"Boss best be payin' me to babysit like this..." The grey skinned man in a neat, yet in it's own way rugged looking set of leather attire sat on an old brick wall, looking over a set of unsure looking young men before him. Varying sizes and nature of quirks. A chunky looking fellow with a shirt that stretched so tight over his stomache yet still left a slither of flesh to be seen. A lanky looking man that seemed a little younger than the first, more bone than skin present in his visuals, even licking his lips as he stood in the cold, unable to stand still. Light flickers of flames emitted from the backs of his palms every few seconds, as though her didn't have the nerve control to even keep his quirk itself still. A 3rd individual lingered low but tried to hold himself as upright as the others. A more bestial structure to his skeleton, like a were wold with quills instead of fur... a were-cupine perhaps? Or would it be a were-porc? Semantics weren't really the issue here of course so we'll move onto the 4th. Taking on the visual of someone higher up than those before him, wealtheir clothes and a tighter stance, more respect in his eyes... and yet here he was amongst them. How odd. In each of their hands they held a small orange box. Very slim and short in nature, longer than it was wide, thinner than a glasses case but thicker than a smart phone. The grey skinned man lingering over them on the wall looked down upon them, knowing they all heard him mutter... but not one of them seemed brave enough to speak up either. No wonder the boss wanted them to undergo a public trial... the lot of 'em didn't belong with 'the rage'. "Right... you all know the drill!" He yelled as he kicked off the wall, the passerbys of the busy market street paying them no mind, families desperate for the post christmas deals and shopping for their post christmas meals. he opened his arms up wide and grinned with yellow teeth, each one healthy but a pale yellow in color. "Taste the rage. Learn the world is but a playground, and follow your base desires. If you can show the boss man you can flow with the rage as we do... maybe he'll consider letting you join. Maybe.~" The 4 looked between eachother a little uncertain, and the lanky fellow was the first to break. He popped the case open revealing a syringe of red fluid. Thick and viscous. it looked as though it would coil around your fingers it was so dense... Before he even managed to get it into his veins, the following 3 cases popped open. Syringes penetrated skin and there was a moment of silence... And then. Pain. Cries of agony that slowly turned to something akin to... elation. Wild maniacle laughs from the four, as up their left arms veins bulged and throbbed all the way to the left sides of their necks until starting to fade out once again, but remaining ever present down their arms. 'The Rage' Had took them. ========= 5 Minutes Later =========
Five minutes... not much time but more than enough for people who'd succumb to their wildest desires and most base forms of anger and rage upon society. A peacful, if busy market street had been upturned. Wooden stalls tossed about, fire leaping across the storefronts. Food gorged upon by the mouthful and devestating swathes of destruction as the 4 quirkers ran rampage through the city streets. No one of them seemed strong on their own, but together, raging incoherently, their devestation spread rapidly. At their center, the grey skinned man lifted a cigarette to his lips as he hummed to himself, lighting it behind his hand.
"Bout time we took down the christmas decks..."

What the fuck?Kenshin still had no idea just how his day had changed so drastically. It started off with him getting back home from work, relaxing as he and his family watched a movie together, then the boy deciding to go out for a walk. Bored, he then decided to head to the nearby market to buy a snack. And then the next thing he knew, shit had hit the fan. Hiding behind a nearby wall, Kenshin saw the commotion going on. It was crazy. Several scumbags were causing trouble, turning the usually peaceful market into a war zone. Okay, perhaps that was a mild exaggeration, but still. Kenshin grit his teeth in anger upon seeing what these lunatics were doing. Shit! I would have worn my new vigilante outfit and helmet if I knew this was gonna happen! It would be very risky for Kenshin to just jump in sword hand swinging. He did not want to risk anyone seeing his face. But still, there was no way he could just sit here and do nothing. People could get hurt if they weren't already! And there was no time to contact anyone for help. So the boy decided to go in alone, potential consequences be damned. At least nobody would see the boy transform. Henshin! With the boy's quirk activated and his red armor on, Kenshin dashed out of his hiding place and rushed to face the troublemakers head-on. Sure, he could have gone for a stealthier approach and try to ambush the thugs one by one, but such a strategy did not seem too feasible right now. Kenshin did not want to risk any civilian getting hurt while he waited to see if there was an opening to strike. So the way he saw it, better to strike now before any of them had the chance to hurt anyone. "Oi, shitbags! You have till the count of three to stop what you're doing before I kick your asses! ONE..." Kenshin extended his left arm outwards. "...TWO..." Transforming his hand into his signature blade of hard light, Kenshin glared at the thugs, waiting to see what they would do next before he charged in. Unfortunately, it was highly doubtful that these thugs would listen to reason and choose to back down. Seriously, did anyone ever do so? Oh well. Kenshin then dashed at high speed at the closest thug, ready to swing his blade, and if he was lucky, take the scumbag out in one swift attack. "THREE!" | Word count: 420

As the grey skinned handler of these rampaging goons watched them all lose t heir shit on the market place around them, in truth he was a little disappointed in the results. Not that they weren’t fulfilling the task set to them, though some could be argued to be more giving into rage than flowing with it… no. He was annoyed they were all getting off too easy. Where were the heroes? Where they not patrolling this space? Guess it was a busy street so they mightn’t have expected any one to be so bold… damn. He might end up stuck looking after these runts! Luckily for him though, a saving call arrived. The over zealous chant of a would be hero. Sure, if he knew his celebrities right this kid showing up in red armor with some sort of neon blade was far from a pro… but that also meant they’d get in far less trouble if he let his boys take out their wrath on him! His strikingly white fangs contrasting against his grey skin as he held a wide grin, all the while his goons shifting as they focused on the vigilante who’d called them out. In turn, one by one as the countdown sounded the goons looked to their ring leader, looking for guidance. Even in their rage they seemed to fear him, their blande eyes and veiny forms facing him as they seemed to twitch and struggle against the instinct to lash out, but seemed to hold a fear that controlled their rage at least for a moment. As the countdown hit two, the grey skinned man shrugged and lit a cigarette between his limps, gesturing flippantly at the vigilante with a smirk, signalling for them all to go ahead and take him. The closest was the rich looking boy with the lanky build, rushing forward to close the distance. He raised his hand, sparkles emitting from his palms, rapidly blinking and flashing, getting faster and faster as it seemed something was charging up… but Kenshin was faster. As he rushed in with a swipe of his blade right to the torso of the charging goon, he let out a harsh cough, a lazer firing from his palm over Kenshin’s shoulder. As devastating as it seemed to be, shattering a market stall in the distance in a single blow, the boy didn’t have much behind him. The rage faded from his eyes, and consciousness left them entirely, his body sent flying back in a single blow and crashing to the ground, the deep set veins across his arm and a side of his face slowly receeding as the injection’s effect faded from his unconscious body. The smirk the grey skinned man held faded slowly as he looked down to the goon… he didn’t want the guy succeeding… but one blow. With the rage…? His gaze lifted to meet the Vigilante’s… and he bit down into the end of his cigarette, growling through git teeth. “New Test. Get him.” The rest of the goons glanced from him then back to Kenshin. The porcupine-werewolf looking fellow rushed in next, dropping to all fours in a bestial rush. The fire quirker seemed to be backing him up, a blast of flame coming in to Kenshin from the right side, obscuring his view if he wanted to bare through it, while the werewolf continued to charge. Rather than striking with his claws, he braced an arm infront of him, the back of his forearm loaded with spikes as he leapt into a tackle. tldr All goons range from F-E rank capabilities Kenshin took out the rich boy with a lazer quirk in one blow (c rank offense vs G rank defense) Werewolf porcupine charges. Fire quirker covers him with a blast of fire from the back. Werewolf tackles with his arm infront, spikes bared. Kenshin Akadama

Alright, one goon down! Still, this was no reason to celebrate just yet. Despite the confidence in his own abilities, Kenshin was not one to underestimate his opponents, no matter how stupid and pathetic they seemed. There were always a few diamonds in the rough. There was no need to go overboard with his attacks, but there was also no need to hold back too much either. Two guys were coming at the boy. One appeared to be some mix between werewolf and porcupine. The other seemed to be able to use fire. Well this was certainly annoying. Kenshin decided to play it safe, not wanting to risk any unnecessary injuries from either the flames or the porcupine quills. Fortunately there was a way to attack both of them without needing to get up too close to either. With his speed, Kenshin dashed back a bit and to the left to avoid the flames and give himself a bit of space to work with. It would not buy him that much time, however, as werewolf porcupine guy was coming in close. Still, a second or two was all Kenshin needed. The boy's blade began glowing with a faint red light as he began to charge a bit of energy. He did not want to use up too much. First, he can only use this technique so many times at once, and he wanted to conserve energy and only use it when it would count. Second, there was no need to hit these two jokers with a full-powered attack. About half strength or so should be enough. Once the boy charged up enough energy in those few seconds, he swung his blade to unleash that energy in the form of a sword beam. "Scarlet Saber Slash!!"A red crescent-shaped beam of energy rushed out from where Kenshin had swung his blade. If all went well, porcupine werewolf would get knocked back by the beam, then the beam would continue in a straight path and barely be able to hit fire guy as well. But naturally, Kenshin was not just going to stand there. Assuming that the charging thug moved out of the way in time, Kenshin would immediately rush to him and kick the man's torso with his physical strength. Regardless of how that kick went, Kenshin would then back up a bit to observe what his opponents would do next. | Word count: 400

tl;dr: - Uses C rank speed to move away from the oncoming flames - Charges up a sword beam, but restrains its power, so it only hits at E rank damage instead of C - If sword beam doesn't hit porcupine werewolf thug, Kenshin then rushes in with a kick. Since this is Kenshin's physical strength and not his sword, it does E rank damage, not C. - Regardless of if the kick hits or misses, Kenshin backs up a bit to see what the thugs will do next

Watching this red ranger running circles around his mooks in training, the grey skinned, clear headed leader of the trough grit his darkened teeth in a harsh scowl as he had to just stand back and watch this mess unfold. From the words of his boss, he should give into the building frustration he was feeling. Unleash it. Let it all flow out onto the battlefield between his initiates and the beam saber wielding vigilante... but as much as he respected his boss he wanted to think he was a little more clear headed.
With the porcupine rushing forward with the cover of flames, his tackling strike seemed to be narrowly avoided by the swift feet of the power ranger esque vigilante, dropping into a roll, quills from his arm lodging into the tarmac of the road and a harsh growl emitting from his maw as he rose back to his feet in a crouched position, ready to rage forward and break the distance once again when a strike of the foes beam saber seemed to leap from the blade itself and start to cut through the air. A more hound like yelp pulsing from his lungs as he tried to raise his spiky arms in defense, only to be sent hurting back, as if carried by the weight of the beam strike itself.
In turn, the fire user that was trying his best to provide some sort of long range cover suddenly found a green powered spiky projectile hurtling towards him. In a moment of sheer instinct he dropped under the incoming were-cupine, and pressing a hand down into the ground, pushing off with force and blasting fire behind him to enhance his speed, coming in like a projectile himself as he tried to deliver a fire powered punch directly on the Vigilante.
Back in the center of the chaos, the last of the mooks barely flinched as the WereCupine collapsed into his gut, no pain radiating through his fat, and simply ripping the were-cupine from his flesh and placing him back on his feet. Something seemed to be building in him beyond the pulsing red veins down one side of his face, but instead, a gurgling, green glow, just beneath his skin situated in the fat of his neck, the lack of a neck seeming to instead allow for the storage for some quirky deposits of power, something readying itself for the next onslaught on the Vigilante.
Tldr
Porcupine knocked back Fire user ducked under it, launched himself, and came in for a rocket powered punch with flames enhancing it's force Porcupine injured but standing, lardass preparing something

Kenshin grinned as he saw his attack knock back the werecupine (or whatever the hell this guy's quirk made him). But then the grin faded as he saw the fire guy come in with a propelled punch. So that's how it's gonna be, huh? While the boy was more than eager to take the flame user head-on, he was not stupid. The last thing he wanted was to risk getting himself burned and putting himself at a disadvantage against the other thugs. No, it was best to play this safe. Using his enhanced speed, Kenshin moved to the right in an attempt to dodge the incoming attack. But the boy's goal was more than just running or dodging. No, he wanted to use the thug's momentum against him. Right after trying to move out of the way, Kenshin would immediately charge right back in. With any luck, the boy would strike the thug from behind and not even give the flame user the chance to turn around and react. But even if the thug was fast enough to turn around to try to intercept, Kenshin had a trick up his sleeve. He began to spin his body around, sticking his sword hand out as he did so. It was time to unleash his rotation strike. "Kaiten Ōda!" 回転殴打 With a spin attack, Kenshin hoped to do two things. One, strike down this thug and knock him out in one cool motion. And two, minimize the amount of contact with the flame user. The boy did not know if the man's entire body was scorching hot, and he hoped not to find out the hard way. But in case it did leave a burn, at least contact would not be prolonged as the spin attack would push Kenshin back after striking. And of course, he made sure not to spin for too long. The last thing he needed was to get dizzy. That would suck. Of course, Kenshin knew better than to just focus his attention on one single thug. It was common practice for one thug to serve as a distraction while the others waited for a chance to gang up on their target all at once. So for a split second, Kenshin turned to gaze the others to see what they were up to. What are you planning? The boy was definitely suspicious of what that third thug was up to. He needed to ready himself for a possible attack. The boy's next plan of action depended on who his target would be. If the spinning attack from earlier failed to take down the fire user, then Kenshin would aim for that thug, hoping to finally take him out of the fight. Otherwise, the other mook was due for a beating, and the boy was happy to go deliver. WC 469

(Sorry for the delay here, short post just to get back into the flow here for ya)
With Kenshin’s quick thinking and sharp combat experience, the dodge to the side and a spin attack was enough to take fire guy out of the game. He was already mid launch with minimal ways to protect himself, and the most he’d manage was a final wild burst of fire in the kid’s direction as he was knocked back, skimming across the ground briefly before crashing into some fruity market stand that had escaped their carnage earlier. The remainder of the group, lardass, wasn’t too perturbed, holding an angry glare as the veins down the side of his face pulsed more… firmly, a beat racing through them as his heart grew faster. He slowly reared forward, wild eyes locked on Kenshin.
With his hands firmly planted on the ground he opened up his mouth, metal teeth of some sort revealed to be lining his maw… but rather than parting as lips should they seemed to part like a perfect circle. The bulging green energy that formed in his throat pushed to the surface, crackling like electricity between his sharp metal teeth, and condensing in a sphere in the middle. With a sound that seemed like a person coughing ran through an auto-tune system, the condensed energy fired out from him, soaring towards Kenshin with immense speed. It was a fine, pinprick of a target, but it’s vibrant green color made it easy to track.
Should Kenshin dodge or take the attack, the ball would hold much more weight than it seemed, drilling against Kenshin’s defense or embedding itself in the surfaces behind him, holding for a second, maybe two, before rapidly expanding in a burst of green energy, rapidly seeming to decay everything caught in it’s sphere of influence. Should Kenshin guard against the attack it would wear against his armor, but with such a trained quirk it’d hardly be devastating, but certainly more than the goons before this.
With his attack, he seemed to be charging up another already, the energy forming in his… less fatty throat, each shot he prepared seeming to drastically reduce his weight as his clothes hung more loosely around him.
