He was waiting, his mind mingling, managing too many things at once. He was kind of mad and he was going to break a few rules. But he rather apologized than asking for permission. What... the hell because he was going to definitely smack this traitor into jail. He would do that, fix his own stuff. His mind was making five solid plans, but he would first have to wait. "What time is it?" He muttered, for a man like Takeo Hoshizuki, time went always relatively slow and he did not like it. But he had plans for today and this whole issue with the blue prints had brought issues that were not part of today. Well at least there would be a hero student around, not entirely like he planned to work today but it would be fine. If the young man wanted to work here, seriously Takeo hoped because he could use some new people around in the labs, it would only mean that he would have to show the boy immediately how he worked and how his days would look like. Hoshizuki was a wary man, many things could happen in a day that were not on his list but that was because he thought of too many new things when he just woke up and that was just something his people had to deal with. That's what they were hired for but it surely was interesting to think about. Takeo finally stopped pacing, though mentally he still was and dropped himself in one of the chairs in the lobby. "Why are our chairs so horrible, put that on the list, I want new ones." He told the receptionist before he picked up the newspaper, "And a coffee!" Because he was impatient, technically he should already be on the run, "Oh and Nemu-san take one yourself but can you also call for the car to be here. I can drive myself." Though he normally did not like to drive, he wanted to not be too extravagant for the internship. It just gave him a headache to worry about all the others and see situations that did not happen, his brain really confused him at those moments but he could deal with it. Besides it would be faster that way. He spread out the newspapers in front of him, old fashioned as he liked and would read the headliners while folding it back and still holding it up while he leaned back in the horrid chair. He would keep his ears open for the door and would wait for the high heeled steps from Nemu to bring him his coffee. He hoped he would be an okay mentor, he had not told some of his friends but the most important ones always had known that he wanted to help the new generation to be interested in engineering and make new items, and that was also the future of his company, not just work with the government in the old fashioned way. "Yojin Hino. Hm." He muttered to the news paper and thanked Nemu when he noticed she put the coffee next to him and walked away again to fix his other request. Well he would see how this would go, he lowered the paper by moving it to the left as he checked his watch. Still on time obviously but he was already so much further in his plan to research the issue. Would that fall under hero training? It was providing a sort of support right? Hm, he would see, he needed to tackle the problem anyway.

Yojin didn’t need a damn internship. He already had his hands full with classes, damage control, the Plutocracy, and Ishtar. It wasn’t like he was going to learn much, anyway. Sure, there were tons of engineers out there with more experience than him, but none with his quirk. What could a CEO teach him that he couldn’t learn in a textbook or online? Business management? Yojin had no desire to learn from a leech. What was the point of running his own company if he was just going to exploit his workers and customers like every other big name out there.
But he couldn’t explain that to Hachi. And it sounded so childish when he said it out-loud to Chimera or Angie, like he was being petulant by saying the truth. Or like he was insecure about his own skills. He wasn’t either of those. Just realistic.
Yojin hadn’t been able to figure out how to properly refuse, though, so he’d been forced to take one. Bleak options, all around. ASTA was a ball of snakes--Yojin had a thousand reasons not to trust their CEO. Meanwhile, interning with the PSC was dangerous. The less attention he had from them, the better. So that left a medical internship, or Hoshizuki Industries.
In the end, Yojin decided putting up with some corporate suit was better than embarrassing himself in the field of medicine. So Hoshizuki it was.
He arrived on the day of the internship on time. Not early--not with how tired he was every morning, and not late--he didn’t want to start on a wrong foot, even if he didn’t need his new boss to like him. Just on time. That was one of the best things about Tokyo. The trains ran on time.
Yojin tried not to fidget as he entered the building, showed his UA ID, and boarded the elevator to meet with the CEO. All of these corporate buildings were made for show. To “wow” investors and employees, intimidate people into signing stupid contracts. It was working. He could feel his nerves jangling in his throat, making it hard to swallow sips of the steaming cup of coffee in his hand. It was his second cup. Being nervous was better than falling asleep on day one. He focused on the seams of the elevator, pressing his hand against the shiny chrome wall, reaching out with his quirk so he could feel the pulleys working to haul him up, the massive counterweight on the other side. It was weirdly soothing.
His face stared back at him in the chrome wall. Amber eyes, ringed with giant dark circles. Hair messy, died blond, like a delinquent. That wasn’t going to win him points, he was sure. He hadn’t been about to change it, though. His work would prove his worth. Still, he had forced himself to wear a neat, ironed school uniform, neat, pressed, grey with green accents, sharp and formal, a stark contrast to his battered, patched canvas background. It felt strange wearing his uniform like this--the collar felt choking. It didn’t pay to make things more difficult for himself, though.
He didn’t need approval.
He swallowed, forcing himself to think of his father, to see his father’s eyes in the reflection. He needed money. That was all. One more year, then he graduated, and could make Damage Control legitimate.
Just needed to keep his head down.
The doors chimed open, and Yojin made his way down the hall to the office he’d been instructed to go to, tapping on each door as he passed. It was another strange tick, another result of his nerves. A salaryman gave him an odd look as they passed each other and Yojin stopped, flushing.
Finally, he found the correct door, knocked, and opened.
There was a young man sitting in the office on the other side. Tousled black hair. Attractive. Yojin still wasn’t great at noticing if people were attractive or not (outside of Angie), but the man was definitely attractive, with a face, and a body, like a model. Casual. Hip. Informal. It reminded him a little bit of Orlov-sensei, but less “forced.” A college student, maybe? Or a secretary?
Well. Huh. Didn’t think your tastes ran that way, Hoshizuki.
Yojin frowned at the unnecessary middleman to his internship, looking around to see if he could spot another door in the room or something, one that lead to his actual boss. Then, remembering his manners, he bowed, introducing himself.
“Good morning. I’m Hino Yojin, the UA student. I was told to meet with Takeo Hoshizuki here?” He said, forcing himself not to mumble. He still sounded a bit flat. He forced himself to meet the young man’s eyes, and realized, with a start, they were golden--the same shade as his father’s, and his own.
A long lost relative? He looks somehow familiar.

Takeo mumbled a few words more before he tossed the newspaper on the coffee table in front of him. "You know Nemu, just take the afternoon off, alright? I will send you a message when I am back and then I despearately need you to keep me in check." He teased to her but she knew that, it was nice to be just able to do whatever he wanted to do, so to say. He sometimes just missed his old man. With a sigh he went to sit back on the uncomfortable chairs and played with his phone before he put it in his pocket too. He looked up when the door opened, ah, his U.A. Student. He couldn't help but smile and stood up when the introduction was done, "Ah nicely on time, Hino-kun. I see you already got yourself a coffee." And thus he smiled at Nemu and she bowed and left the room quickly. "You found me, but I am afraid our internship day will be a little bit different. I will show you around later today, if you don't mind. I mean I can imagine it might be rather dull, but, adventures are waiting." He took the last sip of his own coffee, during his introduction he had picked up the cup and now put it down again. "Someone stole my blue prints and..." He could not help but trail a bit on the silence part, "Let's just say we don't want anyone to make the things on the blue print." Again he was not sure if the student was allowed to do this but he just had to make sure Yojin Hino was okay with doing so. "I am only not the best detective, but I thought about going to my employees house and see if they still have the prints, I hightly doubt it. In the mean time we could maybe have a bit of a chitchat on well other things than blue prints, alright?" Serioulsy he was a bit of a goofy man in cases like this, his own activity and his mind which was racing around in where the prints could be and how fast they could be sold and in the wrong hands, had made this matter different. He wished his mind stopped racing, he still had to drive after all, and he didn't want a headache. This was just too much in one day and he should hire people for this, but he didn't want his jackals to get too far, no, there was no need for them yet. He brushed his hair aside and walked towards Hino-kun as he still was near the door, "Unless you have any better plans of course. But this sounds like the most fun. I heard you were a tech student, I am really interested in your creations." He simply did assume the boy made some, why wouldn't you and why else apply to his company. Takeo really didn't think there wouldn't be any better options after all.
