APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Enri is short in stature and doesn't exactly have the most voluptuous frame so she has been confused for a short boy in the past. When she was younger she tried to dress and carry herself in an exaggerated feminine way but since she has grown older she has gotten accustomed to her tomboy appearance and has embraced it. She often jokes about how she could easily pass for a boy in middle school if she just wore the uniform.
She tends to wear relaxed and unflattering clothing most of the time. Cool colored blouses and shirts that match her natural skin and hair tone go well with blue jeans or dark leggings are her usual attire. When it gets cold she tends to bundle up in multiple layers and show off with a nice scarf, or if she wants to be relaxed she wears a beat-up baggy hoodie over her usual clothes.

Personality:
When Enri first came to the school a lot of people would have said she was quiet but quirky and cute. She acted over the top feminine to try and cover for her more boyish habits and tried to play up being a girly girl because that's what she thought she needed to do to fit in.
Now she has gotten more comfortable in her skin and is willing to admit how she feels about her self she has endorsed those tomboy traits, while also enjoying the feminine aspects of herself. She is comfortable playing games and wrestling around with the boys of her class, but also going out shopping and playing dress-up with her female classmates.
She tries her best not to come across as vulnerable and weak, since all of her classmates are so strong and courageous, but in truth, she is scared of a lot of things. She scared that her classmates are surpassing her in the hero field because she is focusing too much on school work. She is also scared that once she gets out in the real world she won't be able to hold her own.
She is also terrified of the dark, and just cant seem to overcome that fear no matter how hard she tries. Since she lives at her apartment instead of the school she get away with leaving the lights on at night, but she still feels extremely lonely. With these problems rising to a head she has thought about coming out to a classmate about her issues but she feels that she hasn't grown close enough to any of them to the point that she can talk to someone about such deepseated issues.

HISTORY
Enri grew up in a small apartment in Tokyo with her very hard working mother and father. Enri knew her parents were very kind to her and loved her very much, but for the most part, she doesn't remember them. She was only five when a stranger with tears in his eyes came to her home to tell her they had passed.
Enri's parents had worked at the estate of a fairly well to do American Soldier turned businessman named Alan Ridley. THough Enri did not know it Alan had grown quite close to her father, so far as to even call him a dear friend instead of an employee. When Alan came with the police to find poor Enri, he did so with guilt and sorrow in his heart. Alan felt guilty for their deaths, for which he was at least a little Guilty.
Alan told Enri that her parents had passed away due to an accident and that he had petitioned to take her to live with him and his daughter. Enri remembers crying when she slept in the foster home they placed her in, wishing she could have her parents back. One day, after weeks of passing through a foster system, Alan found young Enri alone and sobbing in a corner. No matter how hard Alan had tried to forget about the girl his guilt pushed him to rescue her.
For several years Enri lived with Alan and his Daughter Emily and was given a pleasant life. At first, Enri tried to play the part of Alan's second daughter, but it was a ruse and the older she got the farther that thought got from her mind. She could never be his daughter, and he would never truly love her like one. No matter how hard he tried Enri could see that he did not look at her with the same eyes. Whenever Alan saw his daughter they lit up with life, but she could see when he looked at her was guilt and pity. This did not stop her from treating her well and trying his best to help fix a poor broken girl.
The one person that did truly love Enri without bias was Emily, who was always a bright ball of sunshine in the sometimes bleak moors of Enri's mind. Emily always knew how to cheer Enri up and as they grew up together taught her very valuable lessons about positivity. In school she would always stand near Emily, allowing her to talk in her stead since she could read the ever silent Enri like a book.
One fateful day in high school some boys were harassing Emily in the hall one of them even dared to grab her by the wrist. Enri could not stand this and while still standing completely and silent she lashed out at Emily's attacker. A spectral hand sprang forth into existence and punched the boy square in the face. Enri, of course, spoke honestly when questioned by the principal of the American run high school, since doing otherwise could be detrimental to Emily's education.
When she returned home she informed Alan of her expulsion from the school and apologized greatly. But she did not do so without a plan. She informed him of a new school that was accepting a unique individual to teach them to help protect others. Alan had heard about the school and despite his best wishes, he caved in after a short discussion. Enri refused to squander the good life that Alan had given him, and despite this one occurrence, she was certain she could attain entry with enough hard work.
Enri now lives in a small apartment in Ikebukuro, paid for by Alan despite Enri's objections, with just herself and the kitten she adopted to keep her company. She was unfortunately late on beginning classes since she had dedicated far too much time moving out and only managed to gain enrollment at the last minute. Enri Looks forward to moving into the dorms and meeting other students.
----
Now that she has been attending UA for almost two years she has discovered some new problems with her life. While she has been doing a great job keeping up with her academics and excelling in her grades in class, she has almost no social life. She has also discovered that she has been falling far behind her classmates from a hero perspective. Since she has focused so hard on her grades she has invested almost no time, other than the required classes, in Hero studies and events. She has renewed her interest in this though and has decided to try and push herself to be both more social and skilled like her classmates.
