APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Tenya is a somewhat tall man compared to most- seemingly on the shorter end of average when it comes to the world of quirked up goodies and baddies fighting each other. He carries a muscular, athletic build from years of training. He has a head of dark red, windswept hair that usually falls somewhere just above his shoulders. If one were to look closely at his skin, they would be able to see his skin was pocked in burn scars nearly everywhere aside from his head. He claims that he got these from improper training of his quirk when he was younger.
Most of the time the man dresses lazily. Nothing more than a white T-shirt and a pair of warm-up pants. When it gets colder he has a decent looking winter coat, had, and scarf, but they look like they're worn and ragged things that you could find at a flea market and, even then, he doesn't drop the warm-ups.
His suit stands out in comparison. The metal-plated suit that he wears is, by contrast, kept polished and maintained at all times. People would call him obsessed but creating and improving his creation has been a passion project of his.

Personality:
Tenya is an odd grab-bag of personality traits. On the outside he seems really lazy simply because his appearance and the way he carries himself is a bit more than to be desired, and he does little more laze about with a beer in hand when he's at home. He's quite uncouth in the way he treats other people, often never bothering to speak formally or show respect to strangers that he meets. He often finds his 'normal life' boring an unproductive, refusing to be defined by the part-time retail job that he's worked for the past several years.
When he's 'out in the field' as he likes to call it, he tends to be brash and strong-headed. He tends to take risks that others would find insane for the sake of a thrill. His actions have the tendency to risk the lives of himself and others as he does not have the proper heroics training or mindset despite his claims for otherwise. He views villains and dangerous situations more as challenges to overcome for his own satisfaction than a situation where people must be saved.
He likes to think himself a foodie, but this really just ends up being him making different variations of stir-fry and patting himself on the back.

HISTORY
Tenya was a second generation quirker. They were quite well off all considered, living off of the wealth of the family estate meant that only his father had to hold a stable job. He was the middle child with two sisters, with the youngest being his twin. His parents were already in their fifties when Tenya was born. He was carefree as a child, never having to worry for anything, but grated against the expectations of his parents. His mother had grown up hiding her quirk, squashing her own secret dreams of heroism for the sake of carrying on as a traditional housewife, and he was expected to repress himself all the same.
He hated the stifling expectations that were heaped upon him his entire life. He wanted to be a boxer growing up. He doesn't remember why, exactly, but it was a dream that his father was vehemently against the notion. He was expected to uphold tradition and work at his father's company until he eventually inherited it. Later in his life he would say he hated the underlying nepotism of that idea, but at the time all that mattered was his dad not letting him do as he pleased. So he practiced on his own, through means of his own training regimens disguised as study sessions, through martial artists that were willing to train him in secret. It didn't matter to him how, but he would teach himself how to fight to fulfill his dreams.
Somewhere along the line, perhaps it was the media's focus on super-powered crime and crime-fighters, he thinks, his focus started to move towards heroism. Of course, institutions like U.A. didn't exist while he was growing up, and his efforts were scorned by all in his family aside from his little sister. His failure to pass entrance exams and lack of desire actually attend university would eventually lead to a falling-out with most of his family, he has since been cut off and practically disowned. He lived rather destitute for several years until his little sister eventually graduated from university and moved out on her own. He now lives with her, working part-time while pursuing a life in heroics.
