The air was cold and dank, the teasing of the coming monsoon season, and with that would come the unending rains. It would be unfortunate, as Shuichi hated the rain, and he was certain that many more would too if they were constantly assaulted by his synesthesia. It was night time, but this was Tokyo. Even here he could not smell the darkness of a rural night, woe betide those who would find themselves so deep in the inky black in this city, lest they themselves were like he. Irredeemables that hunted when the moon hung high. Preying victim to those poor souls that had the misfortune of coming across them, but not for him. He did not deign to call himself a 'villain,' though that may have been the correct designation, or really sometimes the proper term was 'vigilante.' He wasn't there for the justice of stopping crimes, however. He was there to do what must be done to save humanity from its cruel, vile self.
His cape flowed behind him in the breeze. He could feel his own breath partially condensate around his mouth and nose, which made it just a bit annoying to breathe, but that was of little concern for now. He could try to fix that on his own later. He laid against the building's air-conditioning unit, luckily shut off for now. While he may have aimed for much more, he was no fool. If he couldn't even get the practice, there was no way that he was going to be able to take on the heroes themselves. Not in a million years, not in a kalpa.
He repetitively unloaded a and reloaded his gun. He was sure that was bad for it, but he didn't care. He was still amazed at the fact he was able to get his hands on something like this in the first place. He was certain that he could make himself discard the habit in the first place. Then, in a moment, he reloaded it and kept still. A colored haze faded in and out at the very edge of his vision. Was this it? The color was similar to the voice he had been training it on. It made sense. He had been coming up here for days now learning all that he could about this small-time gang. A bunch of foolish youngsters that thought they could take on the world. Unfortunately for them, he was going to put an end to that before they could really make themselves a gaggle of monsters.
He listened a bit more. No, the voice was off a bit, they were on the other side of the building. Odd. They traveled at a somewhat abnormal pace. He could practically smell the excitement in the air about them. He hoisted his gun, but there was something else going on. Too many footsteps, it sounded like. Was there another one with them? A new recruit to their numbers? He doubted it, the three of them had seemed quiet tight-knit form his observations. Could it be? He sighed. He didn't like the idea of someone cutting off his practice early.

G was out and about prowling and patrolling as usual. He kept an eye on villainy. Like that one time he stopped bank robbers and ditched the cops. Now he did the same, made sure the streets were safe. As he walked, he saw this was also gonna be a rowdy night as eventually he saw a bunch of troublemakers, delinquents stirring up to no good. Ah well, time to nip this in the bun... or was it bud. Either way G went to face em "Oi" he said as he usually does to villains and the like "I'd stop that if I were you"
But the guys had none of it. They thought they were all hotshots who were at the top of the world. None of them cared this was the number 1 Vigilante. They thought they had strength in numbers, which was shown how they displayed their quirks. One had a fire quirk, another a transformation of a sort and the third was a mutant looking fella. They all thought they were ready and able to take down the top dawg Vigilante, which made G just sigh. It was like a routine, like any other day. Well, it was time to spank them, now he waited for their first move and then he'd counterattack and KO them. They soon started to make their move, it was almost time

"Heh, your death wish, old man!" Alas, the same old game. The kids thought they could take this guy on just because they outnumbered him. the fiery leader flourished her bat and let it rest on hers shoulder as her hair turned into a brilliant pyre, their second looked to be some sort of chameleon guy, but with a trained motion, he twirled a switchblade around with his tail. The last of them grew into a monster fit for children's stories, a furry thing with long, wicked claws to rend the flesh of his enemies.
"Not gonna piss yer pants are ya grandpa?" Their leader covered her entire body in fire, an outline of a face just barely visible through the intense heat
BANG!
Without any warning, their leader's head exploded, brain matter and a fine red mist shooting out the new hole in the back of her skull. The flames that had been engulfing her body not moments before vanished, aside from a few smolders that still danced through her hair and clothes
"What the hell!?" The monster-guy's voice had become deep and distorted, but it would still drip with newfound fear. The brigands stopped in their tracks. Of course, they never actually expected to meet any resistance, much less die for a mugging. The man with the claws immediately dismissed his quirk and started running the other way, The chameleon guy started to pull a gun out of his coat pocket, but rather than fire the thing off, he turned around and began to run with his last remaining compatriot
"Mmmmm. I hate it when they run." Shuichi's shot still rang loud in his ear, for a moment, it had overwhelmed his sense of sight with a bright white light. He tried to take aim at the boy with the transformation quirk's head, but alas, with another loud shot, all he would be able to do was clip the thing's shoulder. The Martyr sighed beneath his mask and stood from his perch. He would rest one foot on the meager guard on top of the roof. His cape flowed in the wind, his armor just barely glinting the city's night-time light. The yellow lights from the eyes of his mask pierced through the alley, especially at the newcomer. He could have sworn he had seen the guy before. It was on the tip of his tongue, he could swear. The scent was one that he knew, and the faintest low thrumming in his ear didn't put him at too much ease.
"These streets are dangerous at night. Best go home before you get too involved." His voiced was raised enough that he hoped the guy could actually hear him, but he made sure that it remained smooth, calm, and without emotion. He had an image to maintain.

BANG! Was probably the last thing G expected to hear right about now. None of his foes brandished a gun that was aimed at him. That meant the sound of a gun came from someone unexpected. He watched as the fiery one fell on the ground dead. G looked down, a bit sad this happened. He always liked leaving women alive. It was the men he was cold to. He looked up to see who was the person that took this one's life. The poor defenceless muggers fled away in fear. But G knew, this never ends in escape. When a killing starts, it doesnt stop until there are no witnesses. Thats how he used to do it when he was a villain.
G didnt use his Quirk yet, but if the man tried to aim his weapon at him or the transformation boy's head. Then G would act quickly to interrupt the shot. "Oi" he spoke to the gun weilder. Again, adressing him as he does any villain. With disrespect. Still, he had to be smart. But since when was G known to be smart? Clearly the Storm Knights give him too much credit. He doesnt even think to ask who is this "I own these streets. Since when do you have the right to take my prey." G spoke with mild annoyance. But then he continued "You say, I should go home before I get too involved. But you might not know. Im already too involved."
G wasnt the type to give speeches. The attacker killed someone, clearly he was either a rougue vigilante or a villain. One does not kill willy nilly. This guy was a villain. Just because he wasnt some notorious known hotshot doesnt mean he's a harmless villain. In fact, G thought these guys were worse. With Thunder soaking up all the limelight. These other monsters hide in the shadows as relative unknowns, doing their own hideous crimes. Little did they know. G is also hiding in these shadows.

Had he been mistaken? He could practically smell the change in the air like a red mist hanging over the street below. The grip on his gun tightened, a finger dancing on the trigger, but he did not point the gun at him, not yet. Depending on the threat of a facing barrel was an act of cowardice that only escalated things. He squinted at the man below. The white hair probably made him seem older than he was. He seemed untrained in combat by the way he carried himself, but looks alone were never enough in the age of quirks. He found the notion of territories farcical. Clinging so desperately to borders and property. The way he spoke made him sound like some kind old Yakuza far past his prime. Shuichi sighed quietly. He should have remembered that people like this actually existed, but he would have to deal with them all the same. 'Dark heroes' that couldn't make it in the field of rules that the government would have imposed. They ruled their domains like tyrant daimyo without a shogun to reign them in. They, too, would have to meet their end someday. "Hmm." How long had it been now. Several seconds were enough to get further than most would think, especially in tight alleyways like this. His perch had been good were it not for the gangster trying to interfere. He might have had more luck if he had posted himself atop the other side of the street so he could have kept track of them for just a bit longer. Best not to dwell on these things.
"If you wish to chase them, then, I will not stop you." Alas, there were many that would not bear to understand the necessity of his ways. Were they not the kind with power they would one day understand. "But...seems to me like you're not much interested in them right now, are you?" Fickle thing he. Had he judged the Martyr's sin so great he lost care for his so-called prey? An adult's mind with a child's sense of justice. How quaint.

The villanous man said that if G wished to chase the runts he wouldnt stop him. But then the man said that ... well he made an observation. G was not interested in those guys. "You bet I aint interested in them. I can school those guys in my sleep. Now you on the other hand." he says as he looks at the person "If I was a cop I'd tell you that you have the right to remain silent. But Im not a cop, so I'll tell you. You have 5 seconds to quietly surrender and no one will get hurt"
A warning and a threat. He told him to come quietly. G can take him to the police and he can face charges. But G knew, that this guy wont come quietly. He was already ready for a brawl. As soon as the gun man considered aiming and pulling the trigger, G would summon Goliath to block or deflect the bullet. And a counterattack after that would be easy. No one stood a chance against him. Whoever this villain was, he had to be stopped "God, I hate that these extras have unknown quirks. I've been so fixated on Thunder that I neglected other villains and their power" G thought to himself Either way, he was ready for a fight

"Shame." The man sounded disappointed, but there was a note of excitement that held on to his word. He wanted to say that his actions were made in duty to the human race, but he was consummate liar that could convince even himself. He enjoyed the hunt. In truth he was no better than the man that challenged him below.
The buzz of the night permeated the air, for not even in the dead of dark could the city rest. It would only be a matter of time before the police arrived, but here? He knew this place. If the police had the capacity to do much here they wouldn't need vigilante justice, would they? Shuichi could practically see the tension hanging in the air. No, it wasn't from the other guy. The way those eyes pierced into him, Shuichi could tell he was seen as nothing more than an interference. An enemy to be discarded.
"I was hoping that you were the kind to see reason." Surely, it was the unknown that hung on Shuichi's heart. Did the man have a quirk? What was it? He didn't have any information aside from an oddly familiar feeling, and that was nothing to go off of. A sad thing that he would have to judge the enemy before he had weighed their sins. For the sake of humanity, he would bear this sin. That was his creed. While he did not desire his death, there were those that would throw themselves in his way. Fools that believed in a better world through more humane means; that called him evil, a monster. Even if they were right, that did not make them any less wrong.
The five seconds had come quickly, though it felt as if an eternity had been lifted from his shoulders. The barrel of his gun quickly dropped into position with an aim just as quick! With little warning, he would take two rapid shots at the vigilante's center of mass! Such did they value the powers given to them by God that they forgot that humanity had been perfecting the art of killing for centuries by the time they started their rise.

Ugh, this looked like some 'holier than thou' kind of Villain. Someone who thinks they know things and are beyond JUSTICE. The two men stared down each other. The masked one spoke how he hoped G was the kind to see reason. G still didnt reply though, he was ready for action. He just waited to see which of them will make the first blow
G did not have to wait much more. Mere 5 seconds later, two shots were fired. G quickly summoned Goliath, his humanoid armoured isopod spirit animal to block the gunshots. The animal quickly blocked it with its forearm which was covered by its exoskeleton. The bullet reflected away elsewhere.
... "MMmrereooow" and by the sound in an alley, it hit some trash cat "That death's on you!" G said and immediatelly pointed his finger at the masked guy. G orders Goliath to attack and thus that is what the Spirit Animal does. Forming a sword out of water, the animal charges at the masked man quickly to cut him
The man was the first to throw and attack and now it was G's turn to counter attack. He was going down for killing anyone and for attempting to kill him

"That type, then?" Never a good sign. Things got dicey when the enemy didn't need to actually do anything. Even if he managed to kill the monster, what was to stop him from bringing it back yet again? If his bullets only scraped at the armor of the beast. he questioned if he even had the wherewithal to take down both the master and the beast in the same span. Unforunate. "I could care less about a cat."
Pushing back against the edge of the building, Martyr would tumble backwards and right out of the ruinous strike. His heart thrummed with excitement, threatening to flood his brain with wild adrenaline at any second. Threatening to ruin his aim. His mind filled with the smell of anger. Self-pity? How incompetent of him.
If that oversized arthropod's carapace could take his bullets with not but a glance, he doubted he could pierce its armor with anything more than a concentrated barrage. No, relied too much on something unrealistic. Eyes, he would have to go for the eyes. At the tail end of his tumble, Shuichi took quick aim as the thing flung itself on top of the squat building with him. Its very weight made the roof beneath him shake as if it were a more tenuous purchase. His sights landed upon those deep black eyes. They reminded him of the sound of molasses. Disgusting.
He pulled the trigger, and released his shot. He wasn't a fool enough to stick around and witness the results of his The thing was faster than him. The only reason he had been able to dodge was the original distance between them when it charged. Shuichi may not have been the fastest around, but he sprinted as fast as his legs would carry him towards the roof access door.

The bullet ricocheted off elsewhere and apparently hit a cat. G immediatelly blamed the villain. But the villain didnt care about the cat "Tch. You should" and he went to order Goliath to attack. But the man attacked and shot again. The summon once again blocked the attack by covering its face. The bullets hitting the hard exoskeleton.
"Use Water Slap" G told his summon. Goliath soon extended his clawed hand and formed some water there. He immediatelly charged at the hunman to hit him with the watery claw to deal some elemental damage
G keeps an eye on the villain from a safe distance as he is strategizing how his summon attacks. He didnt want to summon Striker, his secondary summon yet as he believed this was to be handled with just Goliath. Besides, so far the villain only used firearms. What was his Quirk. Was it a hidden ace? Or was it not a combat quirk hence the firearm. Or was it a supplementary quirk that helped his aim and give more firepower. Too much questions and variables. He glanced down at the poor victims the man killed. G had to stop this villain. As fast as possible before he caused more harm
