Recovering from her earlier bout was not an easy task for Feng. Much of her feelings remained jumbled as her talk with Yumi cleared up many things but also instilled seeds of doubt as well. She is much less angrier than before but she more or less felt empty right now as she is now in the losers bracket of the tourney. The situation itself was not why she was sad but more or less the events that caused her to feel this way weighed heavily on her heart. The strait jacket came off as she regained free movement of her hands. She of course changed into her spare fighting outfit that was more or less the article of clothing he had been using since the start of the year. Her burns stung like nothing else on her left side as she recalled the rail gun grazing the side. It didn't hit her directly but it burned quite a bit. She did her best to remedy it by wrapping it in bandages and taking some painkillers to ease the pain. Practicing a few quick jabs and kicks in the air to make sure everything was still working. The sound of the wind whistling as she did her usual before making the final preparations.
The pain started to go away as each did her warm ups. The healers at this hospital were quick and much of her injuries were healed up aside from some deeper wounds. She is almost back into her full form with only her equipment being a mess, as it was tattered and burned from the previous fight against the thunder cloaked red head. The feeling of nostalgia can be felt as she looked the first version of her old outfit. It did wonders for her emotional state as it calmed her down as it felt exactly the same as she remembered it and recalled much of her old ideology as she moved in it like it was nothing.
Her caretakers during this time of course stared at her with concerned eyes as if she was going to attempt to smash her head into the wall. But she took a deep breath and simply bowed to them before exiting the room. They were worried for a reason and a simple talk isn't going to lift the weight from her chest all at once. It was gradual and healing, but much of her anger lingered in her for the meantime. She can’t bring herself to hate Yumi but she can’t quickly forgive her either, she can’t bring herself to talk to Red either as it will only distract her even more. Her best choice is to hold it close to her heart and make sure she keeps her focus on the now
“[smear:#12882e]Feng...how are you feeling?-Better than before but I can't bring myself to answer that yet, Fei[/smear:#bd1f19:0]”, Fei began to speak in turn as Feng walked down to the tournament stadium. “[smear:#bd1f19]A simple talk isn't going to change what I did and we still have a fight to do...So you made the smart choice for once and chose to keep your personal feelings out of this for once?[/smear:#12882e:0]”, the exchange continued as Feng had no good argument as Fei made really good points each time she spoke.
Heading towards the arena was more difficult than she remembered. Not physically but more mentally as she has the whole two voices in one deal going on now. No time to question it or process it as she needs to keep her mind serene and calm for the fight that's ahead of her. The only choice now is to keep moving forward and never looking back. She added to her list of regrets and she doesn't plan on adding any more now. From this point on, she will do everything for herself and herself alone. No matter the cost or sacrifices she needs to make. For once in her life, she will become selfish for her own sake. She wants to prove that she is worth it and that heartbreak will not bring her down much longer. The injury ached as she touched it and it stung as she took each step.
Each footstep echoing down the hall as she saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Her eyes glowing bright yellow and green as she got closer and closer. Both voices were in sync as they heard the announcer call out their name and seeing the new battlefield. It was more to what she was used to, not her type of city but it was a familiar site to anyone who has lived in modern suburbia for a long time. The screens flashing various ads for different companies, the statue in the middle, and the ground felt solid and familiar. She doesn't know who her opponents are due to her extended time in the infirmary, but her clothes and bandages on her arm flowed thanks to the cool breeze. The injuries did not bring her down and she only wanted to bring on the fight, pain no longer became an issue as she recovered from her injuries but hiding the damage from her last fight was more important. She can’t show her family at home that she is still, the same as she was before. Her self confidence burned bright as she took a deep breath and slowed exhaled to get her blood warmed up.
“[smear:#bd1f19] Fei, can you promise me to only watch and never take the wheel? That's what I was planning on doing, this is your problem and I’ll just watch like I always did[/smear:#12882e:0]”, she said to herself in her mind as she closed her eyes.”[smear:#12882e]..But do expect me to point out some things since it gets boring as shit in here...deal just make sure its relevant and useful and not shit…”[/smear:#bd1f19:0], the exchange continued as she got into a neutral stance. Internal thoughts started to go silent as she purged her mind of her remaining feelings and emotions as she waited for the signal to start fighting.

She had really really wanted to win that fight against Tetsuko... or well, against anyone really! She had hoped that her first appearance in the Festival Tournament would leave a lasting impression! No matter how flashy she managed to be with Gadian, she had still lost in a pretty epic way. She had suffered a fracture to her collar bone along with several scrapes and bruises. While Tetsuko had tried not to inflict any debilitating damage, it was to be expected in these kinds of matches.
Thankfully, the healers here were amazing, and the fracture wasn`t so severe that she had to be pulled out of the tournament all together. She had been given enough time to heal both her physical wounds, and reflect on the mental wounds. That hadn`t been easy, though with Gadian`s help, and the help of James and her parents, she was able to coax herself into taking part of the second bracket of the tournament. She had another chance, and this time she couldn`t screw it up. She was nervous as well though.
`Maybe this isn`t such a good idea Gadian... I mean, this time im fighting two people instead of one...` Haruuhi spoke to the Robotic dog at her heel through their radiowave connection. She was getting anxious, though found it almost impossible to rile herself up as much as before thanks to the medication the doctors and nurses had given her to keep it under wraps.
Gadian nudged her hand as they walked towards the battle area before speaking to her in a reassuring tone.
`You`re being very brave master. To be able to get back on that stage, even after having lost, will just prove to everyone that you aren`t a quitter. That even if your tech breaks, even if I break, we`re going to keep coming back. Nothing can keep us down.` He attempted before running ahead of Haruuhi onto the open arena. Robodog stared at Feng for a moment, barking once at her before rushing back towards Haruuhi, running a circle around her before falling at her heel again.
Haruuhi inhaled deeply, nodding her head at her companions positive thoughts and adjusting the helmet on her head. There were visible sauter marks on the helmet where Haruuhi had fixed the previous break. Her visor however was still split at her right eye, uncovering the corner of her eye jsut enough for people to see inside if they really looked in.
When she walked onto the fighting arena, she placed herself at her starting mark, fumbling through her pockets before taking hold of two items, one in each hand. Now it was just to wait for the third participant before they got started. Unlike Feng though, Haruuhi didn`t brace herself into a fighting stance. In fact, she and Gadian looked completely relaxed just standing there on the field.

He still hadn't really acknowledged what had happened in the first round, simply allowing himself to recover from the fight and funneling food into his body to regain the required energy to continue. Luka wasn't going to be able to really focus on what was going on if he let himself think about the fight against Red. Instead, he maintained the mindset he had used for that fight, distinguishing it from his normal thought processes by using the hero name he had chosen while allowing many of his less human instincts to take charge. Until this tournament was done for him, Luka von Eisenberg would be the Slime, Genesis, first and foremost, and Gensis didn't have time for introspection. Not when there were battles to win. He could reflect on his fights when he was done.
Thankfully, he hadn't really been injured in his first fight, beyond one real strike, he'd unfortunately simply used up far too much energy to continue. With that restored thanks to considerable food consumption, he was more or less back to full strength and ready to see how well he handled the next fight. This time he would be facing two other students in a three way free for all, and worse than that, he had no idea what they were capable of. Not really, beyond seeing a little of one of them on the Student Chat, he had no idea what they were capable of. He could only hope that they were in a similar situation so that his abilities were unknown as well, otherwise he was clearly on the back foot.
Once again, he would need to use his head if he wanted to have any chance of winning. He wasn't naturally powerful like so many of his peers, so all he could do was remain tactical, be careful, and hope that he could outwit them in some way or another. There were so many variables, so many unknowns, he couldn't come up with a viable plan before the match began, and so he simply allowed himself to rest, his mind going blank as he waited for the call to battle. Minutes or hours past without his attention, until his name was called and he rose mechanically to his feet, his movements slow and calm. Genesis was ready for whatever was to come, he would try and fight, try and win, and if he couldn't he would at least make sure that his opponents, and any viewers, knew what he was capable of.
Emerging into the replica of part of the city, Genesis' gaze scanned the area, trying to make sure he had a good understanding of the location of the fight, before his attention turned to the two girls equidistant from the center, himself, and each other. His opponents for this fight. One already in a ready stance, the other standing calmly with her hands in her pockets... and was that a robot dog? So there was another problem on the field already, not just the people but a further spanner in the works. There was still so much unknown about his opponents, and there wasn't nearly as much cover in this arena to really get a chance to observe what they were capable of while remaining hidden.
Genesis' entrance wasn't flashy, he had walked into the arena casually and calmly, every bit of nervousness forcibly repressed for a future freakout, right now it was a matter of ensuring that he was capable of continuing. It was hard to properly assess the threats of his opponents, he couldn't determine who the best target was, how they would react, and above all, what they were capable of. His initial assessment was that the girl with the robot dog was a good first target, she was probably Support Course and likely had more tricks than that up her sleeve. Genesis was not discounting someone from support, he was wary of what she was capable of. Besides which, perhaps the other girl would also see her as a bigger threat, and then they could team up for a time to take down one of the trio. A three way fight had the potential to be very messy, and Genesis was definitely not in his favoured position for such a conflict.
It was going to be down to instinct and luck then. With that thought, he readied himself to fight, deliberately taking up a somewhat sloppy fighting stance. It was a risk, they might decide to target him first, but on the other hand, it could also mean they were more likely to take one another on first, and leave the 'weaker' enemy for defeat at their leisure. The latter case would be ideal for him, but at least in the former he would have a slight advantage of surprise, as they might underestimate him. It was a gamble, but it seemed like his best option for the time being.

Feng kept her eyes trained on her opponents as they made their entrances into the battlefield. They looked familiar enough: one being Haruuhi who was the last person to go up against due to her building her gadget and Luka is someone who was a fellow 2-A classmate. She recalls from their limited interactions, most of it is a blur aside from sound and other being a sibling of a former student. But she takes the time to observe them as they are now on the field and figure out something on her own limited knowledge.
“Support and a Hero student….this is going to be tricky, Feng”, Fei's voice echoes in her head.
Haruuhi, supports the student and is accompanied by a robot dog. Quirk escapes her but it was along the line of sound but nothing concrete for her to go on. She is a good person from what she acts like but in the end it's a tourney and she is going down. Maybe she can go down quickly if she strikes her fast enough and spare the robot dog. The robot dog is going to be an issue striking at their owner is good enough for her, spares the repair work afterwards.
Luka, classmate that she isn't too familiar with. No interactions with them aside from messaging apps and no real idea of how they fight. One major thing is the mention of a sister but hearing bits of that doesnt help. He may prove more troublesome to deal with due to having no actual basis of knowledge on him aside from second hand knowledge. But he’s in the second year for a reason and it's best to keep on her eyes trained on him for now.
“Maybe I can leave the support student for last and take on the hero student first...it makes things easier but no clue on what he can do….taking on the support student first is going to result in her cards being shown before another hero student and thus he’d have an advantage on you...hm what if I-”,Feng thought as she looked between the two targets.
Strategies in her head seem to be geared towards making the first move. Despite having no knowledge on them, they don't have anything on her either so it's a three way street with no idea on what the other can do. The moment the first person makes the moves and shows their cards, it's going to devolve into watching what the other can do until one of them goes down. This is less a battle in the physical sense and more a battle on information and deceiving. Support students always have tricks up their sleeves and another hero student with no info is fishy to say the least. They’re in the tourney for a reason so ruling them out as a non threat is going to be a bad move.
She checked her outfit for anything else aside from the bare essentials. To her surprise, she found the extendable staff from one of her other outfits packed with this one. An older version of her goggles were in the pockets as well, which she took the opportunity to put them on. It felt right to have them on for what she was about to do. There are so many risks she is going to take with the ideas in her head but if she doesn't do something now then it's going to be the same as last time.
The stance Luka was taking set the alarms off in her head as he took a rather pathetic stance. It seemed too forced under these circumstances. But this was a situation on whether or not attacking him was neither ideal or detrimental. Attacking him first means that she would commit to the fight she was getting into and putting on focus on him. But if he was faking it like she thinks, then it's going to leave her open for more damage if she gets careless. This is the worst kind of fight to be in but they must be doing all of this for a reason. They are just as cautious as her so making the first move or not becomes trivial to a degree.
“Feng...go for the blue haired boy. We can deal with a robot trainer later...Just be prepared for a long battle just in case...I get the feeling that either choice is going to get crazy the moment you throw the first hit...so best use every advantage we got for the meantime”. Fei chimes in as Feng gets into a more ready stance. She’ll save her other tricks when she needs it, but she needs to get things rolling now. Planning can only go so far so the less time she gives them to plan, the better for her.
She closes her eyes and takes a slow deep breath before exhaling slowly. It was the calm before a storm and she will be the start of it. Her eyes slowly open and she turns her head to look at first Haruuhi, then to Luka then to the statue. Noted details are set and the stage was open. It as then the signal to start was shot and it was time to get things started.
“Showtime.”
In a blur she starts to run straight for Luka and starts getting ready to kick him at full force. Refraining to ignite her legs in the meantime as she wants to see how both react to this. However she keeps her attention on both of them as she can react and defend when they respond in turn to this hasty first move. The number of techniques she has under her belt has her ready to respond to anything they throw at her. She knows what she is doing despite her earlier reservations and intends to make sure that she remains confident throughout this entire fight. This wasn't a fight against them or to prove something, this fight is going to be a fight against her older self and show that she in fact has changed.

`Keep calm, I know what you`re thinking master. Not yet.` Robodogs voice transmitted silently to Haruuhi once more as the pair stood stoic on the battlefield. Outwardly it looked like Haruuhi was as cool as a cucumber, standing in place with her guard dog at her heel. Inwardly however the girl was focusing on her breathing and trying not to induce another panic attack. She listened to waht Robodog had to say, thankful that she had programmed various tactics into his AI for situations like this where she might not be the most coherent thinker.
She stayed immobile as she and Robodog watched Luka join them, while the 3 of them remained still until given the okay to start fighting. Even then, no one seemed eager to make the first move. It was a crucial role, one that would no doubt decide the outcome of this battle... and while Haruuhi wanted to jsut jump in and start kicking everyones ass, she was glad to see that Feng was the one to make the first move... adn what was more, FEng didn`t come charging at her.
There was the slightest flicker of her lip as it curved up into a bit of a smirk as she immediately found an advantage she hadn`t been thinking of taking advantage of... although she waited. No use wasting her ace in the hole off the bat when she wasn`t the immediate target. She instead let Feng charge at Luka, and before Robodog could give her any further instruction, it was like her battle sense suddenly activated and she acted on her own. She moved her right hand above her, chucking the small round object she had been holding towards the area between Feng and Luka.
The small object soared through the air, landing seemignly harmless on the ground between them before exploding into a heavy cloud of smoke! The smokescreen engulfed the area (G rank area) around where it hit, obscuring Feng and Luka`s vision for just a moment.
She took that momentary advantage to lay down her traps, withdrawing all of her microchips at once and tossing them into the air, then using her quirk to quickly scatter them around the fighting arena while the two were hopefully blinded. She didn`t set anything else off, and hopefully the chips would go un noticed as they were so small and could easily be obscured by the natural arena they were fighting in.
`Good call. The crowd might have seen you do this, but they might not have. Make sure you-`
`Keep a few tools on hand. Thanks Gadian... I don`t know what I`d do without you. For now, stay in defensive measure A, we`ll see how this plays out before going on the offensive` Haruuhi interrupted, smiling down towards the robotic dog erven though the K9 couldn`t really see her face hidden behind the helmet. Gadian just nodded his head as he stepped in front of Haruuhi now, his body pressed lightly against the front of her legs as he kept a defensive stance.
They weren`t an offensive team, so a 3 way battle most likely put them at the biggest disadvantage... All Haruuhi and Gadian could hope for was for Feng and Luka to tire each other out, leaving her with a weakened opponent to deal with. Of course she would try to interfere in the fight only when necessary to wear both of them down time and again... but only the flow of the fight would determine any further actions from the support team.

For a few moments there was nothing, not one of them was willing to make the first move when information was so very scarce. The trio knew next to nothing about one another, and that meant that they were cautious. This was going to be a matter of data more than strength it seemed, the one who learned the most without giving anything away would ultimately triumph. That was something, Genesis supposed, as he couldn't exactly move forward in the way he would have preferred, stealthily. He was, at heart, an ambusher, but this arena didn't give him enough to work with in such a way. That meant he would need to be subtle and tactical in other ways if he were to stand even the slightest chance of victory.
Unfortunately for him, it seemed that his initial hope to not draw attention was dashed, the attention from Feng seeming far more focused on him than on Haruhi. Genesis wasn't sure what either of the others were going to do, but he wasn't going to simply stand there and let them do it. Slowly, subtly, parts of his ankles hidden beneath his pants turned translucent and blue, extending outwards and rippling in colour and texture as they came in contact with new materials, a thin tendril of camoflaged slime emerging from each foot and preparing to move the moment that the fight began. He had no real equipment, but honestly, he didn't need any, most of his abilities came from his quirk, his body, and his brain, and so Genesis was already considering his options. His abilities leant themselves to a more reactive fighting style, and so he would have to wait and see how the other two responded before he could really begin. He only hoped that his situation wasn't as hopeless as it had felt in the last round.
The moment the fight began Feng came for him, his slime tendrils rapidly expanding out from where he was while remaining camoflaged against the ground as best as he could keep them, even as he moved his body further in the sloppy fighting stance. Feng was fast, as fast as Red had been, which meant that Genesis needed to react much quicker than he would like, or she would overcome him with sheer speed. He had decided that his speed was definitely something he would be working on when this was all over, this was the second opponent he had faced who was too damn fast for him. At least it seemed the support student had decided to hang back for the moment, throwing something in their general direction but it wasn't aimed directly at him, so Genesis didn't consider it a massive threat compared to the rapidly approaching Feng.
The rapid billowing of the smoke bomb gave him perfect cover, and with a thought the tendril of slime opened up in front of Feng, five sharp spears of slime rocketing towards her as fast as he could make it go, each small tendril aimed towards the girl's legs to cause maximum pain. He needed to slow her down, like he had needed to slow Red, or he was going to be in for a rough time of this fight. Sharp, barbed tips of slime sliced forward, though with the smoke spreading across the area, he couldn't be sure that he had gotten her. Instead he continued to stay alert and ready to strike, the attacking tendrils falling back to the ground as soon as they had been used, seemingly inert. Unless someone looked close enough, it would seem like the spears of blue slime had just emerged from the ground of the arena and then fallen uselessly after being created, the actual connection to his body as disguised as he could make it. He didn't know how successful his attack had been, but he was alert and ready in case the faster girl came out of the smoke unscathed, plan B already whirling in place for him.
At the same time, he wasn't ignoring Haruhi either, the tendril of slime from his other foot creeping closer as it stayed flat against the ground, in preparation for possible use. It moved slower, not just to remain undetected but also because he was far more focused on the immediate issue of Feng, but he stretched it out slowly towards the girl and her guard dog. He wasn't going to do anything yet, but he needed to make sure he had his contingencies in place. Without them, he had the potential to be in a bad place. Still, it seemed likely that Haruhi was going to take advantage of being left alone to prepare her own contingencies, and it was very likely she'd play both sides of the fight to make sure whoever was left at the end was weak enough for her to defeat.
He couldn't let it come to that, but for the moment his priority had to be the one who was attacking him. With a deep breath and half an eye still on the Support student, Genesis waited to see how his attack played out.

Running at Luka of course set Haruuhi off as various actions were going on at once.'Looks like Im the trigger that set it off", Feng of course was aware of what she was doing as she ran towards the troublesome opponent in her eyes. It was all the matter of timing and letting the other two act first could have held the possibility of letting them have the advantage. No matter how small or huge it is,the first move always counts as it sets the tone of the battle in the long run. It was a rush of excitement, the blood pumping, the immediate danger that is coming her way as both took aim at her. A smile started to form on her face for a moment before she caught herself as she started to lose focus of a single moment.
Her attention slowly focused onto Luka as he was the more immediate target compared to Haruuhi. However before she did, she noticed her doing something but couldn't determine what she was doing as a result of focusing on another target. She makes a mental note to be wary around her area considering support students and their minds. But it adds to the fun, nonetheless as she kinda knew what Haruuhi was capable of. "Gotta make sure I remember that.."
She could have struck her first for a different result but she did make her goggles and she does want to show some respect to her for that. But that’s what's known as a bias in targets.
As if on cue a cloud of smoke came in as it began to cover her and her target. It was smart, it was needed and it was something she needed. She could not see but she can feel what was going on around her. The smoke is going to be used to take advantage of by both sides because it was the perfect opportunity. To hide a strike, to set a trap, to distract the target all together.
She could not see it, but she could feel it through her mind’s eye alone. Something was coming and it was coming to her fast. It's predictable considering the situation and it provides a good window to see how her target reacts to situations like this. As he takes advantage of the smoke, so should she as she quickly made a sharp turn during her run and jumped into the air and into the smoke. Something failed to hit its target from the sound of it, but she couldn't see it as she was too focused on keeping her position on the target. ‘Close one, Feng. What do you plan on doing now?’, Fei asked quickly as they were in the midst of the smoke for a few moments. ‘What I'm best at…”, she replied as her eyes glowed yellow and activated her quirk midair to blast herself towards Luka.
Coming out of the smoke at full force, her eyes were set on the blue haired target and of course he was ready. But she maintained her speed and she ignited her leg while in the air, primed and ready. It burns bright as a flame and is the embodiment of her hard work and determination, she needed to bring her best and she needed to make sure that she can get out of this fine. Her expression became more fierce as she got in range of Luka. His eyes were focused on something else for a moment but it was all she needed.
Dragons Tempo: Burning Needles
In a flash a barrage of red Hot kicks came out aimed at the upper body of Luka. One kick can be blocked, but a storm of them is a different story as she trained for this. Her kicks were burning bright as she intended to force him backwards and deal some major damage to him in the process. She didn't need to look back to feel that he tried to do the same as her. She can worry about Haruuhi later as her eyes were set on the one in front of her. Her senses were alert as she primed for a counterattack of any kind from all her directions. But she had her tricks ready and she knows she can handle it.
Her eyes glanced over to Haruuhi before she turned her attention back to Luka to continue her fight. Her expression was still serious as before as she blood was running hot as her leg burns. This was only the start and she wants to get to the top, to catch up to them. 'Still thinking about them, even in the middle of a match?~", Fei chimed in. 'Shut up and keep your minds eye ready. They may have more tricks up their sleeve.", Feng answered back in her head.

The way that neither of them were coming for her was both reassuring, and frustrating at the same time. on one hand, it could be that they were cautious of her because of the gear and items she was able to create... on another hand, it could also mean they didn't think she was worth their time. Her mind immediately went to the former speculation, which caused her to huff from within her helmet.
'Give it time, I'll show them...' She thought to herself as she finally shifted into a defensive martial arts position. She had no idea of Luka's tendril creeping closer to her, that was until the tendril passed over two of the microchips she had scattered about the arena moments before. As the tendril passed over them, they would suddenly cause large explosions, alerting Haruuhi to something coming her way. What was it though? Even with the explosions she couldn't see what it was, and as a result extended her left hand to fire off an invisible blast of radiowaves towards the two microchips that had erupted in hopes of intercepting whatever was coming her way.
Meanwhile, Gadian stayed put in front of his master, growling lowly as the explosions went off. His mechanical eyes swept the area, searching for the source and was just as incapable of finding it as Haruuhi. The robotic dog let out a loud bark seemingly out of the blue, releasing radiowaves into the air that began to bounce off of the nearby objects around them, and come back to Robodog in the form of a mental map. It was only with that map, was he able to identify the strange object that had been coming for Haruuhi, and was able to adjust himself to be able to protect her properly.

Genesis was not inexperienced when it came to fighting those faster than him. It was a matter of prediction and preparation, and he was reasonably skilled at both of these things. Unfortunately, the smokescreen that Haruhi had set up ended up throwing off his aim when it came to actually hitting Feng. He could tell straight away that his initial strike had hid nothing but air, and he didn't know the hows or whys. It didn't matter, he had precious few moments to react. The slime 'trail' he had formed towards Feng bulged slightly as he channelled more into it, two thick tentacles of slime seeming to emerge from the ground in front of him and forming a defensive screen that whipped out towards the smoke.
He was expecting something of course, but he was not expecting what came flying out of the smoke at the speed of a car on a freeway. The secondary tentacles that he had spawned 15 meters out lashed towards Feng and were torn apart, as were the next few that rose up to try and snag the airbourne girl. The end of that initial tentacle of slime reeled back out of the smoke, bending in on itself in an attempt to try and catch the much faster heroics student, but Genesis already knew it was going to be too late. His slime just wasn't strong enough to defend against Feng's attacks, nor was he fast enough to simply get out of the way. It was only the resistance of the scorched slime in her path that allowed Genesis to bend, and bend, and.... surely there people watching the fight that were wincing as his upper body snapped backwards at a speed and angle that would have broken the spine of any normal human to try it.
Genesis wasn't a normal human though, he was a slime, and slimes didn't have internal organs or skeletons.
That didn't mean he didn't burn of course, the almost cinammon-like stench of burnt slime tentacles attesting to that. Even as he bent backwards literally in half, the heat of Feng's burning legs scorched across his abdomen, just missing him physically, but leaving a nasty burn where she passed over him. Hands planted on the ground in a folded backwards arch one of Genesis' feet came upwards as he shifted into a handstand, a thick tentacle of slime shooting out of the limb as soon as Feng had passed him over, the new appendage trying to grab the girl and, turning her own speed against her, try to sling her towards Haruhi. The support student may not have done anything yet, but if that small explosion had told him anything, she was more prepared than she seemed. If the original tentacles managed to catch up in time, they too would attempt to assist in the task of hurling the other heroics student away.
Regardless of the result, Genesis would spin like a top and come to his feet, wincing at the burning in his abdomen as he got into another ready stance, preparing to follow up on the throw if he could, or set up another defence if necessary. He only hoped he could manage to get Haruhi more involved in fighting Feng, because he didn't want to get tunnel vision and let the Support student set up as much as she wanted. Plus, a little help dealing with the fiery kicks would make it easier for him to deal with Feng. He could only hope that some of what he planned worked, otherwise this was going to get very painful, very fast. And Genesis didn't like the thought of that right now.

A look of surprise can be seen on Feng's face as her last kick didn't make contact. The various defenses he put up were no issue but this was one thing she did not expect. This dude is a slime and he bends his body in such a way that he avoids eating her ignited kicks. She thought she was done with surprises but here is a slime in the match thought quickly. “Where have we seen this sort of ability before?”, Fei chimed in her head as Feng was processing this new information. “Minor setback, he set us up and we will have to knock him down a notch”, Feng replied in her head as time began to speed back up in her mind.
Luka was soon hand standing and turning one of his limbs into a tentacle. She can feel the slimy texture grab hold of her as she soon felt her weight being used against her. Of course she kept her cool as it felt like a fun little ride at the fair as she soon found herself being thrown towards Harruhi's direction. Her ears picked up something coming that way as well and she needed to act quickly.
As she quickly found herself being flung towards her other opponent, she used her quirk to blast herself out of Lukas grasp and activated her quirk again to quickly get out of the way. Several twirls and flips mid flight were done to readjust her stance as she landed. Her feet dragging across the floor as her eyes stayed trained on slime boys position. “Did anyone ever tell you that touching a lady like that is going to get you hurt?”, she remarked as her eyes glowed bright as she went towards his direction yet again. Splitting up her focus is going to make things harder to manage but if she takes out one and then another, then she can still do it.
His actions from earlier did ring some bells as he was rather adverse to fighting her head on. More the type to sit back and take shots rather than fight directly. It was smart but it also let on that he was more vulnerable to her attacks than she thought. His abilities and movements make him difficult to fight at her pace. But that's only if she stayed at her current style, she trained for situations like this and a ranged fight is just the person to try out her new style properly. He ain't as fast or as damaging as Yumi, but those damn tentacles are going to pose an issue if she keeps him standing around for too long.
‘New plan!’, Both voices in her head sing out in unison as she switches stances. It was drastically different from her Dragons Tempo. She swayed side to side in a similar fashion as her eyes kept trained on Luka. The look on her face remained serious as she ignited her legs once more.”It's time to see what this can do!”, She said as she zipped side to side towards the slime boys direction before jumping high into the air.
As she got into a good enough range, she started her attack as she began to spin slowly in the air as she fell to the ground. Her legs ignited and her eyes focused as she did her attack.
Dragons Tempo: Bloody Blade Dance
It was a volley of flaming projectiles that mimicked sword slashes that aimed to overwhelm her target. Aiming at his entire area and not ust him to make sure that he burns out any traps he had in waiting. But some of the attacks spilled over to the other side where the bombs were. She conserved her energy as she was making sure she wasn't putting all of her eggs in a basket. But she did this to test his response and see what he does.
However she didn't do it forever as she gracefully landed in front of the statue and then launched one flaming kick at Harruhi. Taking a cautious bow for all the cameras to see. After that she stood in the middle of the field in between the two of them and prepared herself for the coming storm.
“Come on you two, SHOW A GIRL HOW TO DANCE!”, She exclaimed out as she danced in place. Her eyes switching between both opponents as she awaited their response because she was damn ready to take whatever they had in store for her.

"Gadian! Shield mode!" Haruuhi instructed the mechanical pup ahead of her as the battle between Feng and Luka raged on. She still wasn't sure whether she should be frustrated or grateful at the fact that she was being ignored for the most part... On her command, Gadian booked it towards Feng so that he could intercept the girl that had been sent flying towards them. It didn't seem he would have too though as Feng found her footing, and was quick to shove off of the ground again, soaring high towards Luka.
'Feng is a problem because of her speed and maneuverability, but her quirk is probably manageable... Luka though, he's a lot like Elise-san... I have no idea how my quirk will work against slime, and I don't think Gadian will be very effective against it either. Both of them are no joke, but I have to be careful about who I decide to tackle first...' The young redhead thought to herself as she carefully analyzed the scenario unfolding before her eyes. She was internally beating herself up, as she didn't want to have to be fighting either of them or making these decisions! She didn't want either of them to feel bad if she targeted them... but she had to pick something that gave her an advantage!
And that's when Feng unleashed a fury of flames on Luka, and then struck a pose. Instinctively, Haruuhi's hands flew up in front of her, releasing one of the miniature flashbangs from her hands and using her quirk blast to push it towards Feng. As the blast got close to Feng's, the blinding flash lit up the arena as the radiowave blast continued on it's assault.
Haruuhi sprung forward with Gadian ahead of her, running right into the bright light which was dulled thanks to the visor of her helmet. She ran right in, sending Robodog to attack her legs with a powerful chomp, while she attempted a powerful punch to the girls head.
The entire time, all that was going through Haruuhi's mind was.

Genesis didn't stop moving just because he had thrown Feng successfully, the slime boy not only backing up to give more maneuvering room but also preparing himself for what was to come. She was fast, high energy, he could only hope that she would eventually run out of steam at this point because he didn't really see many opportunities for himself to do well in this particular situation. No chance to prepare, no areas for stealth, and barely a moment to even breathe before she was on him again. If he hadn't been so focused he would have become utterly frustrated by the girl's constant attacks. As it was, he wasn't about to simply roll over and let her take him down.
Blankly staring at the other Heroics student as she made some sort of comment about not touching a lady, Genesis instead watched as best he could, his view allowing him to see both Feng and Haruuhi as they were aligned. He was going to have to try something rather drastic if he wanted a moment to himself, and he had just about the opportunity as Feng came at him. Golden eyes watched her movement carefully, his body tensing in preparation to respond to whatever it was that she was going to do next. His opportunity came as Feng jumped upwards into the air, an act that carried some peril when one was close in strength to their opponent. The moment the girl was airbourne, Genesis tried to calculate her trajectory, and with a visible exhalation he unleased a barrage of slime at her, small orbs of blue gel hardened and shot from his mouth directly at her. It might hurt her, it might not, but it would definitely give her something to think about.
The slow spin at the arc of her jump would give him some advantage in his attack, but more importantly it was something that told him he needed to get ready. Feng had shown her attacks to be powerful, and fast, and he wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of taking him out simply. Genesis used this opportunity to throw up a curved wall of slime between himself and his more aggressive opponent, thickening and hardening the substance as much as he could to try and withstand whatever she had coming his way. It wouldn't hold the attack for long, but it blocked him from view, would slow down whatever attack she unleashed, and potentially deflect some of the damage, especially at the bottom center where he made the wall its strongest.
Hidden safely from both Feng and Haruuhi for a brief moment, Genesis' body collapsed into a pool of slime, spreading out and blending into the ground to the best of his ability. At the same time a facsimilie of his form emerged roughly where he had been standing, the fake copy of himself not perfect, but more than enough to hold up to a casual inspection. It was about this time that blades of flame tore through his wall, the slime splattering across the field where it wasn't burned away by the intense heat, a sugary-cinnamon smell filling the air as the substance was cooked. Tucked down low and at the thickest part of his wall, Genesis was spared the intense inferno, however his faked double was not so lucky, struck head on it skidded backwards and collapsed in a heap, as though the slime boy had been knocked out by the concussive force of his slime wall being so thoroughly destroyed.
In reality, the basic doppelganger was attached to a near invisible tendril of slime to his main body, allowing him to give it a realistic(ish) reaction to being struck, clothes singed and 'breathing' but seeming not to be getting up after that attack. He wasn't able to see Haruhi's own contribution to attacking Feng while the other girl was laying the smackdown on the German boy, hidden behind the slowly dissolving remnants of his wall and camoflaged against the ground, Genesis could feel the growing emptiness in his stomach that indicated that he had started to tap to heavily into his quirk. He would need to be a bit more conservative going forward if he wanted to be able to continue to fight at all.

Feng knew what she was getting into was she was standing in the middle of the arena. Every part of her process was sound as they reacted in turn. Their moves and actions came out one after another and it was seeing their cards fall to the table bit by bit. The traps and various other setups were made moot the moment she established her place in the field. All eyes were on her as she stood there and taunted them into attacking her and it worked for once. She heard one of them make a shield out of their pet and saw a slime boy show more of his tricks.
‘Haruuhi made a shield for herself and so did Slime boy...figures but works for me”, she thought as she stood there, taking a moment to calm herself before it all came at her. Everything moved so slowly in those seconds as she looked ready to take everything they threw at her. Her training and senses were moving a mile a minute as she readied herself for the onslaught of attacks.
The first issue was the radio wave that let out a huge flash of light that covered the area, but as she was facing away she could only see the flash in a reflection of the slime. Though it wasn't as bad as she first thought. But the momentary blindness did catch her off guard but that's a support students for ya. ‘Shit my eyes…’, she instinctively shielded her eyes as she tried to recall what was coming her way as her eyesight slowly returned. But she can feel something coming as for the fact on where she was and who her opponents are. Luckily for her the goggles helped a bit as they blocked some of the flash.
A volley was a barrage of shots that were coming her way. She can see that Luka took his shots but he can feel something else coming from behind her. With her back turned and knowing her abilities thus far, she can assume a few things as she put on her goggles and went to work. Her martial arts training came in handy as she felt a figure rapidly approaching from behind her as she heard them coming. She narrowly dodged the bite from the robo dog and used her body spun as she used her palm to redirect Harruhis punch away from her. Feng herself wasn't going to strike but someone else was instead; yes she made sure to carry her momentum and throw her a bit forward as Lukas shots were closing in. They were fast and far but Feng was indeed faster as she jumped out of her spot and left Haruuhi to deal with the slime balls.’Sorry, Sorry, Haruuhi but this is a stop and swap’ she kept her air time up by doing short hops to sustain a pseudo ‘flight’ as she watched it go down in real time. More looking like she was dancing through the air as she dodged more shots that were aimed at her as she dashed towards the top of the statue in the center. A few grazing her pants as she did so.
She stood atop the statue looking at the arena and tried to alter her approach. Her speed and maneuverability is the biggest asset right now but from what she saw in her opponents responses, they were more inclined to use tricks more than she initially thought. Smoke bombs, flash bangs, robot dogs, slime tricks using his own composition. It was all an obstacle course for a close combat fighter like herself. Worse comes for worse, this may become a ‘gun’ fight for her as she can put them on edge. But the issue is going in without knowing what else they have in store. Slime boy showed that he is more formidable than he looks in close range combat but lacks the speed to properly pin her down while Haruuhi has a bunch of toys she has up her sleeves. This isn't going to be a straight forward fight...this is going to be a battle of tactics and seeing who outplays who from this point on as she can see a viable way to take them down with how they are now. That or she brute forces solutions and smashed both of them at full force as fast as she could. But she resisted as she tried to think of another solution for this. In the back of her head, a voice began to speak yet again and it was perhaops the worst time to do so as she was speaking with her voice but also mocking her.
‘A martial artist matched against two types of fighters she hates the most...this is akin to watching a boxing match and one opponent enjoys out-boxing a lot more than in-boxing..’, Fei remarked as Feng’s eyes watched the field.’C’mon don't tell me you’re having trouble with this? You went up against the mighty lightning in your first round and had more guts there? Is it because of the visit? Are you really”, the voice jabbed before Feng reacted out loud on accident. “ENOUGH!”, a look of anger painted her face as she looked down on both fighters with a look of agitation.
“Any more tricks up your sleeves?”, she stated to the both of them as her legs began to light up and burn. “You wanna keep playing tag with me or do you wanna treat this free for all as an actual free for all?”She got ready as the flames of her legs began to trail in the breeze as she stood atop the statue. Her position is compromised if she remained up there so she was ready to get off in a variety of ways the moment they threw anything at her. This fight is just getting started and her blood began to boil as they did their next set of actions.

TLDR, Haruuhi 's attack was parried by Feng so that Haruuhi was the one who took Luka's slime ball attack. Not expecting that, Haruuhi gets hit and knocked back, skids across the arena floor until she's at the edge of the ring. Swinging her arms like mad as she tried to keep her balance so that she doesn't teeter off the edge. Dogodog tries to help her by biting into her shirt to pull her back onto the ring, but it rips and haruuhi falls out. RIP Haruuhi.
