As always, Farrah was pleased whenever her efforts to spread cheer were effective in doing just that. Mood-making was one of life's greatest joys for her, even if that mood always seemed to end up being silly. Continuing her dance, she mixed in some shoulder shimmies, placing her hands on her knees and rolling her torso in an odd motion that caused the tail of the unshaven side of her hair to whip about a bit. This would be a difficult dance for anyone to follow, since she seemed to be making it up as she went along.
The girl found herself ever so slightly jealous of the boys who were getting the privilege of taking Yumi's hand for a dance. Still, watching was its own treat; she decided Yasashi was the type of person she could like a lot, between his boisterous laugh and his cute boyish behavior, both at odds with his otherwise imposing features. With those two having a good time and Rowan and Sean so obviously smitten, she felt that everyone was in good hands. As such, she decided to cool it on dancing for a bit and enjoy some refreshments, while at the same time bundling up her coat around her shoulders to ward off some of the lingering cold from outside.
"Good friends! Good music! Budding romances?! These are factors that belong at all good school dances!" she spoke to herself, stopping by the table to set down a drink and pull her notepad out from her coat pocket. Upon those pages, she jotted down various rhymes she'd need to use later, when she didn't run the risk of messing up the atmosphere by interrupting cute couples. "Achoo!" she sneezed suddenly, bumping her butt into the table as it shot out behind her, but reaching out to stop the perilously tipping cup before it could fall off the table. "And pheeew..."

Ehm oh, oh god dancing. Yes, that's what she in the first part of the day thought about doing. Dancing with Sean, it was why she invited him in the first place right? Right?! She felt so conflicted and looked shortly at Yumi who seemed to be so casual about asking Yasashi, that was his name, right? Why could she not just simply be that casual too. "I mean yes, dancing. Fun." That's what she thought this afternoon, that's why she asked him, she wanted to focus only on now. Have fun now. She just wanted to be here and enjoy it. She laughed a little as he guided her on the dancing floor. "Right, right dancing, I can do that." And she followed his moves and made it hopefully as smooth as she could, he wasn't a terrible dancer and neither was she, so that worked. She smiled though, it was a lot of fun.
She blushed a lot when Farrah mentioned budding romances. She wasn't sure what to say about that and avoided looking at Sean because of those words. She was so confused and unsure about it, it wasn't fair. She really needed to talk about it with Miku or whomever. NO, wait, she was going to do this right and enjoy tonight and the music and the dance and... well enjoy spending time with Sean. That worked.

Ah, okay, that made a lot of sense. So the Disciplinary Committee was formed under Tetsuko, likely sometime while Sean was still under. He had never personally met Tetsuko personally from what he could remember, but from the little bit that he had heard of her, it seemed that the Committee was under very capable hands. Sean smiled and nodded approvingly. "Awesome! Glad to know the school's still in safe and dependable hands." Sean wondered what had happened to warrant the forming of the Committee, but it was hopefully nothing that was too worrying.
And now for the main event! Normally, Sean would be all chill and relaxed. But considering that he was dancing with Rowan, the last thing he wanted was to mess something up. Imagine accidentally stepping on her feet because he was not that great of a dancer. Ouch! Not a thought Sean wanted to worry about. So he would be careful to be as gentle and graceful with his dance as possible. It was strange for Sean to show this much care and precision. But to the boy, no amount of care or precision would be enough. He wanted to have fun, but he also wanted Rowan to have fun. And also not be in pain from having her foot stomped on. Because that would be a total bummer.
With the current song being a slower one, Sean decided to slow dance with Rowan, gently holding her and swaying with the music. All while pretending he knew what he was doing. "Er..." Normally, he could just not ask, but he needed to know if he was doing an okay job. "I'm gonna need dance lessons, aren't I?" Because if Rowan was getting bored, then of course he wanted to improve and get better. Still, he did not want to worry too much. This was supposed to be fun, after all! So why worry and stress out when he could relax and have fun?
As he continued to dance with Rowan, the boy's focus gradually moved more and more to Rowan. Not that he was ignoring the others. Far from that! It was just that with how much he was looking at her, it was hard to concentrate on anything or anyone else. And in all honesty, he was not sure if he even wanted to focus on anything else. "This is wonderful. You're wonderful." Sean smiled. Dancing, relaxing, smiling, now this was awesome! "Thank you again for inviting me, Rowan. It means the world to me."

The song changed and she blushed a little when Sean came closer to perform a slow dance, she blushed even more when he seemed to be lost for words himself. She smiled a little when he finally asked, "No, I don't think so." She looked at him, "Thank you for coming." She started to smile even bigger and brighter when he called her wonderful, she wanted to say not without him, which was a very strange thing to say but she felt so happy and relaxed when Sean was around her that she wasn't going to worry about it too much. She blushed only more when he said it meant the world to him and she wished she had an phonecall inside her brain to call Miku... What do I saaaaay! Well she had already thanked him for coming and such and she meant that and it meant the world to her too that he came on Christmas for her. Wait, was that a bit too much? To mee too." She managed to whisper when the song just finished and she felt fine, she felt wonderful herself and she felt that the nerves from the beginning of today or even the evening had completely disappeared.
What more was there to say, this had been a great evening.
