3.3.20 • Casual/Maid • 538 • Crimson This was a day that Arlynn had been equally been looking forward to, and dreaded. The bushy haired wolf girl had been picked up directly from UA. A black sports sedan had pulled up and a man in a fancy suit held out a sign with her name on it. It was honestly was just a bit embarrassing. He even took her suitcase and put in in the car! Like what the hell! It was like those old movies her mom would watch. Even just being next to him made her feel inadequate. Her blue plaid skirt and bulky jacket seemed awful casual in comparison and her suitcase was filled with similar clothes. But Arlynn would stare out the window as the car would leave the city behind. The concrete jungle she was struggling to adjust to being left behind for tree-lined highway. It was strangely relaxing for her.
"So, who is the person who sponsored me?" Arly would ask the driver, only to be answered with a few seconds of silence. "What about yourself?" More seconds would pass and the wolf would drum her clawed fingers against the plush leather seats. "So... is this how this trip is going to go?" More silence.
Slumping over as a slight wave of boredom started to wash over her she would pull out her phone, texting on the U.A. chat a bit. Doing her best to entertain herself for a car ride that would last who knows how long. After a few moments of just typing she would start taking pictures of what was now winding mountain side to send to the UA chat. If she knew it was going to be complete silence, Arlynn would of brought some entertainment into the back seat instead of leaving it in her suitcase.
But what felt like at least two hours of driving, seemly out of nowhere nestled in between the mountains an absolutely massive mansion would come into view. "Holy crap..." Arlynn's jaw would drop as she saw the house. Taking a bunch of pictures, she would he pause as she saw that the driver was pulling off the road and starting to drive towards the mansion. "Wait? Really? There?!" She would ask to the now expected silence.
The mansion itself was huge, easily able to fit the cottage Arlynn grew up in many times over. The blue roof has multiple chimneys dotted through out of it. As the car parked, The wolf girl would clamor out of the car in awe. Traversing the massive garden in from of the house she would be captivated by the bushes and fountains. It was so serene here, so different from Tokyo. The driver would walk past her carrying her luggage, snapping Arly out of her trance enough to follow him into the manor. However once they entered the Foyer the driver would turn to her an speak his first words since they met. "Wait Here."
He would take his leave with Arlynn's luggage and the wolf girl was left to marvel at the the size of this place. She was convinced that her childhood home could fit in the foyer alone at least twice.

As the car drove up the park, a man walked out of the mansion and waited by the door. Even as the car came to a stop, the man didn’t move, instead he would wait for Arlynn and the driver to walk up the steps before opening the door up for them, bowing politely as they passed. He would follow them inside, and quietly shut the door behind him.
“Apologies for making you wait, young miss. We will return shortly” The butler added to the drivers short words before following the driver further into the home to fetch Lady Mori. While they were gone, the foyer would seem eerily silent, though with no lack of things to look at. There were multiple mirrors and paintings on the wall, a grand piano at the far back of the foyer, slightly hidden by the dual staircase that led up to a second floor. Various tables and buffets were set up adorned with various jewels and treasures. Some of which looked new, others which looked quite ancient.
Meanwhile, the butler and the driver would come to find Chiyo with two of her handmaids in the dressing room. He men had to wait by the door until Chiyo was fully dressed, sporting a simple, yet elegant white dress, crossed at the front and buckled on her right with an elegant golden pin. Chiyo brushed her hair back behind her, and as soon as the men were allowed to enter, the butler would take Lady Mori’s jacket from the hangar and bring it over to his mistress, gently placing it over her shoulder and adjusting it so that the fur rim of the hood was hugging her elegant features.
“It is still quite a cold day, Miss Mori, I would suggest wearing this overcoat to keep yourself warm.” He said kindly to which Chiyo would smile over to the buttler, though never spoke a word to him. Instead, her attention turned to the driver, and when she was informed that her newest jewel had arrived, her eyes lit up, a mischievous smile crossing her lips as she walked out of the dressing room.
Down the stairs she went, and towards the main foyer where she would find Arlynn still in awe of the treasures around her. Oh how absolutely adorable this girl was! Those ears, her hair, her tail! She really was something out of a fairytail wasn’t she? This girl was the source of so many legends, a jewel she had to have for herself and her collection.
“And so you must be little Arlynn, a pleasure to meet you young lady. Might I say you look absolutely adorable!” The woman cooed as she walked straight up to the young wolf, raising her hand to pet Arlynn’s head, gently brushing her hand along Arlynn’s right ear as she did so.

The foyer was kinda empty wasn't it? Thoughts like that swam through Arlynn' head as she kinda just fidgeted in place for a bit. It was large, echoing and empty... like really empty. How can some place full of so much stuff be so empty? No longer able to just stand in place she would start to wonder the large hall since her sponsor was taking a while to show up. Maybe it was just how she was raised but her mom always told her in the rare case of them having guests that they needed to be prepared for them and be able to greet them. But then again this foyer alone probably could fit two of the cottage she grew up in.
"I wonder what it must be like, to have so much money that you can display this stuff in the foyer with out worry..." The wolf girl mused to herself as she walked the hall, making her way to the piano she spied behind the stairs. It was nice, like the nicest piano she ever saw. It was probably worth more than what meager pickings her mom got from the farmers who owned the land they lived on. A slightly clawed finger would drift across the keys, accidentally pressing down on one of them and causing a crisp clear note to ring through the massive foyer. Arlynn's ears darted back, partially because of how loud it was, and partially cause of it being unexpected. Darting her head back and forth to make sure no one saw or was drawn to the noise she would briskly walk far away from the piano.
She found herself looking at her own reflection in an ancient mirror. The silvery surface framed by gold and sapphires. Arlynn found it funny, her yellow and blue eyes staring back at a mirror. It was strangely endearing as she moved her ears up and down and made faces at herself out of boredom. Her fingers holding her lips in a stretched smile and her tongue sticking out. Two fangs sticking out farther than the rest of her her fangs. Her teeth looking very reminiscent of a wolf. It was better than nothing considering how long-
“And so you must be little Arlynn, a pleasure to meet you young lady. Might I say you look absolutely adorable!”
The wolf girl snapped to attention like a drill sergeant caught her goofing off, spinning towards the source of the sound. "I-It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Umm.. I actually was never told your name but I thank you for sponsoring me so I can go to U.A." The words spilled out of her mouth rapidly as she did a series of quick bows. She saw a few people at U.A. bow when they said thanks, maybe that's how it was done here? But right as Arlynn looked up to actually look her sponsor in the eyes she jumped a bit after noticing how close she was.
And then Chiyo was practically on top of her. Before the wolf girl could say other wise, the slender blonde's hand would shoot up and run through her thick fur-like hair and scratch behind her ear. Despite her hair seeming to be double coated and almost wiry in appearance, it was extremely soft and well pettable. It was most likely the same for her tail, if Chiyo even had a chance to touch it. Since the moment her pale hands ran through Arlynn's fur the wolf girl's entire body stiffened, her ears went flat and her tail straight down. Her eyes narrowed as an unnaturally low and guttural growl. It was like any of the warmth or cuteness she held vanished in an instant.
Arlynn would pull herself away with as much force as she could muster before she would instinctually bite at Chiyo. "Sorry Mrs... umm... sponsor. I don't like being pet." The wolf would say, staring off at Chiyo's feet, her hand nervously rubbing up and down her jacketed arm. "It feels a bit degrading? Embarrassing? I don't know I just know I am not really a fan." More of a half truth. While her initial reaction to petting usually was always violent, she did like being pet. Her mother used to pet her and scratch behind her ears when she was younger. It did feel nice but it also made her feel like she was just some pet. Furthering this point her tail was slightly wagging against her knowledge.

"Mori, Lady Chiyo Mori." The slender woman replied as she snuggled up to the furr covered girl, smiling and giving a light squeal as she brushed her fingers again and again through her fur. Oh how enticing it was to have such a rare creature in her grasp! A truly mythical girl with the habits of a wolf, a legend in her own right. A creature so rare that she just had to be a part of her collection! Of course, slavery wasn`t exactly legal, so she had to find other means to keep her treasure close.
Even as Arlynn`s ears and tail drooped, even as the girl growled at her she didn`t let go of her. It was clear that the silent threat didn`t bother the fair skinned maiden at all. The man behind her however, suddenly happened to have what looked to be a kunai in his right hand.
However, Arlynn managed to push herself away from Chiyo, and that prompted the man to release the kunai which wired it`s way back up into his suit.
"Oh come now darling, you`re absolutely adorable. You should consider it a compliment on your radiance my dear- You shouldn`t be at all embarassed. Besides, I`m not treating you like a dog, I`m treating you like any other cutey that comes across my path" She attempted to compliment, smiling brightly as she placed her hands behind her back, causing the white gown to ruffle slightly underneath her touch.
"Oh! That`s right! I suppose we should give you a tour of the mansion, shouldn`t we? In exchange for sponsoring you to attend U.A Academy, you will be working here as my maid on your time off. You`ll report directly to my dear Akira here who will be in charge of giving you your duties for the day. Now come little one-" She said excitedly as she offered her hand to Arlynn in an invitation to join her on the tour of her home. However limited that tour may be.

"L-Lady Mori, I umm..." Honestly being called a cutie caused Arlynn's face to glow a nice pink color. "S-Still if it's all the same. I've uh.. developed some rather violent responses to being touch when not expected to be, if not most of the time. I don't want to accidentally harm you or anyone." She was unsure who the person behind here was, but the wolf noticed the glint of metal being pulled out then stuffed away. Was he really just one of the staff? Was he a bodyguard? Why would Lady Mori need a bodyguard?
"But umm... yeah. A tour would be nice, if I am going to be working here over the weekend I should know where everything is right?" The wolf would follow after her new employer, making note that the he was apparently the one directly above her. Arlynn thought she would be reporting to her sponsor directly but maybe that's how business is run? It's not like she actually knew how to run a business anyway.
"Lady Mori... Mistress Mori? I-I did have a few questions, some of which are kinda personal." She had hoped to ask in private but Arlynn wondered is Akira ever left Lady Chiyo alone. "The first being on days that U.A. ends up having events on the weekend? Would I need just need to tell you about it or what? I don't know what to do, I never actually had a job before. The next question concerns a certain time of the month."
While that probably immediately put the next thing she would say into question, thankfully it was much more innocent. "I-I don't like bringing this up but since you where so kind to sponsor me and give me a job I feel like I should. You see during the full moon I can... no I do tend to get really irritable the week up and almost feral the night of the full moon. Y-Your home is so nice I don't want to break anything, I don't believe I should work during those times." Arlynn would look down almost embarrassed at the whole situation.
"B-But other than that I only really had two more things I feel like I need to bring up. The first is a dress code... as you can um.. see I dress a certain way and I don't really have money right now for anything as nice as you or Akira. A-Also close are a pain to shop for cause of my tail. They usually require tailoring since all I can manage is to cut a whole for it. But for clothes that nice I probably shouldn't." Following close behind Arlynn would take a deep breath in. "A-Also I would like to know what you sponsored me. This is the first time we meet so I don't know how you know of me but I am grateful for the sponsorship. But I would like to know why."

Chiyo looked back towards Arlynn with that same kind smile on her face. She brought her hand up however and moved her index finger from one side to the other, tisking as she did so in a bit of a teasing manner.
" Now now little Arly- I`ll break you out of that you just wait and see. Besides, you`ll find it almost impossible to get a hit in on me, so don`t you worry about little old me." She stated joyfully as she walked further into the mansion with the girl. She began by showing her the kitchen, but pausing whenever Arlynn stated she had some more personal questions. She looked up to Akira who simply shook his head no, indicating that he wouldn`t leave no matter the reason.
"Well, since I`m your sponsor for UA, that technically makes me your guardian while you`re here. If you have any extra-curricular activities you need to attend to my dear, you simply have to tell myself or Akira. We`ll either give you the time off, or have you make up for it some other time- oh and that reminds me. If you need it, I`ll have a car drive you from the mansion to the school." She indicated, having forgotten that little detail when she had started getting everything ready for Arlynn`s arrival. It wasn`t a bother in the end, but she hated forgetting these small details.
As soon as Arlynn began speaking about a certain time of the month however, Akira stopped dead in his tracks. That... was overly personal and off putting? He let his mistress enter the kitchen with Arlynn, greeting the staff before Chiyo took Arlynn to the dining room where there would be no other people present, unlike the kitchen. Once they arrived there, the two women would be alone, Akira having dissapeared into the busy kitchen full of chefs.
"I can provide you with a safe room given some instruction on what you need, but I wonder if U.A will be able to give you a safe space during the tiem you need during a full moon? They`re budget is pretty limited after all..." She explained as she brought one hand up to her chin in false thought. She knew U.A didn`t have the available budget she did... she wouldn`t mind spending the extra money to ensure that her treasure stayed close to her.
The two would continue their tour a little bit, Chiyo showing Arlynn the dining room along with a few reception rooms, and her study. All over you oculd find beautiful treasures adorning the walls, decorating the shelves and lining the floors. It was almost like walking through a private museum.
"As for why I sponsored you. Who wouldn`t? You`re a bit of a legend you know- a real mystery, and I have to say I love myself a good adventure. I heard what I thought was nothing but a tall tale about you, and imagine my surprise to find out you were real, and pinning to be a Hero. Of course I jumped in at the first available opportunity. I want to see how you grow, how you`ll turn your legend into a great endeavor of Heroism. Ah I`m getting chills just thinking about it!" She said still so excited, smilling as she reached over to pat Arlynn`s head again, giggling softly as she knew what the girls reaction would be to getting pet.
"and don`t you worry about the dress code! I`ve got tailors on standby! I have been waiting for you after all, so I already have one of your uniforms prepared for you! of course the girls will be happy to alter any of your existing clothes for you as well!"

"A car to and from school would be nice, but U.A. is already informed that I am spending the week ends here so I really only would need a ride on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons. But I'll be sure to let you know right away." Arlynn would state as they walked through the kitchens, it smelled absolutely divine in there, even though it was just whatever linger scent from the last meal. But Arlynn would fumble and pull out a slightly scratched up smart phone. The gashes on the phone matched up pretty nicely with her claws, suggesting Arlynn wasn't the most careful with it, or she had issues with technology.
"C-Could I get your number? I have my mom as an emergency number but if I had yours I could text you about things as I learn about them and if anything happened U.A. could contact you since you are my sponsor." Her ears would go back out of nervousness. "Well umm... a room I can't break out off. Space to move around and things to distract me. Depending on the time of the full moon during the month can also effect a few things. But locks from out the outside, I can break through wood but it takes me a long time to dig through skill, I used to say stone but I have started to be able to cut through it. If I am tied up I only get more violent it seems. It got to the point at home by mom would lead me out into the woods and hoped I didn't hurt anything. Even though her quirk is similar to mine she never had this issue. I mean she would get grumpy but nothing on my level."
"But Professor Possum said that he would work something out, but I wanted to bring it up in case I am here when it hits, since it happens so quickly." The pair would eventually would end up walking through a few rooms, each only putting Arlynn in awe of her sponsor. Just how much money could one person have? For a while the wolf was trying to measure the place by how many of her childhood homes could be fit into this place, but by now she had lost track.
"Legend?" The wolf girl's head would cock to the side in confusion as Chiyo said that, to her this was the first time hearing this. She was just used to people showing up in her woods and her showing them the door in some way or another. "T-Thanks I guess but I really don't know what you mean by-"
Her body once again froze up when Chiyo pulled her in to pat her on the head. A light growl would escape her but she would do her best to suppress it. Even if Chiyo was confident Arlynn wouldn't touch her, when they where this close? Either way Arlynn would just be standing there like a stick with her eyes closed waiting for Chiyo to be finished. "Most of my clothes where fixed by my mom, it's just any new clothes would require me to make edits to them."
