The sun beamed brightly in the sky, the clock on Luna's phone striking exactly noon as she walked into the shopping district of Musutafu. The earthquake earlier that morning had given the dog girl quite the scare but she didn't want to let it ruin her plans. In fact, she had read on the internet that the earthquake had an origin around this place? Maybe that meant she shouldn't be here in case of aftershocks but considering a good few hours had passed it was probably okay.
She was once again wearing her casual outfit so that she wouldn't overheat in the sun of this May afternoon. While she liked her cozy training gear, it definitely wasn't good to go running in. Of course, that was why she was out here after all. She always went for afternoon runs on the weekends when she could manage the time for it.
Luna stopped by a grocery store to get a water, knowing full well that she would need to hydrate since she had the same endurance as a normal human despite her higher top speeds. She slowly uncapped the bottle and took a sip. She found a relatively open spot of sidewalk and stretched for the next step of her pre-run ritual, letting her body get nice and prepared.
She dropped down into a runners stance, and counted down the seconds as they passed in her head. It was like a clock ticking down, and when it reached zero she pushed off and started to run. She made sure not to use her top speed, that would probably be considered Quirk use outside of school grounds, so instead she just maintained a casual quirkless running speed.
The air brushed through her hair as she ran, letting her cool off naturally alongside the exercise routine. It all felt so natural, that her eyes eventually closed on themselves as she reached a state of calm. Despite this, her ears twitched at the sound of a skateboard right in front of her. It seemed that her calmness led itself to poor decision making, though. She was already clear to entirely evade whoever this was, but instead she'd maneuver her way into the skateboards path almost as if she was trying to avoid it but only managing to collide instead.
With a crash, she tumbled over and her eyes flew open as she realized her mistake. "Whoa!" she screamed out as she toppled over on the sidewalk. This was her fault, and she felt terrible for it as she pushed herself up off of the pavement letting out a few pained sounds before shaking her head, turning to whoever it was she had knocked over.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me!" she'd apologize quickly, not even giving herself the opportunity to look at whoever it was that she even pushed over. She felt like a silly dog now, ready to be scolded as her ears folded down on the top of her head. She was half expecting to be hit for causing trouble, but she would just brace herself nonetheless.
