A bright and sunny afternoon made for weather where it was easier to be inside, though Lawrence in genenral preferred inside anyway. Really, it was summer, the heat and humidity was getting a bit too much, plus the sun was a bit bright for his tastes. Still, business was business, and on this bright summer day, he was standing in one of the shops for the company he has yet to officially own, Upside Down Games. The only location in Tokyo they had in Tokyo... Lawrence narrowed his eyes. Business really had been on the decline; they had far more than that last he checked... though the company was at least surviving in the other locations in Japan, this Tokyo one was struggling.
Still, though... it wasn't completely failing. Nothing was in disrepair, and while he had to already order several employees to clean better, there wasn't much left to fix, at least not in the front of the house. Everything was stocked, sorted, and once they finished, clean, too. But, that only made Lawrence more worried; it meant that there was other reasons why this place wasn't doing well. Was it the employees? Was it not enough advertisement? Or was there another factor entirely?
He bit his thumb, staring at one of the shelves in the store. It wasn't completely empty, thankfully; there were a couple families shopping, one seemed to be a mother alone with a child, and the other was a whole family with at least two kids and a baby. Business had fallen, but at least it was a slow decline; a slow decline meant it could go back up, he just had to figure out how. Maybe he could talk to people outside of the store, ask why they shopped here as they headed out....
"Hey," he said, suddenly turning to an employee. "Get me a clipboard and a pen." She blinked, but nodded in response, letting him walk up to the counter to wait for his request.
