With the festival activities drawing closer, and, as a major plus, his hibernation period settling down, Tsuji saw fit as to try out some British culture, and see if anyone wanted to hang out at a nearby park, specifically to sit in the café, and enjoy some confections that he had learned of. Getting very much into the spirit of things, the young bear thought he had dressed appropriately, but most of the patrons were relatively vexed by his... questionable choice. See, he had listened to some music on the way to England, and wanted to have a go at emulating the look of it. So, with a sleeveless leather jacket, adorned with pins and a big union jack patch, plus some black jeans, he had a cool-looking (but rather unfitting) punk-style outfit, almost a century old in terms of the culture. Tsuji had also attempted to fashion his fur into a mohawk, but he found it kinda hard, so instead he bought a faux nose ring to place in his... well, nose. He had messaged people in UA chat with the following:
Tsuji: Hey everyone! I'm down by the park closest to the hostels, come hang out if you want, there's tea and these things called “crumpets”, you gotta try them! Oh, and come dressed cool, it's time to really get into the spirit of this place!
Taking a sip of his tea, the bear waited for someone to show up, eager to see how cool they would look. He adjusted his translator accordingly – just in case anyone wanted to order stuff and didn't have one – and finally, he put on his headphones, and began to listen to some “ loud UK music” as he called it. Tsuji didn't fully grasp it lyrically, but he thought it sounded cool, and that was what mattered.

"Dressed cool, huh..." Tsuji's message remained reflected on Momoko's remote interface for her phone. As much as she had been wanting to go tour the city more, even she had to admit that she didn't have the nerve to do so all by herself in a foreign country. Opportunities like this were golden. And crumpets sounded delicious. "Cool dress..." The small girl gave the vague description some thought before her eyes sparked as she realized exactly what this called for. She took a quick dive into her suitcase to locate the outfit that she was thinking of, one of the many that she had packed for this journey just in case they'd see use. It was less overplanning and more a whim; at her size Momoko could easily afford to pack a lot of "unnecessary" things with her. In this instance, this included an outfit modeled after a victorian hunting outfit, albeit with a blue knee-length skirt and tights instead of pants. It wasn't quite up to scrub if you had compared it to the genuine article, partly because it had been made some time ago during a... let's call it a "phase". Nevertheless, everything from the auburn vest to the burnt sienna ulster, from the brown boots to the accompanying cap were all made by Momoko. "Perfect!"Getting to the cafe itself was trickier, but there was a relatively safe path as far as Momoko's needs were concerned. She could just follow the wall to the park from the hotel, getting a lot of looks as she scurried along with a pace that didn't let those who paid attention to her do so for too long. While she didn't run into anything problematic on the way to the cafe, she had taken one of her Pressure-Needle vambraces with her to be able to avoid any unexpected dangers. It wasn't hard to spot the bear student once she did make it there... especially in... his... "...what?"...it had to be Tsuji, but Momoko was having hard time in processing what she was looking at. It very much didn't look like the same person who she had worked with during the internship. The crumpets would have to wait for now. Momoko made a strong leap from the floor to the table, making her presence known to the "host" if they hadn't spotted her already. "Hiya, Kuma-san! I have arrived here to help you defeat these 'crumpets'! I have to admit that you look a bit different from what I remember, ahaha!" Momoko's laughter was friendly, and served mostly as her attempt to navigate through this bizarre situation. At least the day wouldn't be boring.

Tsuji’s message in the chat caught Feng's attention as she was getting ready to head out for the day. With nothing else better to do aside from just walk around, she would head out and do her best to meet up with him. The country was fairly interesting to say the least, cooler than what she was expecting and a lot of shops to buy various foods from. She wanted to try them all as it was the most sane solution to sate her curiosity. Heading out in the town, she would wonder where the large bear would be...before she would spot perhaps the most stand out sight in all of the country. A punk rock bear who is sipping tea by himself, something thar can only happen in fever dreams if one could say.
She would be dressed in her normal attire of overalls and white sweater paired with a necklace. It was the oddest choice of fashion but she would walk up with her normal confidence as she would see off to the corner of her eye, someone else she had heard of before. Though her name escapes her at the moment, she would do her best to make sure that she was in fact...well there.
“Hiyo Tsuji, I'm here and what's with the outfit?,, she would ask straight off the bat as she would take a seat at the table.

After a bit of waiting, someone arrived – a very small someone. Momoko, who Tsuji recognised from their apprenticeship together with Yusaku, had a very nice old-fashioned outfit on, looking very decadent as she hopped onto the table, shaking it a bit as a menu fell over away from her. She'd definitely taken his advice, and dressed pretty cool for this. “Hey Momoko! Yeah, I thought I'd dress for the occasion, being in Britain and all. Cool, huh?” he said, showing off the patches he'd adorned his jacket with. Granted, he didn't know what a lot of them were saying on them, but again, they looked pretty snazzy. Breaking off some of a crumpet he had laid on a plate, he pushed it over to Momoko with a smile. “You want some? It's real good, trust me.” he said. “Or would you rather order yourself? I could call over the waitress if you'd like.” He wanted to make sure he wasn't being facetious, he didn't really know how Momoko ate due to her stature. But it wasn't for long that he'd see someone else closer to his size.
Feng, a friend, pulled up a chair and sat down at the table. “Yo, nice look Feng!” said Tsuji; the overalls were quite fashionable, and her sweater was also very snug looking, ideal for the tail end of winter. On the topic of his outfit, however, he was more than happy to oblige Feng of the details. “Well, since we're in England, I thought I could dress like how they did a while ago, I had loud UK music on the plane, and it got me inspired! A lot of people seem to think so too, I got lots of people checking my style out!” he said. People had been looking, just maybe not in the way that Tsuji thought they were looking. Handing a menu over to Feng, he pointed out the counter. “What do you think you'll get, Feng? I'll pay so don't worry about price.” As he said this, he also pointed out Momoko to her, leaving them to formalities and possible introductions.
Picking up a menu for himself, Tsuji thought about getting something else aside from tea and crumpets. “I think I'll get this thing here, the 'Rocky Road', it's a really tasty-looking sweet, different to the ones back home, they really like bakery here. Look, it's got marshmellow and raisins in it!” he said.

Too late she saw the message as she was cropped up in her hotel, not too far from the hostels and so on. What park would they mean? Wait, that wasn't so difficult. Rowan looked over at her family before deciding that she would go. She found a sunhat, not that it felt necessary, her sunglasses and took her little black dress before she left the hotel suite and went to walk all the way to the park. She wanted to meet up with some people instead of being awfully nervous for no reason, and all the reasons at once and just everything. She did not want to think about it and rather talk to Tsuji and his crumpets. It was funny to read and she hoped the Japanese students had fun here. Rowan was half British, from her mother's side and normally they spend all summer in London with her grandmother and at Christmas, her grandmother came to Japan. She could not stand the grumbling sound of her grandmother anymore with how she disliked York and found it unfavourable for everyone. It was stupid and she just wanted to get out. Which was why she went here. She wasn't sure what dressed cool would be like and what the others were wearing but it was hopefully something nicer than her, black, black and black. At least her boats were a dark brown-reddish colour. That might be the most interesting part.
It did not take too long for her to walk and she waved if someone would look at her. Oh, this was nice, she had not spoken to many of them really before even if two were in her class. Rowan definitely believed she had to work on her social skill because it was currently non-existent. "Hi guys, I read your message and I liked the idea." She said with a smile, their clothes were very fascinating and she wondered where they got them but that was not really a question, she looked from one at the other, well here she was. Working on her social skill, she should compliment herself for that and ignore the nervous sense in her stomach. This could not be worse then a battle she would have to face later during this thing. Or bump into someone she had forgotten, god, that was horrible and she was really afraid it would only happen more and more. No, wait, focus, Tsuji, Feng and wasn't it Momoko? She was almost a hundred per cent sure.

Tsuji Ordering the food and paying for it was a good start to it all. She can feel the eyes of a few passerbys looking at the odd group gathered here. A small gnome, a bear in punk rock attire and a red haired girl is bound to turn some heads. But she kept her calm as she looked through the menu as she tried to find something nice. She didn't want something she can normally get anywhere else but something not too weird. “I’ll leave it to you, as long as it pairs well with coffee and is sweet...I’m game...or may I try a black pudding or hm”, she’d say to Tsuji as she pondered on what to get. Might as well get adventurous overseas if this is first in a lifetime deal.
As she pondered for a bit, she heard a familiar voice chime in and It was Rowan. Seems like she also saw the message and was open to the idea. Though Feng doesn't know her too well but might as well bridge the gap between them. If she can make a bridge between her and Yumi, she can do the same with Rowan. Just gotta make the first step and welcome her in since she might feel as nervous as she was in her first year. Make the bridge, bridge the gap, gotta be more open that sort of deal as Feng tried to follow. Calming herself she greeted her normally as she explained what was going on.
“Yo Rowan! We were in the midst of ordering stuff, what do ya want?”, She’d greet and ask as she looked through the menu. She resolved to get a few of the sweet treats and chipped in her share since she felt weird letting Tsuji pay for all of it.

Tsuji's explanation for his outfit wasn't really an explanation, and Momoko was unsure as to what it had to do with Britain, but she didn't decide to question it further. It admittedly did look cool. She couldn't quite remember where she had seen stuff like that, and (un?)luckily for Tsuji, her own English wasn't the best either. "Yeah, it's cool! And it's fine!" She'd accept the broken off crumpet, about the size of her head, with both hands. "I don't really eat out by myself! Portions are a nightmare! So it's better this way!" She also obviously wasn't going to say no to free sweets, or pastries in this case. The crumpet had a mild taste, but it wasn't bad. "It's good, but I think it would be better with jam."The two were eventually, inevitably, joined by another UA student. Momoko offered them a wave amidst eating. "Hello, Yao-san!"Yao's inquiry gave way for a more elaborate explanation about Tsuji's current attire. "Oh, it's a music thing?"
And now that Momoko thought about it... "...Oh yeah! I think I've seen something like that on BERRiES!" Momoko wiped her mouth with a piece of napkin that she had torn for her own use. "Didn't know that it came from England though! Or music! That's interesting!" Eventually, once more, they were joined by a third student. The gathering had decidedly become "Hello... Sakamoto-san? Thank you for joining!"Both Sakamoto and Yao were dressed noticeably normally, although not badly. Maybe it was Tsuji and her who had overdone it a bit. Momoko didn't particularly care, as both of them would likely attract attention regardless of what they wore. She grabbed herself a part of another pastry as everyone got settled down.
