Tokyo's Blood Sacrifice Disaster of 2057
Thirteen of July 2057, several reports of a "foul, rotten and pungent smell" leaking out of a room in the thirteenth floor of a residential building were received by the Tokyo PD. Investigations soon followed, only to reveal a gut wrenching, horrifying murder scene: a typically-designed apartment, covered in blood and various other bodily fluids, the floor littered by now bloated, brutally beaten, some dismembered, bodies. Several pentagrams and other random religious imagery were drawn anywhere they could be found, this too by blood.
A short investigation soon caught trail of the latest owner of the apartment building, Manami Takahara, a quirked ex-convict who, according to public record, had a quirk that "Amplified and twisted emotions of people who pay attention to him". After being found out, attempting to buy an airplane ticket, the man was surprisingly cooperative and quick to confess to his crimes:
According to Manami, he had created a cult with the assistance of his quirk to scam some people from their money, though it went too far. To escape, he immensely intensified their aggression, grudges and euphoria only to then order them all to fight to the death to please the one true god, so that they could then achieve true pleasure and heaven. This, from his own words, would "distract the authorities" for long enough for him to run away with the money he had.
What was something akin to a mock trial was had and, without any question or even the choice of an appeal, a choice that some, at the time, questioned the legality of, though no one dared to actually protest it - unwilling to go through the risk of siding with a man like that. Manami was executed a mere week after his first arrest.

The Deaths:
- 79 Blunt Trauma;
- 20 Hemorraghe;
- 1 Suicide by stab to the stomach;
- 1 Missing (Status: Never found).
It is rumored that the man withheld information from the police, though the convict refused to say anything else. That, however, should not deter anyone from remembering the dangers of irresponsible, unscrupulous greed given power.
