Ever since he had gotten his hands on MARINE thanks to Sonya, his scientists had been hard at work analyzing it and breaking it down. They compared it's likeness to QED, finding the similar elements and what had been done to their original product to advance it to this stage. Thundershock needed to know if MARINE was in fact closer to his goal than the new Q.E.D his scientists were working on... so far though, MARINE just seemed to be a worse disaster than QED. Thunder's drug created instant addicts, creating a high so addictive that those that used it just couldn't get enough... meanwhile MARINE was simply lethal. If not administered the correct way it killed the person taking it. He could only compare MARINE to euthanasia. So then why was it that MARINE was in such high demand? What was it that he was missing?!
Thundershock stood in the laboratory with the scientist working under him. They had invited him for another live test of a mixed drug they had fabricated using both MARINE and QED. The large man kept his arms crossed over his chest as the chief scientist went over to the unconscious female strapped to the surgery table and placed a needle with the drug into her arm. Immediately the woman's eyes shot open, her mouth opening to scream but no words escaped her lips. her breathing became physically labored, her heart rate suddenly skyrocketing as the woman began to shake and tremble.
It wasn't long before her body began to mutate, skin pulling away from bone to create new, hardened appendages. Twisting what was once a beautiful young woman into what could only be called an abomination. It seemed that she had a transformation quirk to begin with, and this new drug had activated that quirk, amplified it and multiplied far beyond the womans capacity to contain the transformations. It ended up in something rather grotesque, to which Thundershock could only sigh and turn his back to her.
"If she lives, take her with the others and learn what you can. I'll be doing a bit of a recruitment drive... It seems you need a bit of a second opinion on this." He stated in annoyance, leaving the lab without another word or glance towards the scientist, or the woman still shifting and transforming under the effects of the drug. It was definitely much more volatile than he had first anticipated.
Thundershock found himself walking into his office soon after, letting himself sit back into his chair with a heavy sigh, bringing one hand to his forehead as he stared at the ceiling.
'At the rate their going, we'll never develop something functional by years end. I feel like MARINE was just a huge waste of time... the hell did the plutocracy even do to QED to get it to react that way? What's their goal..?' He thought to himself, staying in his position for a long moment before sitting up straight. he reached into the locked cabinet of his desk and withdrew a smart phone. He opened up the villain chat and began to read the ridiculous messages sent by his fellows.
"I need fresh minds in the lab to work this out... but as far as I've gathered, none of them are really the sciency type..." He thought aloud, looking through the members list and letting another irritated sigh escape his lips. He could always go to Sonya and bounce ideas off of her... it's what she wanted with this whole 'friendship', right? But then again...
"Thundershock: hm. I've got a job for someone good at heists or, kidnapping rather." He didn't think anyone would truly bite, but within minutes one of the new members of the chat expressed interest in the job offer...
"Thundershock: that's right. I think I have only seen you here in passing though~ what are your skills?" The last thing he did was trust anyone in that chat. They were all villains after all, and he was still number one, meaning more than one villain out there was after that title. No better way to do that then get close and take him out of the picture. He was skeptical, but two simple words managed to bring a slight laugh out of the hardened criminal.
"Thundershock :hah. You know how to sell yourself dont you? I like to meet those I hire before I send them for work though. Meet me in the underground city, Crimson dragon Inn tonight at 6." If she couldn't make it, then he'd simply move on and ask Sonya for her thoughts... but it seemed the woman was eager, agreeing to meet with him prior to taking the job, which truly surprised him.
"Hunh... well that happened. I suppose I should be greeting them then... Ladrona... just what kind of person are they?" he asked himself aloud, putting the phone in his pocket this time before stepping out of his office. He still had some time before their meeting, and so would find himself moving about the mansion, and the city, fulfilling those tasks.
When 5:30 rolled about however, Thundershock made his way towards the familiar inn. Still no words were spoken as he walked into the building, a silent understanding exchanged between himself and the host. The host immediately bowed towards his leader, before guiding Thudnershock towards the booth he normally reserved for himself. It was only a few minutes after that, that the bartender himself arrived with thundershocks favorite drink, earning nothing but a nod from the blonde who glanced curiously towards the door. If she was new to the villain chat, he wondered if she even knew about the underground city at all. He checked his phone to see if she had messaged him, but so far it seemed everything would be well under way.
'It's always interesting to meet these young villains... every one of them opens a new path to accomplish my goals. I wonder what she will bring...'

Meanwhile, elsewhere in Tokyo. In a small rented appartment there was Juana. She was on her laptop looking up information on Villains. With some translation help, she eventually found the site of the National Public Safety Commission and she found Japan's Most Wanted. She wanted to read up on Japanese vilains, so she knows what is she dealing with. She scrolled immeadetely to the Number 1. She wanted to see who was the most wanted and then work her way down to the lesser important ones. The Number 1 was Thundershock. The site said how he is the current head of the Kobayashi Yakuza Clan. She immediatelly thought "Yakuza? Bueno, he tratado con la mafia, la mafia rusa y los cartels. Nunca con Yakuza. Escuché que son salvajes flacos tatuados sin camisa. Será interesante ver cómo son en realidad"She chuckled and then continued to read. It said he caused significant harm to Japan and its people. Crimes like murder and kidnapping. Ringleader of Japans largest narcotic rings and someone who made a Quirk Enhancement Drug. Which caused her to raise an eyebrow. She would need to get a sample of that for research for her european employers who would pay a pretty penny for an exotic version of a certain drug. Continuing to read she found it strange how a leader is doing the grunt work. Did the Yakuza do that? The Mafia had men to do that. Reliable men. The Russian Mafia was slightly different and its leader was... frightening. Just thinking about that man made her shake a bit. She wondered why would a supposed head of Yakuza do something like that
Scrolling down she saw the 2nd most wanted man. This one had his true name revealed. Nick Cross, also known as Abaddon. "Entonces tienes tu nombre después de un demonio?" she thought to herself as she saw the name Continuing to read she realized this was a UA student turned evil. He attacked the Tokyo5 News Station, which was something she would have to further look into. But before she did, she got a notification. There was activity in the Villain chat. And of all people, it was Thundershock. She smirked when she saw what he wrote. Being curious and yet also coy she replied Ladrona: Do you?
Ladrona was her username, it was just spanish for Thief. So the mention of heists piqued her interest. When he asked what are her skills, she used his words Ladrona: Heists and kidnapping~
Well, it seemed the site rang true that he kidnaps people. Shame for him that she doesnt. People are a hassle. Too much of a hassle to do that. She likes stealing items. Still, she wanted to get close to this guy to see what is he like in person. And like a good fish, he bit the bait and told her to come at the Crimson Dragon Inn at 6. She needed to look into that right now since they decided to meet. She dropped the whole villain list she was reading and she looked up the address and the directions on the internet for their meeting place. That way she knows where it is and so she can come there on time. She was still learning the layout of Japan and its confusing signs and language. Truth be told, it was not to her liking.
Eventually when the time came, she arrived to the fabled inn at 5:50. She liked to be punctual, a little bit early. But not too early. She entered the establishment and looked around and scanned the area. Truth be told, she had no idea what Thundershock looked like. She shrugged and went to the bartender for a drink while she waited for Thunder.... who was kind of beside her.

Thunder waited patiently as time ticked by, a small order of dumplings having been brought before him as he did so. He picked at the light dish in front of him, enjoying a moment of peace and quiet. One where his mind wasn't running rampant, where his rage wasn't strangling him. It was a rare moment for him to enjoy now a days, especially with Taichi taking his role a bit more seriously as his heir.
When 5:50 rolled around, thundershock found himself glancing towards the door whenever it was pushed open. What he found caused him to raise an eyebrow, pausing his movement as he had gone to reach for another dumpling. The woman that walked in was unlike any he'd seen down in the underground in... well, ever. The women that came here were either slaves, drug addicts or had a particular air or style about them that screamed they were up to no good. This woman though looked like she'd just walked out of a beauty salon, having just finished her nails.
The big man found himself at a loss for words as he watched her move to take a seat at the bar. She obviously had no idea what to expect being here, or she would have found him right away and come for him... Was this really the woman he was meant to meet? He looked up at the clock, then back towards her with a bit of a sigh.
'She's not at all what I expected of someone capable of a kidnapping...' He had to admit his first impression was disappointment, though he didn't mark her off as useless just yet. There was a lot a woman could do with looks like that.
And so, Thundershock got up to his feet, leaving behind his drink and the dumplings and made his way up to the bar.
"Get the lady anything she wants on me." He stated as the bartender went to fetch the woman's drink anyways, as she had asked. Thunder then moved to the stool next to her and propped himself up. There was no cocky smirk to his lips, no subtle smile that normally lingered when he flirted with women. For now, he wanted information on the biggest unknown in this room.
"I see it's a Lady Ladrona then~ Thundershock, pleased to meet you. " he began with as he turned the seat to get a better look at the girl now that the two were so close together. Now that he was here, he was able to really take in her refined features that had first caught him so off guard. It didn't take him long to become that much more intrigued in the woman next to him.
"I can't say I imagined a woman as elegant as you to be the one to take on a job just as this one."

Hearing the voice she turned to see the man with the lightning scar. It was easy to assume this must be Thundershock himself, the big cheese. He moved to the stool next to her and propped himself up. He introduced himself "Call me Juana. Pleased to meet you Thundershock" she spoke with her very noticable spanish accent. She offered him her hand so they can shake hands.
He then put up the gentleman act and saying how he cant imagine an elegant woman as her taking on a job as this one "Well, I am a thief. Ladrona just means thief. I do heists. As for the kidnapping. I dont normally do that. I just said that to steal your attention and meet you in person. I have heard so much about you. I wanted to see what the head of Yakuza looks like" she said. And well Thunder wasnt at all what she imagined. She expected a tattoo'd shirtless brute and a neanderthal. He didnt seem like one. Maybe that was a stereotype. But she was interested in what he wanted now that she was here. Money was always good. And as well as a place to stay until she finds her goal. Her father

"Juana, beautiful name. Encantada de conocerte." He said with a smile as the bartender came back and placed another drink in front of the lady before turning away from the two once again. he returned to his other duties and began to dry the glasses that had been brought up to him to put away. Meanwhile, Thunder couldn't take his eyes off of the woman as she spoke.
He hadn't heard the word ladrona in a long time, and therefore hadn't put much thought into it's meaning. If he had, then surely he would of picked up the obvious connection. still, it seemed odd to him... probably because he was used to dealing with the Japanese, and not the Spanish as much.
"Well now that you have me here, what is your first impression? Because if you're as surprised as I am then we're going to have a very interesting relationship." He chuckled as he took up the drink the bartender brought him and brought it up to his lips, taking a large sip before placing the glass back down in front of him.
"If you aren't up for the job however, I can hire someone else once we're done here. The job should be fairly easy as the man I need has a pretty lame quirk to defend himself with." He explained just a little bit without going into too much detail yet. He didn't want to reveal who he needed and for what unless he was sure she was going to take on this job.
"Of course since it's out of your usual scope, I don't mind adding a bit of hazard pay to sweeten my offer. "

"Oh? You speak spanish? Impresionante" she said, impressed that he spoke spanish. He really wasnt something that she expected. As he spoke with a smile on his face, the bartender soon returned and placed another drink in front of the her before turning away from the two once again.
Now that she is here, the yakuza man asked her what was her first impression. "Oh indeed I am surprised. You look much more civil than what I imagined" she said, remembering how she imagined yakuza as tattoo'd and shirtless savages. She then took her drink and sipped it. She did take notice when he said that they would have an interesting 'relationship', but she didnt want to follow that up and ask
He then told her that if she isnt up for the job, he can always hire someone else. "Oh no no no no~ I will accept this job. I do love a challenge~ Besides, kidnapping is just like stealing, only with humans" she said with a smile and with a friendly and warm tone. Which is funny considering her Quirk is anything but warm.
"But" there was always a but "You did say there was something to sweeten your offer~" she said in a very flirty offer as she got a bit closer to him

Thundershock couldn't help but laugh as Juana called him civil. Just what was she expecting to find at the head of a criminal organization? Sure he looked and often acted the brute, but he was raised a businessman, a rich kid with everything at his fingertips. Perhaps he was an odd mix of both stereotypes, but none the less he found it amusing.
His smile soon turned into a grim as Juana would then agree to the job he was offering, nodding his head and reaching into his coat pocket to retrieve a burner phone. He took it out, then passed it over the table to Juana, letting his hand linger for a moment before letting it go. She asked how Thundershock planned to sweeten the deal, as he had offered in the chat and the big man could only lean forward against the bar, leaning his head into his hand as he looked over at the girl.
"That all depends. I can make you offers all day, but unless it's something you want then it wont be very sweet now will it? Tell me Lady Juana, is there something I can give you in return for your services? I assure you the man you are going to kidnap is no small prey~ Ask me for anything, and I'll tell you if it's something I can grant." Of course this offer wasn't as straight forward as it might sound. Should her request be too large, then Juana was going to get roped in to a bit more work for the head of the Yakuza clan...

Soon their jovial attitude faded. The two talked work. Juana said she would accept his deal. But then she asked how can he sweeten his offer. Thunder asked what does she want. Ask him anything and all that stuff. Juana mused "Hmmm.... How about housing? I do need a place to stay." she said what she needed. She was new to Japan so she worked on jobs for money and for housing, like hotels. She had no place to stay for good. "But if thats too out of the range, I guess I'll just do it for money" She was testing the waters to see how far he can go in rewarding her for this job
Speaking of this job "Also can you give me the details who I need to get? I do need details of the job" like who is it, where is he or she. What do they do? Why are they needed? Dead or alive or injured? All those questions. She needed answered. Those questions and more. She cant go off like a blind and headless mouse and get herself potentially killed. Who knows if Thunder is useful, he might help her with her real goal. Although, she honestly doubted he could. She did not dwell on that. This job was important now

"Tell you what" Thundershock started as he took the final sip of his drink, placing it back down and pushing it towards the bartender with nothing but a motion of his hand to get him to refill it.
"You complete this job perfectly, and I'll give you one of the larger, single homes in the city. One in my district so you wont even be able to tell you're underground. Every villain or criminal in Tokyo can come and find refuge here in the city. The exchange is, you work for your housing, and your food instead of getting paid. You get taken care of, in return for the amount of work you put in. Seeing as this job is very important, consider yourself taken care of for... lets say a year?
If the job goes south, you're still welcome to find a residence here in the city, you'll simply be asked to work for it." Thundershock bargained, thinking of the house not all that far away from his own mansion. He didn't know this girl at all, but could he truly complain about having such a beauty living close by? Her skill would determine how trust worthy she was after-all.
He tried hard not to smirk, instead taking the opportunity to point to the burner phone he had passed over to her just a moment ago.
"The man's name is Dr. Daichi Miura. He officially works for a company known as Meditech as one of their lead researchers. It's come to my attention they've been looking into Quirk development, and how to generate quirks, or at least activate them in people who seem like they don't have one. Anyways, he's not very strong himself, his quirk lets him levitate small objects around him. That said, I don't think he'll fight back. My sources say he's dirty and unethical, just the kind of scientist I need on my team.
The job should be fairly simple. Sneak in, extract him, bring him here. It shouldn't matter if you're seen, just don't get caught. Everything about Dr Miura is on that phone, along with my contact in case of a true emergency." He explained everything he thought was pertinent to the job. Everything else such as Dr. Miura's schedule, picture and profile would all be accessible from the smartphone.

He spoke, saying if she completes this job perfect, he will give her one of the larger single homes in the city, in his district and so on. Everyone can live here, the exchange is working for him. And since this job is important, she can consider herself taken care of for a year. If it goes south she's welcome to find a residence here in the city, she'll simply be asked to work for it. Well, she liked both options actually. She needed housing and she didnt mind getting some work.
She noticed the burner phone and looked at it. She then looked back at him as he spoke about the job. She nodded and listened. After hearing what she needed. Juana smiled and nodded. She extended her hand to shake "Well then, I guess I'll be expecting my large home" she said to him. Indicating that she is not only taking the job, but also succeeding in it. And with that she continued to sip her drink as she placed the burner phone in her pocket. Already making plans for to freeze the scientist solid and bring him to Thunder. Well, depends if the man resists. Well, she can always contact Thunder and tell him to prepare fire quirkers if need be
