Naturally, this thug's words pissed off the boy, though he did his very best not to let the anger show. It was important to calm down. Ignore this son of a bitch. He's just trying to get to me. Still, upon hearing that asshole talk about his family like that, Kenshin wished to wipe the smile off this prick's face. Fortunately, his Saber Shockwave Strike was able to do just that. Well, that and take care of the maggots, to the boy's immense relief.
But it was not all good news. Those maggots really did a number on Kenshin. He felt weaker and more sluggish than usual. Even moving around proved to be a challenge. It was annoying, but the boy needed to do whatever he could to endure the pain and weakness. Focus... on the mission... at hand....
But then the maggot guy began to bitch some more and... Ah, hell no! It was not hard for Kenshin to imagine what the thug was about to do next. The last thing the boy wanted or needed were more maggots slowing him down. "Like I'll let you!" It was best to try and end things quickly. The sooner this guy was taken care of, the better.
So it was time to attack. With a burst of speed, Kenshin shot towards the thug. Seeing as his body felt too weak and heavy for any advanced maneuvers, the boy would have to settle for just lunging forward in a straight line. Hopefully, this would be fast enough that the thug would not expect the boy to move at this speed, and thus not have much time to react. Once Kenshin got close enough, his goal was to swing his sword at the thug, smashing his face with the blunt part of the blade and hopefully knock the guy out.
Seeing as his earlier attack was enough to kill those maggots, Kenshin was not too worried about those things right now. His main concern was whether he could take the maggot guy out before more maggots could be spawned. After all, why try to destroy mere puppets when it was wiser to take out the puppet master? But of course, there was always the chance that maggot guy could be tougher than he lets on. If that's the case, then Kenshin wanted to be careful. One mistake was all it would take for everything to go to shit.
That was why he did not want to take any chances. Best to try and finish this fight quickly.

As James barraged his fists towards Rook he felt one of them clip the mans hip but only felt cold, hard steel as the rest of his hits collided with Rooks baton. He watched as Rook suddenly appeared 10 feet away from James as he attempted his leg sweep and clicked his tongue in frustration
"Seriously, is running away the most you can do? I thought you were meant to be the big leagues, but so far, I'm really not all that impressed," James taunted "But you take one tiny hit and run away, should we take a quick break so your mummy can come kiss it better?" James said with a defiant smirk on his face.
Then Rook briefly disappeared again and reappeared closer to James on his left side and James could tell he was gearing up for another attack. As soon as Rook disappeared for the second time James anticipated an attack coming from his left side and swung a lightning charged punch towards that side. As he started swinging he saw Rook's leg coming towards him and decided to aim the punch towards his leg to deflect the blow and hopefully cause some damage to Rooks leg, hopefully since Rook was moving so fast he wouldn't have had much time to avoid or block the attack fully.

Don't be a baby, you came here to do something. Not bring everyone in danger. This is why she should do this, she shouldn't have shot that arrow, she should focus on what she could do and in this case, that was clearly running away. She did manage to swallow her scream as she ran down the stairs, stumbling over the last step as she was a very clumsy woman in general. This fight was definitely not helping, she was going to fall, crash her head and be... she shuddered while hurrying on to the next room. Could she bring down a beam, a door, anything really? How was she going to tackle this problem?! She could not help but let out a yelp when he bellowed into the room after her. The sound of wind, everything it was just scary. God she could not hit him with her arrows, she could not do anything because nothing would work. Getting a good kickboxing kick in would just bring her close to him and that would suck her into that swirling vortex he was and: panic. Her mind did not make any sense anymore, she should get in a next room, get out and barricade the door.
She lowered herself, hunched down when he yelled at her that he got her. She wouldn't run fast enough, not compared to how fast he was. Putting her hands to her ears and closing her eyes but nothing happened and she peeked. She yelped again when she was moved to the other side of the room by his force of wind and she looked at what happened, G... G came to her rescue. She should pay him that in return and get out of here. She moved on hands and knees, trying to avoid the biggest hit of wind till she got to the next door and managed to wiggle herself (yes for being darn skinny) through a small piece of the door into the next room. No wind, for a few seconds but a person near the window that she did not know. To be fair, she didn't know a lot of people here but the people closest to her she all knew. Elena, James, Kenshin and G. She quickly grabbed an arrow and pointed at the woman... wait a second, but that woman was outside. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" She yelled at her, still arrow ready, would she launch it? That was a mistake last time. This was technically her building, she could show off that authority, but she was sure she had seen this woman's twin sister, very very identical outside when she shot at Deimos... what the heck?

Goliath - DeimosDeimos enters a brawl with Goliath, clearly struggling. He is slower than the isopod. But Goliaths’ attacks, despite the strength and speed behind them, barely faze the tall man. They trade blows, Deimos focused on prodding Goliath’s defenses, wearing him down. Eventually, Goliath’s water sword, which Deimos couldn’t safely block, cut him deep across his right shoulder. He doesn’t yell or cry out in pain, but instead unleashes a furious and devastating blow to Goliath’s exposed underarm, sending the creature careening away towards James and Rook. Kenshin - Larva KingIt looked like it wouldn’t be good for Kenshin. The maggots poking from the Larva King’s scalp were big, gross and wiggly, one even made a soft screeching sound as it came out into the air. The man laughed maniacally, thinking Kenshin defeated as his creature’s crippling spit had destroyed his mobility. But Kenshin persevered - struggling through the pain and the ache to deliver a crushing strike to Larva King’s jaw. The man stumbled backwards and readied a responding punch, but the dazed look in his eye and the way he collapsed, unconscious, in front of Kenshin. The maggots, those that remained anyway, were stunned by their host’s defeat and quickly shrivelled up and died as the shell of held-up rainwater crashed on top of them all. Now Kenshin, having defeated his foe, was free to assist his friends!! James - RookRook’s kick, trained and precise, whirled toward James’ back. Luckily, while the lad couldn’t compete with Rook’s bursts of speed, these moments of relative sluggishness was more… manageable. His countering punch reduced the impact significantly and Rook’s leg shot back and swung around him in some kind of ballet twirl from the hit before he dashed away again with a flash of lightning. “God fucking damnit…” Snarling at James from a comfy distance, who still took a good chunk of damage from the kick, Rook brushed his suit down and glared hard. Once again he took a couple steps to his left or right, circling James, searching for the right angle of attack. Left and right. Left and right. Like the rook on a chessboard. Eying up his opponent. Looking for an opening. A predator, ready to seize his meal at the first mistake. Hanako - ??As Hanako escaped, dodging through the rooms she knew well. Supercell was well-distracted by Striker, the former acting too cautious of the creature’s sharp blades to approach and attack. Instead he threw abusive words at the summon - as if that’d affect it. Supercell whipped and slid across walls using his slippery flight-powers, sending waves of air to keep Striker at a distance. But when Hanako finally stopped running, in a room overlooking the fights outside, she spotted a woman. A woman that looked weirdly like the ones beating on her husband. Wearing the exact same clothes, staring intently out the window. An arrow nocked, Hanako demanded the woman’s identity and intentions. It made the woman jump out of her skin with a high yelp. Then spinning around, brandishing a short knife. Surprised anger was interrupted by fear, seeing the arrow aimed at her. “Shit…” She tossed the knife aside. The attractive face was creased with focus and she, this odd woman, kept glancing out the window while backing away from Hanako with her hands up. Then her expression turned pathetic, tears breaking from her eyes. “Please… They made me do this! They threatened my daughter!” All the while, sneaking little looks out the window and squinting her eyes, as if trying very very hard to look at something very very small. G - Multi PalAnd for G. Well, G would experience something rather interesting. If and whenever he attacked a Multi Pal, it would be like striking rubber that instantly reformed. A slash across the face wouldn’t even make them bleed, a simple cut that wriggled momentarily before becoming good as new. Each girl, with their makeshift weapons, beat down on G in coordinated unison. He was attacked from every direction, his knees and abdomen and his shoulder and his head. Luckily for him, they weren’t the strongest physically - many of the hits could be shrugged off, but in this number, they were a true threat to his life! That is, until suddenly, all of the women started to violently pulsate - wobbling like a long road on a hot sunny day. Like a haze… Or a mirage. The women didn’t react to the weirdness at first, but it’s obvious that it was very bad for them. As one of them swung at G with a pipe, their arm slopped off from the shoulder and splattered onto the ground like a drop from a melting ice cream. She looked confused at first, then horrified, before her entire body collapsed upon itself and rippled out in a splash of colourful goo. The others noticed and gasped in unison, turning their attention up and above G’s head, to one of the windows. The one G could hear Hanako’s voice coming from...
Tl;dr:- Deimos is beating the crap of out Goliath, but Deimos overwhelms him with a furious hit! Deimos takes C-rank damage from the water sword! - Larva King is finally downed by Kenshin’s decisive blow! Kenshin is now free to assist. - Supercell is still distracted by Striker. (Thanks d20.) - Multi Pal’s secret/quirk is revealed (to you guys at least)! Hanako faces a tricksy foe! - Rook is a chess pun. - Elena’s still… kinda just laying in the rain… Might wanna help her before she dies!
The posting order is as follows: - Kelo

- Hanako - Rosey
Deimos | Durability discovered! Strength: C Speed: D Durability: B Quirk: Deimos, after looking into the eyes of someone that had been nearby him for at least one post, subjects them to unconsciously experiencing their deepest, darkest fears.
| Supercell | Strength: D Speed: D (C) Durability: F Quirk: Supercell can transform his lower body and allow himself to fly at great speeds (C-rank Flight). He can also cause strong winds to blow in his general vicinity (Wind Generation)
| Rook | Quirk fully discovered! Checkmate! Strength: D Speed: D (A) Durability: ? Quirk: Rook is somehow capable of moving with almost imperceptible speed (A-rank Speed). Rook is only capable of travelling this way in an exact straight line; either the direction his body is turned, or its inverse. He may only dash short distances (up to 10 meters).
| Multi Pal | Quirk discovered! Multi Pal! Strength: ? Speed: ? Durability: ? Quirk: By concentrating very hard, the user can create up to three exact clones of themself. The clones are capable of independent thought and movement, but are overall controlled by the original, who can telepathically order their clones from a short distance away. The clones are immune to all forms of damage, physical or otherwise, as they are formed from a mixture of mercury and ink, which the user produces through sweat. If the user loses concentration, the clones begin to degrade before disappearing unless concentration is re-established.
| Larva King | Larva King is UNCONSCIOUS!! Strength: E Speed: D Durability: D Quirk: Larva King is able to summon dozens of tiny maggots from the exposed parts of his skin. These maggots then immediately begin to digest surfaces they land on. Applying the Weakness & Cripple ailments at E-rank! Each maggot has E-rank durability!!

Goliath and Deimos brawl. Goliath is faster. But despite all that, Deimos is barely phased. One attack though got to him. Goliath water sword managed to stab Deimos in the shoulder, and yet this guy didnt react. Instead he dealt a powerful blow that made Goliath be sent back. Observing his surroundings, Goliath saw James and Rook. With Rook being focused on James. Goliath took the chance to try and injure Rook with his sword. Slashing at Rooks back
Meanwhile with Striker, he was flying at Supercell who threw powerful winds at the praying mantis. Striker wasnt having any progress. The wind was too strong, and the bug just managed to not be repelled by the wind. Thus it is flying in place and trying to slash Supercell. But to no avail
G meanwhile dealt with Multi Pal. Those mystery girls. But what felt strange was that... they were like rubber. Not human. They felt like clones at best. He doubted the real person was hiding here. He made sure to slash and hit every girl present here. They dont bleed, they just wriggled eerily momentarily before becoming good as new. And then the girls would attack from everywhere, every direction. They hit him everywhere, luckily for him they hit like little girls.
But then something happened. All the girls started to pulsate and wobbling like a long road on a hot sunny day. They didn’t react to the weirdness at first, but it’s obvious that it was very bad for them. G looked in the same direction, he could hear Hanako’s voice coming from there.
Using this moment of reprieve he dashed away. Towards that window, towards the sound of Hana's voice.

Kenshin was finding it more and more difficult to ignore the aches and pains. Stupid maggots! But it seemed as though that annoyance was over. The boy smiled, seeing his opponent taken down by his strike. Serves you right, asshole. Now with the multitude of criminals Kenshin had fought in the past, with many of them having all kinds of quirks, there was a small part of him hoping that his symptoms would go away now that the master of the maggots was finally taken care of. But no luck. Even with the maggots all shriveled up and dead, even with their master knocked out, the symptoms persisted. Oh well. Kenshin already suspected that things would not be that simple. All the boy could do now was try his best to ignore the aches and pains until they finally did go away.
However, even with his foe defeated, that did not mean that Kenshin would take the time to rest. Perhaps one of the others could use some assistance. Even if he was not yet feeling at his absolute best yet, the boy could still move and fight. And as long as it was possible for him to do that, there was no way he could stop to rest. So the boy began to look around the area. Alright, let's see if anyone needs my help.
And that was when he noticed someone lying on the ground. Ah, shit!
Now Kenshin was not as well acquainted with Elena as G was. The boy knew little about the woman other than the fact that she spoke Spanish, could turn into fire, and was very damn good at making delicious food. But there was one thing he was absolutely sure of about her. She was strong. One of the strongest members of the Storm Knights. He never got to have a spar with her, so Kenshin could only make a guess at exactly how strong that would be. But from what he had seen of Blue Blitz, he knew that she was not one to be defeated so easily. She would never be taken down by a common thug.
So to see her on the ground like that...
"Blue Blitz!" It did not matter how much it hurt. It did not matter how weakened the maggots made him feel. Seeing a comrade like that, there was nothing that would stop Kenshin from rushing over to the fallen lady as fast as his speed would allow him.
"Hey! Blitz! Oi!" Upon getting closer, Kenshin noticed just how bad she looked. Damn, what the hell happened? Who the hell did this to her? Kenshin clenched his fist and grit his teeth in anger. Whoever the fuck did this... You son of a bitch! But now was no time to think about just how much Kenshin wanted to beat the ever living crap out of the piece of shit that made the Spanish lady end up like this. She needed help. Now!
"Hey, it's gonna be fine. I'm here. Are you alright? What happened? Which son of a bitch did this to you?" Okay, maybe Kenshin was not the absolute best at comforting and reassuring people. But damn it, at least he was trying his best here! "You need help getting up? Here, grab on to me if you want. Let's get you someplace safer." If Elena let him, Kenshin would of course help his comrade up.
Either way, the boy would remain close to her, keeping his armor on in case of attack. Seeing what these scumbags were capable of, Kenshin would not find it unreasonable to assume that one of the goons would notice Elena and try to take advantage of her condition to try and attack her. If that did happen, then the boy was more than ready to show those idiots how catastrophic of a mistake that would be. Anyone who messes with his comrades, his friends, his family, anyone that the boy cares about, would be shown no mercy.

- i'm the only fire that can live through the rain -
In a sounder mind, Elena may have decided that vomiting was already unpleasant enough when one wasn't currently paralyzed. Or maybe it was because she wasn't really in a sound mind at the moment that that thought even came to her. Her focus was coming back to her though. Little twitches of her finger tips. The steam that came off of her skin lessened as her Quirk cooled, and the pain and shock faded. Or it should have. She still felt too heavy, too cold, and everything sounded like she was hearing it through deep water. Not rainfall--just water. Like she was drowning in it.
Her eyes focused on a blurry red-garbed figure approaching her. Why was it so hard to see? Ah. Blinking would probably help get the rain out of her eyes wouldn't it.
Red Edge?
The kid. Next to Yui, he was the youngest person she knew. Why he was with a team of vigilantes instead of in school, she had never asked, but it ate at her for the same reasons it had when Yui dropped out. At their age they had a choice. Why not take the smart one? That wasn't important now, though. He was talking to her. Was the fight still happening? She thought she had been out for hours. But if this was still going at full swing it couldn't have been more than a minute, tops.
It had felt so real.
When Kenshin tried--bless him--to help her up, the response to his hand anywhere on her body was sudden and visceral. Heat welled up under his hand for a split second before she jerked herself away, pushing herself onto her own elbows, while her head hung low enough for her wet hair to shroud her face. "No. NO. No lo..." her voice came out in a rasping, cold bite. Touch. Anyone touching her made her feel that touch. That man--no, that slime's touch. Even if it had only been in her head, even if it hadn't been her body that was violated, the phantom feelings wouldn't stop going over her arms and legs and chest and throat and--
Él está tratando de ayudar.
No. No me toques. No lo hagas...
She had to force words out before more bile tried to get out first. "...the big...guy. His Quirk. Don't. Don't let him look anyone in the eyes. It. It fucks you up. Bad."
Elena wanted to shout that out. She couldn't see with her hair like this. Who was he closest to? What exactly did his Quirk do? Trap you in a nightmare? Was he the source of it? No. Unless he knew who she was, and knew who she'd been, he would have no reason to show her that, or even to know of that bastard's existence. It had to be a nightmare of the person it was used on. And it had been so--
If. If that was used on her, and she hadn't been paralyzed when she'd woken up, and had still been able to summon flames...Red Edge's hand could have been charcoal right now. It was pure luck (if she could even dare to consider that luck) that she was unable to summon flames right now. But. If that Quirk hit somebody who wouldn't be unable to fire off their power after coming out of something so traumatic...
She remember being in the shipyard, when Hanako had been hurt. When Elena had gone off on G, and he'd been so furious that Goliath had nearly killed those villains.
What would happen if something worse got to him? Or Haywire? Hell, even to--
Was that Hanako's voice cutting over the rain?
Dios mío.
"Don't let him meet their eyes. I'm..." Quiero acurrucarme y morir. "...I can't fight right now. I need to get out of the rain. Or." Forgoing any help to the point of slapping any offered hands away Elena pulled herself up against whatever was closest to her, which wound up being a short pile of sheet metal. "Find my bat. But. You go help them." Elena swayed. She was not going to be able to swing a bat or throw a punch or even ignite until she got some manner of balance back. Even going slowly, she felt her stomach lurching again but it didn't hit the back of her throat. She took a look at the pile of sheet metal supporting her weight.
The top piece was too wet, but the sheet below it wasn't. She slid her hand under it, slowly feeling her skin heat up. It didn't take too long before she felt the thick, burning feeling of molten lead or tin or whatever this metal sheet was made from beginning to coat her hand. She wrapped her fingers around a clump of it, like it were a ball of wet clay, and drew her hand out. It was her Quirk alone that was keeping her skin from scalding in this condition. Elena looked over the fighting ground. Demios looks distracted by Goliath. A small smile grew on Elena's face.
It was anything but heroic.
"New plan. Cover me for a second."
She couldn't break into a run, not with her legs like this, but her slow pace quickened as she felt energy returning to her. It didn't feel like adrenaline. She was familiar with that rush, and with the crash that followed it. There was something else that made her lose the feeling of pain in her skin when the rain hit it. Something that helped to steady her feet--or numbed her to the point that she hardly noticed if she were stumbling. She went right for Demios, running up on his wide open flank as he blasted Goliath away from him. She'd have one shot at this.
Siempre ve por los ojos. Aprendí mi lección una vez.
Gracias por recordármelo, hijo de puta.
When she was in range, Elena swung her arm right for Demios' head from behind his towering form, and brought a fist full of molten metal over his eyes, and pressed down against them to hold it there so it could seep into the sockets, if not deeper.

James reeled from the force of Rook's kick and still took damage even after intercepting it Well that wasn't exactly how I pictured that going he thought to himself as he took a moment after seeing Rook moved away from him If I wanna beat him I've gotta figure out how that speed of his work, what's been a common thread all the time he's used that speed boost he thought to himself for a moment before it clicked in his brain and he couldn't help but chuckle a bit, wincing a little as the laughter caused his already damaged body to hurt more.
"So, am I still out of my league here, seems like you weren't expecting me to react like that were you? Oh and also," he'd say with a smug smile "I've figured out your secret," James said "I know how your speed works and I've gotta say, now that I've seen through it, it's not that scary anymore," he'd say as he would wait for an opening in Rook's circling and back up a few meters out of what he believed to be Rook's approximate range but still within James' range. Then he noticed Goliath sailing towards them and realized he was going to take a swing at Rook so James decided to keep Rook distracted by defending and not leaving any openings for Rook, forcing him to wait longer and hopefully giving Goliath the opportunity to attack. If Goliath's attack went through James would shoot lightning at Rook to try and get a pincer attack in. On the off chance Rook noticed Goliath's attempted attack James would keep tracking Rook and attempt to hit him while he's distracted by Goliath's attempted attack

Hanako kept the aim at the woman and squinted her eyes at her. She noticed the tossing of the knife, okay... but that did not make Hanako trust her or feel like she was having the upper hand over this. For F sake they were everywhere, weren't they? She could still hear Striker and Supercell. She should move further away but she had seen this woman outside and that woman was fighting G. If she could do anything useful instead of being a bother to the Storm Knights, she would do so. Hanako was tired of being the stupid one, the quirkless one, which was why she had started the training of this bow and arrow combination. "Then stop whatever you are doing." She snapped at the woman who cried about her daughter. Hanako understood the fear after all the Plutocracy had tracked down G at Shinagawa and taken him away from her so fast that she could not even blink. They had a son and the man outside had called out that her son would be an orphan if he was done today. She understood very well the dangers of this job and those people, but she had also noticed the woman's eyes drifting off to the window again and she lost her arrow very closely next to the woman's face. On the side of the window.
"One last warning. So step away from the window. If you let me, we could help you with your daughter." That was high and mighty talk but if Elena could get G back under the nose of the plutocracy and in front of Thundershock, they could probably do something else as well. Hanako obviously couldn't speak for everyone, but now was not the time to doubt herself and so on. She took a deep breath and took another arrow from the quiver as she did not trust this woman at all, but that was just a simple precaution. She had no idea G was on his way to her and she again tried to convince herself that if she could get the woman away from the window, she would be a little bit stronger in this fight, she wouldn't make matters worse. She kept her eyes on her, how would she fare in such a decision? She had no idea how the plutocracy worked and it felt like a dangerous thing to wager the life of your kid. But she as a mother would do anything for another mother, if only she dared to believe everything at once?

DeimosDeimos doubled over as his opponent span through the air, crashing to the ground not far away. He grasped his injured side and took this time to breathe. This wasn’t supposed to be like this. He stood to height and surveyed the scene in time to watch Larva King be crushed by the one in red armour, who then dashed off, probably to help the woman he’d discarded. Multi Pal was struggling too, he saw a clone dribble and collapse, so she was probably getting pressured. Rook was practically fencing with some kid and God knows what Supercell was doing. This was supposed to be easy. A simple sweep through. They should’ve brought more guys. If she were here, this would’ve been over by now… But no. They were losing. They were really losing to these idiots. Deimos hoped Phobos or Fury were having more luck, because this had become an uphill battle. James - RookThis kid was turning out to be more trouble than he was worth. Rook considered just getting away from this fight to team up on some other unfortunate loser, but this guy was really pissing him off. Apparently, he knew Rook’s secret - so he figured out his quirk? Thankfully, that rarely mattered, Rook’s speed was so incredible that predicting his dashes was almost impossible. But as James moved out of Rook’s range, he tutted and tried to skirmish with him, get him back into range, in asskicking distance. When suddenly, a heavy crunch from behind alerted Rook to the arrival of Goliath, who must’ve been thrown here by the boss. “Shit!” Rook prepared his baton and tried to dash away, but Goliath was immediately on the attack. A sweep with that sword would’ve been enough to take him down, but Rook deftly ducked beneath it and dashed out and back in to press his own offensive against the isopod. Annoyingly, the kid was back, tanking and blocking every punch and kick and swing Rook could manage, acting like a meat shield. This gave Goliath enough space to finally land a punishing haymaker to Rook’s jaw. The red-haired man dashed away in response to the pain, then dashed away again and again, leaving him 30 meters away from Goliath and James, holding a dislocated jaw. This was really bad. Rook spat out a mix of blood and a tooth and tried to reconstitute himself. If Goliath or James went at him again, he’d dash far out of their reach - straining himself to keep using his quirk at this point. Hanako & G - ??The strange woman was glancing out the window when Hanako loosed her arrow. It flew past her face, taking a few strands of hair and lodging deep into the opposite wall with a loud thunk. She let out a frightful warble and shot her hands high into the air, eyes turning to Hanako’s, where they clashed. Her eyes were an odd, clay colour and held more tricksy determination than her terrified expression revealed. With tense slowness, she stepped away from the window and, all at once, the Multi Pal clones outside experienced horror before collapsing in on themselves. “You’ve got to believe me.” she stared, now much more focused and aware of her current situation. “The guys out there are evil. They killed my boyfriend and they said they’ll kill my daughter if I didn’t come help them out…” She smiled weakly, tears streaming down a pale face. The curls of syrup-coloured hair clinging to the sweaty visage. “I’m not the bad guy here…” With a nervous laugh, the woman backed away to the far wall, hands up at all times. Just as G entered through the window, the woman gulped - as she was identical to the clones he was just fighting and taking a beating from. “N-No hard feelings… right?”Elena - DeimosDeimos was a moment from calling out a retreat. Rook had been repelled, Multi Pal neutralised and Supercell was still distracted or some shit. But this was still winnable. Gabriel was the target, the head of the snake. If Deimos could use his quirk on G, this battle would turn in their favour. Yes. That was the plan. Deimos started moving on the warehouse, to enact his plan, to defeat Gabriel in a fell swoop, just as he’d intended from the beginning. Footsteps alerted him to someone coming up from behind, but he couldn’t react fast enough to stop Elena from swerving a hand of molten metal directly into his face, covering his eyes. He immediately screamed at the agony, his body seizing powerfully and clawing at Elena’s hand to try to get it off him. The tin quickly set to his face after melting away swathes of the skin and fat layers - some even fused to the bone of his jaw - a hideous smell of burning flesh came over his and Elena’s private space. Deimos swung a wild elbow into Elena’s head, finally detaching her from him, but the damage was done. A shimmering, dripping, uneven coat of silvery metal was quickly hardening and the pain forced Deimos to collapse onto all fours. His screaming died down a bit as he thrashed his head about to get some of the metal off him, his fingers scooped any remaining liquid from the injury. He let out a blubbering cry, silver beads binding part of his lips and setting into his dark, curly chest hair. Elena would see Deimos lift his face to look at her. Blood soaked everywhere below his nose and there was a hard shell of tin over his eyes, though a small pinprick of space remained where his right eye remained. Animalistic growls rumbled from him, but as he reached out to Elena with unrealistic hatred and murderous intent in the one eye she could see, Deimos collapsed, the pain finally took its toll. Deimos of the Plutocracy, so brutally defeated. Well… He kinda deserved it. SupercellFinally, Supercell has managed to beat Striker, using his strong winds to force the beast hard into the floor and then used his Superior Weight Technique to crush him with an epic belly flop. Trust me, you should’ve been there to see it. That’s when Supercell heard his leader’s cries and instinctively burst through the wall of the warehouse, hovering over the scene with a horrified expression. Multi Pal were mere goop puddles on the ground. Larva King was unconscious and getting rained on like a little bitch. Rook was being handily pushed back by the other bug and another vigilante. And Deimos. Deimos’ face shined as sunlight broke through the clouds above. They were defeated? Deimos’ elites were defeated? Supercell considered his place for a moment before glaring with determination. He swooped down from the sky, making sure to use his winds to blast away any fool close to Deimos before scooping his giant boss from the ground. “You may have won this battle, Storm Knights, but two more rage around your home! We will remember this! You will never be without our ire!!” He shouted, letting out an ironically triumphant laugh as he spiralled high into the air and started flying away with Deimos. Rook heard and saw the whole thing and, with a deep sigh, readied his body. “I’ll remember you, kid. This ain’t over.” Rook’s hair gradually raised and sparks of electricity broke from the exposed parts of his skin and between his teeth as he spoke. Another, much larger flash of light like from his previous dashes, blinded James for just a moment. When the light died down, he and Goliath were alone, as Rook had disappeared, leaving a barely noticeable trail of burnt stone beneath his largest and most impressive dash of all.
So where does that leave our ‘heroes’? Well, one of their foes lies unconscious on the ground. One has supposedly surrendered to G and Hanako. Other than that, the combat has ended and the rush and fear of life and death has come to an end. Trauma and injuries now come to life, fully realised, fully real. Now they might recover themselves, talk, figure out what to do with those that remain. Such is the way of life.
Tl;dr:- Deimos is defeated by a critical blow dealt by Elena!!!!!! He will remember that.- The woman controlling Multi Pal has seemingly surrendered and is at the mercy of the Storm Knights. - Supercell manages to escape with Deimos! This isn’t the end of their story! - Rook uses Queen’s Rook to escape! This isn’t the end of their story! - The fight ends in the Storm Knight’s victory!! Congratulations!!

- i'm the only fire that can live through the rain -
It smelled disgusting.
Elena knew what burning skin smelled like from one too many accidents when her Quirk had been young and uncontrollable, both to herself and to others. It was a scent she couldn't forget. Right above it was the smell of burning hair--that was even less pleasant that skin, and made her insides churn. Nothing was as bad as burning hair, at least in her opinion. But this was a new one, and it came close. Melting metal against skin, against fat, against delicate organs that took much less than molten tin to irreparably damage. It was different, even if its roots were the same.
When she was knocked aside, she noticed that he had clawed up her arm, nails having dug hard enough into her skin that they were now aglow in faint blue flame; like he had scratched away a bit of paint that covered a window, letting the light bleed in from outside. She also registered that his elbow colliding with her head had knocked her to the ground again, but this time she managed to catch herself on her side, hands keeping her up. The metal still on her skin was starting to harden as her heat died, the continuous falling rain continuing to take its toll on her body. She looked up.
She didn't meet his eyes this time.
But...
Ah.
He was bleeding so badly. His face was fucked up. He sounded like he was sobbing, but the way he reached for her and what little of his expression she could make out beneath the blood and metal was--
Before that train of thought reached its station, or his hand could reach her, he fell.
Cold started filling Elena's body from the crown of her head, down her spine, into her muscles and into her core and around her throat. Was he...was he breathing? She couldn't tell, or tell her body to move to get closer to check. She'd been so furious, so hateful, so full of fire and fury that she hadn't thought about what she was doing. She had just wanted him to hurt. She wanted him to hurt for what he'd done to her. She'd wanted him to burn. She couldn't remember a time before--not even to the man who had been the center of her nightmare--that she had felt so hateful. So...
Was he dead? Could something like that kill somebody? Trauma was a thing. Shock. Shock could totally kill somebody. Or she could have gotten the tin into his blood. That could have done something. Clogged up a vein in his brain with molten metal.
Had she killed him?
Que he hecho?
Qué demonios he hecho?
Maté a alguien? No, no, incluso una escoria como él no...
Solo quería que le doliera. Solo quería que le doliera tanto como a mí.
No quería matarlo.
No quiero matar a nadie.
Dios, oh Dios mío, no no no...!
"Is he--" --breathing?
The sentence wasn't completed, because Elena lost what little of her was still able of keeping conscious with the sudden sharp drop of heat in her body. She lay on her side again, holding onto awareness just long enough to curl up into herself, a poor attempt to protect most of herself from the rain, and then everything went away.
Again.
But at least it stayed away this time.

He ran and ran. To the building and to Hana. He arrived in the nick of time only to hear the woman say "N-No hard feelings… right?" he didnt question anything. He just charged in, out for blood and payback and he punched her in the cheek, knocking her down on the ground. "HAH!! SEE HOW YOU LIKE THAT!!!" he said and spat down, while placing one foot on her for triumph.
He then looked at Hana asking "Did that bitch hurt you?" since to G, the girl or rather her clones brought nothing but pain to him. He had no idea she's the victim nor anything. He just saw red, and didnt want her to hurt Hana.
In other news Striker got poofed and crushed. Man you should've been there. Greyish green smoke go poof.
Back to Hana and G, they heard the sound of Deimos crying in pain. G looked through the window at the battlefield to see the chaos and to see the view the original Multi Pal had. All in all, it was a victory for Storm Knights. G looked down at the original Multi Pal and told her "You're gonna be our prisoner of war now!" he said in a threatening tone
Meanwhile Goliath and James worked together to defeat Goliath. But as Deimos was defeated. Supercell woved that they'll be back or whatever, took Deimos and left. And with that Rook escaped with a flash. And with that, they won. They all won. Goliath walked over to James and placed his clawed hand on the boys shoulder. As a peace sign of a job well done. But that moment of calamity lasted for only a second, a moment as Goliath soon picked up James and started to throw him up in the air over and over so they can celebrate. Hip hip hurrah and all that stuff
Back to G, he is facing Hana and asking her. "Is it finally over?"

Elena's reaction was both surprising and worrying to Kenshin. Just what the hell happened? The boy felt the heat, knew that he might, no, would have been burned had he not hesitated. Not that being burned would have stopped the reckless boy from wanting to help the lady anyway. But it was clear that she either didn't need or didn't want his help. Respecting her wishes, Kenshin backed off and let her get up on her own.
Still, this is very concerning. Just what the hell happened to make her like this?
And then he heard the answer. That bastard! So his quirk apparently did something fucked up when eye contact was made. Kenshin wanted to know just what it was that prick could do. After all, it was always good to get as much details as possible. But seeing how Elena was right now, Kenshin doubted that she would want to relive whatever happened to her. Plus, the boy was not tactless enough to ask someone who clearly went through some sort of trauma to go back and describe such hell.
"Alright, so all we gotta do is kick his ass hard while not letting him look anyone in the eye." Most likely easier said than done, but it was not like that would be enough to stop Kenshin from trying. He was determined to make this asshole and his goons pay for screwing with the Storm Knights. They were not just fellow vigilantes to the boy. They were comrades. Friends. Almost like a second family, only a lot more dysfunctional at times.
But it was not a matter as simple as just charging in and beating the asshole to a bloody pulp. Elena did not seem like she was in any condition to fight. It was best to help her get inside. Well, more like make sure she could walk herself out of the rain and make sure no one tried to be an opportunist and attack the weakened lady. Her safety needed to be assured first. Then the boy could go and fight.
However, it soon became clear that Elena had other plans. Kenshin looked over to Elena to see just what it was she had planned. His eyes fell on the molten lump of metal in her hand, and...
...oh.
Yeah, this was a no-brainer. It was clear what Elena was intending to do. Now normally, Kenshin would rush in and protest this idea. It was reckless, dangerous, definitely overboard. The boy's honorable nature would never allow him to let someone do something so horrid and cruel. But this was different. Seeing just what kind of people they were dealing with, seeing just what that shithead did to Elena, Kenshin only had one thought in his mind.
Make that prick suffer!
Okay, two thoughts in his mind. ...Just please, don't go too crazy.
Nodding at Elena's words, Kenshin walked close by to cover her in case any of the goons noticed and tried to intervene. But luckily, there would be no need to worry. Elena's attack went off without a hitch. The guy got what was coming to him. The boy almost felt tempted to gloat and laugh at the guy's suffering. But Kenshin was not cruel. He found no joy in the suffering of another, even one as horrid as that man. The screaming, sizzling, and smell of burning flesh and fat only made Kenshin want to vomit. He managed to avoid doing so, but it was very close.
Don't look... Don't... look... Oh god, that smell!
It was brutal. Words were not enough to describe it. How would anyone other than a sadist take pleasure in something like this? Again, Kenshin felt no pity for the man. He came in here, threatened G and his family, had his goons attack everyone, and mentally brutalized Elena. He got what he deserved, there was no room for doubt on that. But still, it did not stop Kenshin from being shocked by the brutality of it. He could not even look at the man. He did not want to.
But it was clear that Elena's plan did the trick. The bastard had fallen. The battle was over. The Storm Knights were victorious. Hearing one of the goons speak out loud, Kenshin turned his head to look at the sight of the goon escaping with the brutally beaten man. Kenshin could not help but yell out loud at the fleeing assholes. "YEAH, YOU PIECES OF SHIT BETTER RUN!"
The boy's eyes then moved back to Elena, and then he became horrified at what happened next. After hearing her ask if the man was... well, she never got to finish that sentence as she then collapsed, but it was clear that she was wondering if her attack had killed the man. Now Kenshin wished that he had seen the man more thoroughly. It would have been horrifying to see his molten and bloody face, but at least Kenshin would have been able to check him. Surely the man was still alive. Unconscious for sure. There was no way that he had died, right?
That was a question to save for later, however. Right now, all Kenshin could think about was getting help for the lady as quickly as possible. "Shit! Blue Blitz! Hey! You alright?!" Nope, she was unconscious. Frantically, Kenshin went over to pick her up and carefully carry her inside. She needed help right away! It was good that the boy's hands weren't burning and melting away right now. But with how worried he was given Elena's condition, he couldn't care less if he did have to worry about burns. Was it a reckless way of thinking? Yes. But did the boy give a shit about that? Of course not.
Sorry about this. I know you probably don't want me touching you and carrying you inside, but I'd much rather help you get to safety so you could yell at me about it after you wake up. You will be okay. Just hold on!
Speaking of injuries, it seemed as though the symptoms caused by those maggots from earlier were beginning to clear up. Not that the boy would notice with how busy he was trying to carefully carry his unconscious teammate inside. Kenshin didn't care about his own injuries. Compared to the unconscious lady, he was more than fine.
As Kenshin went inside the building and carefully and gently set down Elena on the floor, he noticed G and Hanako. There was also someone there Kenshin did not recognize. Probably a goon. Whatever, the boy did not care about whoever that was or what G or the others decided to do with them. They didn't matter nearly as much. Right now, he just wanted to get Elena help.
"Oi! She's unconscious! What should I do?!"
Kenshin was no healer. He was a warrior, a fighter. Tending to wounds and injuries was beyond his expertise. What the hell could he do in this situation? He was hoping Hanako or G would know what to do. Call for an ambulance? That seemed extremely obvious, but it also seemed extremely risky to call anyone here to a vigilante base. It was better to play it safe and let those who knew what to do help Elena. Whatever they thought was best, Kenshin would trust their judgment and go with their suggestions.

She could not hold her little yelp back, "No, no wait, she said she was being held hostage and have to do this for her kid, we have to help her." She held G and pulled him back to her by his left arm. "No she didn't, you did to her. I mean she did hurt you more that was her quirk, I think, they look identical." She made sure to check him over and pull him with her to the other end of the room after making sure that she put the Multi Pal woman was stable and had something underneath her head and she would hurry back to G and check for his wounds and bruises. "Stop doing that, we have to figure out if she speaks the truth and if we can rescue her, isn't that your job?" She looked at him, pulling him back down against her and she tried to patch up as much as she could from the wounds and just hold him for a second. Thank god he was okay, thank god they were okay and Kai would be fine and have his parents. She heard it too the fact that it was over and that Deimos or whatever was leaving.
She held on to G as softly as she could but she was so happy and relieved that's until she heard Kenshin. "I have to go." With her big blue eyes she stared at G and kissed him, "Keep an eye on this one but don't hurt her." She commanded before hurrying down the stairs from the first floor to get to Elena in the middle of that room. "Good you got her out of the rain." She checked Elena's pulse, which did not feel very good and she got worried and a frown on her face. They should keep her warm and make sure she wouldn't fall back too far in the unconsciousness. She knew only a bit about all the stuff as her first aid training was quite good but just something difficult to consider. "We need her to go to the hospital." She looked around to make a made-up stretcher and she found some poles and her jacket and the hoodie from G to make for the middle part. "Let's try to get her a little away from this, not too far, I don't want her to get hurt." But she had to protect the location right. "Hold on Elena." They would first call, make sure to know a time indication and then move her so she wouldn't be outside for long.
She told G to also look after James and so on, but it was just this and she had to do her very best.

...Two days later... Hospital machines beeped around a dark-skinned man laying in a bed. Bronze sunlight brushed along his body. A rainbow hung in the sky outside. It had been a day and a night since the attack on the Storm Knight warehouse. The failed assault. Nightmares flashed in his mind, troubling his rest. Ironically, the fear he felt was all too real. Cold sweat chilled his body, not even the summer breeze could warm the icy grip on his heart. A flash of searing heat against his skin roused him with a start. Breathing rapidly, the man couldn’t see much of the room he was in, it was all red and blurry. The scent of brimstone choked his first breath. His heart sunk through the bed. Soft mutterings replaced any feeling of cold with panicked heat. His eye scanned around, trying desperately to make sense of his surroundings. The mutters were interrupted constantly by the sound of an old butane lighter coming on and off. Inside, he hoped a fire had started in his room, or a volcano had erupted and was destroying Japan. Either would be better than what was here in the room with him right now. When the man finally recognised her shape, she was sitting on the back of one of those uncomfortable hospital chairs right beside the bed, leaning over. She wore a black hoodie so big it was like a dress and its hood hid all but the bottom of her jaw and a stray strand of brown hair. Her mutterings, as they usually were, were spoken in Chinese - which the man didn’t understand. Against his sense of self-preservation, the man tried to speak to her. It hurt to speak, so much so his first words were more ached whistles than parts of a sentence. “-doing here?” Her response was silence. She stopped flicking on the lighter too. He felt her eyes on him, like pokers digging at his chest. Eventually, she spoke just loud enough for him to barely hear. “You messed up.”Deimos’ heart skipped. “They were… stronger than I thought.” She said nothing. “I’m sorry-” He was the one being interrupted by the flicking of the lighter this time. Deimos used this time to try to work out just how badly he messed up. The last thing he remembered was a lot of pain in his face and some woman with white hair. Slowly, it all came back to him. The attack on the Storm Knights, the giant bug, his men being defeated… Blue Blitz… the metal? Deimos tried to reach up but found his hands were bound to the bed with heavy-duty straps. The attempt caused the flicking to stop. “They hurt your face.” She muttered. The hoodie shifted a bit. All Deimos could see was a shadowy hand with fingers ending in points, reaching over and touching his face. He couldn’t feel a thing. “Your pretty face…” Her nails tapped on something hard, Deimos could feel something sharp prick his chin; so he could feel some of his face. “Bēishāng de xiǎo gǒu.” The muscled man’s dry throat gulped when the sharp thing scratched it. “What did they do to you?”“There was… a woman…Blue Blitz, fighting with them… she used flames… She… Melted something and put it to my face…” A trill of airy giggles followed from the girl, her claws dragged along Deimos’ cheek, the slight squeal of scraping metal sounding in his skull and making his head pound. “That explains this…” Deimos tried to continue, though the anxiety pushed him to his native tongue. “Perdoa-me… Por favor…” He could barely see the shimmer of rubies within the hood, reminding him of their meeting. His quirk had crippled giants before; reduced monsters to quivering children. At first, he thought she was simply immune. But no. When faced with her greatest, deepest fears; this girl merely laughed. “The bug cut deep, but the blue flames were too intense for even your training…” Her caresses ceased and the mutterings ceased. “Blue flames?”“Yes.”The rubies grew to gleaming stars, he felt her heat on his entire being, melting away skin and bone and soul under their intense gaze. Her terrible grin haunted his dreams. “You’re saying there is someone who burns blue, xiǎo gǒu?” Her hand seized him and lifted his body by the throat. Deimos thrashed meekly as he choked. Her voice rose, her tone was excited and anxious. The machine by his bed beeped rapidly. “Don’t lie to me. You’re not lying to me, are you?” Deimos tossed his head left and right. “Bl-! -itz! Name is! -rike! Elena!” She let go, giving Deimos the precious air again, he gasped it down. A moment passed as his leader sat back in her chair and began muttering again, this time her rant coated in delirious laughter. Deimos had no choice but to listen to her excitedly contemplate the idea of such a person as Elena Strike. The door opened. God had granted him meagre mercy. A nurse poked her head inside and said in Japanese: “Visiting hours are over, miss. I’ll have to ask you to leave if you would be so kind.” The girl stood from the chair, her height always astonished him. How could one so powerful be so small? She turned and began to walk out, the nurse waiting patiently. Before leaving, the girl turned back to Deimos and said, in the sweetest little voice: “Stay and rest, uncle. I’ll go visit auntie, see if there’s anything I can do to help.” The lights let him see her face; see that wide smile; see those bright eyes; see that hideous desire behind them. The nurse complimented the girl on her maturity and kindness. Deimos grunted in affirmation, finally being able to breathe again as that girl left him. He remembered how it felt to meet eyes with the Devil.
