[Many can come and wait in the lobby, though the Doctor will only be seeing one patient at a time] Finally things were starting to look up. Cyril had taken sometime to get his life together and after finally getting that checklist sorted and completed he had taken to adding yet another notch to his belt of accomplishments. Following the Maslow pyramid of motivation, he knew that food and shelter as well as finances were an important base to have solidified before making any major life decisions or plans. By opening this small clinic with what little savings he had, Cyril knew that by operating under the codename "Dr. Stone" he would be able to work alongside his fellow humans in taking care of the fleshy container we call our bodies. The outside of the clinic was shabby looking at best, a pretty beat up looking sign eerily flicked "Stone Clinic" with some letters blinking in and out due to a lack of proper circuitry. There were some windows though they were covered with pamphlets and papers of job postings and security opportunities complete with tear-off numbers and email addresses. The door was propped open to allow some air circulation that when walked through would lead anyone to a waiting room/lobby littered with chairs. Some chairs were in better condition than others though around every group of four chairs would be a small coffee table decorated with a small pile of magazines and a vase of flowers. These flowers were freshly bought and taken care of daily and replaced if they ever started to wilt. Cyril liked flowers you see. The lighting in the lobby was bright and the walls freshly painted white to give an official and proper feel to those who decided to stop in. A dark gray carpet would lead from the door to into the lobby, stop and then continue alongside the receptionist's desk towards a door that lead into the back. The receptionist's desk was a dark brown with clawed finishes along the bottom legs. Covering the table would be folders and papers organized in trays properly labeled and clear bins. Two phones one with a notepad built in the other with a notepad close by, coloured black for style and not to clash with the colour of the desk. An older looking computer would also sit on the desk its keyboard on a pull-out portion allowing maximum efficiency for the clerk on duty. Directly behind the desk would be a wall covered in cubbies that held different acronyms meant for the doctors use. It was clear that the office was new and was still getting into the row of things, but the level of organization spoke to a bright future within the district. Landscape pictures would litter the walls of the lobby of different places around the world, the sand dunes of Egypt, the Queen's bridge in London. Even places like the savanna in Africa and the volcanos close to Hawaii attempted to portray a well travelled and diverse workplace. Beyond the doors that lead to the back would be a hallway of rooms, three on each side each door labelled and numbered with a little bin meant for the patient's file and name to be placed when they entered. The lighting here was just as bright as the lobby going all the way down the hallway to where the emergency exit was. Office supplies was also down this end of the hallway in a small room opposite a larger room with a larger door that said "Doctor Only" across the front. There was no carpet in this part of the office but instead polished slip resistant floor. Glancing at his left hand at his watch, Cyril would smile to himself as at this time he and his practice was officially open.

The animal was wandering around. Exploring some old places it used to frequent. The animal wanted to see if there was something it left and can grab back. Or if it can forage and scavange something for its new home. It started being better at avoiding human beings which it would freak out? Why? Because it is a mutated quirked centipede. Normal centiepede's were scary enough as is. The world didnt need a quirked one that was 20 centimeters tall and had abilities. Speaking of which, that same animal wandered the streets and came across a building. It decided to enter the place, which was coincidentally Stone clinic. If the door was closed, the animal would just use its acid spit to melt a hole in the wall to enter. It wanted to scavage and forage new items for its new home. This place looked new, so it must have new stuff. The animal wandered around the clinic and explored the surroundings. Soon it got hungry and wondered what can it get to eat. Nothing here looked edible though. It sniffed the room and the air, and it just smelled like detergent and fresh paint. It looked at the carpet and everything, the only edible thing was the flowers, but that wasnt tasty

Cyril had just finished getting food from down the street. It was his favorite restaurant since coming to Japan, cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate milkshake. This combination of foods brought so much joy to Cyril's mind, body and spirit that he often completely ignores everything else around him while eating. It was completely unhealthy but definitely something he enjoyed to do...on occasion of course. Leaning back in his chair as he tossed an empty crumpled burger wrapper into what he assumed was the trash can, Cyril would stretch out before patting his stomach.
He considered saving the milkshake until later but he could not resist it. He scooped it up and begun to drink it. The office was mostly empty as he sat at the registration desk eating. The front door would of been wide open the breeze from outside keeping the entire lobby cool enough to not need AC or a fan. Today's research had hit a wall as Cyril could not figure out the specific combination of compounds that he would need to solve this important question. It avoided him to the point of anger to which Cyril went straight to food for comfort.
So here he was drinking his milkshake completely leaned back in his chair annoyed about the lack of knowledge streaming to his mind for the problem, but also bothered by the lack of patients coming in. Was it because he has not advertised enough? Either way he knew something had to be done. Perhaps he should go out and cause accidents, just to have them come in to him to get fixed...

It felt something new. The sniff revealed something with a lovely scent. It was true and real edible food. The animal followed the scent, until it saw the human in question munching it. It snuck through the open door and quietly approached. The man was in his chair now he was drinking a slushy. Or a milkshake. Something of the sort
The animal, decided to crawl up on table and try and rech for some food with its front leg. But since the animal is a bug, a centipede. It lacks any fingers a primate has. And so all the bug did was knock the fries off the table. Making that noise, it scurried away in the corner of a room. Well, no. First it took a fry in its mouth and THEN it scurried over to the corner of the room, hoping to hide somewhere. Maybe a trash can?
It looked around the room, to see a hiding place. Hoping to get out of sight before the human gets up and looks to see the cause of why the food suddenly fell down So what then would the animal do should the human see it? Well, it depends on the reaction. Fight or flight

Lost in thought Cyril would of been brought back to the present by the sound of his food falling. Maybe he had kicked the counter and caused it to shift a bit. There was also the chance that the open door had brought him a breeze rough enough to knock it over. Shaking his head and chuckling he would sit right side up only to see the last bits of what may of been a bug scurrying away. A bug? In his clinic? That would not suffice. He would be on his feet now looking around for where the little bugger had gone off to. With his fries spilled over he assumed the creature had taken some to get its fill. No matter, if it was hungry that was how Cyril was going to catch it.
Taking off his shoes so that he can 'ammo' he would crawl onto the registration desk and spill the rest of his fries all over the floor. With a shoe in each hand he would wait and look for the bug to appear so that he could throw one or both of his shoes at it. He was not a good shot but if it was only one bug he need only hit it once right? In order to squish it or daze it enough to get caught. He also had his now empty milkshake container that he could use as a cup to trap the thing if it got any ideas. This was a place of work and he could not allow insects to be running around as they like.
"Get out here you buggy creature! Look more food than you can imagine right out here!"
Cyril would yell to no one person in particular but the bug specifically. This was bait to lure the bug out of its hiding spot and into range for Cyril to throw one of the shoes he took off his feet at it.

As it took that one fry, it scurried away in the corner of the room. As Cyril inspected the situation and saw his fries on the floor. The bug got an idea. It started crawling. On the wall and then on the ceiling. Right above Cyril who right now was taking off his shoe. The centipede watched Cyril do that.
He called out to the bug and well, the centipede hid above the young man. But it noticed the fries, which made its mouth drool. Unfortunaly for Cyril, its drool is acid. So, he would soon feel something fall on his shoulder. And then he'd hear something sizzling. If he looked at his shoulder, he would see his shirl was ruined as it was... melted. If he looked above he'd see the bug. That is the size of a dog. 20 centimeter tall. Like a pomeranean dog actually. And it looked anything but normal. For a man who is interested in Quirks, now he had the pleasure of seeing a rarer thing. A quirked animal who has stronger abilities then a regular centipede. Like superhuman centipede or supercentipede
Speaking of which, the animal screeched at him and would attack as it feels threatened and would spit acid at Cyril

Scanning the floor quietly Cyril would of used his ability to wait and stay still something gained from his line of work to wait for the bug to appear. But it did not. Several seconds passed before he felt a slight sting and smelt something burning. Turning his head he would of seen the evidence of the after effects of acid on his shoulder. With his head shooting upwards the general direction of what must of hit him, Cyril would be greeted with the screeching of what appeared to be a type of bug...but the size of a small dog. A bead of sweat would slide down the side of his face as he watched the bug's drool drip again only for it to shoot like a projectile at him!
"There there, nice giant bu-"
Was all he was able to get out before rolling off the desk in a hurry to dodge the bugs attack. Rolling to his feet but bumping into a chair while standing back to his feet, Cyril would give up on the thought of putting back on his shoes at the moment as well as the earlier plan to throw his shoes at the creature. This was clearly something way more developed than he thought and would require different planning in order to handle. Putting aside the fact that it was a bug Cyril could not fathom the fact that this thing was something natural. Was it an experiment? Some type of numbered project sent out to get rid of him? Whomever thought they would succeed with just one of these bugs severally underestimated the good doctor and he was ready to prove it.
Running through his knowledge what he knew about bugs there seemed to be the less than average amount of information about bugs or animals for that matter that have been quirked. Perhaps he could take another way to handle this? Keeping his eyes on the bug as he watched the remaining bits of his desk get eaten away by the acidic spit the creature spat at him mere moments ago, Cyril would attempt to tame this creature through its stomach. It did go for his fries after all, maybe it was just hungry?
Lowering his body to that of a crouch as to seem non-threatening Cyril would keep his hands in a state that was visible by the creature. He would also make a mental note not to make any sudden movements or anything type of action that could be perceived as a threat. But it was a bug...what did a human know about what a bug perceived as threatening?
"Sorry there..sir? Ma'am? I did not notice you were so..lively! There there the fries as promised, I won't try to hit or attack you."
He would say making sure he motioned to his two shoes left in a heap a few steps away from him. Maybe the best way to a hostile creature's good side was through its stomach.

The man soon crouched like a duck creature would and kept his hands infront of him, maybe taking a defencive position or maybe surrendering. He spoke, calling someone. Was it calling it? He seems to have offered the fries. But the animal doubted. It looked like a trap. The animal jumped down on the floor, and slowly took a step or two infront of the fries to get a bit closer. But then it suddenly backed away a few steps, fearing and ambush attack
After all, it had one eye after all. If it went to grab the food, the human would be in a blind spot and he would hit it or kick it or capture it. Just the thought of it made the animal shake and quickly back away to a wall, keeping a fair distance from our dear friend Cyril. Touching the wall, made the animal jump and screach a bit. Before looking for a second to realize that it was safe, there was no one behind From the distance it eyed the human and then the fries and then the human. It knew that humans were smart and crafty. Too smart infact. The animal knew that as soon as it trusted the human, it would be bamboozled into a trap. Maybe a cage!

Cyril would watch the creature react. First it seemed to be interested, walking towards the fries left out for it. The words the young doctor spoke did not seem to reach the creatures ears(if it even had ears) as it slowly backed away from the food. It would of backed up entirely too far causing Cyril to gasp out in alarm as it screeched in response to its back touching the wall. Wanting it to feel at least safe to take the food, Cyril would mimic the animals actions and take an equal amount(roughly) of steps backwards as well granting the creature space and time to check the food out again.
From a learning stand point CYril could tell that this creature knew a bit about humans as a whole. He had never seen any messages or notes in the newspaper about a big this size despite it being obviously quirked. Could it be that this was someones pet? Or perhaps an experiment gone wrong? Or....right? No matter why it was here Cyril would try and figure out what he could do with the creature. Doing his own experiments was always an option, however something about it and how he rated it to be akin to a dog, made him wonder if it could be domesticated.

The man backed away and in a way mimicked it. Well, thats odd, but nevertheless good as the animal used that distance to go close and eat the food quickly. Mmmm tasty tasty fries. The animal ate, but would occassionally stop to look up at the strange human. If it tried to sneak up on it. The animal would hiss angrily to make him back away, this food belonged to it. So it tried to hurry to finish the food
Once it was done, it would catiously look at the man again. And then if he was a safe distance away, the animal would scan the room and look around for a possible exit to this place so it may leave. But looking at the man, it worried that the man might not let the animal go. It was a predicament. The animal wondered how could it try to comminicate with the man. It had a VERY limited vocabulary. It had nothing to agree on to say yas or yah. So the only other thing would be "Woof" it tried to bark like a dog to try and make the man let it go. Stupid dogs and stupid humans liking stupid dogs

It would of been strange if Cyril did not take this time to try and approach the animal? as it started to eat. The sudden hissing as it seemed to anticipate his curiosity which made Cyril a bit bashful about the entire thing. Watching its head dart around, Cyril would of been shocked when the animal barked. So now it was a type of dog? Was it first a dog and then changed into what it is now? Or perhaps it was something else entirely then turned into a type of dog? Ohh Cyril wanted to learn more about it. Was it a quirk that made it this way automatically, or rather something that the creature had to mentally choose to do? Oh the questions!
The woof was exceptionally interesting. However Cyril could try to forcefully keep it here, but something told him that, that would not be a good idea. A cornered animal is a dangerous one. Moving towards the front door slightly glimpsing the hole it probably created in order to get inside, Cyril would try and prop the door open so that the creature could get out freely.
"Well there ya go creature, you can head out if your done with your meal."

The animal was indirectly playing red light green light. If the man moved while the animal watched, it would hiss and make the man back away. But if the man froze in place while the animal looked, it'd be fine. But the jist was that the man was caught red handed moving. Thats why the animal hissed. But upon finishing its meal, the animal tried to communicate and thats the only way by copying a dog.
The action notably confused the man. Well, what he did next was he went to the door and well... he tried to at least. But once he did that and said the animal was free to go. It was now the animals turn to be confused. It looked to the exit and then at the man once again. It pondered for a moment confused... It... it was free to go? That easily?
But since the animal couldnt verbally communicate, it tried a different approach. It pointed to itself and then at the exit, with a clearly confused look on its face. As it didnt know what to do and looked for some sort of confirmation from this man. Well at least the guy was sorta nice, even if he had devious intentions. Maybe it would be worth to return to him one day? But now, the animal needed to see if this really was freedom on the horizon or a trap

Cyril at first was worried that the creature would not understand his words. That was why he coupled it with a gesture wide enough to be seen and simple enough he thought to be understood. With the red light/green light farce concluded he would hopefully get the creature to know that it was free to go whenever it was willing...hopefully soon...hopefully now. The woof was still reeling in Cyril's brain and he could not wait to hit the computer to try and search for any types of known mutations in animals. Was it even an animal? Or maybe a type of numbered experiment that escaped and now was trying to live its life by first scavenging for food?
While in his head for thought movement from the creature would of caught his eye. It not only seemed to understand what Cyril had said earlier, but it was also capable of feeling confusion! That look on its face was the only thing Cyril could believe it was feeling as it used its claw to point to itself and then to the exit. As much as he tried to keep a neutral face he could not help but slowly start to grin.
"Yes yes you. Free. Go. No trick."

Ah so it seemed that it was true. The animal truly was free to go. Well once that was confirmed, the animal would suddenly run past the human man and out into the streets and out into its strange freedom that was the concrete jungle. Since it had a meal, its next goal was to find a place to rest and sleep. A dumpster? A trashcan? A bush in the park? Or somewhere in the shade? A cardboard box? Well whatever it had thats where it would go.
The creatures story would continue. Its search would continue as it would go elsewhere and explore the world that was Japan... Tokyo... Kabukicho. It was strangely a place the animal frequented, enough food and enough dumps. Since it was barred from UA, Kabuchiko and Tokyo Park were its mainstay locations. And yes UA, that animal wandered around real far that it even once tried to break into UA. But sadly it couldnt no more. Too many top notch defences. If only it can see its Honey Honey friend. But she was unavailable. Maybe one day they will succeed and see eachother. But today was not that day. Nor will that day come anytime soon. But as the bug continued on its journey, the man called Cyril was in his office, free to tinker as he wished with
