The Odd Couple [Antonio]

“Heeheehee, like birds of a feather flock together, is it~?” A tiny hint of crimson colour sprouting in the cheeks of Miss Crawford as Antonio pointed out the magnetism she felt toward him, though she could readily acknowledge that he was indeed every bit the rake and cad and scoundrel that he seemed to profess she also realized that she didn’t dislike that, and quite to the contrary felt like it was a breath of fresh air in her life.
“Well I suppose that’s as good a reason as any~” Unsure exactly of what that meant but enjoying the fact that he seemed so different from the other people that she knew, aside from Kanna she supposed, and the effect he had on her, while she didn’t quite achieve full realization of the crush that she had developed on this dashing and devilish figure she definitely appreciated the effect he had on her, and how she felt that bit more daring and exciting herself by being in his company.

“Oh, that’s… That’s a shame, I was having a lot of fun?” Unfortunately it seeming that her chance to indulge such things was coming to an end all too quickly when the man reached for his phone to help them stay in touch and hopefully arrange more days like this but discovered something upon it which caught his attention, there was no way that Chloe could conceal much of her disappointment at learning their time together would come to an early end, and she even found herself pouting for a second as she accepted the news.
“Heheheheh, I suppose duty comes first though…” Quickly realizing that though and trying to be a bit more positive because of that, though she forced a little chuckle to try and alleviate any guilt that her dashing driver might have had for needing to call time on their innocent little date, Chloe shook her head and sank what was left of her drink as speedily as she could, before using her own phone to take care of the bill and offer a generous tip for their waitresses as well. They’d earned it after all, they really were the image of adorable today!

“Your boss though huh?” Standing up a moment later and scooping up her various accoutrements as she did so, Miss Crawford was almost ready to leave the locale and get her ride back home to where they had started before she paused for a second, and remembered the reason that Antonio had spoken for his haste.
“Heeheehee, maybe I should come with you? I might need to have a word with he or she about how much they’ve been working you lately~?” Unable to supress the urge to giggle because of that and also jokingly offer her services in order to help him find a little more free time which might hopefully be spent with her again sometime soon, the green eyed girl grinned and rapped her fist against her palm a few times as she offered a joking threat to the figure her friend was employed by, and was probably lucky she was in Tokyo right now because of that. After all, not all in Musutafu would take such an idea lightly, now would they?

“Oh well he better not be picking on you, otherwise he’ll have me to answer to!” Smiling and shaking her fist in spite of the severity of Antonio’s comment, Miss Crawford grinned and hoped her humour might lighten the suddenly sombre mood that the news had put her new friend in, and as such saw no reason to be a little clownish in order to lighten the mood.
“You have no idea what a girl like me is capable of when one of my friends is in trouble!” The day finally seeming like it was starting to hit its stride when everything had ended suddenly, the delicate damsel guessed that her dashing driver had shared her disappointment and maybe needed his spirits lifting up, though was not entirely playful in what she said. Everything she had learned about this man telling her that he needed someone to take care of him, to save him from his isolation, she fancied herself for such a job herself and as bullies from her youth knew all too well was ferocious when she was agitated as well.

He’s suddenly so stern and serious though… For the moment however more concerned with the sudden change she saw in the man as that gentle stoicism slipped into something more serious, Chloe felt a hidden hint of anxiety about his bearing and the speed witch which he left, though ultimately tried to be understanding of it.
I suppose I would be too now I think about it? His job must be really important to him to drop everything to go to it… Scooping up some napkins and even managing to secure the use of an implement for writing from one of the magnificent maids around her, the green gaze of the girl flicked between the name and number she was jotting down and the figure who seemed so eager to leave, and hoped that she wouldn’t hold him up too much by trying to provide a way they could stay connected in future.

“Thank you so much! Here, Antonio~!” Remaining blissfully unaware of how the beautiful boy wanted to distance himself from her suddenly as she thanked the waitress sincerely and then trotted after her target, the teen pulled on his sleeve to stall him for a second and then held out the scrap with her phone number as well as a little heart next to name as well, the latter of which conjured a little crimson colour in her cheeks to show off but also seemed ever so cute as well.
“Hehehehe, this way, we can finish the Tokyo tour whenever you have time~? Or maybe try one of those kitty café’s together next time~? If you’re really lucky, I might even grab a costume for it~” Certainly far from done with this fledgling friendship and in her own way eager to see where it might end up taking her, the emerald eyed enchantress smiled toward the man before her and once again felt her heart race a little as she toyed with him in a way that felt new and exciting, honestly loving the idea of doing something special for someone who she still wasn’t entirely aware she nursed a growing crush upon…
