The world is all about money, no matter how much people claimed otherwise. This was the new caste system and, even though he didn’t quite enjoy this segregation, he was still subject to it. But he wasn’t all alone in this caste, as some fellow classmates were also from a similar background, and one of them was Nyke Nora. Just like himself, she was escorted to the lodge by her family and had a private room and this was probably the reason she was the first one he ran into as he walked towards the beach.
Despite the modest look of her swimsuit, she looked rather cute in that - he didn’t fail to notice that - and thus he cracked a simple smile to the girl as he waved his hand to her, closing in the distance in between them as they moved towards the larger group. ”So, I assume I wasn’t the only one babysit here, eh?” he spoke in a casual, amiable tone.
As they walked, he looked around to the people. Some of them were still in the sand, talking to one another, while some others were already heading to the sea, catching some waves, having some fun. His eyes were drawn to Lani Bijan as she looked quite stunning. Her open invitation to surf or to learn how to surf was tempting, to say the least, but he was quite sure he would make a fool out of himself. His eyes glanced back to Nyke and he chuckled. ”Feeling adventurous to try it?” he asked her, wondering if she would dare challenge the waves.

Yumi was...well she wasn't quite dissapointed, but it felt like the most appropriate word, when she saw that her other classmates hadn't made it to the beach yet, and those who had made it to the beach seemed to pretty swiftly be pairing and grouping up with the others. Yumi wasn't necessarily lacking the confidence to go up to any of them and try to put herself forward, but with most of them just seeming to focus on leaning to surf...well, Yumi was a bit nervous about that. While the skill seemed like something fun to pick up, the issue was more she could sometimes accidentally activate her quirk if she was put in a precarious situation. If she was suddenly knocked off her board and sent tumbling by a heavy wave she didn't wanna suddenly fry everyone else in the water now did she? Instead, she'd focused on setting up one of the volleyball sets that seemed to be on the beach, two metal poles set up without a net. A quick jog back to the building they were staying at and she'd managed to find a net, letting her set up the game. Of course she still needed someone to play with, but hopefully the net being set up already would help attract some eyes. Wacking the underside of the ball she started to bounce it between her hands and off her knees, just playing a game of 'keepie - ups', in part to keep busy, and also catch an eye. "Hey! After Finally changing into his swimming trunks, Brun looked out onto the beach from the lodge itself. Everyone was having fun. Well those out on the beach were. He'd decide to go out and join them soon after but not before Asking the lodge staff to set something up on the beach for him. Finally emerging from the lodge with a big red grill he'd set it up and get the fire going. The coals burned hot, signaling that the grill was ready. There was no better time for the lodge staff to come out. They set up a fold-able table and set a vareity of hot dog and hamburger buns, prepped raw hamburger meat, cheese, ketchup, steaks, etc. Anything that could be grilled up was present. In front of Brun. He smiled as he put on his apron that read "Hi hungry, I'm Dad!" It was a gift from his mother. After tying it behind him Brun would grab a the Spatula and begin cooking. The scent of meat would fill the beach as Brun prepared Various steaks and Burgers to be eaten later. He was pretty hungry after a long trip. He'd instruct the nearest lodge staff member to watch the grill while he went to mingle with his fellow students. What should he do though. Everyone had seemed to have split off in their different cliques already. Except for one girl who called out to see if anyone would want to play some volleyball. He thought he'd get a game in while he waited for the steak and various meats to finish. He'd approach Yumi with a wave. "I'll play with you. It seems everyone else kinda split off into their own groups or whatever. I'm Brun Azir, Class 1-B." He'd hold out his hand for a shake. |

Yumi's eyes shifted about as her classmates came near the court she'd set up, even spending a brief moment to try and better define the edges of it by drawing a rectangle around the net with her heel. She'd get a bit hopeful when someone got close and maybe grumbled once when someone seemed to walk right through her court. Still, so long as people were having fun she couldn't really complain right? Maybe she'd just go back to her lounger and read a book if everyone was gonna just-
"Oh, hello.~" Smirking as someone seemed to take up her offer just as she was debating rescinding it, Yumi tucked her ball under her arm and took the offered handshake, her own grasp a little firm but with enough energy in the shake to seem more lively than not. She didn't really hide the fact she gave his body a quick glance over, or the faintly growing smile at the fact she might have a little bit of eye candy as they played, the sly smile turning into a grin as she took her hand back and pushed the ball away from her chest for him to catch. "Yumi Tasukai~ 1-C's class prez.~ Lovely to meetcha."
Ducking under the net she walked backwards to get some good room from the net, opening her arms in a 'come get me' like pose as she smirked. "You think you can hold a conversation while we play?~ Ain't gotten to know the other classes much yet."

Soon enough Chise was able to get some assistance from one of the female students in the girls sleeping quarters with putting some sunscreen on her back. The redhead would have to thank the girl later for the assistance as she could not do this by herself although it seemed easy in hindsight. Chise had made sure to put her poofy carrot colored hair up into a high ponytail on top of her head so her hair wouldn't be filled with sunblock from her back. Chise put what she didn't need back with her stuff and soon grabbed her beach bag, heading out to the beach to enjoy the day and have some fun.
A quick walk from the dorms to the beach made wasting time inside a thing of the past. Chise stepped onto the hot sandy beach in her two piece black swimsuit, looking out at the ocean before her.  The air was cool but the sun shining down on her was hot, nice contrast between temperatures to make the day simply beautiful. Chise noticed some other students already out on the beach and enjoying themselves, she didn't recognize anyone ight off the bat, assuming they were all in the heroics course. Perhaps she would go and talk with them later if she felt courageous enough. Chise looked out at the clear blue water, seeing some ice looking shells decorating the shoreline, thankfully no one had seemed to look at way and think to gather shells for themselves. Chise had come prepared, packing a plastic bag inside her beach bag to keep whatever nice shells she finds in. Chise looked around for somewhere she could set her belongings while she went and looked at the shells, soon settling on placing her bag up by where some beach chairs sat under a row of umbrellas. Surely since the beach was rented out for the U.A. students and staff, her belongings would be alright where they were. Chise grabbed her plastic bag from inside her beach bag and took her sandals off, carefully heading down to where the water met the sand to both get her feet wet and to look for some shells to add to her ever growing collection. |

"Nice ta make yer acquaintance Yumi!" Thats what he said outside. but Inside he thought 'Did she just check me out?' He'd shake her hand with an equal amount of firmness to hers. she wasn't very subtle about it. He blushed a bit and smiled back at her. He would catch the ball and back up to serve the ball. Before getting into position he'd check her out a bit before serving though. The girl was very cute. Her swimsuit showed her *cough* assets *cough*. How could you not check out the cute girls on the Beach. He was a guy, obviously, but he never hung out with people enough to actually like anyone. Especially girls. The beach was a whole battlefield to this man. Everyone seemed to sparkle. The bodacious boobs and butts he could see from the corners of his eyes, especially the ones in front of him. Yumi was an above average girl to say the least. He couldn't spend all day checking he out though.
"I sure can lil lady." He'd reply to her as he served the ball. Bumping under it with his fist the ball would pop over the net towards Yumi. "I'm pretty new 'round these parts. So I apologize in advance if I can't tell ya much about my class. In fact I barely know anything about em myself." Brun would run to the middle of the court preparing to receive the ball from Yumi. He he had only played Volleyball in gym class so his skills relating to this game wee simply that of an average high school student. He did however know the general rules and scoring system. This wasn't a competitive game though, this was simply for fun. He wondered how good she was at this game though. "So what exactly do ya want ta know?"

The idea of a trip to the beach was really exciting for Kyla. Even though it was difficult to tell, she was just as happy and excited as everyone else to go to the beach and relax for a while. In fact, before even arriving at the beach, she wore her swimsuit under her clothes so that she could head directly out to the beach after dropping her belongings off in the room the class was going to sleep in. 1-B's bus was pretty busy with everyone speaking and doing their own thing. Lani Bijan even brought a surfboard with her. Surfing seemed like such a cool thing to do, but Kyla didn't know if she was skilled enough for that sort of thing. In fact, looking at Kyla, she didn't seem like the type that meshed well with the beach. Her skin was very light and she had many electronic looking parts as a part of her mutation. It was hard to imagine those were saltwater friendly, but they most certainly were. Her swimsuit matched her robot aesthetic as well. It was a nice black and pink two-piece swimsuit with a top that didn't just hang around her neck, but fit snugly around it. The key feature of the outfit was the blue jewel looking object that acted as a design element that matched her Nasod Core. It had no functional purpose, but Kyla liked the way it looked and thus, really liked her swimsuit's design. Her hair was also different thing time around. She usually wore it out. She had very long hair, so styling it was fun, but also a chore. Today, however, she had it tied into two long ponytails. Each one was wrapped in a braid at the base and gave her an interesting look. Her bangs, of course, still covered her Nasod Core and Nasod Transmitters, but there wasn't much she could do about that. Once the bus stopped and everyone was free to exit, Kyla walked off with her fellow classmates. She saw Nyke Nora being escorted away and Lani call out to anyone that wanted to surf. In an effort to keep up with the others, Kyla made her way to the girl's room and into one of the changing rooms. It was there that she shed her normal clothes and revealed her swimwear. After packing things neatly, she grabbed her towel and a small basket with some snacks and drinks in it and headed out for the beach. It wasn't full quite yet, but there were already people around, including some of her classmates. Some of them were surfing while others were out waiting for others to arrive. Smiling, the white-haired girl decided to be social and join in. She wanted over to Yumi Tasukai and set her basket down and her towel on top of that. "I'll try!" Kyla spoke up. There would be enthusiasm in her voice if she could project it, but her voice and even her expression stayed a very straight-laced and stoic one. As for keeping a ball in the air, that couldn't be too hard right? "I'm Kyla, from 1-B as well." She said, both to Yumi and Brun Azir.
Back at the lodge, a new feature opened up. The lodge's day spa was now available for people to relax it. It was a nice expansive area that offered a normal of services on the house for all people staying at the lodge. There were massages, mud baths, a sauna, and all kinds of extra odds and ends for patrons to enjoy. It was going to be open all day and were taking visitors at any time up until the late evening. They would even wait on you, offering non-alcoholic drinks to the minors and snacks for them to enjoy while they rested. |

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell Nyke looked to Seiya and nodded. She was actually more free than she expected to be. She wasn't going to be bothered or babysat by her father, so she was going to get to enjoy her time with the rest of the class the way she wanted to. She didn't know the boy's circumstances, but it seemed they were similar in that regard. "Not quite." She answered, quickly and softly. Despite her hardened expression, she did have a soft voice. It was a great contrast to her demeanor and attitude but matched the small short stature that she had. Things were odd like that. The little girl was a tank, but she spoke very little and very softly. As for the boy, he seemed really confident, at least by what he was wearing. The shorts he wore weren't even short. They covered so little that it was less than Nyke's alternative swimsuit. It just showed how comfortable Seiya was with himself. It was interesting, to say the least. It made Nyke wonder just what kind of swimwear the rest of her classmates were going to put on. The boys could be just as varied as the girls when it came that that kind of thing.
"I cannot swim" Nyke added as she was asked about the idea of surfing. It wasn't that she never learned, it was just physically impossible. There was never be enough fat on her body to counteract the density and weight of her bones. She would just sink to the bottom of the water no matter how much she struggled. A surfboard wasn't going to change that. She was too heavy and would likely break any board that she was on. If she did want to go out into the water, Nyke was going to have to use a specially designed inner tube to rest on. It was the most that she could enjoy as far as pools and the sea went. It was going to be interesting if she ever needed to perform a water rescue of some kind.
"The beach." She added, again speaking in very few words and not being completely clear with what she said. To put it simply, she was going to go to the beach and enjoy the sand. At least that was nice enough to enjoy by itself. And with it slowly filling with students, Nyke had to make sure she could find a spot she could relax in before things got too crazy. As for Seiya, it was up to him to do whatever he liked. She wasn't going to make him feel bad for not joining her if he wanted to surf. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ |

Ericka looked over her classmates as they rode the bus to the beach. There were so much excitement and energy flowing through the vehicle that even Ericka could hardly contain herself. Though the hard work was only just starting, the school was allowing them a fun vacation to enjoy the nearby beach and have some free time with their classmates. Ericka saw it as a chance to get to know her schoolmates more and get a feel for the type of person that everyone was. Between their classes, the shopping trip and this, she was bound to have everyone feel closer than ever. It was very exciting. The trip was going to be a two-day thing, so not only did she have to pack a swimsuit, but something to sleep in as well as clothes to wear on the return trip to school. She had a small suitcase with a number of things in it. Her swimsuit, an extra set of clothes, sleepwear, as well as the stuff she needed for the beach. He packed extra beach towels and things just in case other people didn't have one. She didn't want anyone to feel left out and excluded from what everyone else was doing. Though she was out to have fun, she also made up her mind on making sure that everyone on the beach was okay. Sure, they had chaperones, but help was still going to be needed with so many students around. Not to mention that she was the class president of class 1-B, so she was responsible for the others. However, once the bus stopped and everyone started to file out, Ericka was one of the last to leave the bus. Everone was excited and off doing their own thing right away, so Ericka choose to be the one to make sure everything was in order. The blonde girl made her way to the girls' communal room. It was a large space for all the girls of Yuuei to come and relax in. She made sure stuff wasn't left in the middle of the room for others to trip over and made sure that bags left behind were placed in plain sight when those people returned to the room. And once everything was neat, she took the time to go into the changing rooms and change into her swimsuit. It was a nice and even fashionable one-piece thing. It was mostly white, with the top wrapped around her neck rather than resting on her shoulders. A cutout for her torso existed for her to show off a little while the bottom half was ruffled like a skirt. It was very cute, but also a little sexy, something Ericka was a bit nervous showing off, but felt that she could. Once she was done, she paced her things neatly in a corner of the room and made her way out onto the beach to see what the others were doing. |

Akio arrived at the beach and took a deep breath Ok, so you're still new here, so what, the beach is a perfect place to make new friends and you're going to be with these people for the next few years, so if today doesn't work out you have plenty of chances, just relax and have a good time he thought to himself as he walked around, the sand crunching beneath his feet, trying to find a spot to set up. He finally found a good spot and set up his chair and sat down, put an earbud in his ear and took out his game console, Nobody said I had to socialise with people straight away, I'll spend a little bit of me time and then go see what's happening around the beach he thought as he started playing the basketball game he had on his console.
His game got more intense and as the intensity rose, Akio became more vocal, then it came down to the final 5 seconds, his team was down by 2 and they had the ball
"Come on, come on, come on, pass it there, dammit nowhere to go, fuck it I gotta shoot," he said to himself as the player shot the ball. He saw the ball roll around until in finally fell into the hoop "YES THAT WAS SO CLUTCH," he shouted in excitement before he looked around realising where he was "I hope nobody heard that," he whispered quietly to himself, making sure nobody had heard his screams of joy.

Chise was content collecting shells along the shoreline, having already found a few good ones for her collection: a wide variety of scallop shells, her favorite, some small cone like shells of different sizes, and her favorite piece, a fully intact conch shell. The conch shell was rather small for its kind but Chise did not mind that one bit, just finding a full shall with no breaks or cracks was rare enough as it was. Plus, the pretty coral and peach colors reflected off the shell from the sun were simply breathtaking. Chise made sure to gently place each shell in her bag, checking every so often to make sure they were all fully intact before she finished her search.
Chise turned her head when she heard a cry from what sounded like a male student. She saw another redhead sitting in a chair it seemed he brought for himself out in the sun and looking down in his lap. Why would he decide to sit out in the sun, it didn't look like he was trying to tan. She walked a bit closer to the other and noticed the earbud in his ear and what appeared to be a console of sorts. Chise found this rather silly, why would you bring a gaming condole to the beach in the first place? Chise let out a soft chuckle at the thought, if you sit in the sun with a device like that, it would be prone to overheating which could ruin it. Perhaps that was why he had screamed, or maybe he had won his game and he was cheering at his victory. Chise got a bit closer and spoke up, "I hate to bother you but why exactly did you bring a gaming console o the beach? You know it could overheat in weather like this if you aren't too careful," the carrot top said with a smile on her face as she held her bag of shells.

Akio heard a voice asking why he'd bring a video game console to the beach and looked up, he saw a girl with poofy red hair holding what looked like a bag of shells. "Hmm? Well if I'm not swimming I'm gonna be bored and I easily can keep it cool with my quirk so there's no risk of it overheating," He said as he took the earbud out of his ears and stood up stretching his long limbs, sitting down on the ground isn't the most comfortable thing to do when you're 2m tall. This is your chance to make a friend at the school, jump on it while you can! he thought to himself excitedly he thought to himself as he stuck his hand out to shake her hand.
"I'm Akio by the way, I'm in Class 1-C, those are some pretty nice shells you've got, have you spent the whole day so far collecting them?" He asked That's quite a few shells she's got, she must've spent a good amount of the day looking for them, I wonder if she's like me and doesn't know many people here yet he thought to himself, knowing this was his best chance at making his first friend at U.A.

"...I see. Still there are plenty of fun things to do at the beach besides bring video games along, you could go for a swim, lay out to tan, bring a book to read, perhaps join a game of beach volleyball, go around and explore, the possibilities seem almost endless," the carrot haired girl said with a bright smile. Sometimes it was good to take a break from the games and electronics for a bit. She watched as the other stood up, easily towering her by a foot and then some. She always got a little upset knowing that a lot of others were taller than her but this just seemed ridiculous.
Chise shook feeling like a shrub out of her thoughts as she watched the other hold out his hand to her, listening to him introduce himself. A warm smile found it's way onto Chise's lips as she reached her own hand out to shake the other's hand. "Thank you, I'm Chise from General Studies. It's nice to meet you," the redhead introduced herself to the giant. "I only spent a few hours looking for them if anything. I guess you could say I've got a knack for finding pretty shells," Chise said with a chuckle, reaching into her bag and pulling out one of the pale blue scallop shells she found earlier along the shoreline. "What sort of game were you playing earlier? It seemed like you were having fun by the way you yelled," Chise said with a soft chuckle, finding the other's enthusiasm for his game quite amusing.

Akio listened as the girl listed of all the possible beach activities and considered the possibilities "Hmmm, the only one of those that sounds any fun is the volleyball, I do have the height for it after all," he said as he looked around the beach, it was the first time he'd actually had a good look at the beach since he got here, he'd been too absorbed with his game after all. Chise huh, she seems like a good person, she's prettty friendly and that smile is enough to warm your heart on the coldest days he thought to himself as he looked back at Chise "I was just playing a basketball game, basketball isn't really a game you could play at the beach, so I thought I'd keep myself busy with it, at least for a little bit, I was actually kind of working up the courage to talk with somebody, I don't really know anybody else here yet, so I didn't have much else to do except entertain myself for the time being," he explained "Man, it's really hot, hey do you mind if I use one of those shells to cool myself down, I don't really have anything else to use," he asked hoping she'd say yes, he didn't want to use his console as cooling it down too much could make it glitch out and break.

"Clearly you do. I'd imagine you being a real pro at any sport, well unless you aren't very coordinated then it might be a little challenging," Chise said with a chuckle. She was never very good at sports, partially due to her stamina, partially due to her lack of hand eye coordination, but one cannot be good at everything. "I don't think I would be very good at beach volleyball or just general volleyball for that matter. I tried once in grade school but my serves never made it over the net and I was never good at receiving the ball when it came over to our side of the next. In all honesty, me and sports don't quite mix," the redhead laughed at her own mild misfortune.
"Basketball? True you can't really play basketball on the beach but perhaps the lodge has a basketball court. You could always check it out when you head back or if actual basketball is not your cup of tea then you can continue to play your virtual basketball game. If there is a basketball court, perhaps you can ask around to see if the other guys, or even girls, would want to join you. People tend to make friends when they share something in common," Chise said looking up at Akio with a grin, happy that he wanted to try and make friends just as she was trying to.
Chise listened to him ask if he could borrow a shell to fan himself off with but found it rather funny he would ask something like that. Chise laughed in response to his question, trying to calm herself down after a few moments so she could properly respond to the other. "I don't really think a shell would do any good. I brought a small electronic fan with me to the beach if you would like to borrow that. It's with my belongings though, if you don't mind walking with me," Chise said. Now that he mentioned it, she was getting rather toasty herself, maybe she should use her fan as well.
