Now that the incident of Semper Fi has been more than a year ago, I think it's highly time to point out again what is happening and what to think about it. I can hear you ask basically: why now? Well why not? First there is the military fighting and taking quirkers hostage. There were children held captive as well and now we are going to a quirk tax? Does our government not learn from their own mistakes?
What we need is clear, we need a new government. Completely, revolution and all. We need people that stop being scared and narrow-minded and come up with a solution that both the quirkless and quirkers could agree with.
"But that's so difficult!"
Is it? Seriously? I think we could all use the respect, screw the discrimination and I don't think that should be difficult from the government's perspective. How about no discrimination for quirk or quirkless on jobs, or you know, no extra taxes for something you were born with? But right let me explain to you, dear reader what the military did (not all of them but quite a bunch) to the people who joined the military demonstration of Semper Fi in 2072.
One of the first incidents that I became aware of was a form of medical demonstration of a wicked doctor in the labs or you could easily say dungeon of the military building. Not only did the people that were nurses and doctors within the facility there show the dead bodies of mutated quirks, they basically informed the students of UA (thank god they were there) and the other civilians within the lab that they would be the next target of bodies for their research about how quirks worked, what it meant and so on. Not only did these 5 students save the whole civilian party from this toxic gas and fought off the doctors and nurses that were an issue, while trying to save one of these ugly bastards live, no, they weren't even thanked. Yes after a year that still pisses me off.
If you thought that was strange; hell yea lets poison people. Well get ready for the rest!
If that wasn't a good starter than how about this: we lock up six à seven people in a cruise ship and we sink it. For fun! We might not fill all the diving gear with the right amount of oxygen and if you finally managed to come out, we have this highly obsessed woman (from the military surprise!) who has a quirk that creates barriers to try and push you back in the water. So much for being saved! Seriously I can't imagine what goes through your head: oh yes, we saw all these quirkers at our demonstration, let's at the next one: kill them all! Lovely thought on a Sunday morning, time for coffee. SERIOUSLY! Who thinks like this!
If that wasn't everything than there was an article published by some guy pro them, I first thought against I would admit. But what do you expect "The students were not without flaws." Yes, smartass they are students. Would be weird if they were perfect, right? Than why would we have the school. No but, this person did compliment our students and UA Janitor (seriously these guys are everywhere, right?) for fighting the Painter. Yes, that name we heard before, one of our top ten villains, do not forget and be save. But surely they fought the person off, blabla, where are the compliments people? Do we have to be critical about hero actions? Apparently?
Than you had the Secretary of Defense who called out the true heroes were the students from UA. Thank this person for writing but I will rely the source to you and all the links to the articles are of course linked below! The Secretary even thanked the students there, after the Military subdued one of the UA students, the students got their friend back from what I understood and went to protect the civilians surrounding them. No blabla against the miltary, they did what was expected of them for future heroes. Now, why am I pointing this out? Because some of the articles written by Semper Fi called out for the quirkers attack on the military, pointing especially to the UA students for being the big bad. So hold on, this is my rollercoaster of sarcasm.
So two articles especially were focused on the blinded bias that many old-fashioned idiots seem to have. "Not Heroism.", "We are training killers." And funny enough, I would swap this around to accusing the military of no humanitarian aid or not being peace protectors but killers but don't look at me, apparently I was wrong. But seriously, I wrote an article about this before, you have a student (let's not call names here) and you mister big bad number 1. What are you going to do? Sit on your ass and sip your sake, of course not! If that was a suggestion than sure but no this ridiculous dumb person suggested that the students allied themselves with Big bad 1. Sorry I had to laugh for a second before I could continue to write. I could tell you for sure that this wasn't the case and it is ridiculous and stupid to even consider so for a second. So do you bump into this story, immediately "report" it, its a nice button on the top page corner and report it for discrimination and fake news. Thank you!
The other one just as bad made murderers of our dear UA students, again --> report --> discrimination/fake news --> delete cookies and hoppa refreshed from the interwebz!
"is the fact that Principal Kobayashi issued permission to the students to protect themselves. Protect themselves from what, exactly?"
Hahaha, YOU! Seriously the Military attacks, holds hostage, talks about defusing bombs (real ones funnyyy!) sinking ships, drowning, they missed top ten villains in their own camp! But noooo it's always the blame to someone else.
So when you hear the infamous words "Semper Fi" Remind yourself that you do not know the truth but that you had to be very skeptical and you have to keep your ears open. The school money got cut, there is a quirk tax for something we cannot change, its something we were born with. So ask yourself: Who is trying to stop me from having a quirk?
Is it the quirkers? The hero school? Or is it the government?
