Today was the day! Not Christmas Day, no no. Not even Christmas Eve! The 23rd of December, the day the school-wide Secret Santa gifts would be delivered! Kata had been anticipating this day foreeever and now that it was finally here, she was ecstatic, full to the brim with holiday mirth and cheer. She and Yasashi-san had the idea to set up this Secret Santa not too long ago and now that it was finally here she couldn't wait to see how many presents were downstairs waiting for her to deliver! That's right, deliver! She wasn't happy to receive the presents herself, she was taking on the role of Santa-san alongside Yasashi to deliver presents to all the good boys and girls of the school! Was it a little cheesy? Sure. Was it a bit silly? Absolutely! But surely that was the fun of it, right? Going all around the school with a sack of presents, handing them to various people, getting to meet them and then dashing off to her next drop-off! But this wasn't just delivering Christmas cheer for her, no no, this was training as well! Being able to use her Quirk for long periods of time while moving fast enough to deliver all of the presents in a timely manner. Although at the same time, some of the students might have gone back home for the holidays... oops, guess she hadn't accounted for that. But still, the students who were here would certainly appreciate the gifts! Of course, she couldn't be Santa-san without a Santa suit, right? She had asked Yumi-senpai for some advice on what to pick since she always seemed one of the most fashionable, if not the most fashionable, student in the whole school! And what she'd picked certainly didn't give her much protection from the cold but that didn't matter to Kata, after all her Quirk would regulate her body temperature pretty nicely so long as she didn't fall into six feet of snow and get stuck there... a-again. So she took her time, pulling on the outfit and making sure it all fit nicely and she looked presentable. Not that she really know what that meant but at least she looked neat, y'know? And she loved wearing a Santa hat, so that was a plus! With that, she left her dorm room, sprinting down the stairs to the common room and suddenly stopping in her tracks, blinking a little. There was a MOUNTAIN of presents! Big, small, wide, tall! All shapes and sizes and... esoteric designs! Some of the wrapping paper was wonky, some of it was neat and perfect, some of it was goofy or in particularly weird colors! She almost shed a tear. This right here encompassed the generous, wonderful spirit of U.A. and she couldn't be happier! Every present represented a different, amazing personality! But with so many presents came the obvious question of how they were going to be transported. She'd originally planned to just stuff them in a big sack and do some quick runs but... well actually, that could still work, she'd just have to do a lot of runs! Quickly, she dashed forward, stuffing handfuls of presents (carefully, of course) into one of the red sacks, hefting it over her shoulder and waiting excitedly for Yasashi-san, excitement and cheer radiating from her face. She was almost glowing with happiness and she wondered for a moment if there was a present in there for her as well! She'd wait until the end to open it if there was, no way was she going to keep people waiting! KataSanta-san, reporting for duty! Now to wait for YasashiSanta-san! -------- > PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU POST!> Welcome to the Secret Santa thread everyone! > The way this is going to work is that each character gets a single post before they receive their gift! Your post must at least include where you are in the school and an OOC note on what you want the present to be and who it's from! Feel free to discuss with other members if you want your character to receive a gift from another character! You may say the present isn't from anyone in particular, in which case it will be from an unnamed U.A. student! Try to keep gifts reasonably sized and not too expensive! Please get someone's permission before receiving a gift from their character!> Once six people have posted in the thread, Kata and Yasashi will both post delivering the presents to each character, wherever you are in the school! You then get a single post of your character receiving the gift! This post may be posted whenever you want in the thread, there is no posting order, these posts are for your characters. > If you see that six people have posted in the thread before you do not post until Kata AND Yasashi have posted! If you post before this, you will be asked to remove it and re-post during the next round. This is on a first-come first-serve basis! > Most importantly, have fun with it! The gifts can be humorous, meaningful, downright awful, important to your character's development, anything you like! Be creative! I hope you all enjoy it and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! • Words: 885 • Tag: @everyone! <3 •

It had to be one of the best days of the year. The day before Christmas Eve. When he was still living at home today had been the day he and his sister would run amok through the family home, decorating and spreading cheer. His father had helped, for sure, and his mother was no stranger to warmth. It had been something he was so afraid he was going to lose. The very thought of not celebrating "the day before the day before" was something he just couldn't stomach. And then, he met Kata. The two of them had schemed to set up the school's new Secret Santa. It was time and boy oh boy was he ready!
Yasashi had taken to wearing the same Santa Suit he had worn when helping Kata clear the snow that fateful day. A big bushy white beard hung over his ears and a thick, warm hat with a dangling white floof sat snug on his big head. His ice-blue eyes glittered with mirth beneath the disguise while he finished stuffing the last pillow underneath the 'just a little too big' santa suit to give him that jolly-fat-man look. His face cracked into a huge smile. Yes! This was it! Perfect! He reached down and tied his boots, straightened his belt, flexed his mighty muscles and nodded at the massive hemp sack that hung next to his dorm closet. A skeletal hand grew from the wall, snatched it up, and tossed it to him. He caught it and drew in the deepest breath he could, filling his powerful lungs.
"HO HO HO!" He was glad that Kuro hadn't stayed the night in his room that night, the poor thing would have had a heart attack! He barked out a laugh and made for the door.
He burst out into the hall, a mountain of a person in a Santa Suit, and barreled his way down the hall toward the steps. He could faintly hear the rushing steps of his partner-in-crime as she rushed down as well. Grinning wildly he hopped over a few steps, careful not to land to hard and smash something. He hit the landing and turned, a skip in his step and a smile in his heart. This felt so good! He had been itching for a chance to do something to really stir up some good cheer for a while now. There'd been some tough times, and some scary things happening in the world. They were training to be heroes now! They needed to remember to smile! If they were smiling, the world would know everything was a okay!
He was positively beaming when he stepped out into the common room, spotting Kata in her own santa outfit. He scratched his nose a bit; she looked great. Then he caught sight of the mountain behind her. Those were gifts! All of them were gifts! Big, small, funny looking, shaped like boxes, colored paper, news paper, it didn't matter! He dropped his bag and looked left and right, trying to decide where to start! Goodness gracious there were so many! He barked out a laugh when Kata dashed toward the presents and joined her, sorting through to find those with similar name tags.
When he'd made his picks he turned to her, and took in a deep, deep, DEEP breath.
Those powerful lungs of his were put to work once again, loud enough to shake the windows. "BAHAHAHA HO HO HO HO HO!"
And with that, they were off! | TAG WORDS NOTES

Could Sofiya have gone home for the holidays? Possibly. But flying back to Yakutsk in the middle of winter would have been an ordeal that she just didn't plan on going through. Not least of which when winter weather was already coming back to Japan later in the day, promising snowfall that would last through Christmas. Still, she liked that the option had been available to her. But no, she had plenty to stay in Japan for, and she was looking forward to a cozy Christmas with Xifeng. Right now, though, she was still hanging around Yuuei. She'd settled outside of the classroom building, where she sat on a bench and took deep, slow breaths to watch each cloud of mist freeze into ice crystals as it left her mouth. She wore her usual red parka over her uniform and white ushanka on her head, making her easily identifiable to people who already knew her and to someone who merely knew of her. Every now and then she'd check her phone, although she wasn't expecting any calls or messages - it was mostly to make sure that it was still working. Far from worried she'd accidentally break it (although that had happened before, and it definitely was not her own fault), she had learned from the past blizzard that phones were not immune to signal loss in Japan. Her eyes frequently turned up to the sky, where she hoped the forecasted snow would start soon. Not that there wasn't still plenty on the ground from a couple weeks ago - in fact, she'd used some of it while sitting around outside to make a miniature snow soldier. By which she meant...a fairly ordinary foot-tall snowman holding a vaguely rifle-shaped stick. Of presents and people delivering them, Sofiya knew nothing - she already had plans to deliver her own in person, after all.
Sofiya is sitting outside the classroom building. No preference who gives her a present, but she should receive a handcrafted doll similar to that featured in a lot of her FC's art. EDIT: after some talk with witch, Xifeng is giving Sofiya her present.

He sniffed the air lightly in the cafeteria of UA, Rooting around wearing his yellow pin stripped suit he often did when classes needed to be tended to. He was still adjusting to his station here and working over things with Suwa from time to time as now and again small things would need settled. T's crossed and I's dotted one might say. Although he couldn't have been more happy then to see how well the cafeteria for this place was stalked and taken care of for the holiday spirits. All week he'd been eating cake's, fresh veggies, and meats cooked in so many ways it made his fuzzy gullet sing with happiness.
Today however Perry still sat in the cafeteria but instead of the delicious cafeteria served food he'd taken a dish for himself ordered from outside of UA. But he would still eat it here. As it likely wouldn't have easily fit into his home without making quite the mess that he'd rather avoid causing and creating.
Waiting alone in the Cafeteria Perry had slowly been demolishing a rather large bucket of fried chicken. He'd heard this was somewhat of a staple for many families to dine on during this holiday. Of course now that he had actual citizenship and some status under his belt such delights weren't out of his reach nearly as much as they once were.
the scent of fried chicken would fill the air as Perry crunched and munched consuming even small bones. His suit jacket abandoned on his small chair and his sleeves of his little suit shirt rolled up as not to stain it. But whoever would approach with holiday cheer and boon. Would smell chicken in the air and sea a small kind enjoying his moust bountiful feast this day. Christmas spirit may be of question! But chicken spirit is forever true.
---- Perry is in the Cafeteria destroying a bucket of chicken.
He'd likely eagerly accept any type of food as a gift, Doesn't matter from who.

It almost felt like a stroke of luck that Kanna might be found here at this time of the year. Hardly the type who'd stroll around brimming with holiday cheer, nonetheless the blonde had decided to do something else this year instead of simply doing her usual thing on Christmas Eve... And for that... She needed some stuff from her Locker. Still clad in her cozy winter coat over a snug, warm sweater, the blonde clearly showed no intention of sticking around indoors for too long. All she really needed were a few things for a journey she'd obviously hadn't really planned more than a couple of days in advance:
"This, this.... Maybe this will come in handy too.", holding her open bag in front of the locker, she sifted and shoved some of the necessary items in, she didn't actually need too many of those anyway. She wouldn't be gone for more than a few days, just enough to spend Christmas in England, at Chloe's. She'd never actually done anything of the sort, and now was stuck doing last minute preparations, "Shit, why couldn't have asked me a few days sooner..." And yet she couldn't quite hide that brimming hint of delightful curiosity... She'd actually never travelled so far in her life, and though she had a pretty good idea of what she'd find... Nothing quite compared to the seeing it a whole new country your own two eyes.
If Kata or Yasashi hoped to meet her, they'd certainly need nothing short of a Christmas miracle, considering just how short a window they'd have to work with. After all, Kanna hardly planned to spend more than 30 minutes to an hour in school, just enough to get all the shit she needed and get back home... She had a plane to catch.
Kanna is by the school lockers, preoccupied with packing her bag. She likes practical things, especially if they involve technology, though she'd be happy with something sentimental if it came from a close friend.

Christmas was one of the busiest times of the year for a lot of reasons. For Karen however, it was the good kind of busy. She was already looking forward to the smiles all throughout and by the end of the holidays. But for that to happen she needed to keep working hard just a bit more. The forms and paper work weren't going to take care of themselves. There was still much to do. She wasn't exactly pressed for time, but being the diligent one, she wanted to get things done early. She found a good stopping point to take a break, at which point she realized she hadn't stepped out of her dorm room all day. Well it had been pretty uneventful so far and time just seemed to pass by quickly while she was engrossed in work. It felt good to be productive especially as she thought about what all that effort was for. She opened the thermos next to her laptop and poured some hot chocolate into a cup. It was just perfect for a cold day. She could feel the sweetness and warmth spreading as she took her first sip. She whimsically wished that she had some marshmallows. She honestly forgot. __________ Karen is in her dorm room not expecting anything. She would like to receive a senpai in a box. Miku is the brave volunteer. (see OOC student chat)

Christmas!
A wonderful time of the year! And what a wonderful year she had managed to have after meeting Sofiya Ilyinichna Volkova. The Russian girl had proved to be a truly amazing friend. And, after a point, a truly amazing girlfriend as well. Never before had her heart felt just as warm as the fire produced by her Quirk did. And more than anything, she was looking forward to Christmas day with Sofiya herself. Her parents had given her permission to stay for the holiday after she had finally told them everything about the two girls' particular relationship, having been far more understanding than she could have hoped. Or rather, dreaded she supposed. In retrospect, her parents had always been a bit more open on certain matters than some of their peers and really, she had nothing to worry about at all. If anything, they were just worried that the two might be rushing a little.
Well, that just meant she'd have to take Sofiya home with her next year! For now, she was currently jogging upon the treadmill in the school gym, humming an upbeat workout song to herself, a grin on her face as a bit of sweat dotted her forehead. After a bit longer, she reached down at the controls of the treadmill, slowly decreasing the speed. Adjusting her pace in turn, she carefully lowered her own speed and the treadmill eventually slowed to a crawl, finally coming to a halt as her own speed did too. With a satisfied sigh, she stepped off of the treadmill and reached over to a nearby water bottle that she had brought with her. Taking a big gulp of water, she cheerily sighed once again. With a nice workout complete for the day, she figured she had better change clothes and go catch up with Sofiya.
--- OOC: Xifeng isn't necessarily suspecting a gift, but as far as things she likes would go, she's a pretty practical person and would love just about anything. A more ideal sort of gift would probably something like a new pair of running shoes. Edit: Sofiya will give Xifeng her present.

Christmas for Feng was a bit of an odd occasion due to her circumstances. It has been awhile since she has been back home...due to some unforeseen circumstances involving her family's history, but it's better to not think about it during these festive times. She would go to her Aunt's place to celebrate but they get a bit crazy during this time of year. Many an incident occurs at their place during this time of year...blades and bullets seeing regular use around this time. But they're never caught or ever searched for some reason. Nevertheless, Feng refuses to be there on that principle alone. So that is why she opted to stay at the dorms and sort things out with her roommate Ichika. Better spending it with a roommate than with the crazy relatives.
But why today feel different? Maybe it was the first time she could actually relax after weeks of stress. The first time she could breathe and spend some time relaxing. But most of it is thanks to the friends she made that makes the stay mean so much more. Enjoying the snow, looking at all the lights and decor around the city, and just taking in the fact that after everything that has happened to her...she is still here. Dozens texts from her friends from back home and her siblings were received but...that wasn't thing she was looking forward to. Her family would usually give her money or clothes on christmas and nothing too great or amazing. This was her first year she decided to spend it alone and it was rather quiet and peaceful to say the least. But maybe a part of her was wondering if she was going to get a gift this year.
“Why am I even sitting outside in the cold...I should be inside and sleeping…” she would mutter on a bench. Her personal feelings on this were quite mixed as she was hoping for something to happen. She has zero clue on what she is so worried about and no clue as to why she is waiting outside. Various thoughts about her roommate would cross her mind but she would set them aside as she was a new transfer. Only just met her and yet here she is sitting in the cold trying to avoid thinking about it or even dwelling on it. Taking deep breaths and taking in the scenery did wonders for her anxieties . But her mind remained in disarray as she would think about something as simple as a gift from a friend.
But here sits Feng...waiting and fidgeting in the snow as she waits for something impossible to happen. Maybe a part of her wants a gift from her but why would she? Bah, it's better to just relax in the snow until it's time to sleep, maybe tomorrow she will go out for a walk and buy something for herself or something.
"Why are you like this Feng...get a grip and stop dwelling on it...", She would tell herself with a rather saddened expression as she would stare at the falling snow.
--- -Feng is sitting outside the dorms and relaxing. -She is anxious about gifts and thus doesn't really mind what she gets. -Though something wearable would be nice. -After some DM’s, it was decided that Ichika will be the one to gift Feng something.

SOFIYA It came from the snowdrifts...
The snow had begun to pick up part way through the morning. The already heavy snowdrifts blanketing the schools grounds were broken only by the paths cleared by intrepid students and staff. The snow grew thicker only to blot out the view in some places where school buildings were close together. One place in particular was a certain spot outside a classroom building. It was there a young woman would see a mountainous dark shape lumbering its way step after step through the snow, a mass slung over its shoulder, blue eyes blazing with ghostfire in the wintery weather.
One step at a time it drew closer. Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!
And then... from out of the snow burst...
"HO HO HO HO HO!" Yasashi bellowed out a raucous laugh in greeting.
"Gifts for Miss Sofiya! A few anonymous gifts addressed from admirers!" He laughed, placing a small pile next to the young white haired lady. "And one special gift from Xifeng!" He drew a larger gift from the bag and placed it in her hands. Inside, a small doll of russian design adorned with golden blonde hair not unlike his own, waited to be held by its new owner. "A Merry Christmas to you," He said, his eyes crinkling a bit in that kindness-beyond-his-years kind of way. And off he went to the next delivery.
PERRY
The cafeteria was quiet, the only sound was the loud crunching and munching of flesh and bones as Perry P. Possum consumed his own chosen feast. But hark! His meal was not yet done, not for a long shot. For the students of Yuuei thought highly of their beloved teacher and had not forgotten him on this happiest of days. So it was that Yasashi, barreling his way through the doors to the cafeteria froze in mid stride when he caught sight of the teacher in question. His eyes flashed brightly like a machine that had found it's target and he charged, dashing by with a 'HO HO HO HO HO!'
All Perry would see is a tuft of snow, a flash of red, and the sudden apperation of a dozen boxes on his little table. All of them held various treats and snacks, pies, chicken, breads, and even a small cake. Yet none of them compared to the small envelope that sat atop them all; a red letter addressed to Perry from the students of his class.
Inside? A year voucher for a popular American originating fried chicken chain. A gift arranged for by his beloved students and a few others.
XIFENG
Changing clothes would have to wait, if but for a moment! For as she was lowering the speed of her treadmill dear Xifeng was unaware that a great beast was approaching through the halls. Lumbering and clad in snow and felt, the massive thing barreled its way down the hall; heavy boots squeaking with the lingering fluid clinging to their soles. It stopped only on occasion, turning to speak to one student or another. Strangely, the students seemed overjoyed to see the great snowy behemoth and pointed it in the direction of the gym.
It was there that as Xifeng stepped off the treadmill, the doors swung open and it revealed itself...
"HO HO HO HO HO!" Yasashi bellowed, stomping into the room with a big jolly grin on his face. His icy blue eyes glowed bright with mirth when he stomped over to the young lady and reached into the bag.
"Fooooor the lovely Xifeng! We have a smattering of gifts from admirers. All anonymous I'm afraid! BAHAHAHA!" he chortled and then stopped, tilting his head and grabbing one last box.
"Wait a moment! One more! This one from Miss Sofiya!" He barked out a chuckle and put it in her hands. Inside? A pair of warm shoes of Chinese design, comfortable and well fitted with a strong set of soles good for jogging. Yasashi patted the box once; "Be good to eachother, mmm?" He said with a twinkle in his eye and laughed again, turning without warning and dashing out the door; off to refill his sack for the next delivery.
------- OOC: Since I took the others if an extra gift from Yasashi to his friend Karen could be delivered; just a box of tarts that he made. | TAG WORDS NOTES

FENG A new arrival on the pile! Kata had already been stuffing a few more parcels into the bag when a very tall, very scary-looking woman seemed to sneak down the stairs, placing her present timidly on the pile, before retreating back upstairs without a word. Kata, frankly, was stunned that she didn't even acknowledge her, but she knew that girl was the newly transferred Ichika-san, from Germany! Maybe they celebrated it in a really interesting, weird way in Germany and she'd been rushed! Ooooh, or maybe she was really nervous about giving the gift! She had looked a little red in the cheeks! Then again, every did these days, with the cold. She could clearly see the label, for Feng-senpai, who she knew was just sitting outside considering she'd just done a bunch of runs. Might as well get that one done now then right? Putting on her usual grin, she picked up the package with glee, humming Christmas songs as she dashed outside, bursting open the front door with a loud call of "FENG-SENPAAAAI!" Chuckling to herself, she tossed the soft parcel to the red-haired girl, before whispering quietly, trying to make sure her roommate upstairs didn't hear. "Pssst, it's from Ichika-san! She seemed a bit nervous and didn't look like she wanted you to know though, so you didn't hear it from me!"Confident in her spreading of holiday cheer, Kata spun round and dashed back into the dorm common room, loading more presents into the sack. If Feng were to open it she'd find a beautifully-woven silk scarf, with gold thread trim, clearly very expensive; overly so, some might say. KANNA Quick, quick, quick! Kata knew Kanna-senpai was getting ready to leave on her flight soon, so she had to get her present to her stat! Pronto! Like, right now! She pushed her Quirk to it's limits, pushing through the snow like that training montage in Rookie IV, the one with Ivon Dragon, y'know? Where Rookie Balbo climbed the mountain? No? Ah, whatever! She pushed herself through the snow regardless, huffing from the effort as she reached the main school building, only to throw open the doors and begin sprinting full speed through the corridors. She only hoped none of the Disciplinary Committee was around at the moment, so she didn't get in trouble. ...Again. It was only when she reached her senpai's locker that she tried to stop herself, only to find the ice and snow from outside had melted into water, which sent her skidding far past Kanna. "Kanna-senpaaaaai!" Kanna would hear her kouhai's shout grow loud and then suddenly faint as she slid past, only for a loud crash to emanate from the direction of travel. Kata had, in her haste, collided with the far wall of lockers, nearly crushing Kanna's present between her body and the metal storage boxes. A little sheepishly, she jogged back to her senpai, holding out the small, very neatly wrapped box apologetically. "Hehe, present for ya... I don't think I damaged it! I think it's from Chloe-senpai! Merry Christmas!"And with that, she sped off back towards the front doors, the distant yelling of one of the Disciplinary Committee members spurring her on. KAREN Finding herself back in the common room for another room, Kata looked at this large box with curiosity. It had breathing holes! And it was waaaay too big to be anything Secret Santa-ish, right? Maybe it had come from one of the transfer students who didn't understand the concept of Secret Santa or something, or one of the rich kids who'd bought something waaaay too big! But then... why did it have breathing holes? Kata gave a small shrug. It said Hoshizora-san on the label, so that's where it'd go! Now... hwo to get it up there...? The small girl shoved the surprisingly heavy box, panting from the effort as she reached the stairs, resting her forehead as she realized the task that faced her. How was she going to get it up so many stairs? It was so heavy! No, Hoshizora-san was counting on her! Santa-san would never complain about the size of a gift, he'd just deliver it. Slapping her cheeks and lifting with her knees, Kata pushed the large box up the stairs with great effort, sweating and panting from the effort by the time she reached the top and leaning against the box. ...Did it just move? Weird. She pushed it further, reaching Karen's door, before slapping it tiredly and impatiently, her breath a little weaker than it had been before as she tried to recover from that ordeal. "Delivery for Hoshizora-san! Merry Christmas!" Then she remembered! There was a second gift for Hoshizora-san! She rummaged in her sack for a moment, placing the tray of tarts carefully on top of the box with a little note saying 'From Yasashi! Merry Christmas! HO HO HO HO!', before bounding off to deliver more gifts! ------------ > Not sure what you wanted the gift to be for Kanna from Chloe, so I just made it a generic box, you can choose what you want it to be in your reception post! > Karen is free to start a thread with Miku using this post as a jumping-off point! > Everyone is free to start posting their reception posts! You don't have to though if you don't want to, especially if you're making a separate thread for it like Karen and Miku! > OK, TIME FOR ROUND TWO! GOGOGO! OutfitDown in the basement levels of the school, Yumi had managed to get some free space, and time during the holidays, to work on a little something different. With the Christmas dance coming up, but with no one to go with, Yumi decided to pick up an old exercise hobby of hers to try and make sure it was a lively event. Of course, it’d likely be pretty lively on it’s own, but she wanted to ensure everyone had a little something extra to remember… plus it kinda just… Felt good. Her old hobby might not be the ‘best’ given her apparent image around some people in the school but… she didn’t care. She was feeling more confident in who she was by the day, especially once she grounded her idealism a little more in reality, so it was kind of a small way to just. Flaunt herself. Proudly. Not egotistically just… throw herself out there with pride…~ “Oh iiii won’t ask for much this Christmas!~ I won’t even ask for snow!~”She sweeped her leg around behind her, pulling her arms in around herself as if she was rubbing out the cold down her arms, wearing one of her Christmas cosplay outfits she’d put together to get a feel for what it might feel like when she wore something similar to the dance itself, her general motions filled with a quick energy as she sung quietly along to the song playing on the Bluetooth speaker she’d brought down to the basement… but even if she felt somewhat proud of the dance she was working on, she couldn’t quite get into the swing of it, stepping over and turning off the music for a second before pacing back and forth. “Noooo that’s not quite right…and…” She bit her lip as she talked to herself to get her thoughts out in the air, whining softly with her hands on her hips. “’All I want for Christmas is you’… I wanna… I want it to be ME but. That. That’s a bit… on the nose. No that’s not the right term but… ugh. I don’t wanna just add fuel to the fire…” She sighed deeply through her nose, running her hand through her thick red lockes and hanging her head for a moment. She probably could pick a better song but… for now. While she was just getting the rust off her joints, it definitely worked… “Okay… let’s try it again.” Stepping back over to the music-tube, she’d kick the song up from the start and take a deep breath as she just gently swayed to the slow start. She would likely mingle with the crowd at this point till it really kicked into the boppy beat she knew how to work with. As it played out, her mind began to drift idly… wasn’t today the day those secret santa gifts were going to be handed out? She wasn’t even sure who was meant to be doing the delivering in the end, but Kata had been asking her opinion on some christmasy outfits the other day… Tldr================================= Yumi is in the basement levels of the main campus building dancing to the song linked above. She's expecting a specific present from Red, Bracelets designed to let her use her quirk briefly without her full suit (she dosn't know he got her them or that he's her secret santa, its just pre-planned OOC)

Christmas. A time for families to come together, give eachother gifts that can range from practical like a torch thats also a lighter, to dumb shit like novelty socks or a weird gizmo thats funny, to heartfelt gifts like paying for your significant others student loan or a pendant with a memento in it or something. Atleast it was for most people. For Red Christmas was....a slightly different occassion. See, he wasnt the kind to really care about getting presents or anything like that. Sure, they were nice, but he never usually got them from anyone other than his family so he didnt exactly expect anything.
All he really cared about was the fact it was one of the few days his parents came home, so he finally got to see his parents be.....actual parents. They usually forgot the presents cause they were too distracted working on cool, dumb gadgets, but they could just buy stuff the next day. All Red cares about was gettin to piss about with his dad for a couple days makin dumb shit and not having to worry about anything else......too bad that wasnt gonna be the case this year.
Due to his parents being......out of the country, and nothing else, nothing at all, it looked like Red was gonna be spending this christmas at UA. He didnt really have anywhere else to go, and his sister was hanging out with her friends so he didnt wanna bother her.....or tell her anything related to their parents since she might get a bit down if she found out they were de---out of town.
So, Red just.....decided to pass the time by taking on as many jobs as he could in the down time. After all, if you're doing something, you dont have to think about anything important! Still...that'd require calls coming in and well....there was none. No one needed their drive ways shoveling, no one needed anything delivered, no one needed anything repairing or replacing so he was just.....stuck...waiting....with his thoughts.
He'd been in his room working on his gear but for some reason, the more he worked the more he just felt sick. It was really weird. Therefore, he decided that the best possible course of action was to just......sit on the roof. Sure, it was still snowing a bit, and still freezing, but she had a hood and that scarf that warmed up his aura for him so he just sat up there, thinking about things. Like how this was gonna be the first christmas he'd actually spent on his own. He didnt know how to feel about that, really. Maybe he could go to that dance or something but.....eh, he couldnt dance. Atleast the fresh air was helping a little bit.....still felt like real shit for some reason though
It wasnt like he had anywhere else to bloody go, or anyone willing to put up with him for more than was nessecary so he'd.....probably just go walk around town or something, take in the sights, get some nice food, something like that. It'd be nice if he could go with someone but....eh, who cares. For now, he'd just be on the roof, looking off in the distance as he thought about things he really, really did not want to think about right now, but the festive season was kinda bringing them outta him. He'd bury it all as hard as he could, but there was only so much his brain could do.
"......Maybe if im lucky i'll get one present from someone but....eh, its not like i care that much anyway....or anyone would actually get me anything.....Doubt theres anything in that pile for me...." He'd mutter to himself, staring at the sky absent mindedly while holding on to the locket around his neck. Memories you dont wanna remember are a bitch, right?
TLDR
- Reds on the roof thinking about stuff
- Isnt really suspecting he's gonna get anything
- Little did he know he was gonna get a keychain from Yumi.
- Doesnt know she did it but it'll be pretty easy to piece together.

Post by Kirk Bluster on Dec 25, 2019 11:46:22 GMT -4
While everything around Kirk was seemingly about as cheery and energetic as he was, for once, he wasn't. He had been lately taking care of the house that had been left sort of empty with his grandpas health having become a bigger worry. All these things he needed to do, and no christmas celebration with good food planned at home... no real gifts of any sort, except if his parents sent something from overseas on time this time. In the end, all these things were pulling him towards the school. Yet hanging around there too much just had him pretty much as awkward as anybody else...
First though, he had a pretty important letter to take over there. Probably the easiest, yet most awkward of the tasks he had on his mind to take care of. Now, some silly dude would have perhaps considered this a gift from the look of it. And the way he handled it certainly did give it the same level of importance as one. It was a pile of papers, that he had filled with his grandpa. Pretty much a key to starting his move to U.A in some form. For now, it was just for a temporary residence, so that he wouldn't need to be alone at home. But it included one form to get him a permanent residence later.
Just walking to the school building and seeing the dorms loom in the distance, had kirk feeling a bit anxious yet annoyed. Why was he so scared of moving into the school he had been going to for a year and a half already!? Honestly, the answer was already a little bit too clear. He didn't know what his co-students thought about having him around. Maybe Kata would be excited. Risaka would probably just throw him some usual mean looks, Darren... He hadn't seen Darren in a while. Charlie was always nice to hang around with, But... Kirk couldn't help but just sigh, as he pushed the door open and shook his big coat and woolen cap. It had been snowing a lot lately. His shoes were always atleast some level of soaked once he got in a building...
Then, it was just a long and arduous tasks of climbing up the stairs to get to the office where these papers would need to be submitted. Usually he climbed these in a jiffy. Made for an amazing workout for the legs. Maybe he could be on the top floor of the dorms. That way he always got that sort of little break...
More stairs he climbed up, the more he just scratched his head. Fricking, he wasn't even sure if there was any space in the thing anyway! He had been hearing that the first classes had been stuffed with folks as of late! Maybe they had taken all the spots in the dorm and he could just leave this undone! Yeah! Just go back home and live there! No need to worry about having a room next to someone who hated loud noises or... him for that matter! Heck, was the office even open at this time of the year!? He could just move next year instead! Could join with the new years and just sort of blend in, and nobody would notice!
...Oh who was he kidding, he was actually pretty dang doubtful, if this was even a good idea. He was just this big ol loud menace, who had caused a whole lot of problems this semester for all of his bros. As he reached the floor, where he was supposed to take the papers, he instead sat down at the top stair, and leaned into his arms. Was there anyone who would be happy knowing he lived in the dorms from now on? ...Maybe Kata. That new member who had joined the sports club. Or Karen. Sporty types overall. No need to wait for the next day to ask tips on working out and what not... There was that one time, when she had asked if he had any gifts to deliver. He had just given her this funky baseball cap. His favourite team from back home was on it: Midland Stonedogs. Had said that "Anybody would probably look good with that on their head!"
Man, who would want a cap with a foreign sports team on it as a gift? Kirk actually chuckled to himself at the thought. Atleast it picked up his mood about this whole thing a little.
In summary:
If you don't have anybody to specifically give a gift to, Kirk needs a bit of a pick me up! Up to you of course what sort of pick me up.

Post by Ayame Hayashi on Dec 25, 2019 11:50:13 GMT -4
Ah, the time of year Ayame always felt the most guilty. Christmas. She abode by a strict principle whereby she kept all of her material items to herself, and an arbitrary celebration was not going to be an exception to that rule. Regardless, people in the past had still been generous to her. In previous years she’d received all sorts of homemade items for Christmas. Perhaps out of pity of her financial issues, or perhaps it was genuine kindness. She hated not being able to give anything in return. Sometimes she’d even offer to pay for them, but her relatives and friends always insisted on her keeping those presents. They were given as gifts after all.
Ayame wasn’t poor enough to consider herself a victim of poverty. Her parents lived in a house. She ate three meals a day. If she hadn’t been brought up to cling onto money so much, perhaps she’d have been among the gift givers here at U.A. Receiving one herself, especially from someone she didn’t know, was likely not going to go down very well, especially if it was expensive. Who would she even try to return it to?
The door of Room 25 on the second floor of the girls’ dorms was wide open, and Ayame was inside, watching the gentle snowflakes falling onto the chilly layer of white on the ground below. Her hands were subconsciously shuffling a deck of playing cards, for no reason beyond just to fidget, as she pondered on how to spend the rest of her day. The thought to lock herself in her room crossed her mind, but she dismissed that idea promptly. She couldn’t just avoid people so she wouldn’t get gifts foisted upon her. That would be rude.
- Ayame’s in her dorm room staring out the window. The door is wide open.
- She doesn’t really want anything but if she gets something she wants it to be inexpensive.
- A pair of fabric scissors would actually be perfect. Other stationery works too.
- Not expecting a gift from anyone in particular.

It was truly pleasing as Perry felt himself emerge from the bucket at first a bit shaken and unsure what was happening from the flash of red and snow. But quickly his light worry would fade into extreme joy and what many might call Christmas spirit. Emerging to fight a feast, To his small frame truly that a feast of grand proportions and foods that until recently in his life would have been difficult to attain just one of the items let alone the dream of such a entire spread like this one sitting before him.
Skittering quickly as he emerged from the bucket devouring all that came before him. The tastes and dishes something that lulled him into a state of comforted bliss. His vicious if not ferocious feasting only halting briefly when he found the voucher. It was a strange pleasing thing to see students so kind as to offer this to him. His beastly inhaling of the food stopped by the strange emotion within his little heard from this small moment of inner thought. He would smile feeling a warmth rise within himself. While he always had and likely always would have a strong protective shell and worry of humans. He couldn't help but feel that shell become a little more softer now when it came to his students.
