And the bat says "Bonjour!" MOST HOMELESS PEOPLE WERE WISE ENOUGH to build hovels in sheltered, out-of-the-way locations.
Then again-- most homeless people weren’t space-cadet ten-year-olds.
Shiloh chose what he viewed as the best possible place to sleep-- particularly when one had nothing to their name. The local playground. Only kids played at playgrounds, and there were already walls and ceilings to shelter you from the elements. Never mind that it wasn’t insulated. Never mind that you weren’t supposed to be there after dark. Never mind that dangerous adults still lingered after hours. This was Shiloh’s domain.
The playground in question was constructed of wood and steel, designed to look like a castle-- complete with bridges and narrow passageways and grand towers and tunnels. It reminded Shiloh of the renaissance buildings back in France. He had stashed his accouterments in a nearby tree, keeping only a massive winter coat with him. He tucked his wings up under the coat, pulled his legs in, and used it as a blanket to sleep.
That was how the older boys found him-- curled-up in a ball in this big old coat, shivering in his sleep. Shiloh awoke to their murmurs.
He knew by their voices that they were boys. And he knew by the vague outlines of their bodies that they were close to his age, but maybe a bit older. They spoke Japanese-- of course they spoke Japanese.
“Excuse me,” Shiloh said groggily, in English. He started to get up, and one of the boys shoved him, with one hand, into the gaping mouth of the slide behind him. Down, down, down Shiloh went, sliding headfirst down the slide. He landed in a fantastic explosion of wood chips, unable to get free of the coat. Laughter followed him. Shiloh could hear the youths getting into the slide behind him.
Still clumsy with sleep, the child rolled onto his knees and staggered to his feet. He had to get out of here. His echolocation sent no data back-- open air-- if he could just get this coat off, if he could just get his wings open, he could fly away.
Shiloh broke into a run-- the footsteps of the boys behind him were like a thundering herd. So panicked was he that the diminutive bat forgot to echolocate-- running blind in the mist of the early morning.
And what a humorous retreat it must have been. His legs were completely concealed by the coat, and having his wings restrained made his stride awkward and seesawing. The unused sleeves fluttered in the breeze behind him.
One of the pursuers caught hold of Shiloh’s sleeve, bringing the child to a grinding halt. The coat’s collar dug painfully into his neck.
The questions that followed, still in Japanese, went unanswered. Shiloh didn't speak Japanese.
“Where do you think you’re going? We just want to have a little fun~ don’t you?”
“What’re you doing sleeping out here, huh? All by yourself?”
"Where are your parents, huh?"
Shiloh did his best to shrink into the coat. If he could wriggle out of it, he could fly away. Shiloh tugged, futilely, tears welling in his useless black eyes.
"Ah look, he's crying!
This elicited a chorus of laughs from the boys.
"Let's tie his sleeves up!"

The early morning was a sorry time for Hinata to go on patrol. An especially misty morning like it was right now was extra bad for the man. His miasma darkens the mist and doesn't do its effects. It's a good scare tactic, but useless in a fight. Thankfully villains are much more active at night than at day, especially in the morning. So he had nothing to worry about for now, except maybe his mask falling off and people screaming at his green skin and deformed face, but once again thanks to it being early in the morning nobody was out yet, and he looked like a jogger jogging first thing in the morning.
While out on his patrol path Hinata heard sounds at the playground, and when he was jogging past he assumed it was general roughhousing that children get into at that age, but as he jogged by he heard what the children were saying, it appears to be a case of childhood bullying, Hinata stopped dead in his tracks right there. And he turned his head to what is transpiring. The children were harassing a giant fruit bat, no, it was a child. A child with a quirk a very extreme quirk, oh so this is what is going on.
Hinata pretended not to notice, this wasn't his fight, to get involved in, not with children. And as Hinata took a few steps forward and about to speed up into a jog he heard one of the kids mockingly ask if he was crying, Hinata let out a deep groan and a small "Shit," as he started walking towards the children who hasn't noticed him yet and he tore off his mask and already an inky black haze started to billow out of his mouth. And with a sudden inhale and exhale he let out a cloud of black smoke to surround the children due to the heavy mist and breeze, it would be harmless. But scary.
Before the children could respond Hinata started to talk, "You kids should play nice---" The smoke cleared enough to reveal his green and half mutilated face to the children, "Before a real monster decided to do the same with you," Hinata said as another burst of black smoke was billowing out of his mouth to cover his face up again. Shame Hinata couldn't see the shitty children's reactions. It'd be hilarious.

And the bat says, "Bonjour!" As eager as the gaggle of boys were to single-out someone smaller than them, the arrival of An Adult™ meant the end of their merriment—particularly when said Adult™ looked like an extra from the most recent zombie apocalypse movie. The bystander interrupted with a low, dangerous few words.
The bullies yelled in alarm, their shouts tilting towards high-pitched squeals, and they scattered. It was a school day, anyways, and they weren’t about to waste their time battling some horror film reject.
Of course, in their retreat they’d simply let Shiloh go, so the child fell over like a felled tree, no longer supported by the sleeve they’d been dangling him from. Thankfully the coat broke his fall. The child pathetically began to inch backwards out of the coat rump first, using his wings to push it back up over his head. Once free, he rolled into a sitting position, clicking uncertainly. Why had they screamed, hm? The clicks gave him a vague idea of his surroundings—grassy knolls to the very edges of how far he could hear, and the interloper standing immediately behind him, a solitary blip on the radar.
Their build was angular and tall—clearly a man, which matched their voice. So why had the boys run? Was it just a classic case of “caught in the act”? Shiloh hefted himself up off of the ground, standing there in his tank top and shorts—unseasonable, for early March, but fur kept out most of the chill. His eyes were still teary from the momentary terror of the pursuit.
With eyes as small as his, though, it was difficult to tell that he was mostly blind. But as he turned to face his rescuer, it was clear that something was up—he didn’t even wince at the apparent zombie’s ghastly appearance, or the billowing miasma from his mouth. He could only sense a man-- and so he reacted as he would to any normal man.
First, the child mopped at his eyes with the back of his hand, his wing fanning slightly as he did so. Then, having mopped his tears, the child bent at the waist in a bow—during the two months he’d been here, he’d learned that Japanese people bowed a lot—and said one of the few phrases he’d picked-up, too.
“Arigatou gozaimasu,” Shiloh said simply, his voice still thick and wet from the tears. Thank you. There was something distinctly foreign about the hard “R” with which he said “arigatou”. Having thanked his rescuer, the child gathered his massive coat into his arms, and began to waddle back towards the playground. Maybe he could get a few more hours of sleep before normal parkgoers showed-up.

Hinata heard the shitty children scream and scatter at his words and visage. It’s one thing seeing a zombie in a movie and another to see one in real life. So The zombie man heard them dropped the bat kid and slowly the black smoke starts to fade from the air and clear up back to an early morning mist. And Hinata could get a better look at the target of bullying. He was covered in head to toe in brown fur, had the face of a bat and has large wings. A mutation quirk to be sure. Hinata couldn’t tell the ages of normal kids let alone this one. For as much as he knows this could be not a kid at all. But the way his eyes are watery with tears it’s pretty easy to gather that he’s a kid.
The man just awkwardly stood there when the bat kid mopped up his tears not really sure how to deal with this whole thing, he has never been around kids before. And he doesn’t know how to talk to them or how he should be approaching them. He knew for sure his little stunt with the bullies will get him an earful if any of the other heroes caught wind of it. He scratched the back of his neck as the kid thanked him, it took a few moments for Hinata to process the words and he simply nodded and he turned around ready to leave and go on with his day.
Hinata took a few steps forward but he stopped as those bullies words crept back into his mind and Hinata tried to ignore them with another step forward but the thoughts of that kid being homeless, parentless, and defenseless. A lonely freak of a child with nobody to help him-” Shit-" Hinata swore at himself he couldn’t leave this kid alone with at least some words. His Japanese was rough and awkward so he’s probably a foreigner. Hopefully, he speaks English. Hinata let out a groan at his own softness and turned around and in rough English asked the bat kid ” Hey kid, What is your name?” Hinata asked the kid with a very thick and very clearly Japanese accented English.
” I am hero, I am zombie king.” Hinata struggled to get the right words out but hopefully, he gets his point across. ” Are you… okay?” Hinata struggled to word it properly, Hinata secretly hoped the kid doesn’t ramble off in English because he wouldn’t understand half of it. But he needs to make sure the kid is safe and healthy. That is sadly part of his job. Be a hero to everybody. Or at least that’s what he told himself it’s not like he worried for this kid or anything.

And the bat says, "Bonjour!" SHILOH SHUFFLED HIS WAY THROUGH the wet grass, singing to himself. Singing was a small comfort, whenever things scared him, by helping to get his mind off of scary things.
“À la claire fontaine… M'en allant promener… J'ai trouvé l'eau si belle… Que je m'y suis--”
He paused at the small partition between grass and wood chips, hopping onto the ledge before hopping into the wood chips. He’d shuffled a few more steps, devolving into humming, when a voice interrupted him. The child turned, his song faltering. It was the man again, but his voice didn’t sound as growly and mean. Hey! And he spoke English! Nice!
“Ah, merveilleux! You speak English!” the boy said airily, his ears perking, “I am Shiloh Dubois.”
His voice was a different kind of accented-- the sort of soft and romantic French lilt at its edges. But his pronunciation was good enough. Better than “hero, Zombie King’s” English, anyways.
“Nice to meet you,” the child replied, sniffling, “But… why?”
It was a weird question, and vague enough. Why was he a hero? Why was he a Zombie King?
“Mm, yes,” Shiloh said, “They just surprised me. I was--” he looked towards the tower of the playground, “--sss-surprised?”
Shiloh had almost said “sleeping”. And he couldn’t tell an adult that he was sleeping on a playground, they would haul him off to the orphanage to be forgotten.
He had to be more careful. Shiloh cleared his throat. Maybe he changed the subject, Zombie King wouldn’t notice.
“Why are you the Zombie King?” the boy insisted, “Are you a human king with zombie followers? Or are you a zombie king with human followers?”
He opened his eyes and squinted, all he could see was the vague outline of a man, some greens and blacks, but nothing discernible. His echolocation didn’t do much, either. He’d need to get right up by the man’s face to sense any of the extensive injuries.

Hinata has hoped for a simple, yeah I am okay, I need to head to class. Nope instead as the boy hummed away back into the slides his song faltered as Hinata spoke to him. He couldn’t quite make out the words, but he knew it wasn’t English. And Hinata started to sweat. Wait why was he sweating? Its just a kid. He’s getting soft in his old age.
But after the two paused the boy spoke, in French then in English. Both language he doesn’t speak very well or at all in the case of French. But the boy confirmed his name in English as Shiloh Dubois. ”uh, ah nice meeting you Shiloh-kun…” Oh God he called him kun he’s getting really soft. But the boy returned the sentiment and asked why? Why what? Hinata simply raised an eyebrow at this question. Why he looked like a freak? Why he helped? Why he was a hero? Those are all loaded questions.
Hinata’s dark eyes just kinda drifted away from the boy as he tried to figure out where to begin Oh God he has to do this in English. But thankfully before he could badly explain his whole deal the boy explained that the boys caught him off guard, probably when he was sleeping. Hinata might not know English but lying is universal. Hinata tilts his head at the boy, he has to be careful he doesn’t want to scare off this kid. ”Shiloh? Do you get sleep…y? during the day?” Why is English so hard. But Hinata needed to know if this kid is more active at night like his visage might imply.
Hinata can tell right off the bat… no pun intended… that Shiloh is homeless. He was a homeless kid himself just a few short years ago. So he can tell. And Hinata could tell this was recent. A park is a go to place for homeless people when they are young, but it’s too public and too loud if he’s active at night and parents aren’t as kind to homeless kids as one would think they would be. As an ex homeless kid Hinata knows inviting him to his house will alert red flags even if he is a hero and even if he is still naïve. So for now he can be kind and hope somebody more equipped could deal with him. This kid seems nice if weird.
Then the kid started asking a hundred questions and Hinata’s forced an overly toothy smile with some of his literal teeth sticking out of his face. ”It uh it’s my hero name… nickname…?” Hinats is struggling here. Somebody please send help. He should’ve picked up more English over the years... ”I uh look zombie…I am green and zombie… ish?” Hinata tried to speak as clearly as he could but goodness is he struggling right now.

And the bat says, "Bonjour!" THE BOY SHIFTED HIS WEIGHT, tightening his hold on the coat that he'd just removed. Shiloh had thought that, once he'd answered Zombie King's questions, the King would leave again. But instead, the King had more questions! And they were silly questions, too! The King wanted to know if Shiloh got sleepy during the day... was it because he was a bat?
"I sleep at night," the boy said plainly, inclining his head, "Do... you sleep during the day?"
Maybe Zombie King slept during the day, and felt self-conscious about it? Maybe he wanted a friend who also slept during the day, so that he felt less self-conscious about it? Before the King could get a word in edgewise, the boy tried to placate his insecurities by offering reassurances.
"Plenty of people sleep during the day," Shiloh assured the man, "It's nothing to be embarrassed about. My papa said that there are people who work all night long. So... you should not feel bad about sleeping during the day."
He smiled wanly.
Zombie King then went-on to describe that Zombie King was his hero name... and that he looked like a zombie.
"Oh, really?" the boy said, politely, "So you are a zombie... but not a king... I'm sorry."
Shiloh had to offer his condolences for Zombie King's nonexistent subjects. What was a king without people to rule?
"How does one look like a zombie?" the child asked, "Zombies are just dead people who wake up again, so wouldn't a zombie-looking person just be... a person? I mean... I look like a bat... which does not look like a person at all... but a zombie is still a person. Right? And why would a zombie turn green? Does something happen to your skin once you die?"
Clearly, as the resident zombie, Zombie King should be an expert on this.

God, this was so akaward. Hinata is not good with kids at all. They were so- much to deal with, and he could tell this kid was even more much to deal with. Hinata felt silly, asking his question. He shouldn't have assumed his sleeping habits. He was the kettle here, wasn't he? His bad. "Ah, apologies, I am sorry, should not have... guessed that---?" English is so hard. And he asked if he slept at night, which to get from an actual bat child was wild to hear, Hinata simply nods his head and says, "Yes, I am ... saving people at night---?" God he could tell that came out weird.
Hinata was looking the boy up and down now and noticed a few things about him. He was small, bat-like, and was wearing the wrong clothes for the season. It was obvious from sight alone why this kid was in a state like this right now. But the one thing he noticed that stood out to him was that the boy was staring at his general direction, but wasn't looking him in the eyes. Was-Was the kid blind? He heard of being blind as a bat, but he didn't think it was serious, maybe he's a weird kid. Maybe he doesn't like looking people in the eyes.
Oh no. Hinata's worst fear was happening. As suddenly, the bat boy started to ramble off a mile a second in English, he tried to process it all, but holy shit, there was a lot to go over, Hinata's toothy smile started to falter as he struggles to understand. The boy was going through a million different topics and before Hinata could struggle to speak the boy moved on to the next topic. All Hinata could say was "Huh-okay-wha-alright-uh-wait?" he struggled half a word at a time before being cut off and moving onto the next topic.
Hinata's head was spinning from all the half-understood information and asked, "Uhhhhh---wait you never sawn a zombie before?" Hinata said as he tried so hard to understand everything the boy said, but all he picked up on is the zombie topic. A bit egotistical, but it's all he understood from the boy's a million a mile speech.

And the bat says, "Bonjour!" BY FAR THE MOST CONFOUNDING thing about Zombie King was that he did not answer all of Shiloh's questions. He was supposed to be the expert on zombies! Because he was the Zombie King! Maybe he had overthrown the real king and simply taken his title. The child was finally halted in his barrage of questions when the man asked him to wait, and he inclined his head. Of course, good manners required him to be respectful to all adults... but this man was answering his questions with a question of his own!
"I've seen zombies in cartoons," the boy replied. This was getting him nowhere! Here, he was trying to get intel, and this man kept asking him more questions, "But this is not a cartoon! And I am not allowed to watch scary movies!"
Not that he wanted to watch scary movies. The bat fidgeted, adjusting his hold on his coat. He needed answers.
"So..." Shiloh began again, sighing theatrically. This time he would speak more slowly, in an attempt not to lose the unsuspecting hero, "Zombies are... dead people who woke up, right? So you... look like a person? But... why are you green...?"
The bat-boy inclined his head towards the man's face, trying to get a better reading of its contours-- it seemed normal, for the most part... a gaunt and attractive face, but... the right side of his face was... less smooth. And as the man began to speak, Shiloh's expression slackened a bit in surprise. Those were his teeth! His teeth weren't covered by his cheeks! His furry brow stitched.
"Zombie King, sir?" the boy asked, his tone distinctly concerned and small, "Does... your face hurt?"
Any former classmates would've been quick to tell Shiloh that he was stupid-- any sane child would be afraid of Zombie King. But any sane child would be afraid of Shiloh, too. So instead the boy was simply concerned.

Despite the moniker and his general appearance, Hinata has a passing knowledge of the imaginary topic of zombies. Despite his whole deal, Hinata is not, in fact, a zombie but rather a man with an unfortunate quirk. Perhaps he was used to people judging him by his appearance that he's not used to being viewed as a regular person to be asked questions like right now. He's used to comforting people from seeing his face and telling them not to be scared, or that's he's a good guy, not just any decent person but a hero. People sometimes wouldn't believe him. So he grew apathetic to the zombie park of his moniker despite it being a cruel comment and accepted it as part of his identity now.
But there was something about being asked typical questions, albeit still about zombies, but it felt like genuine questions instead of prying that most people do. Hinata nods his head as the boy explained how he knows zombies and typical child answers, he thinks? He doesn't know what's typical for children to watch and not watch. So as far as he knows, he's just assuming what kids watch. Hinata just let out another smile a more genuine one this time, "Scary movies, gross..." Hinata said while sticking his tongue out at the end at himself as he tries so hard to explain his displeasure of horror movies but all that came out... was that. If this was in Japanese, he could go into so many more details.
When the boy tried to explain his understanding of zombies, it seemed a bit---childish? Is it childish if a child says it? Is it just ish in this case? Hinata isn't entirely sure. But Hinata was understanding better what he was saying since he slowed down and was using more simple words, Hinata looked thoughtful for a moment with his black eyes closing and looking deep in thought, before saying, "Yes, and uh--- I'm green due to uh - my quirk - I breathe out ... a haze---?" Hinata opened his eyes as he tries to explain as well as he could with his miserable attempt at English.
Suddenly the boy, leaned up close to get a closer look at his face and the boy reacted---albeit not as overtly as most people, but Hinata couldn't help but turn the mutilated half of his face away from the kid as if to protect him from the view that he's now starting to figure out he can barely see. But the boy's next question took Hinata out for a loop when instead of asking any weird or prying questions, the boy-Shiloh asked if his face hurts. Hinata wasn't expecting such a childishly innocent question, Hinata let out a sigh, a more happy one this time and faced the boy again, teeth and all, "no, not anymore---not anymore---despite how bad it looks it doesn't hurt..." Hinata answered the boy's question. Hinata wasn't used to kids just asking him childish questions---it was nice.

And the bat says, "Bonjour!" SHILOH SIMPLY NODDED as Zombie King supplied his answers. He was green because of his quirk, and his face didn’t hurt. Well, good. Because if it did hurt, they would need to find a nurse, and Shiloh didn’t know where to find one, here.
“That’s good,” the child said.
And that was all that he said. Having asked the questions he had, the boy assumed that the conversation was over. So he bowed, briefly, and gave a placid, “Have a good day.”
Then Shiloh began to bobble back towards the playground, singing to himself, picking his song up where it had been left-off. The sound of his airy, distracted voice reverberated off of the play structure, painting an accurate landscape of where he needed to walk. He reached the stairs leading-in to the main part of the playground, and ascended by hoping from step to step. Shiloh’s stomach yowled. The boy stopped in his tracks, seeming to realize something, and he turned back.
“Mr. Zombie King!” he shouted, uncertain if the man was even still within earshot. He opened his eyes, saw only grey, and closed them again. He leaned against the bars of the play structure, daring his range to reach further, “Mr. Zombie King?!”
He would wait for an answer before proceeding.
“How do you get to the closest grocery store?”

"Yeah, good," Hinata said hesitantly, feeling like they are going their separate ways for now. And with that, the batboy bowed at him, which was slightly off-center and told him to have a good day. Hinata nods at the boy silently, and before he walks off to the streets of Tokyo, he looked back once more at the homeless child. And without a word, he pulled out his phone and sent a quick text to the hero chat, about this kid and keep an eye out for him.
When he finished texting, the small accented voice of the batboy rise beyond his thoughts, and he looks over to the boy who was leaning against the play structure, and when he raised his boy higher for him to hear him more Hinata walks over to the boy and softly ask, "Yes kid, I'm here," Hinata said as he noticed that the boy's eyes were still close. Now that he thinks about it, they were closed for most of their conversation. How interesting. And scary to think about as the half-decent adult that he is. He doesn't like kids, but to let him walk around half-blind, isn't right, but he also lacks the resources to help the child, that's half a lie, he has the resources, but he knows nothing about children, and dealing with one he struggles to understand isn't his area of expertise. Maybe if he guides him into a certain route path---
Suddenly while deep in the thought the young batboy asked where he could find the nearest grocery store, which Hinata blankly stares at the grocery store sign just across the street-the busy street at the approaching height of morning rush hour. "Uhh, There's a grocery store ---out of the park exit---then turn left and left and left and left and left and right---do you understand?" Hinata can barely understand his English.

And the bat says, "Bonjour!" THE DIRECTIONS WERE NOT VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD. H... how many left's were there, again? Shiloh tried to count, tried to follow, but there were just... far too many. Maybe the zombie man didn't know either, but he was too embarrassed to say? Despite his confusion, when Zombie King asked if Shiloh understood, the boy proudly replied, "Yes, I understand! Thank you very much!"
Because he did, after all, understand... but he didn't know where the park exit was, or how many left's he had to take, so... well... he supposed he would ask someone else for directions. Or just wander around until he found it. It wasn't like he had anywhere to go, anyways.
Shiloh sung to himself across the bridge, and back down the slide (frontways this time). He sung to himself as he walked towards the park bathroom and stashed his coat on the roof, and then he sung himself along the even surface of the sidewalk, following it to the main gate.
"How many left's?" the child murmured to himself in singsong French, "One... two... three... four..."
The airheaded child turned left, as instructed, guided by the chain fence that lined the edge of the park. Was that really the closest grocery store. When the sidewalk turned and the chainlink fence fell away, the boy turned left again and continued. It was a cheap trick, that Zombie King had pulled, and the boy had unwittingly fallen for it.
An hour and a half later, the child was again at the front gate, and finally ready to turn right. His stomach was yowling with hunger, and his placid songs had turned to irate clicking. The boy made sure there were no cars approaching before he wobbled his way across the street, towards the grocery store that he had painstakingly walked to. He navigated his way through the quiet parking lot, using cart returns as waypoints on his journey across the desolate stretch of concrete. Finally, the hard vertical edge of the grocery store came into his range.
"Finally," the child muttered.

Hinata felt a bit bad playing the boy like this. Making him go around the whole park for no reason, but he can't exactly let a small child cross the street by himself, and he wasn't the most qualified person to take him anywhere. But Hinata was happy the boy didn't seem to pick up on his ploy, he probably would've gotten annoyed with him if he did, which he couldn't blame him if he did. Hinata nodded his head as he waves off the boy as he exited the park while saying, "See you soon, Shiloh." If he didn't get lost, he will, now it was time to wait.
And waited he did, almost an unreasonable amount of time, he waited so long that he contacted one of his co-workers, one Hellhound to meet him at his current location to help talk to this child for him. As he learned, his English was rubbish, to be honest. The child was talking circles around him. And he could barely understand what the kid said at all. What a pain, he got himself into with this kid. But hey, at least while he waited for hellhound, and the kid he got his much-needed Gachapon fix. Hey, look, he pulled a Redhorn in his game! Awesome, she's rare! Oh, wait, is that kid finally reaching the street crossing? After an hour and a half. Well, he does have rather stubby legs. Great, he feels even worse now. But sometimes to keep a child safe, you have to give them the runaround.
Hinata as quietly as he could message Hellhound where to go now and he jogged in place for a minute, to sound like he was moving about instead of just standing by the bench playing his phone games for the whole time. What took the boy almost two hours, took the zombie man about two minutes. Hinata has since placed his mask over his face, and it was time for some acting, "Ohayo, Shiloh-Kun!" Hinata said in English as he jogged over to the kid. "Found... store... fine...by yourself...good..." Hinata has been looking up English words when he was waiting for the boy until he got bored and started playing his games. "My job.... is done...?" Is that the right word? But yeah, he was officially done work an hour ago, so this is community service in his books. "Let me... buy some... snacks... for you?" Hinatas asked the boy politely in English.

Freya’s morning consists of relaxing in front of the TV with a coffee in hand and enjoying the usual reruns of Top Gear. Nothing crazy and nothing too grand in her morning in a high rise apartment in Tokyo. But she does find it enjoyable that three chuckle fucks shooting shit and talking about cars entertaining as hell for breakfast. She'd finish one can of coffee and toss it into a bin and crack open another one. In Between commercial breaks, she checks her phone and looks at the pro hero chat. Most of it was dead due to the busy lives of pros but today was a special case. The newbie known as Zombie King put out a message about someone who can speak English and she had the joking reply back in the same language when he asked. After a minute of reply, she quickly got concerned when she saw the reply. It was apparent that it's time to do some work as she shot up and ran into her room.
“Looks like I’m rolling the dice tonight”, she said to herself as she turned off the TV.
She put on her hero outfit in its most simple variation and called a few guys at Hound HQ about it. After a bit of back and forth and replying to ZK, she quickly went out of her house and flew towards the address sent to her by him. The morning air felt amazing on her face as she flew, her fire shining in the dawn of the city. A few people noticed but then they went back to their usual business. On the way there, she stopped by the convenience store she frequents and picked up some ice cream for herself since she felt an hunger for it. After paying and doing her thing, she went back to flying with only her legs ignited.
About ten minutes went by as she arrived on scene where she can see Zombie King and a...bat boy? She landed on the ground a bit away from them and walked towards them with ice cream in hand.
“Oi, Z. I heard the call and I’m here, whats up?” She said to Zombie King as she approached slowly.
