It was the day of reckoning, Savage was out walking the streets of the Tokyo looking into perhaps purchasing something for lunch when he felt a phone vibrate in his pocket. He smiled as he noticed the message was from 'Little Red' telling him she had arrived, it was about time to see what the cat had dragged and normally he'd try to have the transaction at the docks but Jean had been insisting that Savage at least make an attempt at staying down low he decided to at least be slightly cautious, also it'd been a few years since seeing Red so why not some where a tad more... Casual? He messaged her a cafe in Shinagawa, partially because he wanted to catch up but also because he didn't want to leave Shinagawa so long as rumors of high-level technology were about.
After hitting send Savage wheeled around walking back to the boys hide out, mostly because he had a devious plan to crush two birds with one stone. You see Savage had been telling Jean for a few weeks that he had a familiar contact who was going to be dealing in weapons to the Vagabonds just in case they wanted to escalate the fun, but Savage had made careful sure to leave out exactly WHO it was. Because well... There are five ways the titanic leader of the boys knows how to get on Jean's nerves going from least to greatest.
1. Breaking Jean's nerd stuff.
2. Eating Jean.
3. Savage going on a walk in a suburban area.
4. Willingly walking into traps.
5. Ana
Just the mention of her name has sent Jean into fits of rage that even make the stoic colossus shudder... But of course that's why Savage wanted to keep it a secret until Little Red finally arrived, perhaps partially to see if they could mend their past grievances or just to see what Jean would end up destroying. Either way a win win for Savage!
First he had to traverse the cement jungle that was urban Japan, going through crowds of people in an environment of dark and light grey occasionally interrupted by grass or some other vegetation, either that or neon signs that marked dodgy shops all the while to the white noise that was the bustling streets occasionally interceded by the sounds of someone being mugged or the rare car. After a good while he finally made it to a now abandoned little warehouse that the boys were using as a sort of make-shift home base until they came to the decision between outfitting Mount Fuji, using the cargo ship, or stealing a private island. While the outside of the hide out seemed like a standard mostly unused property, a few webs, broken windows that are boarded up, graffiti, all the marks of a junked store house but once you went inside it became very different.
Jean's sense of high culture had always mean't that he would never tolerate living in an ugly home, going on a one man war with almost every makeshift base the boys have reprimanded in their near twenty year run by this point, he was almost like a maid who'd tell you to fuck off if you asked him to clean up something. But still he always did a good job, at least to Savage, he'd acquire good furniture that was quite comfortable, perhaps good lights, paintings, silverware, when it came to the logistics it was undisputed that Jean was something of a master always surprising Savage. However despite his best efforts the others boys also had their own styles which mean't that the main base of the boys was always some what split between clashing styles, be it Jean's surgical supplies sitting next to the table where they'd eat, Ryung's various posters dedicated to long dead rock stars (and his vials of mascara), Eduardo's make shift ponds that Savage would help carve out of the ground when it was cement, Jerry's surprising collection of old school guns and cigars, and finally Savage's corner... Which was had a stack of dirty magazines, a closet filled with potential disguises of which most were hawaiian shirts, and various gym equipment. Which to Savage what qualifies as gym equipment are just any ludicrously heavy objects he can find.
Speaking of Hawaiian shirts, when looking for potential clothes to the cafe Savage noticed that since coming to Japan he had used them in such abundance that they were either smeared in blood, hardly qualified as shirts any more, or were too small for Savage to even attempt to put them on. He scratched his beard in contemplation thinking of what else he could possible where, there was a leather jacket hanging but Savage grimaced when he looked at it, it came from a different time a long time ago. AKA it was before Ryung joined the group and tainted Savage's once deep love for leather, instead Savage grabbed clothes he had stole from a someone's hanging laundry when he was making a quick get away once, he was in luck as well since this man's clothes seemed to oddly fit on to Savage. Well... As good as clothes CAN fit on Savage. What was this out fit you may ask? Well it was a cap, a plaid jacket, and a white t-shirt. looked like an American truck driver though these clothes were actually from Africa.
After finding good clothes to where Savage kicked down the door to Jean's laboratory which Jean probably caught before it had a chance of destroying his lab equipment since he was well versed in Savage's entrances by now, chewing bubble gum he found on the side of his closet he said. "The supplier has arrived! We're going to be meeting them at a cafe, find something nice like me. They're very important." Without much more to say Savage would wait outside until Jean was ready than the two would make off to the cafe where with any luck there was going to be a very interesting greeting.
