walk in on something again like last time. Boy would that be awkward."
