The city was burning, streets defiled, chaos had erupted all over the capital of Japan – not about an hour ago, a hijacked broadcast on TV from one of the most recent high-powered villains had detailed about a prison breakout. Escaped convicts were rampaging from Fuchu Supermax Prison, travelling right towards Tokyo City. Heroes were dispatching from within the city, from Musutafu, as well as from other sections of the country. Students, as well, were travelling toward the carnage to deal with the oncoming threat. One of these students, fully dressed in his hero outfit, with a determined expression on top of his bike that matched the flames around the city, ready to save anyone he could and attack the tyranny – was Tsuji Kuma. Or, rather this time around, the ursine warrior, Iron Teddy. He had made sure to get his parents to the safety of U.A, and was now heading towards Tokyo.
Driving through the rubble and hot fire raging through the wonderful capital was a strange experience, one that the third year student hadn't yet experienced in the field – sure, there was the large scale replica of a city in turmoil on ground alpha, but having the real thing be in this level of disarray... it was evil. And heroes fight evil, so it was high time that the bear got his chance to fight back against the villains, and hopefully make them see the error of their ways. Tsuji had made sure to follow procedure, and placed himself in the vicinity of Paw Might, who was mentoring him at the time, so if anything went wrong, he had a pro to fall back on. Most of the teachers at U.A were off to the prison to stop the riot from getting worse, but a few were trying to contain prisoners in the city, so he thought best to try and get crooks back in jail.
Among the debris, Tsuji saw a woman and what looked like her child hiding out, and he stopped on his bike to help. “Miss, I'm Iron Teddy, 3-A, hero student. You need to get out of here now, try and get to Musutafu if you can, or find a pro hero. Paw Might or Hellhound might be around nearby, try to look for them. In the meantime...” said Tsuji, as he took the woman and her child up. “...I can lead you to safety. Follow me!” With that, and making sure his bike was fine, the bear took off down the road with the mother and daughter in tow. Eventually, he could see in the distance, what looked like a fast way out of the city. “Keep going, don't stop, if someone tries to threaten you, keep running, ok? Leave the bad guys to us: now go!” he said, and they both nodded, rushing down the street. As he saw them off, Iron Teddy began to head back to his bike. This whole ordeal was tough, he wasn't sure if it was the right choice to let them go on their own, but there were pros nearby. He was meant to take out the issues at hand, after all. And so, he sped up, clawing at the ground to the next part of this horrible night.
But it was going to get much worse.

God this was a damn delight..!~
Niso didn't know if he could ask for more! A worshipper of chaos getting to stand and watch as months of containment and struggle was finally unleashed on a mostly unsuspecting city. Even if Ishtar had given the heroes some sort of warning, their limited numbers never could have prepared them to handle a mass outbreak like this without casualties... and even as Niso watched Vigilantes, would be heroes, and students flood the streets to fight back the tide. The chaos rushed on and... god it was just beautiful. He played his part too of course, they couldn't let him out of the fun now could they!
He tried to contrain his own riot frenzy where he could of course. Even as an agent of chaos he had his rules however few, and where he could he made sure that the other criminals abided by them. So whaaaaat if he had to kill a few criminals in the process. What kind of sicko tries to kill a child or grab a girl in the midst of all this mess. Niso didn't care how long you'd been locked up with only your own yankin' hand for company. There were some lines you don't cross in his eyes.
Of course... when it came to the 'no murdering children' rule, there was a pretty early cut off point. As he spotted the students of UA zigging and zagging through the streets trying to play there parts, Niso saw some easy targets to mess with from his vantage points. His Chesire smile creeping up his cheeks and a low chuckle bubbling in his throat. He inched closer to the edge of his current perch, watching a bear of all things rush down along one of the streets. Now if that wasn't a fun target he didn't know what was.
Taking a handful of steps back, Niso hopped in place to psyche himself up, his grin growing wider as he got the idea in his head of what he was about to do. A sharp crack of his neck in either direction and he was rushing to the edge of his rooftop, launching himself off of it with reckless abandon. Perhaps through a sheet happenstance of luck he managed to cut off the bear mid-travel, crashing his full weight into the bear legs first and tumbling across the street like a skimming stone as the rest of his momentum crashed in into a nearby lampost, his hip or some other bone likely shattering in the process, but Niso laughing non stop despite the pain he suffered from such a tactic.
"hhahahaha...HAHAHHAHA! WOOOOO!~" He burst out as he forced himself to his feet, dragging himself up as he put the shattered pieces of his anatomy back together fibre by fibre, his wild expression turned onto the bear he'd likely forced to crash into the street himself, chuckling still as he watched him push to his own feet. "Soooo... I don't recognize you... Vigilante or student...?~"

Despite the best effort of the bear to get back to his bike, it seemed as though that he'd have to deal with something else – as he ran over to the vehicle, Tsuji felt the back of his legs clipped by a harsh force, a slam into the ground. After tumbling to the floor, he turned to see what obstacle had crashed into him, believing it to be some kind of rubble, but upon reveal, it seemed to be a young guy, probably around his own age – yet he didn't recognise them. Perhaps they didn't go to U.A, or maybe... there were supposedly very young villains reported to be active according to most of the news reports, as well as things that he had heard through the grapevine. Getting back to his feet, Tsuji thought best to take precaution, remaining on guard if they tried anything. There were pros around too, just in case this was the type of person he was to look out for. But really, they looked harmless. But surviving a fall like that? Odd, to say the least, but this whole night was odd.
Further look-wise, the guy seemed very skinny, looking like they only intook scraps from the streets, as well as fairly unkempt. They clearly didn't get much sun either from what skin he could see, as he was pale, very pale. As well as all this, from the height they must have dropped from, it would surely have sent them packing right to hospital – but instead, they just got up, laughing, and asking of Tsuji's status. This question was very strange, the general public's view of vigilantes was middling at best, probably not helped by this event, and why ask if they were a student instead of a pro? Surely they'd try to find someone that was known, like Hellhound or Serperior, instead of coming to him. Nevertheless, he couldn't act right away in a way that would seem un-heroic, so Tsuji obliged the question. “My name is Iron Teddy, student at U.A. If you're an escaped villain, or an uncaught one, come quietly, or I will be required to use force!” he said. Best to be more direct, hopefully he could make them see reason if they were a villain, but until he got conformation he couldn't legally attack them. He would wait patiently for a response, and then if the result was positive, then it was time to lay a beatdown, a first time in the field kind.

“Iron Teddy…”
Niso let that name linger on the tongue for a moment… before keeling forward, wrapping his arms about his gut as he set off into a brief fit of giggles. God he had to give it to him, it was original calling yourself TEDDY when you were probably supposed to be an intimidating force to the villains you faced, but all the same Niso couldn’t help but find the cutesy name somewhat hilarious, straightening himself up even as his giggles idly continued under his breath, rubbing a palm across his eye as he got the giggle tears out. “Oh my god you guys are coming up with worse and worse names every day!~ What. The good ones getting taken THAT fast!?~” He chuckled out, recalling a few outlying names from the one sports festival he watched, shaking his head in disbelief at all this in general. “Aaaah… then again I suppose I can’t speak much. I used to go by Pinocchio myself…~”
It was always a delight seeing if people reacted to that these days. He didn’t care much for the most wanted list as a form of ranking, but to know his name was out there, that some people might react sharply upon just hearing his name… that came with a deep sense of satisfaction.
“A student though, out here, fighting the good fight? They must really be getting desperate if they’re calling you to the field… I remember a time they barely even let you lot off campus if they could help it. Tell me, where you there when I spray painted that image of a kid being hung and murdered outside your front gate?~ I’m still kinda proud I managed to pull that one off!~” He chuckled more and more, unable to stop the glee he felt when facing one of those self righteous heroes, especially the un-experienced students who had such lofty ideals and ambitions. Niso sauntered close to him, swaying left and right, a looseness to his motions that almost gave the impression he was dangling from strings rather than supporting his own weight. A few steps in his suddenly broke into a completely separate sense of motion, darting to close the distance and keeping his body unnaturally low, to the point he should have been tripping up from such a misplaced sense of balance. If Tsuji tried to take a swipe to defend themselves, Niso would spring up over their head, his legs like wound coils for a moment, trying to deliver a swift kick to the back of his head. What Niso lacked in pure strength, he made up for with a lack of mercy in the way he struck.

The response came back, very coy, laughing at the name Tsuji had chosen. It was for the people, the public, a name to take and become synonymous with a force of good – something to rely on. It wasn't made to strike fear into people's hearts, that wasn't the point. Everyone deserved a chance – even if they would make it hard for the bear to give one. But he wouldn't be tested, especially not in a situation like this. If he wasn't sure before, he definitely was now – this was an adversary, a definite villain. Pinocchio was a name that had appeared on a public list, noting of the most dangerous villains to the public. The problem was, with a large amount of pros in the area, all doing their part, was he really ready to take on a high level villain by himself? Tsuji could hope that someone could cross his path, one that could help, but until then, he may have to fight it out. He was dispatched to deal with the threat, turning tail now would be a disservice: he'd need to watch his back, though. That profile of Pinocchio was, from what he could remember, rather broad – even though he looked around the same age as the plucky bear, he had committed several unforgivable crimes in his life. Even here, he admitted to the stunt at U.A, where graffiti was placed on the school's campus, and those words: "We found you first". Deep down, despite his burning desire to save lives and befriend everyone, it was hard having to face such a deplorable person.
“Pinocchio, you're coming with me. You're surrounded – there are heroes everywhere. If you're planning to try and scare me, it won't work.” Tsuji said, in spite of the chuckling and attempts at fear through oddity. They were trying to get closer to him, in a very peculiar way, clearly a further attempt to scare him – maybe a by product of his quirk, not publicly known. Tsuji could guess, but probably not accurately. This weird form of walking was quickly interrupted, as Pinocchio burst into a low down sprint, unnaturally close to the floor. He wasn't fast, the bear could tell that much, but he was incredibly mobile. To try and curb this, he prepared himself, getting into a battle stance, and tried for a counter, striking in a diagonal motion towards the floor, in hope of throwing the villain off balance. However, he had leapt upward just as fast as he began to sprint, smacking the back of Tsuji's head with a kick. It wasn't too painful, but still, no matter how durable you are, a kick to the head isn't very nice. Not very perturbed however, the bear turned around, attempting a leg sweep – if that didn't work, and Pinocchio simply hopped over, Tsuji had an uppercut ready, and was fully intending to use it. If he wouldn't come quietly, then he was now authorised to knock him around a bunch, and hopefully change his mind. Or, at the very least, keep him at bay until a pro was on the scene with him.

"Surrounded!? Yeah right!~"
Calling out a response to Iron teddy's threat of his situation, Niso's wild smile remained every present on his face, a piercing look as his eyes grew wider and his pupils seemed to sharen further in turn. The kick he managed to deliver certainly had a satisfying sensation to it. The pain of the blow reverberating back up his own leg but mostly ignored just for the feeling of delivering a hit on one of these would be heroes. He may not have been the most fiersome physically, but when it came to battle like this, it was death by a thousand cuts for Niso's enemies. A battle of attrition where every brow stung more than the last as your body grew weak and tired... and Niso seemed to keep on fighting.
"I wouldn't-" He began, cut off as his attempt to land on his feet came with a sudden sweep of his legs. With a swift flow of motion he managed to just barely fall backwards into a handstand, but Tsuji was quick in turn. A hard fist, likely intended to be an uppercut, slamming into his back and knocking him off his hands, falling into a tumble a few feet away thanks to Tsuji's natural strength, groaning as he rubbed the base of his spine, soft chuckles sounding out in a pained manner.
"I wouldn't... be so sure about me being the one surrounded... hehehehe... I mean... how many criminals have you heroes locked up in Tokyo alone? And here they all are... flooding the streets all over again... angry... vindictive...~ Sure some might be cowards, unable to seize such an opportunity to wreak havoc and fuel the chaos their release hase caused but... You were called in I assume. A student. They're calling in half trained kids like you to try and even the playing field... if anyone's outnumbered, my money is it's the heroes..."
A sharp crack sounded from his spine and Niso yelled out in pain before falling into a maniacle series of chuckles again, wrenching himself to his feet as the brief displacement of his fragile spine was forcefully fixed, muscle fibres latching about his spinal column and popping the loose disk back into place, rising to his feet and glaring down Tsuji. As if to emphasize his point, Tsuji might notice a small but... evident number of individuals watching the fight. Orange jumpsuits on all of them. No more than say a handful, but so many so soon meant there was always a potential for more.
"So... shall we play chicken and see who decides to run first? Cause I warn you... I don't scare easy.~"
Niso rushed in again, his body low like before. He'd swerve out of any initial attack, but this time decided to go low, skidding across the floor and beneath Tsuji's legs entirely. If he tried to trap Niso between his legs, Niso would become... loose, at the attempt, his shoulders dislocating to make it easier to slip through with such momentum behind him already, rising sharply to his feet and popping his right shoulder back into place, latching onto Tsuji from behind and pulling a fully dislocated left arm around his neck, trying to choke him out while using his arm as some form of rope to aid the process, bones loose and slipping through his muscles against the surface of Tsuji's neck as the pressure continued to add on.

The fight was pretty blow for blow, Tsuji having his head kicked and returning the favour with his uppercut to Pinocchio, after he had moved out of the way of the leg sweep. He also interrupted some kind of villainous monologue, which then continued on as they got back on their feet. Talking about the work being pointless, criminals back on the streets, and using students as fodder – it was nothing but trash talk. “It doesn't matter if we're not licensed yet – we're ready to answer the call whenever we can. Whatever gets broken, it can always be fixed. I'm not just ready to put you away: I'm prepared to take everyone I can in, literal numbers aside.” he said, continually ready to battle.
It was at this point, that Pinocchio did speak truth in terms of literal numbers – there was a small crowd building, and they didn't seem like the types to enjoy when a hero won. Escaped convicts, some very clearly grinning at the idea of a fight. Pinocchio stepped back up, with numerous cracking sounds, very painful to the ears of the bear. It sounded inhuman, unlike anything he'd ever heard before. Even worse, the visual was gross – whatever his quirk was, Pinocchio didn't seem to act like your everyday thug. He really was a problem, and Tsuji began to hope a pro was near. “I'm not going anywhere, Pinocchio. I'm not turning tail now!” he said. The villain began to run at him again, even lower this time. Another sweep wouldn't work, so this time, Tsuji jumped up, trying to launch a kick towards the villain from above – however, when he got close, the villain seemingly crawled up him, popping numerous joints and wrapping what seemed to be his arm around the bear's neck. Tsuji grabbed the arm, trying to rip it away, as the villain kept putting more pressure on his throat. It hurt, more than something like rope could, but... why did it work like rope? Could it be that he move his internal stuff around? It was crazy to think of, but it was the only thing he could think of, especially right now. Moving body parts around to make it work like rope, it was a quirk kind of like Feng's springs, in a weird way.
But, if it worked like rope in an offensive way, perhaps it'd work in another. As more parts seeped into the arm and pressed against his throat, Tsuji moved his hands enough, and tried to dig his claws into the arm, using the points to try and grab on to it. From that, he tried to force the arm off, trying to throw Pinocchio off, toward the crowd of criminals. If it worked, he could follow up with a series of blows, Fourth Count style. If it didn't work, he'd keep trying to get the arm off, or at least smack his body away, dealing damage and loosening the grip. He couldn't let himself get pinned this easily, no way.

Niso had to admit, despite the silly name this guy had some fire in him. Or maybe all animal hybrids just had to have a touch of the wild side in ‘em! Niso hissed briefly as the claws dug into his arm, easily penetrating his skin. Despite his quirk Niso seemed to be immensely frail, but that was part of the beauty of it in his eyes. By making himself so easy to break, he was also much easier to fix, using less resources to constantly keep himself JUST healthy enough to be alive without ever worrying about sinking into the depths of the darkness that lay beyond death. He broke and he shattered and he hurt but rebuilt himself quickly enough to be back on his feet in moments, even if that work was always a shoddy mess!
“Surprised they didn’t clip your claws teddy bear…!~ They let you use those in hero training?~ I imagine some criminals might wanna sue if you leave a mark on –THEM!”
His arm wrenched apart with only mild struggle thanks to Niso’s unique hold on his opponent, he was tossed over head towards another group of criminals that had been gathering to watch the show, his body hitting the ground in a short skim, before his body rolled like a tumble weed, limbs seeming to dislocate far too easily as he all but ragdolled, before re-locating at the perfect moment that his tumble ended with him securely coming to a stop on all four limbs, blood seeping into his sleeve from Tsuji’s claws, but a wild look in Niso’s eyes as he just continued to giggle every few moments to cope with the pain.
“Looks like I’m gonna need something a little MORE to handle you with… I mean don’t get me wrong, these battles of attrition are nice… watch you get tired, and exhausted, and weak, and frail… while I keep fighting on like I’ve only just begun… but I’ve got a lot of chaos to get through today and only so many hours in the day!”
He looked over his shoulder, holding out a hand, many of the prisoners behind him older than he was but he spoke with a confident authority as he addressed them. “Which of you has a quirk that can give me a weapon!?~”
The criminals looked between eachother for a moment, some unsure if they wanted to help or just watch this pompous kid get his ass kicked, but as he maintained a confident, sly smile in the face of them staring him down, a woman pushed to the front of the group, tipping her head back and reaching into her mouth. Niso’s eyes widened as she drew a curved dagger from her throat, her quirk effectively being a reverse sword eater. It was a little slimy, and Niso clearly grimaced at taking the handle but… weighing it in his hands, the crude, rugged edged blade, coated in some form of mucus…it’d do.
“Thank you dear… though if you ever meet the Painter, never let her know I used this. She’ll kill us both.~” He offered that advise with a smile before turning his eyes back to Tsuji, his wild expression coming back as he rushed into another attack. This time he knew Tsuji would be expecting his dips and his dives to get behind him, so when Tsuji struck towards him, or heck even when Niso, just got close to the prepared bear, he’d sharply come to a halt, a sharp SNAP as his spine bent backwards, hands touching the ground behind him as he flowed into a grotesquely angled backflip, feet trying to kick at the underside of Tsuji’s chin before coming back down behind him, Niso darting in again to close the distance his backflip made, and trying to strike quick and hard across the throat of the bear, hoping his kicks left his throat wiiiiide open!
(Hope you don’t mind the dagger, settling a precedent for Niso getting crowd help to tear your arm off, assuming you still want that.)

After some struggling, and a strategic change in motion, Tsuji managed to successfully dig his claws into Pinocchio – not very glamorous, but this was life or death at this point. The villain was serious, despite their crazed dialogue and playful demeanour, pushing him to use his claws in such a way he wouldn't have done normally. It worked, however, as his foe cracked a bit, making a worthless jab towards the move. Now, with the proper positioning, Tsuji wrenched the villain off, and tossed him aside, getting distance once again. Waiting for the opportune time, he switched his stance to Fourth Count, ready to lay in body blows to the maniac. The sight of blood coming down Pinocchio's sleeve was worrying – he hadn't hurt someone to the point of severe bleeding before, especially not in a serious fight. Most of his training included sparring, but there was always watchful eyes on both sides, making sure it didn't go too far. This was a whole new experience – something that was rather unnerving to say the least. But the feelings, while not washed away, were sent back, as the bear steeled his resolve for the next move the villain would make.
And it seemed as though that the way this battle was going to go, it was going to escalate, as the freak got up, begging for an advantage from the watchful crowd. At one point, a woman reached into her own mouth, pulling out a disgusting looking weapon, a knife, and handed it off to the villain. It made the bear sick to his stomach: “It won't do you any good, Pinocchio.” said Tsuji. “Attrition or not, I'll fight to my last breath. Ypu're going down - even if you weren't an escapee, I'll make sure to put you away myself.” In response, the expression of the boy was one of madness – he really was going to try and kill him. It was objectively, a scary thought. Dying in the heat of battle wasn't something Tsuji had considered throughout his years at U.A. Now that he was in his last year, and it was going to come to a head the next, could he fight properly, with the might of a hero? The very fact he still thought towards his future, even in the face of a top ranked villain, was answer enough.
Closing his eyes, he exhaled, remembering his past. Images of his friends, family, and triumphs filled his mind, clearing any doubts – it was time to crash through, and make a better tomorrow. His eyes were alive once more, and Tsuji began to rush down to Pinocchio, while they did the same to him. When they were close enough, the bear flung a hook with his right towards him, but once again, he had the advantage of that body quirk. In a flash, the villain was on all fours, and flicked his leg up towards Tsuji's chin, knocking him back. The momentum continued on, as he attempted another, taking advantage of the momentary disorientation, trying to land a swift blow straight to his throat. The foot was so close, but in an instant, Tsuji ducked low, the kick narrowly missing his vital point. It clipped his chin once more, but without the strength behind it, he could counter. He had to. Flashes of his friends came to him again, right in front of him, the energy passing through his whole body. He contracted his left leg, and kicked off with his right, spinning in place, and with a hearty yell, he raised his right arm up, attempting to slam it directly into the center of Pinocchio's head.
“ CRITICAL... BEAST... BLOW!”

As Agile and wormy as Niso could be it wasn’t like he had ultra instinct or anything, and this bear, while perhaps not the fastest of UA’s kids, definitely knew what he was doing, carrying momentum through his motions and managing to return serious counter attacks to the wormy little immortal Niso claimed to be. Still, knowing his own vital points, he wasn’t about to take a fatal blow to the head without at least trying to resist. His arms darted up in the way of his face, taking the blow in a cross arm block, the sensation of Niso’s bones fracturing probably a foreign sensation to the bear that was used to sparring with the other tough nuts of UA, but despite his durability Niso was always an exceptionally, surprisingly even, frail individual. He didn’t get sent ragdolling so much this time though, starting to make himself a little sturdier and digging in his heels to make sure the energy transfer through his body was focused on his legs, rather than potentially his head when it met the pavement after a crash.
“Hmmm… seems a dagger doesn’t quite cut it. Eh?~” He chuckled a little at his own joke and shook his head with a sigh, rolling back his shoulders, hissing a little at the burning pain in his forearms, but his ‘laugh through the pain’ defense mechanism readily kicking in and leaving him in a brief giggle fit before staring Tsuji down again.
“What exactly are you looking to get out of this by the way? The longer we fight the worse you must realize your odds are becoming. “He gestured idly to the criminals gathered around them, they seemed to have reached a ‘peak’. Everytime someone joined to watch the show another criminal dipped out, realizing he probably needed to find a place to hide or perhaps just needed something more engaging to observe, but for at least a moment Niso halted the action all the same to ask. “And don’t give me some grand heroic speech they trained you for in whatever public speaking lessons you get… I want you to realize your odds of dying here are RAPIDLY going up here… so what has you sticking around?~ Come on, be honest. You might actually impress me with how… chaotic, you’re being~” And to Niso, it was chaos. It was part of why he almost respected heroes… playing dress up to save lives with super powers… it was far more interesting and chaotic than normal old law enforcement.~

Tsuji sent the punch as fast and as hard as he could, a final hurrah of sorts – but it didn't seem like it would be able to put a high-tier villain away. He felt the punch land, a connection was made, just not to the intended target. From the feel, and the hardness of the surface his attack, it was a blocked punch, hitting his arm, more than likely in a cross guard. As the body of Pinocchio flew back, he kept his footing, able to maintain a more able-bodied position, much to the dismay of Iron Teddy. He was so sure it was a a powerful blow, but apparently not. A worrying notion, one that made him a little less sure of his victory, but rerouteing that towards hope a pro hero could arrive on the scene soon and give him a boost. Tsuji would still keep up the good fight, but with the criminals around to check out the battle, coming and going, it was discerning to say the least.
That laughter – it was so odd. Some way to intimidate, for sure, but there was something about it, something that was clearly hiding other feelings. Pinocchio kept it going, despite the constant pain he must have been enduring from Tsuji's constant attacks. Instead of acquiescing, coming quietly, he kept asking for answers from him, with questions that were beyond obvious. They were nothing but taunts, ways to get him upset or scared, to cry out in fear for someone to save him – despite him being the one to do the saving. But it was the idea of a certain someone poking him: someone who appeared to be a similar age. Pinocchio was within the range of someone who Tsuji would talk to at school, or an average kid. It sounded like he wanted chaos, well, he sure got it tonight. But why? He should be playing around with friends, doing homework, thinking ahead to a better and brighter future. Not stuck playing villain, causing wanton destruction to public peace. And Tsuji, despite all things, all pre-determined notions, wished to know.
“What do I get out of it, he says. Pinochio – what do you get out of it? I'm fighting for a better future because it's right, because it's decent, and above all, it's kind. But you – you don't want that explanation at all. You'd much rather hear me say something selfish, something to egg you on, make you sound righteous. So instead, I'll pose the same question to you: How come? How come you want to do this? You're young, you could be in school, having fun with friends, going to the movies.” said Tsuji, panting slightly. “Why drop all that and become an enemy to the world? Some kind of cheap thrill? Because you feel obligated to? Tell me, Pinocchio. Tell me that.” Unsure if the villain would even respond to something like that, Tsuji kept his guard up, just in case. If anything, he could have bought himself some time by accident.

Niso scoffed as the question was turned back on him, simply opening his arms as he gestured to the city in chaos around him with a wild smile. “All this of course! I mean god this is like a dream come true! People running rampant in the streets, searching for safe places to hide or just seeking out revenge against the heroes that locked them up or the society that pushed them down and deemed them a criminal cause they dared to use the gifts that made them unique to gain an advantage in life! I get chaos out of this! And I loooooove chaos! I get to literally follow every last one of my heart’s desires because I CHOOSE to. And what do you ACTUALLY get huh? Out of some weird sense of justice people instilled in you since birth? You likely get spat at, literally and verbally. You get hurt and pushed around. You have dickheads living in the past calling you a monster and a freak I’d imagine!” he let out a deeeep sigh but more laced with chuckles than frustration. “And don’t act like you know my options… I spent what could have been a lifetime for someone in my position realizing I didn’t have the choices you say. I don’t have the choice to be a sweet, innocent little kid… not that I’d take it even if I did now.~ I had pain, and I had harshness, and I had cold, and I had numbness… I’m glad you get the choice don’t get me wrong… but even a chaos worshipper like myself has to see sometimes when something was never possible from the start for him. Not that I think you goodie two shoe lot would understand…~”
He let out another relieved sounding groan as he shifted his stance, swaying idly from side to side. “My main option… was to be discarded by that godforsaken place… become a homeless little rat, unable to die as my instincts forced me to survive on scraps and morsels, barely alive, barely aware, hardly even conscious… I just decided I didn’t like that option… so I made up thousands of my own and let me tell ya… I’m enjoying the results.~”
Selfish or not, he did like the teddy bears bravado… but he felt he needed to teach him a lesson at this point. Looking back over his head, he noticed a few criminals who looked a little eager to get in on the fight, and with an upturning gesture from his head, they seemed to get the hint they were invited to join. From Tsuji’s back two jumpsuit wearing goons rushed into the fray, trying to tackle Tsuji and each take one of his arms, wrenching them out of his guard and pulling them open to his sides, Niso stepping a little more slowly towards the lot of them with a wicked smile on his face.
“I mean I sure you must know what it’s like though… I doubt being a bare gives you limitless options in this fucked up world… maybe I should limit your options further… see if you get creative…~”

A straight answer from a villain was something to take with a grain of salt, but from what he'd seen of the tyke, Pinocchio was telling the truth. He didn't care at all, all that mattered was just simple wanton destruction for it's own sake. Of course, something about society pushing people down was also in there, but Tsuji didn't believe a word. The villain wanted choice, freedom, which was all well and good, but this wasn't the kind of freedom that anyone meant. “Anarchy doesn't work, you know. When you've marched your revolution through the streets, how are you going to prevent another?” he said. It was a circle, and it couldn't end. “How are you going to deal with someone else who craves chaos? They’ll come for you too. Understand? You can't just 'win', it's never that simple.” The city was ablaze, people needed safety, the cause of violence for it's own sake, and disguising it as liberation from a system – it was madness.
He tried to put words in Tsuji's mouth too, saying that he was mocked as a mutant. Short-sighted comments wouldn't stand, not in this world. “Listen, Pinocchio. I was born a bear. I've always looked like this. And you know what? It's fine. I've never had anyone come up to me and hurt me for what I look like. People might have done so for you but you have to realise that revenge isn't right. It's just not right. No matter how right you feel, someone will always have a problem.” he said, laying his arms down. He wanted to help the villain, despite his state and ideas. He didn't want to hurt him any more than procedure was meant for. This was changing now, Tsuji just wanted to help the kid.
“You know what to do with that kind of pain? Of being mocked and hurt, not given the same opportunities? The kind that feeds into your so called 'chaos'? You take it, and hold it. And make sure no one will ever feel it. The pain burns, but it can always be treated. That's what I did.” In his mind, Tsuji thought back to that day, what felt like centuries, of when he hurt his friend. It wouldn't happen again, he thought. As he continued to speak, however, he kept failing to notice the assault from behind. “Just try, ok? Just-” Before he could finish, Iron Teddy was grabbed by two people, onlookers of the fight, marked by their bright orange jumpsuits. They were strong, able to push him down, wrangle him to the floor. Tsuji tried kicking up, launching out the grasp, but he was too tired – he flailed around, loosening the grip, but just as he broke, they strapped him down again. Pinocchio began to approach, still with that same walk and inflection of before. “Look, I can help you. This won't change anything, listen to me!” he yelled, seeing the sharp weapon glint in the firelight. “Pinocchio, you don't know what you're doing, just let me help you. And don't you dare say I can't just because I'm here to save the lives of people. Just listen!”

Niso just let out a chuckle as Tsuji tried to dismantle his argument, shaking his head. "Oh god you think this is so much grander than it is! I just want people to do whatever they want! Be kind! Be selfish! Be a hero! Be a villain! I don't care so long as it's what they actually WANT! I want to do all this because it's fun! But so many of you heroes wanna be a hero cause it's the 'right thing'. Not because it's fun. Not because it's what you actually want. Some of you do, I see that eager look in some heroes eyes but not all of you... some of you follow that path because it's just what's 'right' when you have a quirk like you do... as far as the next revolution? I couldn't care less! That's the beauty of it!" He let out a more maniacle chuckle. "I mean if someone wants to rebel against my view thats their right in my eyes and it's my right to destroy them! If they win they win if they lose they lose! The point is the world dosn't just become some stagnant mess with everyone follows the rules into a boring grave! The wheel that turns and turns starts getting replaced over and over as every unique little mind gets their say!"
He let out a long whistful sigh, shaking his head. "But... not like you'd ever care to relate. You have your silly little morals to stick to and you won't flinch from them... I'd almost respect it if it wasn't so retarded."
With the goons now pressing down on his back and pinning his arms down as they shoved him to the floow, Niso crouched down low to still meet Tsuji's eyes. His words went on and on and Niso started to feel an odd rage bubble beneath his skin, though he tried to hold it back somewhat. "You can help me huh? YOu can make sure I don't go to jail for my crimes. That I don't get parted from my love. That I can still live a good and joy filled life as I already do? You can make sure I get the revenge I seek, watching the people who made my life torture die in agony... you can help me with that huh...?~" He teased with a wide smile, reaching under Tsuji's chin as the bear likely bared his fangs, forcing him to maintain eye contact as Niso's smile faded entirely.
"Believe me when I say this. I hold my pain tight. Tighter than you will ever understand... so that I know how to make others feel it at my leisure.~"
He'd rise up off the floor with no joy in his expression anymore but just a solemn glare, pounding his heal into Tsuji's face just once before turning away to look at the crowd. He pointed off to a figure, with chainsaw blades cutting through his limbs and what looked like a chainsaw engine for a face. "You! Take his arm! Leave him for some hero to come find!" He'd grab the blade he'd borrowed and pointed it to the rest of the crowd. "If any of you do any more than that... I know every little rat hole in this city you might try to hide in... and trust me. No matter what you can dish out... I will survive it... and I will make sure you don't.~"
With that, Niso pocketed the borrowed dagger and turned to walk away. The goon he'd picked stepped forward cautiously, nattering of sharp teeth, unclear if he was able to communicate back with his mutation but... he seemed to understand at least. The blades cutting through his forearms whirred to life with a shift of his limbs, and he drew closer to the grounded bear, the goons on his back shifting to expose one of his shoulders.

The ideals of freedom were all well and good, but the villain simply took those beliefs too far. Without order, the world would turn into an endless insane pile of hate and fire – and Pinocchio wanted to be the bringer of it. He was truly insane. But Tsuji was pinned to the floor, unable to stop him further. It was painful, hearing these harsh words delivered in such a matter-of-fact tone, he genuinely thought like that – all the student wanted to do was help him, prove to him that the world was more than what he had, he could offer rehabilitation, but he wasn't taking any of it. The villain met at his level, looking right at him, while Tsuji kept struggling to break free. Speaking of what he wanted. He could help, but not with all them, granted. The bear was stuck, too tired to respond, and unwillingly to dignify the villain with something, anything that would strive away from his goals.
Smacking his heel into his face, Pinocchio left the scene, but not before egging on another crook, released from the prison riot. The one thing Tsuji was concerned about was getting too beat up, but now that was going to change. Never in his life did he feel more upset, more fearful, than in loss of something on his body, for real, no joke, actually going to lose one of his limbs. He struggled more, grunting and panting, trying to break free, as he could do nothing but watch as Pinocchio sauntered away into the city, unable to be caught. If a pro hero was nearby, it'd sincerely help, still holding out hope even in this, the direst situation imaginable. Behind him, what sounded like a chainsaw revved into gear, and the goons started to wrestle less with him, but more with his arm, holding it down. As a result, the right side of his body was free, but in his struggling, he was simply too tired to do anything with it. He raised his arm up slightly, trying to push himself up, but simply to no avail.
Slowly but surely, sparks began to fly closer to his face, the warmth of the spinning blade getting closer and closer to the top half of his left arm. Tsuji couldn't help himself but be forced to look, one of the criminals twisting his head around towards the impending damage. The speed at which the saw moved started to shift his fur around, like a helicopter's blades forcing the grass to split away. But eventually, it had to happen. The saw reached down to his appendage, and began to cut, slicing through with an extreme amount of effort. All he could do was scream, as cartilage and muscle began to tear, contracting to try and build up a defence that couldn't fight back, the blade removing the nerves in his very bone. The resulting energy and building of adrenaline pumped round what remained of Tsuji's body, as blood poured out of the centre of pain, spilling onto the street like silvery wine. With this adrenaline build up, Tsuji managed to build up enough strength, finally to be able to counter, but the deed was already done – as he kicked up off the floor, there lay his left arm, covered in blood and muscle, while his stump bled profusely onto his outfit.
Almost as quickly as it came however, Tsuji was rapidly losing his ability, and fell to his knees. The criminals escaped, running into the flames of Tokyo, leaving the bear alone, losing blood, and may even lose his life. Using what spare energy he had left, he crawled back to his bike, where he had been trying to get to this whole time, and took his phone from a compartment on it. He opened the UA chat channel, and sent out a brief message for help. Taking some material, and by that, he meant ripping it from his hero suit's leg, he wrapped it around his stump, droplets of blood still coming through, painting the side of his bike. All he could do was wait for backup, while the criminals got away. Mixing with the claret was one single tear. He failed to capture a villain.
But that family he helped would have gotten to safety. It wasn't for nought. It never could be.
