Fancy Tea and Hardtime Blues (ShadowBringer)

Having made this meeting pretty last minute, it took Taichi a little bit longer than he had anticipated to reach the cafe he had suggested. Classics, it had definitely been some time since he had gone there, and so even if this meeting was a bust, he would consider it a treat for himself. With all the shit he had endured with regards to his father, the least he could treat himself was a nice cup of tea and delicious bowl of ramen. They never failed to disappoint.

As Taichi approached the establishment, he saw a well dressed woman walk inside moments before he did but didn't attempt to get her attention. He had no idea if this was that girl, Rapture from the chat room or not so better to play it safe.

As he arrived moments later he walked into the main entrance, dressed in the usual formal attire he hated so much. A white collar dress shirt and iron black dress pants and shoes. The only indication that he might be more than a plain old businessman was the necklace he bore around his neck which saw 3 claw like bones hanging from it. It was hidden under his shirt of course, but you could still make out it's outline.

As he walked up, the woman at the reception bowed politely to the man who returned the gesture. She motioned with her hand for Taichi to follow her, and so he did. he knew where he was going of course, but out of courtesy for the staff here he just went along with the flow.

When they reached the private tearoom, the woman opened the door for him, excusing herself once Taichi was inside and leaving the two of them alone.

"Forgive my tardiness. You must be Lady Rapture, it's a pleasure to meet you in person. You know me as Shadow Bringer, but my real name is Taichi Kobayashi, first son of Thundershock and heir to the Kobayashi clan."
He introduced himself moments after the door closed behind him. He held his hand up to his chest as he did so, giving a slight polite bow before he would approach and seat himself at the table across from her.

"I hope you didn't have any trouble finding the place? Please, feel free to order anything you would like, the evening is on me."
He said politely, smiling at the young woman across from him. Rapture looked to be a bit older than him which might make things a little strange for the other woman, but Taichi would be sure to do his utmost to help a fellow quirker in need.
