Japanese Goverment and Public Safety Comittee

Japan's government functions much the same as it has since the early 2000s--an Emperor, who is largely a figurehead, a Parliament, called the "Diet," and a series of provincial governors and local mayors. Thus far, quirks are rare among elected officials, due to public stigma.

Of special note is the Department of Public Safety, which contains the Hero Oversight Committee. The Hero Oversight Committee approves and regulates heroes, and also serves as UA's board of directors.
