Green= thoughts Blue= Speaking out loud
'Yes, it's finally here!' Desmoshi yelled in his head he wrapping his workout towel around his neck. The Sports Festival was finally here! Desmoshi had been training for about a week, trying to make sure he got everything down packed. It was 6:30 in the morning and Desmoshi was heading off to the training grounds to get some practice in for the UA event. The Sports Festival only comes around once a year, and he was happy that he would get the chance to participate in the event. His sister, Mizuki, was also apart of the event although she stated that she would not take part in the finale. The finale would be a fight contest between the UA students so they could showcase their quirks in front of everyone. This was Desmoshi's favorite part. Whether win or lose, just like his father, he always enjoyed the fight and always a good strong opponent. It was just the excitement of the fight and just giving your all that he enjoyed.
Which is why Desmoshi came into the grounds to train. His quirk that he shared with his sister, Elemental Burst, had some kinks that needed to be work out. He would be facing tough competition, some from other countries. He saw the foreigners on campus and knew that they were going to bring their A-game. He needed to prepare his moves and his elements. Elemental Burst allow the user to channel their energy throughout their body to create the four elements (fire, wind, water, and earth) and use it to fuel their attacks. Right now Desmoshi could only focus this through his hands while his sister could channel it through her feet. While both could use all the elements, there were few that they each prefer. Mizuki used the water and wind portion more due to its flexibility while Desmoshi relied on the earth and fire portion for the raw it produced.
Thanks to his father's boxing training, he was able to combine his quirk with his boxing to create his own version, Elemental Boxing. When he used this, Desmoshi would shape his elements into boxing gloves and enter into a boxing stance. However, there was one issue. Desmoshi had a little trouble with two of his stances- Chicago Out-boxer and Los Angeles Switch-hitter. It wasn't that he couldn't use the regular boxing stance or the wind and water portion of his quirk. Desmoshi had realized that he lacked the flexibility, which his sister had plenty of. His stamina was on par and his speed was improving, but his flexibility always made him feel uncomfortable. He couldn't combine the strength, speed, and flexibility into one thing cause he felt like it was too slow and clunky.
Desmoshi laced up his green shoes and straightened his blue UA tank top. He slammed his fists together and resounding thunder could be heard through out the training grounds. Wind starter to form hurricanes around his hands and his eyes begin to glow green. Debris was blown away from him as he lift hands into a boxing pose. He focused and reformed the winds around his into hurricane-looking boxing gloves. 'So far so good,' Desmoshi thought as he enter into the out-boxer stance. 'Today, I am going to get this right.' He begin to move left and right at a rapid pace, but when he tried to flex at the right moment everything came apart. He swayed to fast and fell on the ground with a loud thud, cracking the ground with one of his fists in the process.
'The problem isn't power,' Desmoshi thought as he looked at the crack in the ground. 'The problem is getting the speed and flexibility to match. Mizuki can do this with no problems. But how is she doing it? And if I can't figure it out for a tourney, do I even deserve to be a hero?' Desmoshi knew he needed help and looked around at the other students practicing. Maybe he could look around and found someone who could help him. But who?

Speed? Flexibility? Look no further young man, for an excellent example has arrived! Perhaps he would even recognize her- They were both in the same class, after all. And with her specially permitted disregard for the school's dress code, she certainly stood out! While there were a few with such permissions, Shouko's outfit stood out even among them- Mostly since there wasn't an immediately obvious need for it. Beneath the folded tunic which formed both her shirt and skirt, there were no signs of the mutations which led to others needing special uniforms. Although on closer look, the ties which locked her hair into her signature messy twintail were made of stone, which would come across as a bit odd. Stone was not a material one might use, considering its elasticity was practically negative.
With an abnormal interest in all things quirk, Shouko had perked up the second she heard the rumble of thunder from the inside of the training room- Someone was there! And was working with their quirk! Heh, of course it was the right idea to come by the training grounds as things were building up to the festival! The most awaited event of the year- She still had shivers when she watched the video of last year's finals! Darren-senpai and Tetsuko-senpai... Here was to hoping that this year's matches were just as hyped up!
But that was still a few days away yet! And with many students training hard in preparation... How could Shouko not be checking out as many as she could? Of course, her main targets were the foreign students who she had never seen in action before... But of course she would be checking out her clasmates as well! Especially those she was less familiar with, such as...
"Haiyooo! Desmocchi!" The girl would call out towards the boy, even as he fell to the ground with a crash that made her wince. Bad timing, that was! "Atata, ouch! That's gotta sting!" However, she didn't seem all that concerned as she bounded over, offering her hand to help him up. If it were someone else, they might be considering whether it was their sudden shout which had stolen his balance- But Shouko wasn't the type to sweat such small details! Training for the tourney?" Eto, was he one of the ones who had signed up? She hadn't really paid much attention since the final brackets hadn't been released yet.
"It's a lot easier if you stay on your feet, you know! Here, watch me!" The energetic girl would offer, after the other was on his feet. "Balance is all in your center of gravity! So if you're having trouble staying upright... Try getting lower!" As she explained this, the girl would crouch, demonstrating what she was saying. As a battle analyst, she could never resist showing off what she knew!

The critter was lonely and wanted friends, so it decided to try and sneak back to meet Honey! But the place where she was.... it was crowded! So much people and activities! IT WAS PERFECT!! No one would spot it in this crowd. Scuttering around, it seemed the humans had a festivity, a festival? A festival to what? Hopefully food!
As it searched for Honey, it stopped as it spotted a human boy who... did... punch air? Wait what did he do? Was this called training? The animal didnt understand at all, but when he started the look around, the bug quickly went to hide somewhere so it wouldnt be spotted. Last thing it needed was the authorities alerted and thrown out. Plus it didnt want to distract the human boy from punching the air, since it seemed pretty important to him and it'd be a shame if he doesnt do well because a quirked animal distracted him.
So the animal decided to look around. It wanted to find Honey! But first of all, it needed to know if the boy stopped scanning the perimeter. It snuck a peek to see if the coast was clear. Thus if it was safe, it could scurry away and find its friend

Did he hit the ground too hard? For a second there, Desmoshi thought he saw a giant green bug going across the ground before scurrying out of sight. Maybe he was imagining things. He had been training beyond his normal regimen and probably wasn't getting enough rest. He heard his name being called right before he fell. He looked around to see who the voice came from. It was Shouko Iwasaka from his class, rushing over to help him up. She was in her usual brown battle attire, and she had her reddish-brown hair tied up into two twintails. She was always energetic like Desmoshi and heard she like to record fights. 'I wonder if she had ever watch my dad or mom fight,' Desmoshi thought to himself. His father, Jokai, was known wide for being one of the greatest boxers in Japan, holding an undefeated record. His mother, Suni, was a practitioner of Muay Thai and capoeira and competed in many martial arts tournaments.
Desmoshi hasn't had the chance to see Shouko during combat practice. This was partly due to his support gloves were having issues keeping his quirk in check. So him and Mizuki would usually practice on the training grounds away from other students so they wouldn't get hurt by their quirk. Hopefully, Mizuki would find someone to give them new support gear before the tourney. Speaking of which, Desmoshi wasn't sure if Shouko had signed up for it, since the bracket was still being made. Maybe when the event was done, he would finally get a chance to spar with her and learn something from her.
She offered a hand to help Desmoshi off the ground which he gladly took. He dusted off the dirt on his green sweat pants and blue tanktop. "Thanks, Shouko," said Desmoshi with a smile. Shouko then asked if he was getting ready for the tourney. "Yes, I was practicing for the tourney. My quirk allows me to use elements, and I usually incorporate this into my boxing moves. My fire and earth are fine. It's the wind and water portion I am having trouble with. For some reason, I just can't be flexible enough to combine it with my boxing."
Then Shouko suggested something that made total sense to him. He mentally kicked himself for not realizing it early. "Balance! Of course!" Desmoshi exclaimed, smacking his forehead for not noticing it early. He was so busy trying to be flexible like Mizuki that he forgot he needed to incorporate what boxers do best. Out-boxers are all about keeping their balance, staying on their feet, and moving with the center of gravity. Yes, out-boxers and switch-hitters usually avoid getting hit by being a little flexible. But he was trying to be too flexible. They were doing it with speed and balance as well.
Desmoshi followed Shouko instructions and got lower with his out-boxer stance. He activated his quirk forming the spinning wind around his hand. His eyes glowed green and they held a fierce determination. He begin swaying back and forth, only going upright if he was pretending to dodge or backing up as though to escape someone's reach. Once he performed the action, he would lower back down to keep his balance and continue to sway back and forth. He performed different jabs and punches, each one pushing out a small force of air. Finally, he finished with an uppercut that let off a loud boom and shot up another small force of air. Once he was done, he turned to Shouko. "Thanks. I might have not figured it out if you hadn't came along." He grabbed his white towel to wipe the sweat off his forehead and took a swig from his water bottle. "Hey Shouko. Are you entering the tourney, too? I heard there was going to be a lot of strong opponents there."

Wow! And she hadn't even had to ask this time! "All the elements? Wow! That's super cool! I've only got earth, myself!" Rock totally counted as earth, no matter how many popular IPs counted them separately! But that wasn't the only thing his explanation let slip- "Ohoho, boxing? That's nifty! Eto, I know Darren-senpai did some boxing! He even was going Pro... Hem. Did he leave to focus on that, I wonder?" She sighed. Darren-senpai leaving certainly made the whole school much less combative! How was she supposed to get footage of all the second years sparring without him challenging everyone on a daily basis? So very depressing!
It certainly said something about Shouko, that what she missed about Darren was his love of fighting. Or perhaps it said something about Darren? In any case, he was gone, and the school was all the more peaceful for it.
"Ehehe, show me, show me! Maybe I can see what's going on!" Suggested the girl, half out of helpfulness, and three quarters out of desire to see what this elemental boxing was like! "En, I can see how wind and water should be more flexible than earth or fire... But! If you can't do it, you can't do it! If you can't force your style to fit your quirk, you can always force your quirk to suit your style! Hard Water, doesn't that just have a ring to it?" Came the enthusiastic suggestion. If the style just wasn't his thing, he could find a different one!
Combined with her advice about balance, this seemed to have struck a chord with the transfer student. With an epiphany, he returned to his practice- And before Shouko's very eyes, performed quite the exciting move! "Nyahaha, there you go! Don't force yourself to be something you aren't, Desmocchi!" That was the basis of her martial philosophy! There was no best martial art, only the most suitable! Trying to force an unsuitable one would be half the results for twice the effort. Of course, some people had personal reasons, and she would be a hypocrite if she forced her ideals on them! But while their reason was unknown, she would naturally point out what she saw!
"Mhm mhmm! No problem! Always happy to help a fellow student!" The girl would reply naturally, as though she had no ulterior motives whatsoever. What? It just so happened that helping him involved getting to see his quirk, yanno! As long as he didn't mind showing off, she was naturally going to follow along! "Ehehe, I bet you'd have found out eventually, though~" After all, it wasn't a complicated solution! It was just the kind of thing where you get so set in doing things a certain way that it takes a fresh set of eyes to point out the obvious!
As for the tournament... Wow, was it really possible for her smile to grow even wider? It must be, because that's exactly what it did. "Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world! Everyone showing off the limits of what they can do... It'll be paradise! Nyahaha, did you see last year's festival? If this years is even half so exciting, it'll be worth having enrolled!" It was no secret that Shouko had joined UA for the sake of watching her classmates fight from front row seats... An attitude which naturally concerned more than a few teachers. Fortunately, she had shown that she knew when to reign it in... For the most part.
"We've got quite the spread! En, Veep's probably the top contender! He's got such a strong quirk, after all!" The girl referred to Jack Orion, vice president of their class. Having taken part in the last year's festival, the boy had only gotten stronger since then, and his ability to transform into a dragon was among the most impressive of her classmate's quirks! Or at least, it appeared to be. Having not seen him in action recently, who knew how his powers matched up? "Oh, but Karirin's super up there as well! Her quirk doesn't seem like much, but I don't think anyone in our year can keep up with her moves!" Shouko would continue introducing the festival's top competitors- As though she herself was not one of them. But then, she never had attempted to rank herself among them, always being interested in the abilities of others moreso than her own! "En, and Koutoto too! Though I know he'd been a bit lost on his path, so I don't know if that's affected his training? En, I look forward to finding out!"
As for the other presence in the room... While Shouko's eyes were unlikely to miss such slight movements, it should be the critter's luck that she was facing away, invested in laying out the top of the top for her unfortunate audience!

Maybe that has been Desmoshi problem all along. He came to UA to be his own individual. Instead, he was so focus on how Mizuki use her quirk for particular elements that he was trying to the same. Shouko was right. You can't force the style to fit the quirk, but you can force the quirk to fit the style. Desmoshi was a boxer, not a Muay Thai expert. He was more straightforward when it came to fighting while his sister was more analytical. Desmoshi focused on more stamina while Mizuki focused on flexibility. Mizuki had found her own way of using her quirk and had to do the same. If he did for the earth and fire portion of his quirk, why can't he do it for the other two?
He was pulled away from his thoughts when Shouko answered his question about the festival. She asked if he saw last year's festival. "No," he replied. "I was traveling out of the country with family during the time it occurred." She actually did sign up and was competing she started to list off the top contenders. One name in particular struck Desmoshi- Jack Orion. He had heard a little about his quirk, having the ability to turn into a dragon and all. Desmoshi wasn't sure if he would be able to beat him. But for some reason, it didn't get him down. He hoped that he would meet Jack in the ring. The thrill someone stronger than you and hoping to overcome the obstacle- that's what Desmoshi loved most about fighting.
She named others that Desmoshi was either familiar with or not. He knew that everyone was going to be tough and that made his excitement grow even more. Sure, he was nervous about performing well. Especially since his dad and mom would be coming to see him compete. His dad trained him since he was five years old. And now he would finally get to show his dad how much he had learned. He just hope that know one else knew about his dad's secret and that headmaster wouldn't have too many problems with him coming to the school. However, the headmaster might like the fact that undefeated heavyweight champion was coming to their school.
Shuoko asked if Desmoshi would show off his other moves as well. "Sure," Desmoshi said with a smile. "I wouldn't mind that at all." He wasn't too worried if Shuoko saw his moves or not. There were other ones that Desmoshi was keeping from the rest of his class. His sister had told him to just practice the basics. When they were alone, they would practice the more difficult ones so no one else would see. Not only, that his support gear would give him the ability to control how much power he could really let loose. And right now, he was only using a fraction of it because of the support gear he currently had. The restrictions was there to keep others safe until he got a better control of his powers. But in the ring, he won't need to hold back and can go all out safely. He will give it everything he had.
Desmoshi into his slugger stance and activated the earth portion, as rocks and sand covered his hands into stone-like boxing gloves. He cracked his neck to loosen up and his eyes began to glow yellow. He began "practice fighting", moving about performing heavy swings and jabs. Each time he would step, the earth shook with a rumble. He clapped his hands together breaking the stone gloves into rocks, the clap sounding off like thunder. He quickly switched over to his wind element, his eyes glowing green and mini hurricanes formed around his hands. He did same motion as earlier like Shouko had showed him, but with his out-boxer stance in the mix. This time he transferred a little wind element into his feet, to improve the speed of his footwork. He began swaying back and forth, keeping low and maintaining his balance.
He threw an air punch to the ground, spinning himself in the air. While in midair, he switched over to his water element, his eyes glowing with a bright blue as the vortex of water that surrounded his hands. When he came back to the ground, he replace the air element with water to give a slip-n-slide effect to his footwork. He entered into his switch-hitter stance, performing quick jabs, feeling out the water's force as droplets of water hit the ground with each motion. He took into account Shouko's suggestion about 'hard water', realizing the element can be used for force instead of flexibility. He felt the power of each of his jab, and then he would bring back it in as though to enter in a defensive position putting up the swirling vortex like a shield.
The water started to boil and then burst into flames. When Desmoshi moved away his arms, he switched into his swarmer stance. His eyes burn pure red-orange, as though they had actual fire in them. He performed each of his swings with speed and precision, the intense heat could be felt in throughout the area he was practicing in. In one final move, he punched into the ground, sending out a wave of fire and being careful not to hit Shouko by accident. When his quirk deactivated, it left a scorch mark on the ground where his fist made contact.
He looked up at Shouko, not sure if she was impressed or not. That didn't bother him to much. He felt something he hadn't felt since he got here. It wasn't school's fault nor his, he had been catching up to be fair. He felt excitement. Yes, the opponents were strong and challenge would be tough. But that's why he wanted to become a hero in the first place. Shouko, without even doing too much, had reminded him that he needed to be hero in his own way. She had help him mastered the water and wind element, the two difficult he had so much controlling all these years. His dad was right. He could a lot from UA. "Shouko," Desmoshi started with a heavy breath, his forehead filled with sweat. "I know the competition is going to be tough. And might not beat all of them. But-." Desmoshi lifted his head, his eyes filled with determination and smile of confidence spreading across his face. "Thanks to you, I found my rhythm. No matter win or lose, I will do my best and give it all I got! And even if I lose, I won't give them an easy win! I'll show everyone why I'll be the next top hero!"

The critter hid and observed the kids. They looked like they were around Honeys age. The animal wondered if they knew where she was. But from the looks of it they looked bus with a conversation and a training regiment. Oh if only it would be able to help them... oh and communicate. But the animal learned that its appearance would only be a distraction. It sighed sadly. It cant communicate to ask for Honey, and it cant offer itself to help train because well.... who would want that.
But then what to do? Hmm.... well... maybe an idea. What if it drew Honey!.... With its acid!!! But... approaching them is a problem. Which one seems more friendly. Come to think of it, both of the human kids seem intimidating, like they could beat up the critter no problem. Human boy seemed muscular and that human girl seemed... like wow. Something about her.
So... how to approach them? What if it impressed them. They seem to value fighting prowess. But... how can a bug fight and not creep them out? Hmm... maybe direct approach is the best approach. Right! And thats when the animal decided to slowly approach the kids. It wasnt brave enough to call out to them to notice it. But it did carefully spit its acid on the ground to make a very crude drawing. A human stick figure. With a noticable squirrel tail. And a question mark at the end. Hopefully this was enough for them to understand where Honey was. Now... if only they .... dont freak out

Shouko shook her head at the revelation. "You've gotta at least have seen the cliff notes! Reruns? At least a shaky uTube upload from the crowd? Anything!?" She would be simply stupefied if he hadn't... And, in fact, was already reaching for her phone. On which were saved a few of the more choice videos she had taken at the event. If he hadn't seen them before, she would simply have to fix that! Even a small screen was better than none! Lets see, which would make a better one to start with... The complex subtleties of Tetsuko's swordplay versus Arthur? The non-stop action of Darren vs. Yumi? Or perhaps the lopsided beatdown that was Risaka vs. Feng! If only she could show all of them at once!
In the end, she would show all three. The first was a match of swords, a samurai and a knight. The clean exchanges flashed across the screen, each displaying the truth of their respective styles... Arthur, bigger and heavier, bore down with his dual-wielded bone broadswords. But they were met blow for blow- Often both swords deflected in a single of Tetsuko's moves. "Nyahaha, that's Tetsuko-senpai for you! I don't think she'll lose to anyone!" Came the remark of a fangirl, and as such, take with a grain or two of salt.
The second match was a high-paced battle, a blonde boy jerking around the stadium in an unnatural manner- His direction changing in an instant by the effect of his Autokinesis quirk. The other similarly zipped around, flying while unleashing a barrage of lightning- Often met with chunks of the stadium, used as intercepting projectiles. It was much faster and flashier than the previous match- "Ehehe... Unfortunately, Darren-senpai is no longer with us... But Yumi's still super strong!"
As for the final video... It was best described as a massacre. On the one side, a redhead futilely evaded a crushing onslaught from her greyscale opponent. It was almost painful to watch her struggle against an opponent who simply outclassed her so heavily. And yet, the obvious loser's refusal to surrender was touching. Although not enough to turn the tables, the match would go far longer than anyone could have anticipated- And even in defeat, Feng held her ground. "En. Poor Feng-senpai. But she's improved a bunch so I'm looking forward to her matches this year!"
Poor Shouko. If only she knew.
However, the old must always make way for the new, and seeing the rest of Desmocchi's stances had her excited! The first, coated his hands in stone... A familiar sight, if she did say so herself! Ahaha, she couldn't help but wonder how his rocks compared to her own... Although, considering how little versatility her own quirk had, it was probably better not to compare! "Wao! Nice! Oh, is that?" She would comment as he flowed through the stances, hardly missing that he was taking her advice into account on the spot. "You're a fast learner, Desmocchi! Looking good!" She flashed a thumbs up. It wasn't easy to change a style on the fly, but at least he wasn't falling face first this time!
And once the demonstration was complete in earnest, she would clap enthusiastically for the display! "Amazing! Hey, I see you mostly use it on your hands... But there was definitely some disturbance around your feet in the wind stance! How does that work? Is it the kind where the power splits when you use it in more than one limb at once, so it's just more efficient to focus it in as small an area as possible?" She observed, and chattered, and probed. Quirks were so fascinating, after all!
But it wasn't just his quirk she was watching. The battle analyst's eyes wouldn't miss a single movement if she could help it! His boxing was trained, to be sure, but the awkwardness inevitable by the rough fusion with his quirk left the overall effect... Lacking. But in a way that she was certain would grow quickly, given the chance! And there was no better chance than this, the school sports festival! "Mmhmm! That's right, Desmocchi! And even if you lose... As long as you've grown from it more than they have, isn't it totally a win!?" If that made sense was unimportant. Shouko hardly would lose sleep if her inane ramblings were to give others a headache. In any case... She looked forward to seeing how his fight turned out! The grinning girl hardly noticed that the two of them had an unexpected interruption.
In fact, it wasn't until the acrid smell of acid reached her nose that she realized anything was up at all.
"Hey, do you- Ah! What are you doing!?" Once she noticed, the girl would immediately... Begin berating the bug. "I know the campus is open for visitors for the fest... But the training rooms are still off limits, you know!" The students did have some right to privacy! Not that Shouko was in any position to accuse others of that... "And even if you mistook this for a bathroom, vomiting on the floor just isn't polite!"
The creature was obviously a quirker, so she naturally ended up treating it as a human. Although... On account of size... Perhaps a child? As she theorized what kind of quirk could turn someone into a green and black acid spitting beetle thing, the brunette girl hardly paid attention to the vomit itself. Aside from the acrid scent which gave away it's acidity... She would worry about how potent it was after they had dealt with the more pressing matter of how this kid had gotten in here, and where his mother was!

Desmoshi gave a wide smile at the praise he received from Shouko. He knew he was still rough around the edges and needed a vast amount of improvement. However, the girl's compliment gave him more than enough encouragement. After she showed him the videos from the last year's event, Desmoshi knew that the competition was going to be rough. Especially after seeing that last video! Ouch. That poor redheaded girl. Shouko said her name was Feng, which he heard around the school a lot. He would hear the whispers from other students about her and often wonder what it was about. Now he knew.
Desmoshi had seen a lot of one-sided fights when his dad was boxing an opponent that was way under his class. But to see that?! Well, that hurt Desmoshi in the soul. She didn't even surrender. She wanted to keep fighting even if she was losing. This reminded Desmoshi of himself and he would had done the same if he was in that girl's shoes. The idea of giving up just didn't feel right to him, even if he was losing. And after the demonstration he gave Shouko, he knew that he can only learn from it.
After his demonstration, Shouko asked him why and how he concentrated his quirk a certain way. "I don't mind answering that one," Desmoshi said rubbing his wrists to get the aches out. "Elemental Burst is really tricky to master. It gives you whole lot of energy to create elements, but your body has to be able to handle it. If you notice when me and my sister fight, we usually focus that energy on certain body parts. For me, its much more easier for me to focus it through my hands. I can focus it through other parts of my body, but I have to be careful with how much energy I am using at a time. That's why I didn't use too much of it. I only use enough to boost my speed or keep my footing."
Desmoshi didn't mean to get in long explanation about it, but he was trying his best to explain to Shouko. "Its kinda like a giant blanket. You could put little rocks on it at a time, sometimes huge amounts on it. As long as you distribute evenly no problems. But if you put giant boulder on it, it crushes and rips the entire blanket. It gets harder to focus through my entire body, so I have to split the energy evenly and maintain that focus so I don't lose control. My dad could make his own clothes out of his quirk, which is where I am trying to get to." Desmoshi remembered when he saw his father's flaming robe for the first time. It was a sight to behold.
Desmoshi felt like he may had give too much information to Shouko. Not that he was scared she would use it against him, she would of figured out on her own anyway. It was just so much to take in and it might not have made since to her. Just as she was about to ask a question, Shouko yelled at something on the ground. It surprised Desmoshi at first cause he thought she was talking to him. Until he followed what she was looking and talking to. It was the same critter from before! Up close, it look like a green centipede. Desmoshi wasn't sure if it was a student or not although Shouko was talking to it like it was one.
He looked at the acid that the creature spitted on the ground and twisted his head to the side to get a better view. Was that a girl with a tail? Did this creature draw a student from here? Wait a minute... "Hold on, Shouko," Desmoshi said putting his hand out in front of her. "I think I know what it's looking for." Desmoshi grabbed his phone from his bag and scrolled through his contacts. He found Honey's name and pressed the call button. Hopefully, Honey was available.

The two kids finally noticed it, although the roug and tough female proved to e just that! Rough and tough! Although the way she spoke, it seemed to talk to it as if they were equals or something. The animal looked down at itself and then back at Shouko. The animal figured she didnt understand, so it tried to communicate with them "Ȟ̵̟o̶̝̚ñ̸̪é̶̼ỵ̸̛ ̴̦̚H̸̰͑o̴̘̽ṋ̵͝e̵̠̽ý̴̧ ̴͓̊w̵̲̏h̷̟͝e̸̛̗r̶̯̓e̶̳͐?̴̠̃" but of course, it was doubtful they would understand its animalistic noise that tried to mimic human words.
Although soon the boy understood, or it seemed that way as it took a cellular phone and tried to contact Honey! Although it seems that maybe he couldnt get her on phone. So the animal tried to ask for directions and then it would leave them alone. Ugh... what was the word for that "P̷̖̋ö̵̝́i̴̳͌ñ̷̟t̷̬̋ ̵̖̀w̴̫̿h̵̰͘e̴̡̛r̸̤̓e̶̥͝ ̵͎̿d̴͈̾î̵͓r̵̛͜e̶͉͛c̷̬̿t̶̹̂i̸̘͘o̴̾ͅṉ̸̒s̷̳̈́ ̷͙̋H̸͕̑o̸̜͠n̶͎͂ȅ̶ͅy̴̗͂ ̴̘̒H̶͙͗o̷̦͂n̷̜̄ë̵̪́ý̸͕!̸̬̋" the animal wanted the boy to at least point somewhere so it can go to its search. It missed Honey and just wanted to be with its friend. And its newest master Momomo mo mo, the green woman, went to trip far away, another festival. The animal figured it could stand guard or at least protect Honey Honey from harm. The cuddles were also nice. The animal didnt wanna intrude on the boy and girl who seemed to be getting along real nicely, so it just wanted to go and leave them alone as soon as possible!

Desmoshi waited as the phone rang a couple of times before he got the voicemail. Maybe Honey was busy or something. He wasn't too sure but maybe he could give the creature directions to the girls' dorms. As he thought about this, he heart the little centipede make a bunch of growls and gargles. It was waving its little arms, as though it was trying to get Shouko's and Demoshi's attention. "No need to fret little guy," Desmoshi said with a smile. "If you are looking for who I think you are looking for, she would probably be at the girls' dorms." He pointed towards the girls' dorms. "She should be that way."
The creature looked in the general direction of where Desmoshi was pointing at. At first, Desmoshi thought the creature... or student, Desmoshi was still unsure of that... might had not understood him. However, he was surprised when the critter seem to give a nod, as though saying "Thank you" to them and head off to that direction. "There. Maybe Honey might be looking for it. Either way, no need to worry about it. It didn't look like it wanted to hurt anyone. Now, Shouko, I would like to take a look at those videos if you don't mind." he requested excitedly as he turned to Shouko. Shouko showed him more of the tournament for last year, commenting on different styles and quirks that were being use. If the tournament was going to be anything like last year's, Desmoshi had his work cut out for him.
"I know you are in the tournament and all. But Mizuki had something else she had to do today. So, I don't have a sparring partner. If you like, can you stay and train with me some more?" The girl gave a wide grin and a loud "Yosh" as she got into a stance that Desmoshi wasn't familiar with. He got into his own boxing stance as he prepared for the spar. He knew the girl was going to give him a run for his money. But he didn't care. He found a friend that share his love for fights and having fun. He loved his sister, but he couldn't have found a better training partner. '
