The tall, immaculate fortress that was ASTA Corporation's headquarters had been abuzz recently. The whole company was preparing for an influx of new talent and new work to do; after all, the Hero Sponsorship Program had officially begun and the first two pro-heroes to be sponsored by the company were set to meet with the CEO. The first of these was a rather big surprise for some, Paw Might was a popular Pro Hero who spent a great deal of time at UA High School. He set an example for the young heroes in training and despite his animal habits was one of the more ingenious and optimistic forces of personality at the school. He hadn't hesitated to sign on with the program, though most attributed that to his intellect and good sense. "ASTA HQ Does not have a VIP Elevator, apologies mister Paw Might," the frazzled Hei Momoko said as she stepped into the elevator with the pro hero and a few curious employees. She looked like she hadn't slept properly in months and had her notes scattered about in her arms. Even so, she smiled with a strange energy. "ASTA Has a non-hierarchical policy, Miss Chernova always says that we are only as strong as the weakest among us," She said, a few of the other employees near by swelling with pride. "She rides these elevators too every morning, when she doesn't sleep in her office," Momoko explained with a tired laugh. A few of the others chuckled as they began getting off and on all the way up to the administrative floor, one floor beneath the top floor. There was a small key hole next to that button. Hei paid it no mind and began walking; "Miss Chernova is..." She rubbed her eyes, "Right inside..." She restrained a yawn and pointed down the hallway. It was a narrow, windowless hall with screens on either side simulating a verdent, comfortable forest. Some sort of scent generator was running to make it smell like trees and a gentle breeze seemed to come from nowhere. At the end of the illuminated path a pair of heavy doors waited, one of them opening with a silent hiss as soon as the diminutive hero approached, revealing a similar room but currently set up to simulate a beach along the walls. The floor was also responding to him, 'sand' shifting beneath his feet, though it was still a flat surface. At her desk, standing at the corner with a smile on her pretty pale face; was Sonya Chernova. "Welcome, Mister Paw Might, to ASTA..." | TAG WORDS NOTES

Perry, or PawMight as his hero title, Was dressed rather well as he entered the building. His pin stripe suit tailored made like many of his clothes since he'd started earning actual payment for his hero duties and other work. The school as well combined with his home ownership coming from his... negotiations with the government. He had quickly been launched into a rather comfortable life he had wanted for some time since his initial escape. He was a worker and a entrepreneur in some ways. He had in a way of putting it pulled himself up by his non existent boot straps. An gotten himself into a powerful place in society and growing income through some extreme circumstances that would have been amazing if he was a human alone let alone a sentient animal born outside of the UQAR's wider freedoms and acceptance.
That being said as they got into the elevator and had the initial meetings he still had times where he didn't always understand human society or way of things so to speak. As they entered the elevator his small fuzzy hands reached inside his suit jacket searching for something. Thinking on it all as some of this was a interesting idea to him. This company offered quite a bit and he had to admit... he liked being treated like someone important rather then just some wild rat on the street with a broom shoved in his face for simply seeking food.
"Sounds like a powerful woman, Hard worker... I like that. Hoomans often attempt to take the easy way from what I've seen." He'd add lightly into the conversation and the comments as the tired woman spoke as well. Once he arrived in the actual office however. He found himself a bit taken back looking around as he fished out what was in his jacket. A cigar and a rather expensive looking one it seemed. Perry biting into it and holding it at the corner of his mouth. His rows of sharp teeth his people were known for crunching into it lightly holding it in place more securely then a human could. Skittering along the floor seemingly finding the interactive flooring rather amusing. Able to climb and plop into a chair in front of the corner desk with relative ease. So he could be as close to eye to eye with the woman as was most possible in the present situation.
"Fancy smancy it seems, This place is pretty high tier. Must have costed you a arm and a tail to get this office like this! Gotta say I prefer a more rustic touch though. I build my own home and office within it ya know. Glad ta meet ya Miss Sonya." He'd say in mild small talk and greetings as well. Fishing for his lighter within his jacket as well to light his cigar treat in his thin fuzzy lips.

Sonya gave a bright smile, tilting her head in greeting. "And very glad to meet you as well, Mister PawMight, or may I call you Perry?" She said, walking over and putting a single dainty finger on the lighter, she gave him a dazzling white-toothed smile. "If you don't mind, dearie, we can enjoy our vices outside, later," She suggested, pushing the lighter down a half inch before walking back to her desk. It was odd being taller than someone for a change, most folk around here were so big she'd heard of the stereotype that Japanese people were shorter but that clearly wasn't true. She leaned against her desk and looked him up and down once before placing her hand on a folder that had been sitting on her desk.
"The office was... expensive, yes," She admitted with a small laugh; "Rustic has it's place, I stayed at a beautiful classical Japanese estate a few months back, around the time of that sports festival," She said, snapping her fingers as if trying to remember. "Incredible event, that," she inclined her head; "I'll be honest, the festival is what made me think to start the sponsorship program," She said, picking up the folder and flipping it open. She nodded at the door down the hall where the elevator had let the hero out. The agent that had attended to him was standing in the doorway. She bowed once and then made her way to the elevator, leaving Sonya and Perry alone.
"Momoko will be your agent going forward, handling business and logistics for you. Anything you need, even hiring and doing work for your agency, she can handle it. But before we get into all that I wanted to meet you and get to know you, a little one on one between new friends, mm?" She offered with a bright smile, "Along with that, I thought we could talk a little about what kind of products you would like to be associated with, I heard a bit of a rumor that you're a fan of fried chicken," She laughed a genuine laugh and put her hand on her chest to take a breath; "I daresay the commercial food industry would love to have a pro-hero championing some of it's brands, wouldn't you say?" She implied, flipping another page over in the folder and glancing up at him, her eyes were more of an off-red rather than a pink and had no glow to them. | TAG WORDS NOTES

He wiggled in the seat getting comfortable, sniffing the air curiously as a natural way when he was confused before stashing his lighter and cigar away at her request. "Oh, I see, That's fine I suppose.... And you may call me Perry. I'm alright with either or though." He'd say simply in greeting and agreeing to the denial of his vice. Humans had strange rules here or there and it always seemed different from human to human. But he just went along with it of course not wanting to cause any troubles or issues. Still with a large grin as was natural for his people when they were in a good mood and spirits.
"My teaching career is still rather new to me. The festival is a rather big and explosive booming thing from what I've seen. I can see how it might bring about the idea of flashy stuff to go along with the flashy fights and training courses." He'd say commenting as they briefly spoke about the festival and the school a bit. "I'm always curious of a new venture if it benefits me. I brought myself up from nothing so I'm always looking for ways to move forward. I think we both are similar in that regard! Gotta work hard for what you want and push forward to make a better life!" He'd say in light passing conversation taking a moment to fix his tie a bit on his suit. Seemingly comfy where he sad enjoying the office looking around lightly from time to time to take in the view of the fancy styling and structure of the building and the office in particular. All the work that must have went into it was almost daunting as his little mind raced to think of such things and how it might work.
He'd seem to think over all she said usually being respectful and kind. Perry tended to try and give people respect as long as they didn't disrespect him! He didn't like the metaphorical broom in his face any more then the physical one. So at times he was a little weary eyes and ears listening careful. "She seems nice, I don't mind that. I'm not really all that understanding of all this business yet and am still looking over various things to understand it better. But she seems kind and I haven't seen any reason to doubt you or the intentions of all this yet so I'll trust them. An yes... I am a fan indeed of the fried chicken! Much of such treats were hard to get to before I finally took status and my citizenship to get my ability to get such things." He'd say curiously scratching his chin with his front paw. Perhaps the similarity and animal style of someone scratching their chin in thought would be the closest human comparison. "Some commercials could be a interesting way to get some notice... I just want to make sure people know to respect me as well. Things I do as well that might be able to help the animals as well someway. Or I hear many of the small young humans are fans of mine. Maybe things that could appeal to them?" He'd say curiously as the conversation got rolling. He struggled at times to know what words to use toe explain what he meant. Human ways were still very different form his own many of the time.

She remained standing for the most part, listening to him talk. Her thumb was on a particular page of notes as he went on about his excitement about pushing forward toward a new and better life for himself. Most heroes had a misguided sense of justice these days but this one had a pure way of thinking, he wanted to improve his own lot in life while using his abilities for others when he could. It was likely the most honesty she'd ever heard out of a Pro Hero in a long time. She pursed her lips and mused a bit, a smile curling as he commented on his new aide. "I can explain it whenever you like, to put it simply her role is to make relations with ASTA more comfortable and to make running your agency easier," She stood up and walked over to one of the digital 'windows'.
"I have six companies that are interested in sponsorship deals with Pro Heroes. Western Fried Chicken, McRonalds, Pizza Shack, Taco Gong, Northern Takoyaki, and Brewhouse Grills," She said, the logos for the various companies appearing on the screen as she tapped it. She turned to face him, "McRonalds also wants to work on toy deals, they seem to think action figures of real heroes would do even better than comic book super heroes," She stifled a small laugh; "Honestly? I think that would be your best approach, that and I had one other suggestion if you'd heed me..." She tilted her head; "How do you feel about state sponsored educational programming? Childrens television written by education specialists?" She closed the folder and walked over to her desk and sitting down. She pulled open her drawer and took out a small pamphlet. "They've reached out to me but I haven't found anyone willing to bite," | TAG WORDS NOTES

He wasn't really sure how all this company mumbo jumbo really worked, Nor was he one to always easily ask for a explanation either. Usually liking to learn and do things his own way. He wasn't one for enjoying feeling like he may owe something to someone he doesn't fully know. So he was carefully in his dealings at least most of the time he was. His small claw at the end of his pink paw scratched lightly at his chin. A common little sign when he was thinking or trying to digest the information he'd been told. Given there were likely several heroes and all the random things he saw this company's logo on it did make sense having various people handle each of them differently. One person could only do so much after he all he had to suppose inwardly.
"So kinda like a handler?" He said but his comparison likely wasn't exactly the same as what Sonya might take from the world. Given his passed and where he was born and lived his initial possum youth. "I suppose given how large this company is I very much should have expected as much. She seems nice as well at least for what its worth so I suppose I don't have any complaints on the matter." He said for the most part seeming to understand and picking up what Sonya was putting down information wise for him in the moment.
He leaned forward in his chair momentarily sniffing at the air on impulse and natural reaction at the strange sudden change to the wall. It wasn't that he didn't trust his eyes but his sniffer always had to take a sniff on impulse do to his animal instincts kicking in now and again. Meal sponsorships or some kind. He was rather fond of allot of these foods as were many of the kids he'd bump into that often seemed to be fans of his what few he seemed to have. The idea of kids programming as well, A few of the shows or logos he recognized when he would enjoy his beer and Saturday morning cartoons. Those were the days he'd just leave his suit to the side and enjoy his morning of cartoons and a buzz in his natural fuzziness.
"I suppose the chicken company is nice I eat there allot, There's also the toy thing for McRonalds. I like the small human joeys that are kind and enjoy my autograghs there." He'd say sniffing still his small beady brown eyes looking over the wall. Turning his head casually this way and that way given his small size and line of sight. "Ooooh I'd really like that last part, I teach History at UA as you may know." Taking a moment to smugly grin at one animals modest achievements. "Maybe if it goes well I could even use one of these t.v. works in my class." He'd say seemingly to be on the hook one might say his tail swaying lightly upon the cushion of the seat he stood up in still small front paws supporting him by leaning on the desk in front of him of his as his tail was wrapped around the arm of the chair as well for further support.

She tilted her head to the right when she compared his agent to a handler. Why he couldn't just accept the word 'agent' was a little strange to her. Maybe she'd been so used to working with models and actors that the word 'agent' made more sense them. She scratched her nose and gave him a pleased look regardless while she walked back over to her desk and sat down, relaxing a bit in her chair. It was time to get down to business. The pitch was over and done with. She crossed her legs and snagged a pen from her desk, fidgeting with it while she watched his reactions to the screen.
"Perhaps we need to get you an appointment with a team to design some toys in your likness, shouldn't be too difficult. Why don't you tell me a little about your quirk so we can add it to a trading card or something, theme some of the toys around what you can do," She said, tapping her chin with the pen and glancing over to the right at the screen as something came to mind. She glanced back at him when he enthused about the teaching opportunity. A smile crossed her face; "I thought you might like it, history hm? I think I have just the thing actually... would you mind if I got with some screenwriters and entertainment specialists to put together a pitch before I got you too excited?" She laughed, "I hate disappointing people," She said very honestly.
She rubbed her nose almost absently with the back end of the pen and pursed her lips in thought. "Commercials shouldn't be too difficult to arrange, the restaurants have their own studios so reserving that won't be a problem. Your agent will get in contact with them about how you want to proceed. I would take some time and really look into the various restaurants, their policies, the way they treat their employees, everything. Know what you're getting into. I'm sure your agent can help you with that too." Sonya said, tapping her finger. She tensed a heavily manicured finger against the armrest of her chair; "That was a bit blunt, forgive me, I have little patience for companies that treat their employees badly, though," She said with a cool smile.
"Anyway, that's neither here nor there, why don't you tell me about things you'd like to use your profile to accomplish?" She said, nodding to the screen as simulated newspaper reels dashed by. | TAG WORDS NOTES

It was all quite interesting to his beady little brown and black eyes that seemed to cross somewhat now and again when he focused directly on something for too long as he found the displays and special office worth several looks now and again as his eyes wondered the room from time to time but also always made sure to keep aware of where the big cheese of the place was as well. While he had trust he also knew better then to not be on guard as well. Humans rarely meant what they said and often had insatiable appetites for whatever it is they wanted. IF he'd learned anything it was people so high up often never settled for what they had more the more they had. He would sniff the air from time to time able to somewhat keep up where people were that way too. he thought she had a pleasant scent.
He seemed genuinely curious at the talk of the toys now more directly. A small paw occasionally scratching at his fuzzy chin as if it was a beard like humans do. As well as briefly straightening his tie from time to time. It was important to him that people knew what he was. That he was an animal, not a wild creature or some sort of tool for humans. "The stuff needs to be made of safe and stuff that doesn't come from harming any of my kind. No real fur or anything like that. I don't mind the proper care and dealings with normal animals. I eat meat like anyone else... Obviously nothing quirked and I would like even those animals to at least receive decent treatment. We had these big stuffed creatures when I was a child in the enclosures. I want something soft and presentable made of approved materials of which I think you understand. I assume your work already comes with high standards I would just like that point to be known is all." He'd say explaining a bit caring about what his image was on.
"Oh you mean like those sports cards? Hmm... Sounds interesting. Another on of those odd things humans collect. Well let me think here for a moment." He'd say scratching at his fur again under his chin as he put thoughts into words after a few moments of careful and thoughtful pondering. "Well the obvious thing is my mind, I'm a exceptionally quick learner if something is interesting to me. I'm strong enough to lift quite a hefty some and fight most villains that I've come up against. My body is also very durable I don't smoosh or get hurt like one would expect one like me too. An I can run faster them most other animals too. Making me a speedy durable little bullet when someone tries to cause trouble around me where I can see them or sniff them out." He'd say his snoot giving a small wiggle as he sniffed the air as if on impulse and reaction after saying what he said in explanation.
When it came to the talk of screenwriters and a few things he didn't fully understand but got enough of the gist to say. "That seems okay, I'll here what your people have to say when they have all this prepared." Referring to the move people mumbo jumbo. Of course he'd be careful to look over anything brought to him he figured he'd better understand it with something physical in his hands to read when the time came as well.
It seemed like allot of things would be taken care of by the handler at the end of the day. It sounded easy... Which was nice. But he wasn't really used to other people doing allot of things for him. He was used to doing most things himself. A man or animal rather pulled up by their metaphorical boot straps one might say. "I assume and from what I've read these places don't used quirked animal meat? That's what I think I've read in my research but you're one of those people with connections. So you can make sure those are the ones picked?" He'd say somewhat curiously as if wanting to make sure he hadn't miss judged some of his favorite treat locations. Of course with rising rights for animals in this country he didn't expect it to be the case of anyone using quirked animals like that but still he tried to gauge and watch her reaction listening carefully when she would answer. He also liked how she talked about companies that were less then kind to their workers. It made even more... curious.
"I want people to know I'm an animal. I'm not a human who was mutated into something like what I am. I am an animal and proud of what I am. People need to know that and know that I'm not like them but we can still be together because of that. I mean... I'm a hero. I save people... Whats not to like about that?" He'd say giving a light wink of one of his dark brown eyes. Chuckling as well where he sat feeling rather relaxed as well in the moment.

She regarded him for a few seconds as he considered the ethical implications of the products they were selling. She couldn't help but admire him a little for taking it into account. It was very uncommon. She rested the knuckles of her right had under her chin and recrossed her legs; "The has been some controversy in the past concerning McRonalds and some of it's tactics in the United States, but you can rest assured that the regulations are far more strict here in Japan. I'll communicate with the company to impress upon them how important it should be to improve the situation in other regions if they want to carry their products there," She said, "As for the make and materials involved, that isn't an issue, it will go far in creating a brand for you as well~" She mused, tapping her nose and winking at him before getting to her feet.
She was a restless creature after all.
She strode toward the screen and ran her finger across it, tapping a few keys and glancing back at him, eyebrow raised. Eventually, there'd be enough pro-heroes around to make it a reasonable thing to do to make collectable trading cards of them. Like baseball cards. She'd have to make a record. She nodded along while she tapped on the screen on the wall, keeping an eye on the time. A little symbol on the screen showed red before turning white after he finished describing his quirk and abilities. He was a treat, and clearly more powerful than he looked. There was a tone on her phone as the recording transferred. Her office recorded everything but most conversations were deleted within an hour for proprietary reasons. She could order the room to keep a conversation when she needed too, though. Like this one.
"No locations I do business with use Quirkers in any unseemly way," She said, her tone a bit cold. "I have spent the past year building toward improving the rights of quirkers and expanding the hero program," She added, the idea of harming innocent quirkers angered her a little. She took a breath and relaxed into a smile; "I understand where you're coming from. Don't worry. In no way will we attempt to detract from your status as a quirked animal," She nodded to him, "Have a little faith, I support what you're trying to do," She said with a wink of her own. | TAG WORDS NOTES

A light snort and few scritches upon his chin as he seemed to contemplate on the talks of moral business decisions as far as animals were concerned. It was something he seemed to have given some thought to prior as well as clearly going forward as well being something of importance in his dealings. Although in his reflection and inward thought he would not a few times and seem to show a pleased if not happy expression in his large possum toothy grin seemingly pleased with her words and the results she spoke of as well. "Glad to hear you're so hard at work and good with your information. It's quite pleasing for trust going forward." He'd briefly add in the conversation as they spoke to one another. Perry briefly wiggling and adjusting in his seat to get more comfortable as well.
It seemed she had his best interests at heart at least, At least enough where he was willing to let some of his guard down for the time being at least. For now he let out a small deep breath and relaxed a bit more where he say. Listening and thinking on every word she spoke as their conversation continued. "Very well, I can give some trust then if this meeting is any indication of what I might experience moving forward. I don't easily give my trust but I'll allow some for now. You seem to be very good at all this as well. Without your tools and your help I couldn't do or reach out to nearly as many people otherwise." He'd say giving a nod and a light animal like purr when she winked giving another toothy possum grin in answering it perhaps as a show of kindness and somewhat mutual respect as well from one living being to another.

Sonya flipped her hair back, smiling with all the due confidence of a CEO. She placed her hand over her heart and dipped into a half bow, inclining her head in his direction; "Your trust is all I need to do exactly as you just said," She said, gesturing to the office around her. "This exists to support hero society, heavens," She said, pointing at the door. "Out there right now are a few students of yours interning at my facility. They're the next generation of people who will take up the path that I am blazing. Hopefully starting from here heroes will have everything they need," She said, embracing the theatrics of the moment with a flourish of her hands.
She clapped her hands together and beamed at him. "Now! We could stand here all day and talk about business until our ears bleed and we die from starvation, or," She winked; "We could get a bite to eat! I am famished and craving something greasy, delicious, and very likely unhealthy," She crooned, reaching for the white trench coat that hung on the back of her chair and threw it over her shoulders. "If you'd like, you could join me for some burgers. Our conversation has given me such a craving~" She stepped toward the door and opened it.
"After you, Mister Hero," She said, and offered him the path out. | TAG WORDS NOTES
