So this was unexpected but in hind sight an inevidability, it seemed there was a prison break and there was a chance for her to help evacuate civilians. Jess was not going to pass this up. This was what she was bred and carefully trained for her entire life, the blood inside her itched to prove it's worth on the battlefield and a true smile split her face as she rode up to the scene in one of the drivers from the Estate's vehicles. It would not do to show up weakened before a battle began after all, no that would be most useless. Stepping out of the back door of the vehicle Jess adjusted her dark blue jumpsuit and summoned up Black Hole Sun upon her face as she was certain Quirk use would be authorized in this event. This mask was rather special in that her summon actually had an MP3 player and while the doll lacked a mouth, it had ears and those could be filled with music while telepathically pipping it to Jess' mind to allow music to play in it while she could hear perfectly. This mask covered the rest of her head aside from slits for the eyes, for breathing and also holes for her eyes the black allowing her to focus her vision and fix her attention to the physical world around her a grounding technique that combined with the music put her on full alert allowing her to push her every skill and sense to their limits. " In Your Words" Jess would softly say as she walked forward loosening her muscles and spotting where the edge of the situation was and where a crowd had gathered. It appeared as though some comotion was coming from there and the people who had probably gone to the edge to see for themselves what was happening were now running away from the scene. Something had curdled their curiosity more than just seeing distant violence, no, a villain probably just broke free and came this way to escape from the Prison if the Polish girl had to bet on anything. The blood began to race in her body propelled by the summon that dwelt within it but also carnal excitement at doing something she had been conditioned to enjoy to do. A battle and not another hero or even a vigilante in sight! This was her chance, her golden ticket, the itch would be scratched and she would do good and to do good would thus make her a good girl deserving of love. Thus was the Slavic female's thought process as she came to thirty meters away from the massing throng of bodies which seemed to surround a couple vehicles that seemed to be police cruisers but there were too many people between her and the objects to be certain. Perhaps if her senses extended that far she could determine this all much easier but she would need to get closer and sprinting in would be foolish so she kept up her walking pace, not hearing any gun shots or screams of pain but lots of shouting. With tall buildings lining either side of the forty meter wide clearing which included street and both sidewalk which was filled not only with people trying to push past each other to get away but also the normal things one would expect in a red light district. This could end up turning into quite the disaster if things took a turn for the worse as Jess knew could happen at the drop of a hat, it would not be a good start to her time here if things went south. This being the case most of the stops would be pulled out and her body would move in the most efficient and precise of ways that only someone with that much body work, fight training, and ability to actually feel the exact place of her body without need for mirrors. All this combined together to make her extremely good at close quarters combat and while she would struggle a bit with someone at ranged for now she still had surprised for such opponents who underestimated her. Her black painted nails would clench into her fists covered by the black finger less gloves that she wore upon them, whoever this person was would not get any mercy from her if they were trying to take someone hostage or hurt anyone. They should have tried to go for a less populated route where they could have slipped away unseen, unfelt and unnoticed and gotten some semblance of freedom depending on the crime they went in there for. Instead they had fucked up royal, they were getting in between Jess and her peaceful life, they were threatening her very foundation that she had build her new way of living upon. There would be no emotions for them other than the cold fire of rage forged by the fear of loss that allowed one to focus on their objective and hyper plan for it, seemingly calculating faster than they normally could. In this state Jess existed within the seven meters around her, everything within the range felt like an extension of her body itself and the fleeing civilians every micro movement would register within her synapses as the environment and it's perception overtook the conscious thought and most of Jess' brain supplemented by the mind of her summon which also brought his senses in through her head and allowed the physical brain space to hold things to be perceived without being overwhelmed. A well oiled machine that could be broken apart with a gear removed from it, but for that they would need to remove her summon from her very face itself. The duo were truly symbiotic unlike most of the Summoners she had met here save one, and it was time to showcase exactly what the pair could do because of it. [ WC: 1015 ] |

Ndeye's encounter with Shuichi had not been a fiscally productive one; in the end, her quarry had escaped her, meaning she'd have no bounty to show for it. The battle, however, was well worth the effort. The Senegalese fighter found herself thinking that she'd been misguided to begin with... This wasn't a time to seek opportunities as a criminal for cash, but rather, a time to seek out the most powerful in the city and challenge them during the chaos. Really, the adrenaline had gone to her head... it would be smarter to find a place to hold out while her arms fully regenerated. As it stood, her arms were still covered in a caking of her own blood, raw from the attacks she'd absorbed earlier. Her black athletic wear showed the rigors of her previous battle; it had become ripped in several places, showing off even more of her intense, dark musculature than usual.
A villain looking to make money during the breakout could find a lot of opportunities. For a villain who just wanted to make themselves such a nuisance that heroes and lawmen were forced to respond, the opportunities were almost endless. Ndeye felt like a kid in a candy store, skulking her way through alleys full of fleeing civilians. Still, no reason to pop the cork too early. For best results, she ought to find just the right hero in action and begin an attack. All of them were acting on their instincts as heroes right now, which meant the city was absolutely crawling with them.
The woman had meant to become a nuisance that would draw a powerful hero to the scene, but she hadn't intended to garner quite the level of publicity she ended up gathering.
After emerging from a certain alleyway, she'd come face to face with the police, who were attempting to direct the panicking citizens of Japan through the street by barricading certain routes with their patrol cars and safety cones. In her experience, there was no better way for one to ward off the flies that were conventional policemen and call out heroes than to prove that conventional methods were of no consequence to oneself. Eager to prove that truism, Ndeye armored up both of her arms with thick, glistening black scales, flecked with amber- a somewhat painful maneuver, given how much she'd already used her technique in her fight with Shuichi. The pain caused her to see red, which in turn, motivated her bloodlust. With a blind craving for battle, the woman grabbed hold of the front of one cop car, creating a loud noise of creaking metal.
When one policeman turned to investigate the noise, he was greeted with the sight of a patrol car being swung around like a blunt weapon.
The force of the attack sent the officer flying across the street to hit hard against the wall of one of the buildings on the opposite side. Ndeye could give the remaining officers time to draw their weapons, to make it a fair fight, but she wasn't interested in spending all day on policemen. Instead, she swung the vehicle again and released it this time, sending it rolling not on the power of its engine, but the force of the swing. It careened into another group of two, while the remaining policemen withdrew and began to radio in the incident. "Weak Japanese police... All you can do is rely upon your guns! If you would train your quirks, you would not be in this predicament." She spat upon the pavement. This wasn't the first time she'd been disappointed in Japan's law enforcement... To think, this nation was crawling with some of the most powerful quirkers in the world, and the police deliberately handicapped themselves by rejecting such applicants within their own forces. This brain-dead policy made her work a lot easier than it might otherwise be.
Of course, she wasn't impervious to guns. Shuichi had proven that. Eager to cease further resistance, she moved towards the remaining officers and bashed her fists together with a rocky, pulverizing sound, sending shivers up her own arms and creating sparks like two stones rubbing. "Bring out a hero! Do not stand in my way!" Ndeye commanded, raising her voice.
The police didn't have the power to "bring out a hero," at least not on command like she was asking. Luckily, one was coming to respond to the incident anyways, it seemed... Jess had no way of knowing Ndeye wasn't involved in the prison break any further than using it as an opportunity, but at this point, it would barely register. After all, the villain known as Calibar was a criminal engaging in reckless endangerment and violence, no matter her reason.
It wasn't hard to spot Jess, moving against the crowd rather than with it and standing shoulders above the rest. Ndeye's eyes widened and an uncharacteristic grin spread across her thick lips. Where had Japan been hiding this hero? She never would have guessed that Jess was a student of only fifteen years old... That body of hers looked to be housing muscles comparable to Ndeye's own! Finally, an opponent who didn't rely just on their quirk and neglect their muscle training! In fact, with Jess wearing that mask, Ndeye couldn't even discern her opponent's gender easily.
Ndeye spread both arms and smirked; the motion looked to convey that she was bidding Jess to survey the damage she'd caused. "You look upon the villain, Calibar! How will you respond, hero? If you wish to disappoint me and run, do it now, and I will finish taking out my frustrations on these officers." It seemed she intended to let Jess take a shot at her; it was a move full of overconfidence, in a society that housed people capable of firing acid and laser beams. Of course, if she was thinking only with logic and towards her best itnerests, she wouldn't have engaged a bunch of policemen for no money or profit in the first place.
For the average opponent, both Jess and Ndeye could ask for nothing better than a close-range battle. In this case, however, it remained to be seen if the likely would come to pass: that both would underestimate their opponent's abilities at that range.

Jess' eyes were wide with horror as she tried to navigate her way through the crowd without injuring or even bowling over any of the smaller civilians, but this dedication to others comfort may have just resulted in three police officers dying in front of her. Was it truly worth this? She should have just screamed and charged through regardless of what the school thought, for if she had they would NOT have been injured. The pain inside those crimson orbs of the silver haired woman was hidden under the mask of her summon's doll body which rested upon her face, a jet black shield to ward off her weakness not from her enemy but those that would now be looking to her to be a sturdy defense against the beast before them. As Jess crossed the threshold for her sixth sense she would stop as the other Quirk blessed being spoke, the other winner of the genetic lottery would make it quite clear that just fighting her would prevent further bloodshed for as long as Jess survived the encounter. This would be terms that the student could find acceptable even if her teachers and the school's system itself would scream for her to focus on NOT fighting. That was not an option here, the fleeing and trying to protect the crowd would simply give this Calibar time to focus their attacks on the people in the crowd Jess was not near. As such the way to prevent damage was engage directly, the Polish girl was hoping that by obeying the spirit of the orders she would not get in as much trouble. " You be of taking frustration out on me now" Jess said as the other loop of music played, her brain able to make sense of every sensory input thanks to focusing her summon on only resting upon her face. While that would hinder her using his body as the distraction it was so oft used as in a tussle, it would allow her to feel every movement this other woman would make with her sixth sense. While not exactly privy to the other's move sets they had already displayed strength and from their actions probably had a more durable disposition, was able to regenerate akin to herself or even worse, both. Worse yet was if this other person was not using their full speed before as it was the only thing that the Slavic woman even could hope to have the edge on the other. This seemed like a hardened criminal or villain and while Jess had a lot of experience as a child it was simply not the same as life experience of an adult in an adult's world. As such really there was only one thing to do, bluff. Kicking off with one foot that would bring her in a diagonal on the clock from where she was at 12, with Calibar at 6, to 9. The distance would morph again so she was just on the edge of the divining range of her sixth sense so she could feel the others moves but it was also done at Jess' full speed. With the arm that was on the opposite side of the villains' view Jess would jab behind her own back as she ran sending a blast of air pressure the size of her rather large fist going toward's the other woman's left rib cage at the angle it was sent at. The whole process was rather quick and Jess would fall back into a fighting stance as she analyzed how her foe reacted to the quick and sudden movements and repositioning. The way that she would react would allow the Polish student a glimpse into the mind and fighting style of her dance partner for the evening. While against most foes Jess could rely on trading blow for blow, from the way that woman swung that Police Cruiser around she found that a very poor idea and instead opted for something people rarely expected of her, agility and ranged shenanigans. While most would have found being near the crumbled police cruiser the other person had thrown as disconcerting, Jess knew that using a little environmental hazards could easily help even a playing field.
