One form complete, two to go... Tetsuko's match with Haruuhi had seen her making the most of her Tō Kata, the Spring Form. It had forced her to accelerate forward, to charge through the uncertainty clouding her way, the doubt that her family had left in her. To not know why she had this strength, granted to her by people she could no longer stand by, did no small amount of damage on her willpower. Yet, she had burst through the first hurdle, defeating Haruuhi despite the other girl's greater resolve... Tetsuko didn't know anymore why she had or deserved this strength, but all she could do was maintain the momentum. With a deep sigh, Tetsuko let out some of her tension, before approaching the battlefield. This time it was a recreation of Piccadilly Circus, a more open arena, yet not without some possibilities. It wasn't the most ideal arena for Tetsuko to use her next form, but she welcomed the challenge. As she stepped out, the Shindou girl glanced up to the cameras watching, wondering if her Mother and Grandfather could see how uncertain and conflicted she was as she fought. She wondered if they cared. Dispelling such thoughts from her mind once more, Tetsuko breathed deeply, facing forward and preparing to take on her opponent. Jisa... The small, adorable bunny that she was going to feel terrible at fighting... Yet, at the same time, even if she conceded that she did not have resolve as great as her opponents, Tetsuko would still not give them anything less than her all. To show them this respect, to not look down upon them... That was how she expressed her gratitude. They would show her their resolve, and Tetsuko would become someone worthy of her own strength. That was the goal. In order to achieve this aim, she needed clarity. In order to find this clarity, this wholeness, Tetsuko would resort to the one thing that had always made sense to her: swordsmanship. She would complete the first three forms of Jikishinkage-ryu, hoping that doing so in her current state would let her reach the level of understanding required for the fourth and final form... It was the only conviction she had left, but she would use it to its utmost. In the first match, had come Spring. Now, it was time for Summer. As her opponent entered the arena, Tetsuko would hold out her hand, iron flowing from her palm. A Japanese blade formed, though it was shorter than a katana. This shortsword was about the size of a wakizashi, though with a less pronounced curve. The crux of the Summer Form. "I'm sorry you have to face me, Jisa-san. Not because it's difficult... But because I'm sure, right now, your resolve is greater than mine. Even so, I will give you all I can, so please, fight with your all!The Shindou girl flourished her shortsword, before holding it out in a two handed grip. Light on her feet, she prepared to fight. It was quite strange once he was settled in the Arena and hearing the strange words from the strong opposition and fellow classmate. Her stance, weapon, posture, All of it radiating a presence of strength and power that send a shiver of worry down his spine. His fur plush and somewhat ruffled as happened at times when he became tense with ears erect pointing towards the bright blue sky above. He words only baffling him truly. Feeling a small rattle that started in his chest as he tried to digest them. The rattle slowly settling lower and lower before becoming like a rock heavy and weighted in his stomach. He wasn't quite sure what to make of what she said. He felt his body so tense for a few moments he wasn't even sure if he could move as he worried this was going to be more of a embarrassment then anything with how fast he felt she could destroy him.
It was only as his small wiggling bunny nose drew in a heavy breath was he able to regain control of his stiffening muscles. Crouching low making the small fuzzy hare only that much more of a small target. "I'm not quite sure what you mean... B-but... I won't go Down easy!" His voice carrying a small low pitch rattle to it. If he could sweat he would have been sweating bullets. But instead of sweating like a hare his breath quickened as his heart rate was through the roof.
But even so his heels tightened as he crouched his upper body and lower body lifted by his strong lower hare like feet. Crouched and coiled of sorts ready to leap and pounce the second this all began. He wanted to believe he meant to be here. That the last fight wasn't just a fluke. So often did he feel he didn't actually belong here in a place for heroes to be. But he had nothing left to go back to and no one in the past either. HE had to believe he could do this!? It's why someone like him entered the tournament at all. He had to prove not only to others, But to himself he belonged here. His body be came small and angled heels tightened to a point it almost hurt. But he was ready to move. Remaining still for the moment... Unlike the normal every day rabbit that waited or ran from all pray. A hare was often quite more of a hassle to do with when predators came calling.

"I'm sure you won't, Jisa-san. I saw your fight before... You are strong. Show me more of that strength."Tetsuko declared with a smallish smile, before going into her own stance. With her shortsword held in a low guard, she would stand fairly upright, light on her feet but with knees bent and ready to move quickly. Jisa was a very capable opponent when it came to speed and mobility, and in that sense, the Kodachi Kata was great for matching his much more nimble approach to combat. However, on the other hand... Of all the forms in Jikishinkage-ryū, the Kodachi Kata was the one Tetsuko had the least proficiency in. The tempo didn't match her own style, and it required a certain level of laxness that she just didn't have. How cruelly ironic then, that it was the same style her Mother had always specialized in... Tetsuko resisted the urge to look up at the crowd, at the same Mother who would be watching her in this strange tournament. 'I wonder... What path would you take... What path did you take?'With all this chaos in her mind, she couldn't help but wonder what to do. Yet, with the Summer Form, she only had one choice. A choice she had to act on the moment the match officially began. Tetsuko had to follow through with her momentum, and keep moving no matter what. Unpō : Suisei運法 : 水星 Motion Method : Quicksilver
Tetsuko's veins took on a metallic sheen for a moment, as she felt the iron throughout her body and took grasp of it. With vigor, the swordswoman dashed forward, shortsword held low as she came directly at Jisa. Maintain momentum, she told herself. Strike fast, she told herself. The Shindou girl raised the sword briefly, twisting a blunt blade at Jisa's form as she stepped forward. Kodachi Kata : Suisei 小太刀之形 : 水勢 Summer Form : Momentum of Water
Yet, she couldn't quite get the footwork right, and staggered slightly beforehand... Images of Haruuhi's crying face flashed briefly in her mind. This momentum... Would be hard to keep.

It was a bit uneasy feeling when the fight truly began. A sensation of anxiety and weakness rattled into his small fuzzy core just as before. The anxious feelings of knowing he wasn't a fighter just as before. But as was the limitations he wanted to face head on and push against. Hence his participation in the tournament to begin with. But even so just as before with a deep breath and a lightly rattled breath he was quick to move. Not allowing himself to become a weight of worry, But instead using his speed and light weight to kick into action.
Initially his first intent like the hare he was mutated like his initial leap was one to flee. The blade missing it's mark at least it's main intent. His side and upper leg perhaps lightly as well given how he was a small target so hitting him covered a good percentage of surface area compared to a normal sized youth and size. A twinge of harsh pain lightly echoing through his leg up his side. The sensation of it giving him a mild idea of the kind of power she likely held. It was enough to make that little voice and tension inside his head to not be so little anymore. His ears tensing up erect towards the sky in surprise and worry as he briefly hit his feet from his backwards hop. His whiskers tensed as well and his nose wiggling erratically with each tiny breath.
The soreness was painful but not enough to stop him. Although he was somewhat extremely worried of what a non stumbling full power strike might do to him. But as this was battle he didn't really have longer then a fraction of a second to let those thoughts process or only partially process that is. Kicking off the ground thinking a bit from his last fight and hoping he could pull a fast one on her a bit more intricate then last match. She was fast but so was he... although he worried she was likely much faster even if he had rabbit body traits. But even still he'd try wondering if her stumble would supply a opening.
Leaping forward but high he would 'attempt' to leap somewhat at but truly over her. His idea and attempt to hopefully psyche her out and make her think he was rushing straight at her in a leaping jump just as he did all last fight. But instead he'd attempt to leap over her and if he was lucky enough to get the opening. Leap upwards towards her back and attempt to perform a double hare thump with both feet aimed at her back to hopefully try and knock her forward if possible. Or so he'd hope at least in his attempts feeling his nerves forever stuck in his throat all the while.
--- -Jisa hare leaps back feeling a strike in his side and upper leg, Sending painful waves through his body and some soreness. -Jisa would attempt to psyche Tetsu out if she'd seen his prior fight leaping at her making her hopefully believe he was doing a rushing attack to get her to defend. -But his true attempt being to try and leap over her and quickly land her and leap and twist in the air from behind and try to double foot drop kick hare foot thump her in the back.

'Dammit! I could control the momentum!'Tetsuko scolded herself internally as her blade missed its mark, saving Jisa from a clean hit and giving him the chance to strike back. If she couldn't maintain the momentum, Tetsuko wasn't going to be able to keep up with Kodachi Kata. It was a delicate dance, and letting her turmoil get to her would only leave her out of step... Jisa made some distance between them, which worried Tetsuko. He was a hare, so it would make sense that he had strong legs. He could probably use a gap for quick, hit-and-run attacks... As he came back in, it seemed like he was trying to just that, using his own speed and powerful kicks to put her on the defensive! The Kodachi Kata was the weakest form defensively, so Tetsuko wasn't about to let that happen. She unleashed another thrust forward, maintaining the Momentum of Water for another attack... Falling into Jisa's trap as he leapt right over her! It was plainly apparent he was going to try and attack her from the back, so she needed to pivot - quickly. Kodachi Kata : Husei小太刀之形 : 水勢 Summer Form : Momentum of WindTetsuko spun rapidly on the spot, keeping her arm extended as she pivoted on her foot, turning 180 degrees just in time to deflect Jisa's kick with the flat of her blade. The Kodachi Kata had a number of techniques for maintaining and redirecting momentum in any direction. Momentum of Water sent it forward, Momentum of Wind was for lateral movement. However, as she had still been turning when she deflected Jisa's kick, Tetsuko was still knocked a bit backward! Not wanting to be put on the defensive, as she staggered backward, Tetsuko brought her leg around, aiming a turning kick towards Jisa to try and ward him off! Kodachi Kata : Toppi-Ouhi 小太刀之形 : 突非押非 Summer Form : Sudden Force
These movements were so awkward to her, put she persevered... How did her Mother, a master of this form, ever maintain this strange momentum? It frustrated her to not know, to not be able to live up to that... To not be able to imitate that which she admired so much was truly a troubling thought...

His fuzzy feet as he launched forward found only contact upon her blade and not her back as she hoped. Her fluid swordsman ship and training showing as her less skilled opponents maneuver was bested. Jisa himself gulping in the couple seconds of contact that occurred here. The sensation of it all feeling like a small eternity nearly as the light recoil along with his nerves send a riveting shiver from his ankles all the way up through his spin and what felt like into the tips of his ears where it ended. Thankfully the blow was at least enough to knock her back a bit as he tried to leap back in the recoil of the push. If he had the ability to sweat he would have been sweating bullets at the worry of any counter attack as her sword send a sense of intimidation through him. Opposing someone with weapons like this wasn't something he was used too. Mia's blaster being a ranged weapon had given him a little more time to think given he was quick footed hare. But this was a bit different... His instincts likely relating to a hare who saw a bird of prey watching from above with talons sharpened.
But he didn't escape that easily either as she spun and a kick still hit him hard in the coming motions and maneuvers. While he tried to avoid it and flee it proved impossible as a strong and audible whack was hurt even as the blade hit fur sending him flying a few feet off to the side briefly landing on his hip and rolling a couple times back before he managed to toss back to his feet. Of course the moment he was on his feet he was quick to start moving again hoping from spot to spot albeit with a light delay compared to his normal speed as his side and hip were extremely sore. While nothing was broken at the moment he felt another blow like that might shatter something if he wasn't careful. Oddly enough he wondered if he should fear her legs more then her sword now given the pain he was feeling.
"I might not be as strong and super as most or maybe all others in this tournament! But you aren't gonna beat me easily... I'm gonna be a hero too!" He'd say as the pain clouded his mind a bit and perhaps even a bit of anger from taking a wound like that so easily. His speed... She kept up so easily though... It made him uneasy as that was normally his main skill he'd lean on with his hare like skills and body.
While it wasn't perhaps the wisest idea he knew he had to act fast. This wasn't a three person fight like last time so he had to be more aggressive. Trying to control his breathing as he launched himself forward leaping from side to side in a light zig zag as he approached trying to make himself perhaps a little harder to keep track of. Crouching lightly as pressure built in his ankles and heels before launching while still a few feet away from her. While he was no expert fighter by any means he would attempt what would to him seem like a good idea. Instead of leaping directly for her he'd aim for her lower legs and shins. If her stance was wide he'd aim to try and tumble between her legs moving forward in the shot jump forward trying to either knock her over but also while going in flailing his small arms trying to scratch at her heels and legs as he flew by IF things worked out to try and maybe weaken her stance a bit. Maybe if he could hurt her legs or slow her down... he might stand a chance. Hoping his delayed speed wouldn't make this move a suicide one as well.
--- -Jisa was hit hard with the kick in the recoil and sent flying a short distance and rolled several times before getting to his feet , For a time his speed seems lightly delayed as their is a soreness in his side and hip area. | -Jisa being unsure how what to do resorts to being aggressive! Zig zagging when running towards Tetsu again, Leaping but this time instead of jumping at her for a thump attack he aims for her lower legs with his small body. Trying to fly through her legs if stance allowed or knocking her over being her attempt as well if he could. Wanting to try and flail his arms in attempt as well to scratch at her lower legs and heels with his small rabbit claws.

Her combination proved successful, knocking the hare to the side in a rough display that did plenty of damage... Dammit, even now, she couldn't watch her opponent get hurt without feeling that guilt strike her inside. What right did she have to cause them pain, to break them down and beat them, when she herself didn't have anything near matching their 'resolve'. It didn't feel right at all, to win because she was stronger, yet not because she deserved that strength... It felt unjust and wrong, yet... If she wanted to improve herself, to become actually worthy of that strength, what choice did she have but to maintain her momentum? 'Dammit... How can I hope to do this... Even if I was like you... How do I stop doubting this path?'Even if she looked, she wouldn't find or hear her mother, so these questions were futile... All the Shindou girl could do was try to remember, try to think back on the woman she'd known, and think about what she would have done. About the 'path' to take, and about how to remain certain of her own strength, despite her uncertainty towards its source... If Tetsuko did not deserve to be strong, she at least wanted to know how to remain true to the path that would lead her to worthiness! With little team to battle these internal threats, the external opponent soon rose, Jisa looking fairly banged up but still in the fight. Good, Tetsuko wanted him to give his all, and to make sure he got every chance to show how strong he was... He seemed to have every intention of doing just that, and for a moment, Tetsuko faltered again, her grip loosening. "Very well... Your resolve is greater than mine. If I win, know that it is not because of that..."Tetsuko uttered, tightening her grip as Jisa launched in once again! His speed and momentum were impressive, showing a fluidity far beyond what Tetsuko had... But her own defense was able to hold up quite well. Or, it would, if these movements were not suddenly feeling so awkward to her... Jisa launched in with a zig-zag, but Tetsuko didn't waste too much energy trying to watch his movements. She'd seen this trick before, and knew the best way to deal with it was to wait until they actually went in to strike, and then she would move. The principle of post-initiative aided her well... But, once more, hesitation got the better of her. While considering how to respond to his attack, Jisa made a clever move, going for her legs instead. With the shorter reach of her blade, she was at a disadvantage, and he dashed right into her legs. For a moment, she tensed up, ready to kick him again... But once again, she hesitated. She saw how much it had damaged him before, and such a humiliating swat away... That thought had Jisa barrel into her legs, cutting up her ankles as Tetsuko fell forward. Rolling to recover, she'd quickly pivot on her knee, turning her around as she grit her teeth, her legs now battered and bleeding from that attack. Dammit, she couldn't keep going on like this... If she hesitated at every attack, Jisa's resolve would overpower her, and she... Would not be able to fulfill that promise she'd made. There had at to be another 'path'... Maybe... A flash of inspiration came to her mind, her Mother's words filling her head. Her art was the art of finding the greatest 'path', and this whole time she'd been considering her hesitation as something to discard... But what if she factored it in, and found the best path in spite of it... Yes, she could do that... She could finish this without worrying about hesitation. For a moment, it seemed like a cop-out... But if it was the best way to maintain her momentum... Yes, this was the only path. "Not a bad trick, Jisa-san... You're a good fighter."Tetsuko remained in a kneeling stance, moving her weight forward, before springing off towards Jisa at a low position! Once more, she threw out a powerful thrust, this time from her low stance... Kodachi Kata : Suisei小太刀之形 : 水勢 Summer Form : Momentum of WaterHowever, even if Jisa didn't move at all... Her attack would miss. A purposeful miss, at that. The blade would shoot past the bunny boy, and lead in to Tetsuko's actual attack, as she suddenly pulled the blade back suddenly, aiming to catch Jisa with the back of the shortsword and bring him in close! There wasn't much impact to it, but it would be a powerful pull! Kodachi Kata : Kissaki Kaeshi 小太刀之形 : 切先返 Summer Form : Rending Return

Jisa scratched and scuffed at Tetsuko's legs quickly ducking and rolling trying and luckily getting a attack to work. His blood was pumping and his heart pounding hard in his chest as he was constantly on edge and his nerves a powerful bundle of anxiety. Even if she hesitated and seemed a bit off balance compared too usual he still couldn't calm down given who he was fighting was constantly hanging over him metaphorically in a small form of terror. This was a intense battle compared to the type of training and hero training Jisa was used too. Watching her stumble and fall made him feel a little bad though. As well as the scent of blood lightly making his sense of smell unpleasant with his enhanced senses. Jisa felt himself sneeze lightly as it tainted his senses and made it harder to focus with such a smell so close.
She came at him yet again quickly though as he quickly tried to leap back away from the attack not realizing it was merely a feint of sorts. "I don't know what you're talking about... You're resolve is great too! You don't have to hold back on me!" He'd say with a light frown looking a little saddened. He wondered was she merely holding back and stumbling to avoid hurting him? Was he being pandered too. As he spoke his eyes flashed surprised as her attack worked the blunt end of her blade smacking hard into his back Causing him to smack and fall landing close to her. Struggling briefly on his knees and all fours. The shiver in his small body made it clear it hurt quite a bit for him. His small body not nearly as defended as his foes. "You don't have to go easy on me. If I win I want to win right... Don't worry about being real with me... I'm not weak like people think I am." It seemed he somewhat didn't understand fully. He seemed to think maybe he was being seen as weak as he often felt people saw him as. How he at times felt to himself he was. He looked up at her with a almost pleading sad eyes of worry. Hoping he hadn't been judged as unworthy. But to test if she would awaken her true skill and power. He would test it hoping for a small opening.
Kicking up with both the leaping force of his arms and legs ceasing the close range even with his sore back now. Aiming to leap straight up like a hard projectile and aim to try and slam the top of his head towards Tesuko's chin and her or face. He would force her to use her best. He didn't want to be seen as weak or let down his foe either.
--- -Jisa flees back trying to dodge teh false attack and thus falls into the real attack. briefly falls to his all fours in pain from the back of attack. -Jisa leaps off from all fours at Tetsu from the ground aiming his top of his head to try and smash into Tetsu's chin and or face.

"I'm not holding back... I'm fighting my own weakness too!" Tetsuko responded quickly, the resolve on her face with this newfound strategy of hers speaking volumes about the girl's own will and seriousness. Her feint succeeded, and Tetsuko struck Jisa in the back, forcing him closer in their conflict. Remaining in her kneeling stance, the swordswoman once again heard his words, and despite it all... Could not help but smile lightly. Weakness and strength... Such words were starting to lose their meaning to Tetsuko. For she was 'strong', but right now, felt so incredibly 'weak'. Her doubts and hesitation, all boiling within, had left her without much of the 'strength' she was supposedly known for. It was becoming clearer to her know. Before worrying over why she was 'strong', she needed to recognize that her strength might be lost if she kept up this 'weakness'... So she had to persevere, to move on and fight, to accept her strength and weakness as a whole...
...And move with both in mind; one could not fight fully without knowing their weakness, after all. Fortunately, Tetsuko had an idea of how to bypass her own 'hesitation' in injuring Jisatsu...
"You aren't weak at all, Jisa-san. Nor am I as strong as they say..." Tetsuko uttered plainly, staring down the rabbit, narrowing her eyes and showing she was just as focused on winning as he was. "Nevertheless, I will show you my 'momentum'. Don't let up yours."
Jisa quickly moved back onto the attack, this time aiming for a head butt at Tetsuko's chin. Blocking would be difficult, but Tetsuko didn't need to do that much; she wanted Jisa to get in closer. The boy's head collided with her chain, the impact rattling Tetsuko for a moment as she swayed back to disperse the force, controlling it, letting it flow through her. She waited for the moment right after Jisa had struck, and then, carried the force of his own attack into her next move.
As she swayed back, seemingly from the force of the blow, Tetsuko quickly brought up her blade again, channeling that momentum into an upward slash that tried to catch Jisa with the back of her blade!
'Summer Form... Gentle Cycle!'
Tetsuko would try and catch him with the impact, and then, lift Jisa up and throw the boy's body to the ground with her blade, aiming to take him to the ground! It wouldn't be with much force, but it would hopefully be enough to keep him there. Tetsuko followed up by rearing her blade back, dropping down further, and stabbing it into the ground right next to his arm...
She paused a moment, ready to respond, or continue trying to pin Jisa if she got the chance!

She was fast, This had become relevant early on even if at times Tetsu hadn't seemed to be on her best A game or maybe hesitated from moment to moment. Her moves were still quick and naturally the training she had endured and been through shined through. Even with Jisa's quick hare reaction times and quick footed speed it was and extreme labor to try and remain in a even close equal footing with his opponent. His heart was racing to the point and his legs feeling the burn he could feel it taking its major toll. He had to give it us all to keep up it felt like as the what felt like a severely uphill battle continued.
"I won't let up... I can still fight Tetsuko." His words lightly paired with heavy breaths. His quickened heart rate making his breathing becoming more and more heavy. He'd say as the motions took shortly after. He managed to smash his head into her. One of his few actual attacks given he relied heavily on hit and run tactics for his combat strategies. Although as he tried to pull back as what as he normally did. Before his feet hit the ground again and he could leap back again he felt a harsh smack of the back of Tetsuko's blade. The collision crashing into his small chest and given how small his body was he felt the echoing pain like shock waves through several ribs in small tremors. It didn't feel like anything broke persay but all the wind left his body briefly as a little spit and small speckles of crimson shot from his mouth as he was knocked back. His fur worn down from the battle and not that defensive as it had been at the start.
Before he knew it he was on the ground scrambling to try and get to his feet. But Tetsu would see a tremble of fear in his eyes when the blade stabbed in the ground near him. The arm flinching inward naturally perhaps the sound or crunch of the stab and fear of it causing a moment of shock within himself. But before he knew it the superior warrior had pinned him. His only resistance came while with what might he could use was to try and lift his legs. Kicking in what would equate to Jisa's feet thumping like a rabbit may do to someone who got close. His small arms did little to help him beyond his claws. And being pinned would have made those all but useless as the small fuzzy frame under Tetsuko struggled wriggling albeit in pain while doing so. Kicking his feet up in as many rabbit thumping upward stomps as he could while on his back. Doing what he could but his options were becoming increasingly limited by the moment. Victory in many ways all but lost but the body still fought and resisted all the same.
"N-no, I w-won't give up..." He'd say in a small stutter and wispy perhaps even weak breath as he spoke during these actions. --- -After Jisa's hit, The blow to his chest from the back of her blade sends pains of tremors through him and sends him knocked back into the ground. (Seemingly harmed from this one)
-Jisa flinches his arm inward after the stab while on his back. likely making it easier to pin him as well
-He would likely be easily pinned but raise his small feet attempting to struggle in rapid and sporadic upward thumps similar to a rabbit thumping in defense. His leg strength in a last ditch struggle perhaps to break free or fight however he could until the end.

'Striking' an opponent was the easiest or most difficult thing one could do, depending on the circumstances.
Compared to the other forms of taking down on opponent, landing a successful strike required much less finesse. An amateur boxer could easily land a fluke of a blow against a professional. The difficulties of striking, however, came with the fact that, in order to be successful with their strikes... One had to be committed to them. They had to be ready to hurt their opponents, ready to break and crush.
The Tetsuko there now was going to have difficulty doing that with the force of a finishing blow, and she didn't want to risk crushing the bunny with a decisive strike... Her own self-doubt, her own inadequacy compared to the resolve of her opponent, these were all 'weaknesses' she needed to overcome. Her attacks at this point had been more 'pushing' than 'breaking', and as she wasn't able to push herself to the latter, she needed another method of winning this fight.
Fortunately, her art was known for its versatility, so if she channeled that, followed her strengths and weaknesses to their conclusion with her own natural momentum... Then the swordswoman would be able to finish this form, and this fight, with respect for her foe.
Having pinned Jisa down, all that was left for Tetsuko was to try and put him in a submission hold and finish the fight! The Shindou girl pulled back her hand, ready to deliver a chop, before Jisa made his final struggling attempts, kicking up at her with surprisingly powerful legs. One kick caught her off guard, striking her clean on the nose. Blood dripped out, but Tetsuko followed through with her plan.
The Shindou girl grit her teeth down to endure the pain, and throw her hand down towards Jisa's collar. With a knife-hand position, she'd press him against the ground, not quite against his neck, but angled such that her fingers would press against the side. This wouldn't 'choke' him, but would put further pressure on the boy.
As she did that, Tetsuko would grab Jisa's arm, around the wrist, twisting his hand face down, before pushing the arm up so that the joint would be against the back of her embedded knife. She'd continue putting the pressure on, causing a bit of pain but ensuring her motions were 'soft' and no breaking would occur.
'Summer Form: Folding Tea Cloth!'
Having pinned down his neck and arm, all she had to do was weather his kicks and hope he surrendered, or that pressing against his collar would quicken his tiring!
"Jisa-kun... I say this honestly... You are strong! Yield!

The scent of blood some of his own and hers from the kick he managed to land hit his nose. His strong sense of smell had made sure most blood that had spilled or the grime of sweat from combat had been noticed by his strong sniffer. But even with some strong blows landing as he was overtaken, Overtaken still he was. He still kicked and wriggled even as such efforts slowly became more and more difficult as the superior fighter put him in such a set of holds that his arm became immobile as well as pressed into her blade causing a light sting of pain. The feeling at his throat was one that the harder he resisted as well the more he found himself shortened on breath and his body quickly exhausting as well as even worse being he was already rather tired from the quick sprinting and style of combat he used. Being a being of speed and agility he was moving almost constantly in combat scenarios and training. Even with his strengthened stamina training it still often drained his inner fuel faster then a cracked gas can.
His body wriggled as he fought to knee her any way he could or shove with strong leg strength but the proximity combined with his withering energy and exhausted mind as well as fatigue took hold made it hard to do any actual damage at this point. He continued into the struggle for a short time even after it likely had become clear the uphill battle had now become such a upward tilt all he could do was tumble back down the hill. He'd attempted to climb this mountain in a sense and had only been sent tumbling back down after using his best of efforts.
After the short time was taken his breathing was raspy gasps as it was hard to breath with his heart racing as hard as it was like a true hares heart within his chest. His heat built up as well as it was hard to cool down especially being pinned down and already heated from the combat. His head was cloudy and he truly felt dizzy as well. He knew this feeling and he knew shoving forward would lead to him passing out. Similar had happened in his first tournament when he fought the girl with black fire.
"I guess... Victory is lost at this point..." He'd say between raspy breaths as the sting in his arm and stress on his windpipe had become to much. He had enough fuzzy wits to make that deduction. His kicking strength and wriggling was all but gone and done as well now. If he had ever even come close to having the tools to win this fight they had since been stripped from him over the course of the battle.
Jisa would give a signal with what freedom he had with his small hands and stubby rabbit fingers. The signal one of forfeit, Saying it was a bit difficult so the signal was used instead. If she'd let up enough for him to speak better he may have used the opening to gained a bit more energy and breath and kept fighting. So the hand signal had been a better sense of forfeit for the ending of things.
Even once she was off him it would take some time before he could rise. Breathing heavily with a heard pounding so hard in his chest he could feel the pressure hard in his chest and light pain from it even. He'd need time to lay there for a few moments and allow his body to cool and relax again. He had been... defeated.
---- Jisa continues to struggle for awhile, But between draining energy, weakening breath, and heart racing painfully and overheating issues. He eventually yields and signals a surrender of sorts.

Tetsuko continued to hold her submission hold, even as a struggling Jisa continued to bruise and scratch her. Gritting her teeth, she took full advantage of her sturdy body, willing to take the punishment if it meant forcing him to submit. Although her hold wasn't as fast-acting as your traditional blood choke, this method would still be effective in tiring him out. A hold like this was like quicksand; the more you struggled, the more you just tired yourself out.
Teeth grit hard, muscles tensing with each blow, Tetsuko held Jisa down, hoping to Heaven that he'd give in before she hid to try and deliver a finishing blow. The damage would be quite severe at this position... Fortunately, however, that never came, and Jisa finally submitted. The moment he forfeited, Tetsuko released the pressure, falling back onto her knees and panting lightly.
Her body was sore and stung by Jisa's struggling, her nose unpleasantly blocked by blood. After wiping it from her face, Tetsuko stood up herself, helping Jisa to his feet too if necesary.
She'd done it, without unnecessary bloodshed. Tetsuko had used her own momentum, found the path she needed, and utilized the flexibility and flowing speed of the Kodachi Kata... It was a relief, yet also not satisfying. Tetsuko was starting to realize just how far she had to go...
Though, if there was one unambiguously positive takeaway from this match... One that she could look to for reassurance... Well, at least Tetsuko could see for certain that she had been surprised by Jisa's skill and prowess. Giving a smile to the boy, Tetsuko would straighten her legs and bow to him.
"Thank you for the fight, Jisa-san. You were truly strong, and I wish you the best of luck... I am sorry if my resolve could not match yours, even if my strength was greater. But I promise to improve myself as well."
With that, this round was ever, and Tetsuko was moving on next to the semi-finals...
Spring and Summer had come, now, with change more necessary than ever, would Tetsuko find solace in Autumn?
