Niso was feeling good… he’d met back with Luzia, and as furious as he’d still been with him, it was clear she missed him as much as she’d needed her space at the time, and with their explanations of who they were to one another they’d become all the closer for it. To think, Niso’s painter, an artist of bloodshed, would also be the pink haired child of St Marta’s who’s own bloodshed of the bullies of that orphanage would be the catalyst that brought him out of his coma like fugue state. Ah, it was good to be alive when both of his dream girls had literally been rolled into one. Of course, his own faulty memory of his time from St Marta’s was to blame, but with the files of St Marta’s in hand he felt he no longer had to worry about his memory of the place… all he had to worry about was burning the place to the ground…!~
Still… why not live in bliss, for at least a few weeks? Niso had no rush to slaughter those old hags and crones who’d made the first 2 third of his life a waking hell of abuse and agony. He however did have an urge to spend more time with his beloved painter Luzia! The darling of his eye, the neon that lit up his night. Beauty, creativity, energy, and with such newfound confidence to her…
He needed to treat her somehow. Something meaningful perhaps. Luzia was very much someone who reacted well to ‘typical’ signs of intimate expression. No fault of her own really. Her childhood too had been filled with misery and her mind scattered in some ways to the wind. Flowers, chocolates, those weren’t things she’d ever received from lovers in the past, and so, she always squealed with such brilliant delight when Niso made such efforts for her…~
Ooo. Speaking of flowers. Niso’s idle little stroll through the streets had him coming across a little flower shop in Tokyo, his eyes lingering on the display flowers outside, the ones pushed to the outside of the store so the vibrant colors could hopefully entice customers inside. Lifting his head, Niso peared inside, spotting some red haired woman dealing with a customer… the foggy glass didn’t let him see much in terms of her facial features but the fact she was busy made this easy enough for Niso. He spent a few seconds, his eyes flicking through the bouquets on display, before very casually picking one with pink and blue flowers up, hoisting it over his shoulder as he whistles a casual tune, walking down the street and away from the store.

"And you are sure you can handle this Qiara?" the red-head asked the black-haired girl wearing a black and white outfit similar to Kado's own, standing in front of her on the other side of the counter. "I'm sure Miss Nisshoku. You've done your best to train and teach me, and I know this part of the neighbourhood." she assured Kado with a smile and a nod before she walked around the counter, then began to try and push her boss out the door. "Now, just you leave running the Tokyo branch of the Eclipsian to me. Okay? Go and enjoy yourself in the city before heading back to Musutafu." the young girl suggested, Kado rolling her eyes playfully and sighing as she was half-pushed out of her own store.
"Fine fine... Just make sure that nobody tries anything funny okay?" she asked, before spotting something of that very nature happening right under her nose. "Did you?" Kado asked, Qiara shaking her head as her eyes followed Kado's to the boy walking away with one of their bouquet of flowers. The red-headed woman looked around the street for a moment, Qiara promptly heading back inside the store. If she doesn't see anything, she can't say anything.
"Chilling dark branches, choke the world. Pitch-dark flowers, set into bloom. Emerge and take thy vengeance. Thorn." she invoked under her breath, the bouquets of flowers outside the shop starting to lose their petals as they swirled around her, before taking shape and form into that of the red and black plant-like draconic beast that is her Quirk. Kado snapped her fingers and the great beast shot out its tendrils towards the thief, attempting to grab hold of him and drag him back to the store and in front of her. "I don't take kindly to thieves."

“…” Niso heard the words of some over the top little quippy line from behind him, glancing back over his shoulder and watching as the petals of the flowers outside the store started to swirl and reform into some dragon like creature, Niso’s eyes growing a little wide at the sheer audacity of the apparent owner or runner of the store to use their quirk. It wasn’t in self defence afterall, so to do so was definitely illegal in some respect… Niso was already impressed. The dragon blocked his view of the woman’s face for a moment, but he couldn’t help but let out an excited little giggle.
“Oh I doubt anyone does but-WOAH!~” Hopping off the ground Niso was careful not to fling the flowers about too much, dodging the initial whipping of thorny vines towards him, stumbling into the backfoot a bit. Given he was now officially caught in the act, black flesh started to spread over his face to form his typical white eyed, white smiled mask to keep his face covered. “I didn’t realize they gave florists license to use their quirks to catch thieves! Still! I suppose it’s more romantic if I literally had to best a dragon to get my girl some flowers! CHAO!~”
Placing the stems of the bouquet in his mouth, the flesh mask tearing around his mouth to do so, Niso turned on his heels and started to run. He had no doubts he could potentially outlast some random quirker off the street in a fight but he wanted to get this flowers back to his Painter, so he wasn’t about to waste time in a fight that could potentially damage and ruin the gift he’d stolen for her. Rushing off down the street he’d turn sharply into an alleyway, kicking off a dumpster and latching onto the lower rails of a fire escape, clambering up, but rather than taking the stairs up, he continued to clamber up the outside railings of it towards the roof.

The kid was right about one thing. They don't give licences to florists that allowed them to use their Quirks. Or at least Kado had never looked into it. As far as she was concerned, if any of her staff wished to use their Quirk in her establishment and it wasn't going to break the place, they were free to do so... But that wasn't the situation here, and it was one that she needed to resolve. Quickly, before some idiot with a phone decided to appear and make a call to the police or something.
Kado climbed onto the back of Thorn and ordered the beast to pursue the thief. There was something vaguely familiar about his voice, but she wasn't sure what it was. She watched him go down an alley and with a pat to the beasts neck, they began to ascend into the skies. There was an increased risk of being detected, especially in a busy city like Tokyo, but a point and an example had to be made. And like hell was she going to leave this to the police...
As they approached the rooftop she got off her draconic summons back, and bade her beast to resume its flight, checking the gaps between the rooftops like a police search helicoptor. Now all they had to do was wait, see where the bastard was going to show up and then resume the hunt. Thorn hissed as his vines writhed, scanning the rooftops edge, and the neighbouring roofs as well...

Having dipped into an alley in his attempts to escape Niso assumed he was mostly in the clear when the dragon hadn’t ended up chasing him. It’s petal-y form making him assume it might be able to squeeze into a tight space and give chase but it seemed not. For a moment he assumed he might already be in the clear. The woman he’d barely managed to spot behind their dragon was a florist of all things afterall. They were probably just trying to scare him. As if they’d really be so bold as to break the law just to chase him do-
“…Oh hey birdie.”
Looking up through the slithers of space above him he could spot the aerial sweeps the rose dragon quirk was making, a mild panic setting in. Even if he knew he’d probably survive this he didn’t like the idea of being torn apart by a dragon’s talons and having to piece himself back together from that. Very briefly he’d just duck under a fire escape, hoping the misaligned metal platforms would be enough cover while e worked on something else. With slow, deep breaths, his hair forcibly grew out of his scalp, a mildly painful process, especially as he changed the pigments contained in his cells, pink hair growing in place of the black, and the black hair dying, becoming so frail he just needed to ruffle his hair for all the old fibres to break apart and fall to the ground, leaving Niso with a head of pink hair. “That should help… hope Luzia doesn’t mind crushed flowers…” Knowing they’d give him away he stuffed them carefully under the cover of his jacket, hooking a hand onto the bottom rung of the fire escape, climbing to the roof, a confident chuckle as he emerged on the rooftop.
“Heh… dumb bitch thinking she can…” His eyes tipped up from the climb up, eyes finding those of the red haired dragon tamer. “….you didn’t hear that, right?”

"Oh I heard that." Kado replied, letting out a mildly amused snort as she observed the formerly dark haired boy reach the rooftop, now donning a mess of pink hair. It looked a little too natural to be a wig, and there was no way in hell that a dye job could have settled in this quickly, which meant his Quirk allowed him to change his appearance. "Handy little ability there, for a thief." she said somewhat approvingly as she gestured to his new style and colour.
There was something about that shade of pink though... The voice didn't match the hair colour that was for sure, but there was something... The sense of uncertain familiarity bugged her to no end and she snapped her fingers, Thorn returning to her side from its patrol of the rooftops and growling at the boy. "First, you're going to either return what you stole or pay for them. Either option will see you walk free." Kado declared, presenting the unspoken ultimatum to the now pink-haired thief, with Thorn's vines twitching and his teeth bared sharp.
"Second... Have we met before?" she asked him, slowly squatting down to try and get a better look at him poking up from the edge. "For some reason you seem familiar, and its making me quite irritated that I cannot place the reason why." the red-head partially explained to the pink-head. Her eyes shifted to the aforementioned mess of hair on his head. "That shade of pink is not helping either..."

“EEssh. Poor timing on my part eh?” He’d retort cheekily, his arms hugging around the top layer of the ladder to cross around eachother, just giving the woman a not at all threatened expression, remaining calm in the face of the ultimatum he was given. Sure, there was an unspoken third option there of facing punishment but…. Ehhh. Niso had never seen a punishment he couldn’t outlive. It was only when the woman seemed to be saying that she recognized him from somewhere that gears started to turn. At first, for a fleeting moment, he assumed they may be about to realize they were dealing with one of Japan’s most wanted and back off, but the familiarity seemed to run deeper than that… and Niso had to agree. His memory of his past was a fuzzy messy before his 16th year, and even then he had some gaps but… he did feel an odd sense of familiarity himself.
“Well I can assure you this isn’t my normal hair color… but I can also assure you that you left out a third option there.” He drew back both his hands in a gesture, the kind someone might make idly when giving a presentation. “Let me tell you all about it as-“ Aaaand with both his hands now off the ladder, he began to fall backwards with a shitty grin, falling back down several stories to the ground in the alleyway, flipping his weight at the last moment to land on his legs, but clearly something shattered as even Kado could hear it on the roof. He whimpered briefly, but seemed to just… shake out one leg after the other, clearly dislodged bone shook back into place before Niso started running again. Familiarity or not, he wasn’t about to let Luzia know he got beat by a florest!

The fact that he was being nonchalant about being threatened with probable death by deciduous dragon if not downright dolor, that really irritated her. She snorted in amusement at his comment about the pink not being his natural hair colour. "Well, not many people have naturally pink hair. Red like mines about as close as they get." she said, deciding to play along with his little game for the time being. It might just jog her memory about where she'd met this person before if they kept going...
When he mentioned a third option however to his predicament, she realised what he was about to do even as he began to fall down to his apparent doom. The sickening crunch of his legs breaking definitely reached her ears, with both her and Thorn wincing at the sight and sound of it... But what caused her eyes to widen was the fact that he was getting back up, his body perfectly fine as he repopped his legs into place with nothing more than a shake of the broken limb. He was even beginning to run away again!
His Quirk wasn't appearance changing, at least not just that... but he could adjust himself, repair himself... He could take a beating and keep on going, even after something that should have killed him... The memory finally snapped into place as to how she knew him, and more importantly where she knew him from.
She quickly climbed onto Thorns back and descended to ground level, dispersing the dragon as soon as they landed. "MARTA!" Kado called out, hoping and fearing that she was right about this blast from the past. Part of her hoped that she was wrong and that it was just a terrible coincidence... but another part was almost horribly certain about this.

Hissing in pain for the first few steps of his new run, Niso soon got back into the swing of it as his muscle fibres wrapped around broken bone while the rest of his cells sped up the healing process and got him back in working order. A great thing about his quirk was even while he had to heal himself he'd learned other ways around it, making his body work for him rather than having to sit down and rest like any old quirkless lemon, or most other quirks for that matter. He took the caution to peek over his shoulder, only to groan as the dragon had come down to the alley level to give chase after him.
"Oh come on lady can't you appreciate a 5 finger discount?~ It's for my girlfriend!~" He'd chime back with glee in his voice as he continued to play this little 'game' of cat and mouse, turning back around as he'd briefly been running backwards to call to her, looking to a sharp turn up ahead and, rather than skidding to a sharp stop and running at the right Angle, niso started curving in the other direction. Years of running away from tougher criminals making him a dab hand at some basic parkour, running a few steps up the wall, kicking off into the turn and managing to maintain his momentum even as he continued to flee the florest fanatic who seemed hell bent on getting this bouquet back. Like geeze, how much did it cost to be worth all this effort?

No reaction to the word Marta. None at all. Maybe he wasn't from that damned sham of an orphanage after all, or maybe he'd managed to move on from the nightmare that they'd endured there... The fact that he was apparently stealing her flowers for a girlfriend of his didn't lend weight to either version. "Maybe explains the pink hair though..." Kado mused as the boy escaped from her sight.
The red-head closed her eyes, trying to see if she could feel any plant life nearby that she could use to resummon her draconic beast... But aside from the bouquet the boy had stolen from her, and her own shop there was nothing. She wasn't about to deplete more of her inventory just to get back one probably damaged set of flowers by this point, and she wasn't so petty as to use up what the boy had stolen for his sweetheart.
She rubbed the back of her neck and sighed, starting to make her way back to her shop. If he really had been at Saint Marta's and had moved on in such a way that he was now in an apparently stable relationship... then who was she to deny him making and keeping up the effort for such a life? Although next time he tries to steal from her shop, she may just decide to shoot him in the legs instead of chasing after him with her Quirk.
"I must be getting soft in my old age..." Kado mused to herself, snorting in derisive amusement at that comment.

Niso felt like he was getting away pretty scott free here once he turned the corner, a sharp run downt he alleyway ahead and the dragon lady hadn't bothered to give any further chase, slowing down a bit just before he got to the street so no one saw him running with the flowers and he could more easily blend in if he needed to. He took a few heated, quick breaths, chest heaving as he did so, working on focusing the oxygen into his bloodstream with some more conscious effort than most people could muster. Briefly he thought back to what he'd just done... he'd literally escaped a dragon to get flowers for his love! Aaaah when he tells Luzia this she'll be over the moon! Soon enough they'll have burned Marta's to the ground and-...
"...Marta..." He paused, hesitant on his memory, knowing there were things he couldn't fully trust it on but... with all the work he'd put into recalling luzia and his past with her, his brain was in pretty good shape lately... had she really...?
Cautiosuly still, he came back around the corner of the alleyway, narrowing his gaze, trying to find the woman in his memory but the time since she'd been there leaving him somewhat short on answers. Still, if he'd heard what he'd heard...
Ah. What the hell. He was nothing if not a risk taker of sorts. "DID YOU SAY MARTA?!" He'd call back,, some mild confusion in his voice that such a woman would use such an odd callout on him. of course to him it meant something, but unless Marta was the name of the bouquet he was robbing he didn't really see much reason for her to have called it out unless it meant something to her too...

He called back to her, asking if she'd said Marta... So he was from there. Kado stopped where she was and looked back towards the man who'd returned. She held up her hands in a gesture to show she was not being threatening or anything of the sort, before she began to approach him so that they wouldn't have such a... delicate conversation by yelling at each other. Once she got close enough that she could talk in a normal volume to him, she began to reply.
"I did... I think I remember you. Assuming you are who I think you are." Kado looked the youth up and down, trying to get a sense for face as well as body. Although it had been about seven years since she'd been there, she could still recall some details. "The boy who couldn't die... right?" the red-head asked, narrowing her eyes as she wondered what his response would be. Saint Marta's was not exactly a pleasant subject to bring up for anyone who'd grown up there, and if he was indeed who she thought he was...
Well, if part of her past had caught up to her then perhaps it was only fair that they finish what they started at that shit stain and sham of an orphanage... Kado just hoped he wasn't on good terms with that hellhole and its staff, or it might be even worse for her. "I was the garden girl." she said, offering a place for his own memory to latch on to should he require it.

“… I believe they called me ‘Punching bag’.” He answered simply, the glee having left his voice from before and the idle confusion as to her recognizing him fading with each passing second. For a moment he still couldn’t recognize her. “It was less about me not dying, more so the fact I could hide any bruises or marks they left on me. Pretty painful way to live as I remember… literally being everyone’s method of letting their frustrations loose…” He started to mumble through grit teeth. His eyes shifted up to the older woman, trying to search his memories for who she might be, but on the mention of her being the ‘garden girl’ it started to click a little. Given their age differences she was gone from the orphanage while he was still in the single digits age wise… but that striking red hair was starting to seem familiar.
Niso looked to the flowers he was still holding, flipping the bouquet so the flower end rested on his palm so he was offering it back by the stem end. “Here… I’m not about to go stealing off another surviver of that hell hole.” He’d hold out the flowers to the woman, more than willing to give them back. “I can get Luzia some stolen flowers from someone who didn’t get the shit end of the stick for most of the childhood… do… do you remember Luzia? Pink hair… neon powers?”

Kado rubbed her throat as he mentioned everyone at that damnable place taking their frustrations out on him, the choker hiding her scar. "For all our power, we had none compared to the ones running that damned hellscape..." the red-head mused in response. Whilst she had never taken her anger out on the boy back at the orphanage, she also hadn't tried to intervene on his behalf either. Which in hindsight made her as equally guilty as the other children...
When he offered the flowers back, she reached out a hand to accept them... then pulled it back, leaving the flowers in the boys hands. "Keep them. You can consider them a gift if you want." Kado suggested, a wry smirk etched on her face. "If someone with your baggage from that shithole is able to find someone that is worth getting chased down by a draconic Quirk for... Then maybe there's hope for the rest of us yet." she explained.
When he mentioned what the girl with pink hair could do, Kado slowly nodded. "I think so yes. Admittedly I left that place about... seven years ago now I think." she said as she tried to remember. The pink hair part of it all definitely seemed familiar if nothing else.

Niso had a bit of a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of his neck, not really sure how to hold a conversation with this woman but... absolutely wanting to even if it was the most uncomfortable experience he'd ever endure, and that was saying something. Niso had started to remember a lot of faces from his time at that hellhole and in all honesty, anyone that didn't give him a personal reason to despise them, to seek revenge... he remembered with a fondness that didn't befit the hellhole. For this older girl her face was exceptionally sparse in his memory, even for the foggy fugue state he'd been in at the time, but really that was only a good thing, in a selfish manner of thinking. It meant that she wasn't one of the people burned into his mind for abusing him.
"Mmm... though I'd hardly say I had 'power'... just the ability to endure..." He let out a low chuckle, a dial in his brain returning him a little to what he was, calming him, the manic wildling or the murderous sociopath shifting a little more to just... a lost kid, remembering his past thanks to the face infront of him. As much as he could rub his power to survive in other's face now, back then... he was close to considering even immortality a curse, something he believed his quirk was fully capable of.
When allowed to keep the flowers he gave a warm smile and nodded. "Thanks... like I said she was from there too. She was the girl who made me just... realize I didn't have to sit there and endure it. Day in. Day out. Enduring turned from a curse to a power thanks to seeing what she did before she ran away..." He gave another low chuckle, his usual energy more subdued. Still present but... also calmer, as if lingering in the back of his voice without pushing forward to make its presence so fully known.
"I don't remember you all that much if I'm honest though... lemme guess. Foster placement?" He'd ask, trying to be a little forward in his queries, scoffing a little as he explained himself. "I mean your able to make a dragon out of flower petals. I imagine someone would have loved to have a kid like that under their thumb. What was it? Treated like some exotic pet by some anti-quirker thug?" He'd hazard a guess as to the nature of whatever foster placements kept her out of his memory.
