She felt like she was suffocating. In her own brain it felt like she was drowning. She could breath. She could feel it. Every breath reminded her, itching in her throat as it pushed through such a dry channel. If she didn’t have bigger priorities she’d be clawing at her throat or gasping for a drink, but it was taking everything in her power just to show a sliver of control in her current state. Her fist slammed into something… concrete. Hard. Metal rebarb snapped against her knuckles and the fact she felt something against her back told her whatever she’d just punched collapsed down against her. She kept moving. Every now and then a sharp sting somewhere on her body reminding her she had a target. This… PAIN! This insect! Stinging her over and over and BREAK! JUST FUCKING BREAK!!! Gagh fuckn-nO! NO! SHUT UP! THIS IS HER HEAD! Whatever the FUCK her quirk was doing her wasn’t going to win-!!! ================================================================== Outside of Mia’s head the picture was much clearer. With more muscle than she’d reached even at her peaks Mia was barrelling through the streets of Tokyo with almost no care for her surroundings. A spry little criminal was darting around her, keeping her at an arms length if not more, and striking with harsh motions whenever he saw an opening to keep her attention. It was hard and fast and very, very annoying. Mia didn’t even seemed phased by the attacks but each one brought with it a roar of frustration. Everything was going to plan as far as he was concerned… Muramasa was gonna get a lot from this, the go pro like appendage lingering over his shoulder catching everything. Any time she charged towards him, another mom and pap store would be caught in her wake. Another pillar supporting the front entrance of a small time bank. Another street lamp wrenched from the ground and used like a baseball bat to swing for him. He noted that no matter how hard he tried he could never goad her into charging through a civilian but… well. Just had to keep trying huh?~ By now heroes were starting to close in on the scene and he may have to call his own fun to an end… but watching the number one pro face off against her co-workers? Oooooh. That was gonna be fun in itself! He’d have to at least keep an eye on it. “Come oooooon Red Horn! Smile for the camera!” Mikhail Orlov Nimue Nakahara Jasmine Noir Freya A. In between biology classes and in between her infirmary job she had been everywhere to work on her own development, her own dreams and her own idea. She wanted to be there to help. She did not patrol all that much but she did, after all, it was her task as a pro-hero and she could depend on the now second years to know a little bit more. She had actually been in Tokyo to set up everything she needed for the biology trip when she got a message on her phone and immediately looked at it. The pro-hero stared at it... Mia. She remembered obviously that Mia came to her for help and she was afraid of the consequences now if no one stood up for her. The whole reason why Nimue wasn't informed of the first part was that other pro-heroes had been around but now that they needed some help with something that happened to Red Horn, Nimue immediately called she would go there. She took a cab, jumped out a few streets closer by and managed to bring the grey cloak that she had for her hero outfit over her quickly braided hair to hide most of her face and to hide her hair completely. All the precautions she took for her identity. She was still very afraid and suspicious. She rubbed the make-up off her face, the reason why she hid the red markings on her face. She came always prepared and while holding her bag on her one shoulder, she grabbed the three metal pieces out of her bag. She really needed to continue training her spear craft instead of doing everything else if she wanted to do that.
Use me, ngumhlobo.
She shook her head at the fighting spirit, no not yet. She did not want to hurt Mia, she might be already in enough pain. She surely hoped the others had a better idea of what was going on but maybe, just maybe, Nimue could do something. There was no time to waste as she ran through the streets that gave her the indication of where she had to go. One more to the left, she had to make sure she could come there. She looked up at the buildings surrounding her, the noise was hard to miss. Now, there was only a way she could hope. She dropped her bag somewhere hidden when she was close by. Spear in hand, Nimue came to the scene and it took her a few seconds to adjust, adding her earpiece quickly to herself. Where to start, what to do. Mia... she thought, are you in pain? She must be, mentally maybe more so than physically but she cared about her friend and would have to see what was going on.
She did not use her quirk yet, but it might be smart to just try and calm down Mia instead of outright fighting her. She would have to be there to take the damage right. Yes, Iwayo agreed and she could always summon Lindiwe if push came to shove.

Mikky had always known this day would come. It wasn’t always going to be Redhorn, though it was fitting, in so very many ways, that it was. But ever since he’d entered the world of pro heroes, and gotten to meet the group of unstable ex-vigilantes that dominated their ranks, he’d known that someday, someone was going to snap.
And he’d known that if a hero wasn’t there to stop them, it would be the end of the Japanese experiment. The end of the hero program. Two years of public trust in quirkers, shattered. And Mikhail Orlov?
Back to being a washed-up celebrity, an aging mutant in a world that ate people like him alive.
So the first thing he’d thought when he got the “immediate response needed” call on patrol in downtown Tokyo was “oh god,” and the second thing he’d thought was “thank god it was me.”
He’d headed for the scene of the disaster instantly, hopping from rooftop to rooftop with inhuman, practiced grace, heart hammering in his chest, organizing, coordinating. Two other heroes nearby--Nimue, and Freyja. Freyja was Redhorn’s friend, or bootlick. Nimue was skilled, but emotionally fragile. Were either of those a problem? Students were on scene too--second and third years, and a first year. He was frightened for them. More than he’d thought he’d be. He grudgingly gave them permission to act, to drive back the Cult-Leader’s thugs, and rescue civilians.
If any of them got hurt...at least more pros are on the way…
And then he arrived, slithering atop a rooftop, overlooking the chaos.
Redhorn was a monster. Giant, swollen with muscle, steaming with rage and fury. Serpy knew that she was stronger than he was on an intellectual level, but that was different than seeing it in person. Around her, it was a disaster. Broken cars, screaming civilians, fire, and above, the hum of news choppers. And around her feet, a little darting figure--
The villain?
Despite his resolve, he felt himself hesitate.
Maybe they could calm her down. Was it her quirk, or something else? Had she just snapped?
He didn't want that. He wanted to fight her. To best her. To be better.
He made himself move.
Serperior landed on the ground at the edge of the circle of rubble around Mia with a sineous thud, dropping down from his rooftop. Nimue was close, also moving in, but Serperior tried to be faster--he wanted to be the first to get Mia’s attention. Not for fame, but because he knew if she lashed out…
Well, I’ve been preparing for this...
He twirled his quarterstaff, planting it on the cracked pavement with an echoing THONK.\, then spoke up, loud, brash, and unafraid. A hero. The face Tokyo needed.
He hoped.
“REDHORN! STOP! LOOK AROUND!" He shouted, standing his ground. Not attacking, not threatening. Not yet. He'd risen up high on his tail, so he was nearly as tall as her. "YOU'RE HURTING PEOPLE! LOOK AT YOURSELF! STAND DOWN!"
Mikhail stopped, holding his breath.
Maybe.

Life up until now had been pretty damn simple. Wake up, get dressed, get to work, fly around, occasionally join up with the Hounds or a fellow pro hero and help with a case, paperwork, get off work, drink, and then sleep to do it all over again. It was by far the most active lifestyle as far as it concerns her as she was getting used to the city. Hell, making a few friends at work makes things so much more enjoyable as of late. Being friends with some strong ass people makes the conversations off the clock more enjoyable as she can be more lax.Witch Doctor, Redhorn, Blue Agate, and the Hounds make life so much more than what it was. To sum it up in all of its parts? She is enjoying her life to her fullest without much protest. The only other thing of note is snagging two prospective third year students for a surprise internship to see what they're made of. It was going to be all fine and dandy.
That was the plan until today where while she was out on patrol with two other students and the hounds, Freya received a pretty panicked call on her end. At first she was more excited as it meant it was a strong ass criminal she can beat down with Mia. But things took a turn as the call got more and more dire as word of Redhorn was being pushed back. She didn't catch all the details as she headed there as soon as possible. The activity was pretty damn obvious to hear as it was akin to the sound of a walking disaster. Making a few quick stops to redirect any civilians near the zone and putting out her call to the Hounds to reassure civilian safety. Making sure to redirect the two students with her to aid in civilian protection while she did her role. But as she got closer, her blood began to run hot as she wondered who the mysterious criminal who was string enough to push her friend back and how much she was going to burn them down.
But what she bore witness to was something that was completely unexpected and dangerous as all hell. It was her drinking buddy and fellow pro hero, Redhorn going on a rampage. She was burning with rage and pulsing with power, it was the image of a demon incarnate. No sign of the villain in sight but all she can see is her friend in her beastly state.
“What the hell, Mia?!”, Freya said as her cape of fire blew in the wind. Her expression went from excited to serious as the focus changed. It was surreal to see as she saw her friend smashing and yelling like a wild beast. In the distance she can spot a familiar face going by the name Witch Doctor and another pro hero who she hasn't formally met before. They were doing their part in trying to calm down the raging beast. But she knew that she wasn't going to go down without a little force. The Hellfire heroine quickly hopped on top of a pile of rubble near the scene and let her words be known. She wasn't scared at least one bit as she knew to be in this profession, she needed to have no fear. But she was afraid of losing her friend because god damn is she a riot. Losing her in something as stupid as this is going to make the days longer and she cant deal with that one bit.
“Yo, Redhorn!”, is what she opened up with as she made sure her words could be heard loud and clear. “This is quite the mess you made here, so how about you settle down and I’ll buy you a few dozen drinks after this!”, Freya said in her own wild voice as her fires started to burn hotter. Her fists clenched as she let her voice do the rest.
“OR DO I HAVE TO BEAT YOUR ASS DOWN TO MAKE YOU LISTEN!”

Aw man. This can't be happening. This can't be fucking happening. Of all the times Jasmine decided to come back to Japan it had to be just before Red Horn went on a goddamn rampage. She hadn't gotten any type of warning like the Pro Heroes undoubtedly did - as an ex-student and likely considered MIA, Jasmine obviously wasn't in whatever PSA system they had. But the internet sometimes moved faster than distress calls, especially with shit exploding left and right in the middle of the goddamn day smack dab in the center of Tokyo.
A very small part of Jasmine had made her stop and think: should I get involved? She wasn't a Hero. Hell, she wasn't even a student anymore. She'd probably just get into more trouble than she'd help fix, what with knowing how rigid some of the pro heroes were. But that tiny tiny voice in the back of her head trying to talk her out of going was quickly squashed. Red Horn... no, Mia was her friend. Mia let her crash at her place when Jaz had nothing at all going for her. There was no way in fucking hell she wasn't going to help.
Within minutes of confirming that the rumors going around the web were correct Jasmine slipped into her jacket and leaped out of Mia's apartment through an open window, using a few small explosions to make her landing softer. From the rooftops and then down to the alleys, the ashen wolf had quickly picked up on the sounds of chaos and made a beeline towards them, huffing and puffing as she sprinted. Damn it, Horny...
When she finally rounded the last corner and emerald greens met the sight before her the American's expression was pretty similar to the Pro Heroes standing out in the distance. Her chest heaved up and down as she quickly scanned the area and took stock of the situation. Mia was going out of control, smashing through everything within reaching distance like a wild beast which would break you in half if you came a little too close. There were a few Pro Heroes in the area and what she could only assume were a few henchmen of the fiery one, evacuating the immediate area by guiding the civvies to safety.
Every single cell in Jasmine's body was screaming at her to get in there and do something, but she knew better. Whereas the lioness of the past would've followed her gut instinct, the wolf would stay calm and composed. Glancing upwards, she saw a large, rusted pipe climbing high towards the roof of the structure beside her, connecting to the rain gutter. She hoped up and begun to climb skyward, remaining as silent as she could while still observing the situation unfold below from a bird's eye view. There were Pro Heroes on the scene and with their training Jasmine had a hunch they had things under control... but you could never be sure when it was Mia you were facing. If she needed to, she'd jump in, whether it was to protect a civilian or to assist.
Christ she hoped they knew what they were doing cause yelling at Mia in the state she appeared to be in sure as shit wasn't going to help anybody.

‘Stop… fucking…WACKING ME!’
Roaring out only in her mind as a guttural attempt at words flowed out of her throat into the real world, Mia’s arm slammed down through the roof of a van the goon keeping her busy had been lingering on a moment before. The thick slab of meat that was her arm slamming through the metal and warping it as easily as a knife and butter. There was only a brief struggle as Mia tried to wrench her arm from the jagged steel, before wrenching what must have been half of the van’s frame work away just to free her arm, whirling around as her bright yellow eyes, almost seeming to produce their own glimmering stream along with her horn, tried to lock onto her target once more, her mouth hanging agape as heavy, fog producing breaths puffed out of her one after another. Arms heaving by her sides as she tried to find her target again.
Mia’s brain was far gone… what little control she had behind the martini of chemicals frying her brain was used in just trying not to hurt anyone. In her mind. This thing was causing her to be like this. If she could grab it. If she could squash it. If she could… KILL…it…! It’d be over! It’d all be over. This sensation like she was going to burst out of her own god damn skin would end or… Or muramasa. The big guy. Like this she could win! She could tear him down! She could break him apart! SHE JUST NEEDED TO GET RID OF THIS PEST!
The goon himself? Time of his life by the looks of things. He was breathing heavily, and every motion by now had him a hair from death but… that was paradise for an adrenaline junkie like him, brushing back his already slicked back hair with a cocky slant to his stance, hopping left and right ready to move again. “Aw whazza matter big girl? Getting’ frustrated with yer playdate?~” He’d chime out, half thinking this beast didn’t even understand what he was saying at this point but… ah who the fuck cared. He was having a good time and her being a brainless shit wasn’t gonna stop that. What might stop it was what came next… the arrival of the do-gooders.
Ugh. It wasn’t like they hadn’t accounted for this but it seemed they were playing the ‘good guy card’. Something, again Muramasa’s goons expected, but the way more boring option for this little speedster. He darted back a little as he saw Mia approaching again out the corner of his eye, a steaming fist slamming down into the tarmac so deep Mia fell to her knee and found half her forearm embedded in the road, Growling and roaring out in frustration for a moment, until the shouting voices of her fellow heroes started to sound through.
Serperior… who the FUCK made your smarmy ass the leader of the ‘voice of reason’ club!? Even in a brief moment of calm the grimace Mia’s beastly features held when Serperior attempted to speak to her made it clear to the goon that Mia was at the very least ‘not a fan’ of that particular pro… good… noted…
Next up on the scene. Hellhound… this was a voice Mia could listen to… a dim-witted chuckle almost seemed to sound between her growls as she was threatened with an ass whoopin… her arm idly tugged at the tarmac, trying to pull herself free and as she seemed to be mildly calming as the consequences of being surrounded by heroes settled into her chemical soaked brain, that became a more possible task, the veins on her muscles starting to ease and her arm finding an easier time easing free. The golden shimmer from her eyes starting to dim down as her growls eased…
Nope. Not gonna be that easy.
The goon that none of the heroes had bothered to separate from Red Horn zipped forward, delivering a sharp kick to her face in a roundhouse fashion, wincing as it felt like literally trying to kick through a brick wall with what he could only assume was somehow LESS give. The moment he was back on two feet, he legged it. Right for the least favourite of Mia’s co-workers. At least, as far as he could tell.
A sharp sting across her cheek and her target locked on again. The veins bulged, her eyes burned, and clasping onto the nearest thing her arm could find, Mia began to wrench her arm from the ground.
GRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAGHHHH!!!!
A hand wrapped around the now warped metal of an under-street pipeline, Mia dragged it out through the tarmac and forced her energy through it like the natural flow of a wave, the metal not only torn out of the street where she stood but the metal arching up out of the tarmac for meters along. The speed goon leapt over Serperior, flipping him the bird and kicking off the ground far behind his scaley lower end, rushing out of the scene as Serperior would feel the tarmac beneath him erupt with this long metal appendage Mia had appropriated burst from the ground.
“HURT-!” She managed to bellow out, her body felt like it was on fire and yet SOMEHOW all she could focus on was the stinging in her cheek. If the rest of her body was on fire than there was a fucking sun resting on her cheek at this point. With the piping up in the air, she whipped it down like… well, a whip, the metal structure slamming back down into the road, snapping further down the line as water burst out onto the broken street, tarmac cracking and firing in different directions as jagged metal slammed back into the road. “BREAK!”

She had been not entirely hidden but still half in the alley. Too much has been happening. She watched Mia, calculative, seeing what she was doing. How was she responding, what was the amount her brain could handle and understand or had Mia pushed herself in a corner to make sure that the protectiveness, her job, for civilians was doing well? What was Mia thinking? That's what she wanted to know but would never realize. She would have to do something. She gritted her teeth, alright it wasn't entirely bad what the two of her colleagues said but wouldn't that aggravate Mia? Wouldn't it make matters worse? She needed to calm down, but how many people would turn angry when they heard that they had to calm down? How many strong heroes would be annoyed when someone said they would give them an ass beating? She needed to do something.
She noticed what the goon did but she did not get it, however that did not mean that her feet would remain standing still. She would rush forward now. Hero outfit hiding her hair, but it was her, they would know. She worked together with Freya, she worked together with Mikhail. Strange, she never seem to bump into people during her jobs. Mostly had to do with being the medical squad probably. She had worked together with Mia... during Semper Fi. Mia had asked her to help her, she was going to do it now. If Mikhail would get the goo- oh... oh of course! She watched it, she had to jump over a fissure that was created. She should get close, they had already agreed. They had no longer the fight of who would be fighting and who would remain dormant at the time. She knew, just a blink, that's how fast it would go, her amber coloured eyes changed into blue. She had to hold her staff, she had to hold the spear closely to her else this would be a bigger disaster, would it be able to stop Mia? Probably not? But she needed to come closer, would she hear them better? Would it be less agitating if they did not yell at her? She had not really found a way to calm the blood cells down. As they heat up, would a wave of water work? A funny thing to consider, as it wasn't even here!
She did not even know words, she did not know what to say. She stumbled, too focused on Mia instead of looking at the rumble on the ground. "Red!" Grab attention, get it away from Mikhail, she was sure he could deal with it, but maybe dividing and conquer was their tactic now. Shit, they could not even discuss a strategy. "I know you can do this! Remember, you don't want this. Try it." It was on the tip of her tongue to yell for her friend's name. But she could not, not at this moment, it would have not been the smartest thing to do, for her safety. For all of them. If there was some way to reach her.

Serperior gave Hellhound an incredulous stare, almost personally offended by her words to Mia.
“Really?” He muttered to himself, leaving off his radio. He had the decency to at least try to deescalate the situation, while Redhorn’s nominal “friend” tossed on a little bit more fuel! This was exactly what he’d been worried about when it came to the former Vigilantes. No tact.
And yet, something seemed to be working. Serperior didn’t know if Redhorn was composed enough to realize that she was outnumbered, or if any of their words had managed to get through, but for a moment, the raging ogre smouldered, instead of roaring. Sure, she didn’t seem pleased to see them--especially him. What, I enjoyed your Halloween party. I wasn’t aware my meeting room antics had gotten under your skin that badly! But still. Serperior held a cautious breath, slowly lowering his guard. It looked like she might come quietly.
Better than us brawling on the street.
Then the damned goon jumped back in and kicked her, then made a break for Serperior.
And the other shoe drops.
Serperior let out the breath he’d been holding, his eyes going wide. His tail lashed out, going for a quick trip on escaping thug, then, as Redhorn’s strike came down, he uncoiled, dashing to the side.
“Redhorn!” He yelled. Frustrated. His heart was hammering in his chest. Fear, or excitement? The pipe slammed down, and he raised his arms, shielding himself from the spray of rubble and water.
Fast!
And here we are. Time to be a hero.
Asphalt and concrete bounced off his body armor and scales with bruising force. Serperior panted, wiping the water from his eyes the moment he was clear, refocusing on Redhorn. Nothing broken yet. He grimaced. He could feel blood trickling down his face. A rock had split his lip. This was only going to get worse.
Witch Doctor was trying to negotiate. Serperior might have admired that, another time, but now? It was only frustrating. They’d given Redhorn her shot. It was time to reel her in.
“Speed Quirker fleeing northwest on foot.” Serperior gasped, unwilling to give the thug an easy out either. The clever little villain had set him up. Was this a plot? And was it against him, Redhorn, or heroes in general?
“Witch Doctor, we have authority to arrest Redhorn.” Serperior continued, trying to sound as professional and sympathetic as possible. Despite his split lip, it wasn’t that hard. A hero would want to minimize innocent suffering. It simply made sense. “I’m specialized for restraint if you can give an opening for me to get in close---but she’s fixed--on--ME!”
Serperior gasped the last words as Redhorn started to move again, trying to circle his opponent, get behind her. He lashed out with a light blow with his staff, going for the side of her knee, testing her limits. It was like a bullfight. Sting, and float.

Her words having some effect were obvious as Freya put her hands on her hips as she looked at Redhorn as she spoke to her. “All that anger and you can still laugh at my jokes? You’re even more down to earth than I thought” catching the slight chuckle the rampaging oni as she seemed to calm down. Progress, the sign of pure progress!....But then it was ruined by the resident goon who was zipping around like a toddler hyped on sugar. Causing her to continue her rampage and a swing at Serperior over there. Not that she had any problem with her doing so but he is there to help and she needed to see his ass in action anyway.
The hellfire heroine quickly put together what was the likely cause of this entire disaster and the little faster bastard over there is the trigger for it. Now looking at him, she’d understand why Mia would go mad. Just LOOK at him, he has such a punch able face and how he was running around meant he was hard to hit. One look at him and she already made her blood boil.
Nimue was busy playing the voice the reason and trying to get her out of her stupor and Snake eyes is becoming the world's first snakeskin punching bag with the hit he took.
“Ok, Speedy Gonzales has to eat the pavement”, she cracked her knuckles and an agitated frown started to form on her face. The speed goon is going to pose a massive issue if he sticks around. It’s going to be the equivalent of keeping the most annoying kid in class at the center. Plus she needed a warm up since she hadn't had her daily diet of ass whooping. Snake eyes asked for some help and she was more than happy to provide her own brand of assistance.
“One distraction coming right up!”, opening up as she cracked her neck and finalizing her thoughts.” HEY MIA CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!” She yelled out as a cape of fire burst forth from her back. The ravenous look in her eyes began to show. Her eyes looked to Mia for a moment then to the speed goon and already she has a plan ready for this. Freya threw her hands backwards and blasted two intense jets of fire to propel herself at Redhorn. She was coming in fast like a flaming bullet and she re positioned herself so she can deliver a high speed red hot kick to the Rampaging Oni's face. She can tell already that wasn't going to be enough as she felt her kick hit something akin to a battleship made into a person. Of course she knew it would be this sort of result from what she remembered from her first meeting with her. But if it gets her attention then of course she can set her next idea in motion.
“Well that was step one….NOW HERE'S STEP TWO!” The hellfire heroine exclaimed out loud as she was positioned just right to look where the speedy goon went. His back was turned and he was the perfect target. She activated her quirk once again and she propelled herself again at the goon while using Mia’s body as a launchpad. She’s durable enough so she wouldn't have to worry about hurting her too bad. But she wasn't the target this time, no she was aiming for the and she caught up quickly as he was busy running like a headless chicken.
“Knock, Knock, Speedy!”, She joked as soon as she was above him.Activating her quirk once again to change her trajectory once again. Of course it was to the goon where she promptly grabbed his head and slammed it into the ground. Not enough to kill because she knows better than that; but enough to knock him out for a bit as he was going to serve as a higher purpose. That and the dude was already pissing her off after ruining her attempt of snapping her out of it. She quickly slapped some handcuffs on his legs to make sure he didn't run away. She quickly catches a glimpse of Serperior doing his own thing as he was hitting Mia at the side of her knee. It was a smart idea...if it was on anyone else beside her. Luckily for him she had her own plan which was both stupid and hilarious if Mia actually takes the bait.
Turning her attention to Redhorn to make sure she was looking at her direction. She whistled jokingly as she swung the Goon around like a piece of meat, “Hey, Redhorn! would you calm down for a Goony Snack?”. Her fellow pro heroes probably hate this approach but for now she will play it by ear. But the most she did was look at Witch Doctor and wink as a sign to trust her.

Hanging from the pipe on the wall much alike an agile cat just waiting to pounce, Jasmine scanned the situation below, trying to find some kind of an opening to hop into action. Mia was going on a total rampage and it hurt to see her going ballistic like this. What in the hell even happened to her? One day they were fine, chowing on pizza and shooting the shit on the couch, the next she was tearing Tokyo a new asshole? This didn't make any sense in her head and she cursed under her breath as tarmac went fer above from where it should've been, pipes from below street level being torn out like nothing. Christ that woman was a beast, even more so now with whatever it was happening to her.
Snake eyes - don't ask why Jasmine decided to call him that, she somehow felt obliged to - was getting the brunt of the punishment but it seemed like he was handling himself well enough. With Witch Doctor and that other Pro being there Jaz figured they had the situation under control -- Mia had even seemed to be calming down a little. That is, until wannabe Flash over there decided to kick Red Horn square in the face and piss her off even more.
Ugh, great, Jasmine cursed under her breath as she watched more chaos unfold. She shuddered to think if that had been the Mia she sparred with a little bit ago - the ashen wolf would've been crushed effortlessly by the Oni. Yet Jasmine's thought process was quickly cut off when she heard a voice of panic call out. Emerald greens darting to the side, they widened when she saw someone trapped in a car that had toppled over a fire hydrant. The moment she saw a joined plume of water and smoke hit the air the teenager launched herself towards street level.
Gasoline was leaking freely from the tank and onto the concrete below, the engine was caught on fire and to make matters worse water had gotten into the busted generator, leaking sparks everywhere. Fuck, she didn't have time. With the heat inside the engine the gasoline was probably about to be vaporized any second. Gritting her teeth, Jasmine quickly darted towards the driver's side where she saw a woman attempting to claw her way through the door with her nails, screaming in a panic as blood flowed down her brow. One of Freya's Hounds was trying to open the jammed door but all he managed to do was rip the handle off.
"Move!" Jasmine screeched upon entry and slammed her fist into the door, leaving a small hole to grab on to. She couldn't use her explosions - not here, not now. Besides the fact that the Pro Heroes would probably get on her ass for unlicensed quirk use, her ability was also the literal worst thing in this situation. As such she resorted to brute strength and ripped the door open with all her might. The woman was out of the car within seconds, disoriented and dazed, likely concussed from the crash, mumbling incoherent warnings left and right... it hadn't taken Jasmine long to realize what the sheer panic and desperation painted all over her face was.
Aw fuck! Darting back to the vehicle as she noticed the gasoline catch fire, the ashen haired lass saw the kid in the back, strapped to a baby seat. With all of the strength at her disposal she ripped the car door off of its hinges and tossed it aside before jumping inside the vehicle. Mid flight, she snatched the whole baby seat and, through an explosion at her feet, slammed her way through the other door and out just before the vehicle erupted in a large gust of fire and smoke.
Rolling onto her side as her whole body smoldered from the head of the blast, she desperately clutched the whole baby seat close to herself. The ashen wolf took a moment to breathe and calm herself as best she could, finding herself frozen and terrified. Steeling herself, she let go of her grip... and before long she heard the kid begin to cry as she clutched at Jasmine's shirt. She sighed, not having felt relief on this level since fucking Semper Fi.
Jasmine had quickly gotten back on her feet and pulled the kid from the charred seat, carrying the little girl over to her bawling mother. "Thank you!" she cried out, clutching her child for dear life. Jasmine could only smile as she slipped out of her jacket and hoisted it over the two. "You're that ginger's guys, right? Get these two out of here. It's too dangerous to be anywhere near Red Horn right now," she said to the few men that had gathered, people she could only assume were Hellhound's goons. The American lass turned over her shoulder, a concerned gaze directed at the Oni as she wracked her brain to try and figure out what to do. Even with three Pro Heroes on the scene, this was going to get much worse before it got any better.
It seemed like Hellhound had some sort of plan... then again that plan was likely only going to piss the rampaging Oni off. Jasmine clutched her fist tight; consequences be damned, she needed to do something. An explosion at her feet launched Noir closer towards the ensuing chaos, flipping mid air before she landed on her feet, right next to the Blue-Eyed Heroine, "Jasmine Noir! Ex-student! Friend of Mia!" She quickly spat out as she stood her ground next to Nimue, decidedly leaving further explanations for later given the deep shit they were in, "Let me help!"
The fact that none of the Pro Heroes who gathered here actually went for Mia's weakness made Jasmine wonder if they didn't know what it was. She didn't want to reveal it herself, but if nothing was going to work at all and Red Horn kept endangering civilians, she would have to, secrets be damned.
Get your shit together, you damned demon woman!
---------------------------- TL;DR:
-Jasmine saw a car crash in the chaos, saved the mother and the child just before the car exploded, told Freya's Hounds to get them to safety. -Made her entrance onto the scene and landed next to Nimue, quickly introducing herself and asked to be allowed to help

(while Freya mentioned she kicks Mia in the face, THEN serperior hits her knee, im gonna say the events happened Serperior attacks – Then Freya For better flow)
With the mess of a street before her Mia’s adrenaline soaked mind was barely taking in what was actually ahead of her. A burst of frothy white as the water pipe burst further along, an initial spray giving way to a constant flow of water into the air. An oddly calming flow if it weren’t for the fact a beast of a ‘heroine’ was rampaging through the same street. Her breaths were heavy, heaving, steaming against even the warmer airs of April. She needed to vent. To break something. Where was that small one!? That one who kept kicking and hitting here and-!
Her golden eyes shifted around to the sound of her title being called, narrowing her gaze at the hooded figure. Mia had barely seen her in the field, so especially now she was struggling to recognize her, but her voice was… familiar… both soothing and oddly terrifying in her current state. Whoever this was she felt could potentially stop her, for better, or worse… maybe if she just listened… maybe…
Her face was twitching. It was hard to tell if she was just on that border between anger and full blown fury… or if she was fighting with her own muscles to try and make any other expression.
Something whipped about her, a flash of green and a flicker of something beyond that and a brief spike of sensation to her knee. Not pain though… Serperior would see her leg react, but it was a tight reaction. Her stance remained strong even when she was caught off guard and the sensation travelling back up the staff would be like he’d just tried to wack steel, her muscles tightly packed and her skin feeling dense and hard. Her expression finally decided on ‘pissed off’, she bright an arm across her chest, about to back-swipe Serperior with her entire forearm, even the wind up seeming to almost pull the air with it as she prepared to-
“GRRAGH!”
She staggered back a foot, Serperior holding her attention long enough for Freya to get in her own attack, Mia briefly holding a hand over her face, feeling one of her own tusks stab back into her cheek and bringing a small trickle of blood down over her face, not that you could even notice it with her skin being almost the same shade. Brief confusion pulled at her, but locking onto a new target, she threw a wild arm across Serperior, far less prepared than it could have been and not holding the same kick, but still one hell of a strike for the scaley hero to deal with before turning her eyes back to Freya, bellowing out a monsterous raw that rattled through the sheet, the nearby lampposts shivering as the sound waves vibrated their metal structure.
Serperior had managed to have some strong effect in terms of the goon at least, catching his leg with their tail and forcing them to collapse into a heap where they’d hope to land on their feet, groaning as they slowly tried to work themselves back up to a ready position. He could already tell from the sounds behind him the heroes were doing his job for him now. He just needed to get back to the coliseum, Muramasa’s hideout, and everything would be fi-
And now he was eating Tarmac. ‘Great’. His thoughts rung out. Right before dying out for a sec…
Next thing he knew his vision, blurry as it still was, adjusting and fixing… Red… Red. Big bundle of blurry Red. Even without really being aware of his situation he rapidly began to squirm and kick in Freya’s gasp. “NO! FUCK NO YOU CRAZY CUNTS!” His vision sharply improved, spotting Freya over his shoulder, trying to swing back at her with a wild elbow, feeling the cuffs constricting his legs as he tried to kick too, fury just BARELY covering the terrified look in his eyes. “You nutty bitch!!! The fuck you think you’re doing she’s gonna kill me you hero dunce!”
Aaaand right he was. With a lurching motion, Mia kicked harshly off the ground, shattering the tarmac where she once stood. In a single bound she was bursting towards Freya like a missile, rearing back a fist at the ready. If no one here stopped her there was about to be red paste where there was once a person, and Freya probably wasn’t coming out much better once Mia got through with that goon either!
==Additional Event==
While you all strongly hold the raging beasts attention, her chaotic rampage not aimed at the general public in any significant manner, the force she is exerting is not without it’s effects. Further down the streets where she had once been rampaging, the damaged structure of supporting pillars for a train line are buckling under the quakes barrelling towards them down the street, a loose part of the structure falling free, about to crash down on an ambulance rushing to the scene of the rescue efforts.

Too much was happening at the same time. She was trying to get Mia's attention but she should have opened her mouth. She stared at Serperior and Hellhound. Great... absolutely great. She wasn't one to take commands, she was sure the other two were better at that and she was now left behind as Mia jumped away to go after Freya. For fuck sake, the doctor swore. The thing was that she had thought for a second that Mia would click, that she would recognize her but the red brute obviously had focus issues, she should have known that. She wanted to run when she heard it. She came to a halting stop for seconds and pushed her earpiece to make contact with a voice she would always recognize. Her eyes shot shortly from blue to red but it was easily missed.
The painter.
She would never forget the terrified faces of the students outside and the awful stab wounds from the rusty knife that the redhaired student had, she had just started at Yuuei and now she was there. "Anyone already on their way?" She rushed that way, lucky for her it was the same way as Mia. She heard Elise in her ear piece, Paw Might. "If he needs backup, I will be there." She knew for sure that Elise would understand that she did not meant medical, Elise could do that and she focused her attention on Mia again. She couldn't make that jump and she blinked when someone appeared next to her. She moved to her left and almost slammed the spear into the girl but stood still and stared at the girl with her blue eyes. "Get out," But she was introduced to an ex-student and stared at the white haired girl. "Jasmine?" But she disappeared last year, she remembered that she had looked after her during the sports festival. She screwed up her face and shook her head. "No, it's far too danger-" But she cut off herself and looked at the situation, "Stay behind me and do as I say, no matter what I say." She said while gritting her teeth and she indicated for Jasmine to follow her and stay behind her, she was going to interrupt Mia. She needed Jasmine close there, after all, Mia didn't recognize her.
"Serperior, Hellhound, someone needs to save the ambulance there, I believe the path is blocked. I would also like you two to stop smacking her in the face or something, it will only make her blood boil more and it will be the opposite effect. We need to clear the area and keep her here. She needs to find something calm and soothing. I am going to try something." God why was she so slow. She looked at Jasmine one more moment and hoped her idea was a correct one as she slipped in front of Mia her way towards Freya and grabbed the taller woman her wrist. "Mia." She whispered as they stood literally face to face, she risked her name, whispering it and hoped that it would be covered by the rest of the sounds, the water, the ambulance, everything. "Try it now." Was more to Jasmine, but she could not find a way to do anything else. She hoped the girl was just as much aware as Nimue that fighting Mia wouldn't help.

Serperior wanted to curse. Unfortunately, cursing wasn’t very heroic. Neither was using a defeated enemy as live bait, however.
“Freya, what t--what are you DOING!?” Serperior shouted into his microphone, lunging forward.
If there was a camera on them right now--if Mia got onto the thug--
He couldn’t stop to think about it. Freya had given her distraction. In the worst way possible.
Serperior darted forward, committing to his attack this time. He didn’t even notice Nimue jumping between Freya and Mia--he was too focused, an arc of green scales gliding over broken asphalt. He wasn’t fast over long distances, but once he was close, he could move like, well...a striking snake.
He jammed the blunt end of his staff into the back of Mia’s knee, a repeat of his first attack. Point one--aimed to trip her, and block her momentum.
He coiled past her, planted his staff and swung around it, pinning the leg as he tried to fold it, then lashing his coiled around her thighs. Point two.
Then, he continued the coil, one more wrap around her upper body, trying to bind her arms. Third.
Which left his upper torso behind her, right above her neck.
Serperior could feel the heat of her body burning against his. The warmth made his blood beat faster, a thrill spreading through his coil, he felt awake. Alive. And angry.
“Heroes arrest villains. Heroes save people! And heroes certainly don’t take hostages!” He hissed, tightening his coil, trying to crush the air of the hulk he was anchored to. Riding the tiger. He’d wanted more time to set this up, but Freya’s gambit...and he hadn’t seen Nimue moving in.
We aren’t a team at all.
“And are you serious, Nimue? We are far past the point of calming her down. Every moment she's up is a danger!” Serperior hissed. That plan was long shattered. Just like he’d thought. One hero, too optimistic. One, too reckless. And him? Angry. “I can’t let go--ambulance is up to one of you. Let's save people.”
He reared back, and his jaw unhinged wide. His pretty face stopped being pretty. He hated doing this.
There was nothing heroic about a stretchy nightmare face with too many sharp, dripping fangs.
We worked together, once. I remember a vigilante almost killing our target. And you are trying to save them.
Serperior almost wished that he was fighting someone else right now.
It didn't stop him, however, from chomping down on the ogre's neck, and pumping his venom into her blood.

Mia in full rage was something Freya never saw until now. She is used to her kicking the daylights out of her or drinking a pool of booze but never her in an enraged state. Despite her gusto and attitude of course the hellfire heroine was scared for her damn life as she was staring at her friend twisted in rage. Hell, she’d follow Nimues footsteps if she were any wiser but her way of doing things weren't exactly sane to anyone's benefit. Soft words and actions can work on many a raging behemoth but not Mia, she’s not the type to be coddled in a situation like this. The best one can do is roar back and see how she reacts in turn and that's what exactly Freya is doing despite her colleagues words and concerns. Mostly to Serperior who had some bite to his words as he went and did his part.
“Talking high and mighty for a talking lizard! Offer the gal some meat and see how she reacts!” She yelled in response as snake eyes went for the bite. One may think its effective but knowing Mia and her tolerance to alcohol, a bit of poison ain't going to get to her unless it puts her to sleep. His words did strike a nerve as he went all high and mighty about their profession,” Heroes do their damn job and this aint a villain, this is my fucking friend you’re on about! Now unless you wanna keep talking out of your scaley ass, you leave the big league work for the professionals!”, she said as the goon started to wake up. She was of course a bit annoyed and simply dangled him once again. “Shut up cue ball”, kicking him in the head to knock him out once again. Nimue called to attention about an ambulance in need and Freya was the fastest one out of them. Of course, she jumped on the opportunity since she was never one to ignore saving lives.
“Witch Doctor, I’ll get to the ambulance and be back in a bit, just don't try and have too much fun without me”, she activates her quirk as she starts to float in the air with her flames. Quickly turning in the air and blasting way down the street as she carried the knocked out goon in her hand. He wasn't going to be any use since Mia now has a new found rage for this goon, “To all available units, this is Hellhound. I request immediate pick up of a suspect involved in the cause of this disaster.Prepare quickly since this guy is a runner. I will rendezvous up at the nearest ambulance, over”,she says as jets down the street through the desolated city blocks that Mia properly pulverized by her own might. It took a few moments for her to find the ambulance in question, it was relatively fine but the bridge above them wasn't going to hold for long.
“Give me a break here!”, she mutters to herself as she increases her speed and as soon as the rubble starts to fall onto the ambulance, she kicks the rubble out of the way. They of course were stopped since a piece of rubble fell in their way but she hopped that her words got them to go quickly.“Get a move on! This thing won't hold for long!”, she exclaimed as she kicked another piece of rubble out of the air. If the ambulance heard that and did what they were told Freya would create an impromptu blockade to warn people about the bridge.
She’d take a moment to catch her breath as another truck that had the insignia of The Hounds barreling in and coming to a stop. Some exchanges of jokes were made but time was a bit short as she handed them Speedy Gonzales. “ Keep a watchful eye on this one, the guy thinks he’s the blue blur out here. Lock his legs if you have to...”, she said to them as she tosses him into the back of the truck. Salutes and words of courage were exchanged and they were off to another part of the town where they received another call about a Family in need of pick up.
As soon as the coast was clear, she jetted her way back to where the others were. “Lets just hope Mia doesn't make herself a new snakeskin wallet before I get back..” she says to herself as she increases her flames output to speed up.

Post by Jasmine Noir on May 6, 2020 5:48:38 GMT -4
It was momentary, but Jasmine's guard had very quickly went up together with her fists when Nimue pointed her spear at her. Christ, talk about being on edge. At first it seemed like the Pro Hero wanted the wolf out of there but something made her change her mind -- whatever it was, Jasmine wasn't about to argue or question it. Considering the chaotic state of literally everything, there was no time to debate.
Things went from zero to a hundred really fucking quickly as Jasmine's twin crimson orbs scanned the perimeter in an attempt to get a handle on the situation in her head. The city was practically falling apart around them as a direct result of Mia's rampage: tarmac ripped apart, buildings beginning to collapse at the seams, water bursting forth from pipes freaking everywhere... Christ, this looked like a scene straight out of a disaster flick which only served to make Jasmine all the more aware of Red Horn's sheer brute strength.
It wasn't helping that literally every Pro Hero present seemed to have a different idea on how things were supposed to be handled. It was actually kind of infuriating. Yet, without arguing the point, Jasmine simply nodded towards Nimue's orders, sticking close behind her almost like a shadow. Witch Doctor, the pro Jasmine ended up being stuck with, seemed like she wanted a peaceful resolution to a situation that was far beyond that. Commendable, but likely a fruitless effort. Oh and of course somebody had to start a monologue about what a Pro Hero was supposed to be -- wouldn't be a day at the office without that. At least it seemed like Hellhound, beyond just trying to fix things through kicks to the face, was actually concerned with the well-being of civilians.
Seriously? Was this the first time these people were working with each other? How bad do you actually have to be to literally get in each other's way?
Wasn't she supposed to be the inexperienced student here?
"What the hell are you people doing?!" She growled, both bewildered and annoyed.
Clicking her tongue, Jasmine's inner voice very quickly went fuck that as she jumped forth into action. Whatever idea Nimue had was clearly no longer going to work courtesy of Malfoy over there going full Slytherin and whatever type of restraining tactic Draco was hoping to achieve was likely made fifteen times more difficult by Bruce Lee up top attempting the bamboozle of the century. Ugh, my head hurts. Jasmine had to actually try to do something and her mind very quickly recalled a time when she and Mia fought. Back in Semper Fi, they had their very first real spar and she remembered it like it was yesterday. There was one very specific part of that fight that Jasmine recalled - something that had her curious for a very, very long time... yet she never actually asked Red Horn about it.
"Close your eyes, now!" The ashen haired wolf warned as she brought both of her hands together, collecting a small amount of incredibly bright energy between her palms. Within a fraction of a second Jasmine was right in front of Mia and released a tiny yet stupidly blinding and deafeningly loud blast, meant to serve as a flash bang... which would not only hopefully disorient the rampaging Pro, but also mask from the others what Jasmine was about to attempt -- for Mia's own sake going forward. Then, acting fast, Jasmine would attempt to grab Mia's horn with every ounce of strength she had at her disposal, targeting the area where she knew Red Horn's scar was. If the action was successful, the wolf would do her best to try and slam Mia's face into the ground and hop onto the back of her shoulder with her knee in an attempt to restrain her, all while still holding onto her horn and while Serperior was busy with her neck.
"Come on, Horny! Throw me a bone here!" Jasmine said then as she leaned a little closer, struggling to try and hold Mia down. One last time, "How the hell are we going to finish your cabin if you get yourself locked up?!"
They couldn't fight her. They couldn't talk to her. The best middle ground here was to try and restrain her. This had to work.
--------------------
TL;DR: - Jaz got sick of everyone's crap and made that very audibly known - Popped off a flashbang and grabbed Mia's horn, attempting to slam her into the ground face-first
- If successful, would push her knee against the back of Mia's shoulder, trying to restrain her, all while still holding her horn - Attempts to get Mia out of her rage with words
