APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Despite his gender Shaun presents entirely female. He may wear more tomboyous or ambiguous fashion / clothing, but makes no effort to hide his gender otherwise. His skin is a peachy tone naturally but tends to hold a firm tan, be it from going down the beach in the summer or travelling during the winter for work. His tan still isn't the most noticeable, providing more a 'healthy bronze' color to his normally peachy skin.
He holds his rough hair back in a rough ponytail and seems to find it uncomfortable to let it down unless he feels entirely relaxed, and even then very little in the presence of anyone else, even those he might trust. In his personal time his attire can be more lax and he favors exposing skin when he can in some way, but will typically avoid this on the job if working as a bodyguard where a client will regularly be seeing him, as he knows he has to manage a professional look.
POSITIVE
✔ Good humor, Rambunctious, Hard working, Dedicated, Witty
NEGATIVE
✖ Short fuse, Insensitive, Rude, lone wolf, Grudge-holding
LIKES
✔ Drinking, Smoking, Fighting, Heavy music, open air, Sailing, self improvement
DISLIKES
✖ Slow people, forgetful people, judgemental people, strict labels, harsh rules, controlling pricks
Personality:
Growing up with a firm father Shaun has a very freedom loving personality and a bit of grit beneath it. He very much didn't fully grow out of his 'rebelious phase' or perhaps he just genuinely liked the habits he picked up from it. When given his own space he can either just kick back with some music on his headphones or go out drinking, but generally he dosn't see a need for company or hanging out with friends. While he's by no means entirely selfish, he lives a very lone wolf lifestyle, not feeling uch of a need to stick with a connection if he starts to feel the bother is outweighing the benefits.
When he does feel someone's earned his loyalty, though that can take some time and some deep investment on both sides, Shaun can stick by them like a loyal hound. He isn't clingy, but seeing anyone mess with his friends can feel like a personal insult, leading to him harshly reacting to those who oppose his friends.
In his work life he can hold a no-nonsense attitude. His prices are his prices, and unless you have a good track record, he dosn't do IOUs, or payment after the job. In turn he makes sure his own record is never bismirched. People know what they're getting into upfront, the potential dangers of working with him, and while his past employers could describe him as rude and unreasonable, none will ever say he flakes on the job itself.

HISTORY
Growing up Shaun found themselves naturally a bit of an outcast from the group dynamics he was raised in. The child of australian immigrants to Japan, his father working in expanding his fishing company into more profitable markets. As such he wasn't Japanese and didn't have many people to stick to of his own household culture, taught to show respect for the culture but never holding an ingrained sense of understanding for it in turn. Small childhood acts of speaking up and questioning the norms leading to him being seen as a trouble child, rather than understanding the curiosity he showed.
Growing up, his sense of displacement only grew, especially as it expanded inside himself. Developing a quirk during his early teens, he started to see himself from an outside perspective thanks to his cloning quirk more than most would. Seeing his developing form with a second hand set of eyes, with a sense of perspective that can't be seen in a mirror, he began to... question his sense of identity. The clothes he wore while comfortable always seemed a little off on his clones, and when he heard himself speak, it never seemed to match either. While this was a development he may have experience either way, Shaun began to question his sense of self identity a little earlier thanks to this spark of perspective.
A quirk, foreign heritage, and a sense of identity that, as it developed, didn't seem to mesh well with either the cis-normative crowd, or even the more trans positive groups (at least, the particular groups he found online and tried to define himself to). A falling out with his father as he tried to express his self identity didn't help things either, and before he knew it, Shaun was finding himself stuck figuring himself out even more on his own as he was left making his own way. For a short while his mother supported him with funding his father didn't know about, and he kept a good connection with her and his little sister, but ultimately he was still left making his own way.
With frustrations building up and no better way to spend his time, Shaun found himself training his body in his spare time, taking out his frustration on punching bags or other people in the ring at his local gym. An accidental use of his quirk as his frustrations built further and further potenitally looked like it was going to land him in hot water, but, with the only witnesses being those that had come to respect him in one way or another, he was thankfully not ratted out...and was instead given an unexpected offer.
With one of the spectators for the fight looking for some protection they could rely on in this quirked world, Shaun was given an offer to do some not so legal work. While it was made clear they wouldn't be using their quirk unless necessary, Shaun didn't mind the idea so much... one employer lead to another, and nowadays Shaun is working as something akin to a mercenary, illegally using their quirk for a mix of deeds for cash. Not explicitly a criminal or a villain, but certainly not the most legal entity...
