G was walking around Musutafu and minding his own business. He was usually a civillian during the day and a Vigilante during the night. It was too risky to be a crime fighter during the day because too much heroes were active then. So thats why he was a mere civillian now. It was just a healthy stroll. No action, no groceries, no goals and no anything. Just out to stetch your feet. Granted if there were people who needed someone he'd help. But he really hope there was no crime fighting involved. He didnt wanna do that now.
Meh, at least the weather was nice, but maybe he should've went to a park. Walking in a grey and dull town was pretty dull actually. People going to work or school. People driving to work or home. Its not like anyone was to walk here just for the heck of it. Japan really was different. And theres no one who can convince him otherwise, but Japan had this whole cold and formal vibe to it. Too much emphasis on honourifics and not enough spirit on well... peace. Just relaxing, it was a more calmer and serene tempo. Man he missed it already and he only just returned from the honeymoon

Danica awoke that morning with a single goal in mind, she needed school supplies, a new bag, some new notepads, pen and paper. Nothing not extravagant but nothing she could simply go without either, after her delays from traveling and then bouncing back and forth from trains and busses she had managed to get to Yuuei academy. Sure she was a week late and was missing a bag of her belongings, but she had the more important stuff she had with her carryon luggage.
She hit the streets of Musutafu, with advice that the shopping district should have everything she needed. But was more troubling was the lack of money she currently had, shed have to stretch it until she could land a part time job or her family sent her another bit of allowance, but from what he mother had told her it was likely going to be far and few between at least for a little bit.
Danica cut through a park to get to the shopping district with the help of some local residents who pointed her in the right direct she was heading to get herself a new book bag, stopping in the middle of the street to look about at all of the many shops that lined all sides of the streets, some of the building had a few floors and there was bound to be a lot of small shops to look through. Sighing slightly she couldn’t help but think this would have been easier to have done with a few other students who might have wanted to pick up last minute supplies, but she had such a hard time sleeping with being so ill prepared for classes that would start back up tomorrow, the sheer thought of her sitting in class without a notepad or any writing utensils sent a shiver up her spine. What a start to a year that would be, shaking the thought from her head she quickly looked around again.
Looking a lot like a deer in headlights she stood out in the open looking around, all of the stores seemed to blend into on another, and the amount of people that roamed past her made her nervous. Out of the corner of her eye she though she seen a sign to store that seemed like a good start. But each time she started to move through the crowed she found herself unable to keep lined up with the store, still being rather young she didn’t stand to tall amounts the crowed, and because of this she had to stand on her tippy toes just to see over the heads of the strangers passing her by.
Danica threw her hands up in defeat for a moment, growling in frustration she found a bench and stood up on top of it, getting the general layout of the area while she had the height advantage. But with all the frustration and flustered feelings, the one thing she could appreciate was the beautiful weather.

As he had his generic and peaceful walk, he noticed something that stood out. Or in this case stood up... on a bench. It was a girl, a teen. Was she looking for someone? Or something? Why else would she need a height advantage?
He approached the girl who stood tall on the bench and looked up to her
"Yo. Did you lose something?" he asked the girl nonchalantly.
He had to say, this was a curious thing to him. It wasnt often he saw people do thing. And upon a better look, he realized she wasnt asian. She was a westener like him. European physique maybe? He couldnt quite place where exactly. Was she a tourist by any chance? Or actually, this may be a stretch, but she was of that age. And the new UA school year just started, she might be a student. He already met a lot of international students who for one reason or another came to UA. He saw Americans, Chinese, Brits, Irish, German and all kinds of youngsters coming to Japan to go to UA. It was like the main reason foreigners came to a place like Musutafu.
But maybe not everything is hero centric, maybe this is a lost tourist? Well, it was like a matter of time finding out. As he asked the question. He didnt mind helping this kid around. It would be an interesting experience. And it would be a nice pass time for him, to help someone and chat. Plus if she's a tourist, he can just use his Quirk to help her look. If she needed more height advantage, he could provide that. Because thats what he does, helps people Quirk or no Quirk. Law or no law. It was as simple as that. Plus, this was nice as he gets to talk to someone. He gets to socialize a bit

Danica stopped her search as someone approached her, he had asked her something, and she hadn’t been paying close enough attention to have caught it right away “ did I lose something?” She repeated more so to confirm then anything else, but quickly realized that this was in fact what he asked. She would shake her head no for a second and then hope down off the bench “ no I haven’t found it yet, I was looking for a place that sells backpacks, or writing supplies in general” she explained as she looked at the man before her, he seemed quite a bit older then her. Her voice would have a American/Canadian accent
“ you don’t happen to know where this address is do you?” She asked before rummaging through her pocket and pulling out a small piece of paper folded up, she quickly unfolded it and offered it out, the numbers on the page were written in a loopy handwriting, as it read ~ 134 – 5823 c2 ~
“ I cant make heads or tails out of any of the street signs really it all seems laid out in some odd way” she said sounding a bit defeated. Her attention turned towards the direction she was looking originally when she was standing on the bench. “i seen that the c was the floor number, 2 was the store number but i can’t find the building number at all” she confessed.
Today Danica wore her favorite sweater, which was mostly olive green with tan lines, fake fur lined the back side of the collar, and it went down to just above her knees. She wore faded blue jeans, small ink stains on the thigh of the pants from either repeatedly touching the tip of her pen to it or having had one blow up in her pocket at some point. Her hair was pulled back into a single ponytail, held back with a small black ribbon and she wore a pair of soft brown leather looking boots that stopped at her ankle. She wore light makeup around her eyes and lips, mostly for confidence but also to contrast her paleness. Her green eyes watched him as he tried to either understand her writing or looked for the place she had been trying to get to, as she remained quiet to give him time to answer.

The young one explained that she was looking for a store that sold writting supplies. Indeed he noticed her accent right away, a foreign one, which he couldnt quite place. Sadly she couldnt hear his accent due to him being in Japan for a loooong time. Anywho, G knew of a place. But that only got confirmed when the child showed him the address that was scribbled down on a paper. He nodded "Aye, I know it alright"
When she explained that she cant make heads or tails of the street signs he nodded, "mhm" Yeah, he cant let her go alone with mere directions, she was bound to get lost
"I can show you. Its actually close. Come follow me" he said and motion her to go with him. He started to walk slowly so she can catch up to him.
To make the walk less silent and awkward he decided to strike up a conversation and ask a pretty harmless question. "New to Japan?" ok, correction, that wasnt a harmless question, that was a stupid question. Of course she was new, that much was obvious. But still, he didnt want to pry anything and make her uncomftarble. After all what were the chances of them meeting again after this?

Danica showed the paper and was told he knew where it was. A wave of relief washed over her and she started to cheer up a bit. She was starting to get excited that today was going to start turning out better, or maybe it was the lack of sleep from jet lag that made her a little more Grumpy then normal.
She told him a bit of her frustration and he seemed to understand, which was nice, it was hard to explain your struggles to people who just didn’t have any experience with it, it just seemed like they didn’t care when they talked to you. But this man seemed a little different, or at least was able to understand her struggle. He offered to show he where it was" Thanks that would be great" She nodded with a smile. She would hop down off the bench and started to walk behind him and then she started to slow down for a second as a bit of panic set in.
Looking at the big facts, she started to think about things a little more logically, she was somewhat lost in Japan, by herself, just a young girl and a man approached her and is going to show her to a place god knows where.
She Slowed right down to a couple of steps before she cautiously continued to follow, remembering that she could handle herself for the most part, but was still wary picking her pace up a bit more to catch up, she waited for any sort of Red flag that would indicate that he was being Dishonest, his question however had been asked while she was in her own thoughts, being able to recall it she started to answer “ Umm, yea, like Fresh off the boat new, less then forty eight hours” she said trying not to Judge him as a bad person before she knew his real intent, after all he could just be a nice person helping a lost tourist “ What about you are you from here?” she asked now catching up to beside him. Her confidence had returned but she stayed attentive just encase.

The girl slowed down and and walked a tad bit behind him. He knew that it was being cautious. Perhaps he was naive to think someone wouldnt be catious. But he honestly doesnt know how to be not shifty. He abandoned that lifestyle years ago and yet he still is a bit... like that. So G tried to make conversation. Was she new to Japan or somethin. It was a dumb question really, but it was something to say the least.
The girl answered saying she's less here then 48 hours. G looked at her surprised "Less then 48??" he asked in disbelief, shaking his head. The girl asked was he from here
"Ehh yes and no. I'm Hawaiian. But I live here sadly" he then added with a whisper "Dont tell my wife I said the last part"
Hana would rip him a new one if he said anything remotely critical about Japan. He doesnt hate Japan but... he likes Hawaii more then it. Hey, there was nothing wrong being 2nd place. Agh, maybe he shouldnt get in that debate again.
The two walked and neared their destination. It was close after all
"So... what brings you here?" he asked. G could hazard a guess, but it was nice to ask, right?

Danica would nod when the man reaffirmed her statement, before she asked him his own question, to which his answer was not an expected answer, but it brought a smile to Danica’s lips. “I wont tattle on you, your secrets safe with me” she continued onto the joke. Though she did not want to let her guard down, she felt relativity comfortable with this stranger. He seemed to only want to help and was even going out of his way to break the ice and create conversation.
As they continued towards the location, she had asked directions too, he asked what brought her here, and again she wanted to be truthful but a Stranger wasn’t a person to tell all the details of your life, so she opted to give a half truth. “ Schooling mostly, but my grandfather was originally from here, and my family thought it would be nice for me to get in touch with my heritage” she said, offering a bit more about herself then she intended to but not enough to feel uncomfortable.
Thinking about it she would “ how did you and your wife meet ?” she asked thinking about how someone from Hawaii found their way here, and if they would be upset with him for mentioning his distaste for japan, she wondered as to how they got together in the first place. Maybe it was a bit too forwards, but it was up to him to decide that. Her Thoughts pulled her away from her initial task as she talked to this man, she had lost track of her mission, and the frustration that had came with it from the start, it turned to a more pleasant encounter.

Well,it was a nice conversation and they were also there. G asked what brings her here to which she wisely answered. Schooling. And her grandfather is from here and stuff that isnt his business. He nodded.
She asked then a question, how did he and his wife meet
"When I moved here way back when I was a kid. She was my neighbour. So it went from puppy love to crush to actual adult marriage sorta stuff" he shrugs "Life is funny that way"
He didnt mind answering her questions, they were strangers and chances are they will forget about eachother after their meeting. Like, honestly? Who remembers every random stranger they meet?
Like G knows he's a handsome devil and very memorable. But he doubt everyone will remember him.
Not long after, they arrived to the store though, so G had to break his thought process
"A-ah. We're here" he said. They arrived sooner then expected. Well, in that case he will just let her buy her stuff. He can hang outside if she needs help and directions getting back to where ever. He wasnt gonna baby her if she should buy something or not. But granted if she needed a translater he'll be more then happy to pop up if needed

Danica smiled as the man explained how he met his wife; it was an unbelievably cute story even if it was summarized. The premise was adorable, and it got Danica thinking about her parents had met, though it wasn’t ever described as puppy love, she wondered if her father ever felt like that. They didn’t talk too much more before the man announced that they were there.
Danica looked at her paper and then to the store, it seemed right, and it made sense once she was standing in front of it. With a bit of hesitance she nodded and looked at g “ thanks again, i don’t think i would have found this, it sure is tucked away” she would say with a smile, clearly in a far better mood then when they had met, it was amazing what meeting new people could do.
Once inside the store she looked around and placed a few pads of paper and some pens in a basket before continuing into the shop and grabbing a few more off the essentials for good note taking. She would finish up and head to the counter, placing her things onto the counter top and looking at the worker. “ thanks” she would reply even if they didn’t speak English too, before she placed down the price that showed up mostly in coins before moving back to the street after a few minutes.
Though she didn’t expect to see the man, had waited for her to come out. A mental red flag flashed as she looked at him and then looked around. There were lots of people still so she didn’t need to worry about that. Right now, so she decided to engage in conversation again “ oh I didn’t expect you to stick around, don’t you have things you have to do?” She asked the rude question as pleasantly as possible, she wasn’t sure as to why a fully grown man was still hang around with her, it wasn’t like he could have nothing to do, he couldn’t possibly just be wandering around in hopes to help people, or maybe he could be, it wasn’t too far of a stretch to think he might just be the helpful type.

He nodded in agreement "Yeah it sucks its tucked away. I always hate when some new locations I have to go are in some lame remote places" he said with a shrug. Remembering a few scenarios where that happeend to him, but thank god for GPS. And so she went to the store. G remained if she needed any further help because today he clearly had nothing better to do. It was a good day to be free, eh.
While she was off doing whatever chore she needed buying things. He tinkered on his phone with a bored look on his face. He breezed through a few forums to see if he was up to date with everything going on. He then looked at uTube to see some subscriptions and comments and such. And then he yawned because he was bored. Maybe he can go home and nap after this.
And thats whenthe girl came out, clearly surprised to see him.
"I dont have anything to do really. Today just wandered around. I stayed just in case you needed help getting back. But if you're fine I can go my way" G said rather matter of factly with a shrug. Due to his own 'rude' nature, he didnt see the girl as rude. He saw that as concern, wondering if she was bugging him. Thats how he interpreted her question.
"Meh. I get that you're reasonably catious since you're a newb. But you dont need to worry about me. I normally help people... I just dont... help people on such a small pace" he said again rather leisurely and honestly
Being a Vigilante, G tended to help people in a much more grandeur scale with crime fighting and all kinds of resuce. He rarely helped people while in civillian. Maybe... Maybe that shouldnt be his thing. It looks too shifty, maybe he should fight crime

When Danica asked her question the man didn’t seem to take much offense to it, which was good it wasn’t like she was trying to upset him, but she was a little more Brash then she should be sometimes “ thanks, im sure there more I wont be able to find, it just seemed odd, I didn’t expect anyone to even look my way let alone walk me through my shopping” she explained bowing her head towards him as a sign of respect and a bad apology.
The man was quite reasonable, and kind and even understood her behaviour, which made it easier to trust him for some reason. She didn’t feel the need to be skeptical of him too much more, though she would remain somewhat cautious. “ umm, well I have a few more places, but I don’t think you want to show me all over the place, but if you did id be happy to buy you a coffee or something for your kindness, it’s the least I can do” she would offer, she had enough to spare a coffee or two, but she would have to count her cash to make sure, but she wasn’t going to do so right in front of him, it seemed rude or at least reckless.
Danica would approach him and then offer out a piece of paper, a few notes scribbled down, as it had 2 more addresses written on them, though they would likely have to go across town for the last item. She would place her bag on the ground and place the papers and binders she bought. “ the first address is this one, second is for cloths, and the last one is the Post office, though I think I seen that on the way into town.” She would mention as she thought back, she didn’t even know the strangers name, nor did he know hers.
“ oh and before I forget again, I’m Danica” she would say offering her hand out.

"I mean, I figured it'd be douchy if I just left you here when you dont know the layout. You're a newcomer after all. Might as well try and give you a good first impression of the country, y'know?" he asked and answered rather elementary and matter of factly. After all, he had free time to burn. And this would be much more productive then gaming or whatever.
She then said that she has a few more places, but she doesnt wanna bug him, also she says if she does do that, that she migt at least repay him for his work with coffee and whatnot.
"Oh no need for that. Thank you very much. But I know my limit. It might be too weird if we did that ." he said. She was a kid and he an adult. He is aware that youngsters can have all sorts of alarm bells going on, especially if they were new. He didnt wanna use his kindness to get anything from the girl. Simply helping her was enough to him.
She then approached him and offered a piece of paper and some notes were scribbled down. It had 2 addresses. He nodded "Right. Well, follow me. Just note that this one" he points at one location "is like across down. So we might need to take the bus" he emphasized bus, just so he can assure her she's safe. No going into a strangers car and whatnot.
Before they started on their adventure, she introduced herself. Danica. He shook her hand "You can call me G. Otherwise name pending. Im planning to change my name because I dont like... Gabe" shudders at the last word |

“I suppose that’s fair” she would respond with a small nod, before taking a few Seconds to look around, she would no doubt need to return here for paper and other Office supplies, so she committed as much as she could to memory. After that she would offer the addresses and to get coffee.
He declined the coffee, which was fair, she had asked because she felt bad, but it would seem inappropriate to onlookers. “Right, good thinking, I wouldn’t want to tarnish your good doer reputation.” She would Smirk slightly as she took aim with the verbal joust. It had taken her a bit to warm up to him but she was feeling a lot better being around him, now that there was a few things established, like him having a wife, or that he was just here to help people, which though that still felt odd to her it made sense if he knew that school started recently and students would be flooding the town in hopes to find their class materials.
She would look at the paper as he pointed out an Address that would require them to take a bus, but he seemed pretty adamant about it being a bus, but the only other option was to likely walk and if he was showing her the way then she wouldn’t argue that point. “ sounds good, It didn’t look that far on the map, but you’d know better then I would” she would smile before realizing she hadn’t introduced herself yet.
When she offered her hand he would shake her hand and tell her that his name was G, which sparked a slight head tilt and a raise of her eyebrows but he seemed to pick up on her inquisitive look and explained it further that he was really named Gabe, but didn’t like it. “G it is then.” She would nod acknowledging that if he didn’t like the name she wouldn’t use it, She didn’t like to be referred to as a ~Vampire~, and so she wouldn’t tease in a way that might make him upset or uncomfortable.
She would take the time to look about again fairly confident she could get back to this store if she needed to. “ Alright, ill follow you, and try not to waste all of your day.”

He smiled a bit when they exchanged introductions. Danica. Ok. She gave him a look when he said G. But he disliked Gabe so much that he was gonna change it. The only thing he liked was the first letter and thats it. Once they looked at the addressed G told her one is far away and has to be taken by bus while another one was nearby.
And thus they went to the closer destination. G motioned her to follow him. So once again they walked together. But walking and not talking was rather awkward, so he needed to think of a subject. He decided to dig into a rather familiar subject
"So, I knew you've been for an awfully short time in Japan, but I must ask. What do you think of it? Or what do you think of its heroes. Japan is pretty into those heroes, y'know?" he said
He had a hunch that she wanted to go into UA. Because he was a crime fighter vigilante and he knew from the past 2 years that kids her age that are foreign, usually want UA and hero stuff. So in a more discreet and non blunt way, he asked what does she think of the heroes. That is if she did her research. Well... if she didnt, he can tell her
