Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Let thy flowers speak It was a quiet Wednesday so far. She only had to teach three classes today and then she could hit the streets. She had spent the better part of her morning in the nurse’s office getting her forehead bandaged up. One lone kid threw a rock at her head calling her a killer. She couldn’t really do anything about it. He was a kid. Just spouting off what he heard from his parents or television. They never did really put out a story of her name being cleared. To many other things were going on. As flashy and flamboyant as she was normally, she seemed much more subdued today.
First class was set to begin shortly. Probably fifteen minutes before homerooms called. This would make an excellent time to water the flowers. Setting her notebooks on a nearby window sill, she went to the shed and grabbed her butterfly emblazoned watering can, filling it up from the tap nearby. She hummed softly as she went around the garden. Each flower needed a different amount of water, so she kept the timing by the bars she hummed.
During this time, the wind whipped though the field. Causing the daffodils to create a beautiful attention catching pattern. Daffodils were a symbol of unrequited love and deep regards. It was so rare that these flowers ever caught her attention. They were after all Spring time flowers that bloom just after the snow melts.

It was a quiet day at UA and it was perfect weather for a walk. Is what Feng would like to say but she heard on the news and various rumors that a teacher at UA was responsible for the death of a chinese diplomat. Considering the relations between the two nations going way back, the incident makes her feel uneasy considering how close to home it is. One part of her just wants to think its baseless rumors and she has already been proven innocent. That a hero would never kill for their own gain is what she thought in her head. But this countries policies and previous experiences say otherwise.
She wanted to put the thoughts out of her mind and with classes about to start, she had little time on how to get it out of her head. In the end she decided to take a walk before classes started so she can calm down.A gentle breeze blew through the garden as various daffodils blew through. It was a lovely scene to behold but in the distance she could see a familiar figure in the distance.
It..It was the supposed killer of the chinese prime minister. Her name was Aeris from what she could recall from the various reports but none of that mattered right now. She couldn’t find the words to say to her. To ask if she actually did it so she can calm down, but the words escape her and she is left standing there motionless.

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Bloom As the water flowed through the sprinkler head on the bucket, she noticed something in her peripherals. One of her crimson haired students. One of these days, she was really going to have to take a census of hair colors. However a more direct look at her suggested something else. There was conflict behind those eyes. A nervousness and somehow it seemed she was the cause of it. Aeris set the watering can down and walked over slowly.
"Mademoiselle Yao, was it. You seem a little bewildered. Something I may assist you with?" She stopped a mere three arm lengths away from the second year student. Personal space was a great thing to give someone unsure about something. Really highlights the freedom they have and that they need not feel pressured at all. Her arms crossed under her chest as she took a relaxed pose. One that she used often when talking with people in psychology. If she was relaxed, there was no reason for the other not to be.
“If you have something on your mind, I am happy to talk with you, and I will write a note for your home room teacher to excuse your tardiness.” If she remembered correctly, Feng-chan was in 2-A, Jaeger. Oh boy, that was going to require a whole different type of note. To this day, even she has not figured out how to deal with him psychologically.

Oh god she noticed her staring ! How can she answer this without giving away her nervous attitude. This shouldn't be a way a second year should act but how does one deal with the rumor that a UA teacher killed a chinese diplomat. Matters of race don’t bother Feng often but when comes to an incident like this, it's hard to not feel uneasy. Family at home were certainly nervous about it considering the news never escapes them and by golly it causes her great anxiety whenever an incident like this happens. Half the incidents happening here cause heartache for her family and it doesn't help her injuries she sustained during her first year was televised. But that is not the point right now as she needs to think of an excuse to avoid the whole topic about you know MURDER
“N-nothing!”, Feng quickly replied to avoid suspicion. “J-just wanted to ask about something about uh….”she quickly trailed off as she desperately tried to find something to talk about to sidestep her troubled thoughts.”F-Flowers good for black and white photography! I've mulling over choices since some flowers work better in black and white than others so I wanted some recommendations !”,she said as she remembered she wanted to get some practice in with black and white photography. Sidestepping the issue with her one of hobbies will help, hopefully it will calm her heart but right now she hopes she doesn't read her right now. Because she is as open as a book in windy field.

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee You can learn a lot of things from the flowers "Sure I have some time to kill. Why not come on out?" Aeris repsonded to the second year. Not aware of how that phrase might seem in this hidden context. The fairy had been trying to put the whole framing out of her own mind, and it wasn't even a possibility for the student body to be talking about it. So she felt pretty safe at the moment. Stopping at the edge of the garden, her fingers delicately danced along the edges of the petals of a few blooms.
"Individual flowers are pretty hit and miss when it comes to black and white photography. But they real key here is Contrast. In the 1950's when they were filming in black and white, there was this show called, the Addam's Family. In order to capture a brillant contrast for the gothic tone they wanted, they had to shoot in pastels. While Uncle Fester was supposed to look sickly despite being large, he had to wear a brown fur coat which created enough contrast with his tanned skin to make him look pale. Pink was often used for the brightest grey, and often times it was whiter than actual white skulls on the same cake. The walls, which were supposed to look grimey and dingy, were just colored in fushia."
Looking to Feng she offered up a smile. "So if there is a partiular flower you want to take a picture of, set it within an area of high contrast. Like this daffodil., you might want to use the blue sky, maybe in a sea of hydrangea, or poke a few blue items within the scene." Tags: Here Word Count/Total: 274/750

“G-Great!”
Phew she didn't notice how nervous she was and directed the conversation to something more pleasant. Though her choice of words when responded to her did make the hairs at the back of her neck stand up considering what she did or was rumored to have done. She did however give a lot of information which she did not know about and started to get an idea on what to do for her series of photos.
But shifting her mind to photography helped ease her nerves as she started to think about the variety of flowers she wanted to show off. But much of the information is lost when placing a large variety of flowers into black and white photo. Albeit much of the focus shifts from colors and goes towards the details and compositions. There was a particular flower that was popping up in her mind.
Feng considered her options and thought about her amateur skills as a photographer. She could only do much with her skills and weighed on it for a few moments. But she ultimately wanted a simple shot that could convey how she feels right now. She knows next to jack squat about the language of flowers but hopes her choices would show her intentions.
“Hmm..I could try using the sky as a backdrop which could work..since I'm still pretty new to black and white photography...but the flowers I have in mind would be...Chrysanthemums and Red Spider Lilies since they would look beautiful in black and white what do you think sensei?”, Feng asked in a clear tone as she looked at Aeris with careful eyes. Her nervousness from before changed and came forth as this cryptic question. Because dancing around the issue is only going to make things worse, she needs to know if she did it or why she did it.

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Why Ling Chrysanthemums were quite varied in their coloration, she should be able to find great contrast in that. The Red Spider Lilies were a bit trickier. Red was hard to contrast, and the thin tendrils were often disappeared without a high enough resolution. But when she was asked what she thought, she just smiled. "If you love to do something and are passionate enough about it, you can find a way to make it work. Skills can always be improved with work and knowledge, but your passion for will show in every picture you take. That are what Red Spider lilies mean in the language of flowers. Passion, but they may also mean a sad memory. In China, the chrysanthemum is traditionally offered to the elderly as they symbolize long life as well as good luck in the home.”
As she stood back up, she looked over the flower garden. Each flower reminded her of her students at the school. Turning to look to Feng, she knew something else was on her mind. “You know that word I throw around when I refer to the students here as Herolings? I don’t say that to belittle you all. I use it is a way that a Gosling has the potential to grow into a Goose. Sometimes things might seem like they are going to be tough, even to say something, but I know you will find a way of following through with your ideals. Seeing your goals met and lives saved.”

..Is she the type to kill someone? Despite the fear that slumbered within her chest. These were not the words of someone who would kill the prime minister. These were the words of a teacher who cared about her students and would help whenever she could. She was not her teacher of her specific class but she could tell that she was an instructor she would enjoy learning under if the circumstances were only a slight bit different.
Feng was surprised by the response as the words did struck a chord with her. Much doubt was bothering as of late. Too many things to be honest, rather complicated and ugly details fill the gaps. The fear that was in her bosom was calming and the words made her doubt her previous thoughts and actions. Were the rumors not actually true and all of this was a misunderstanding? None can say for certain, but she can say that her words are swaying her.
Her knowledge of flowers surprised her as she clung onto each word and meaning as if each one were true. The flowers that were once a sign of fear then became a symbol of hope in her eyes. Ironic that the black and white image of the flowers that were meant to convey a different message were thrown back Feng and became another symbol of the future.
It made her regret that she held these fears in the first place. Why was she just in assuming that a teacher like this would do the thing she supposedly did? What made her lose faith in someone such as this? Was being cryptic not enough, should she just ask straight out to get the most forward response? Were the people who spoke their doubts wrong and the news spoke the truth for once? There was only one way to find out for sure and it was the most direct way to say without losing any words or feelings. If she were the educator she is set out to be, she can answer this question as honestly with the same words as the flowers before.
“Ms.Leon…. I hate to ask this question now...but was the rumor true...that...you took the life of someone?...”, Feng asked clearly as she looked at her with an honest gaze.”..I don't want to assume they’re true...because I want to hear an honest response about these rumors…”, she said as her chest began to tighten. It was a difficult question to ask and depending on her response could make or break her facade.
