“So I’ve been told.” She’d smirk back to the comment about her being a charmer. She didn’t mean to be playing the hot and cold game with the woman, but while a bit of a teasy back and forth was fun and games, Mia just wasn’t feeling this was the place OR the time to be getting any further than that. Afterall they were on the roof of a police building on the verge of a massive raid operation.
She’d snicker along as the woman had such a pleasant little reaction to the comment about the coat, rolling her eyes a little and leaning back on the railings. “Oi you started all this at this point. You really think the HR departments gonna be on your side if we get this all written up?” She stuck her tongue out idly and playfully, though eased her weight off the railing as it creaked a little under the weight of her dense muscles.
“Heeeey look at you findin’ the loopholes though. Great work newbie.” She’d idly throw in a wink there before continuing. “Might find a use for you amongst the heroes yet.” Again more playful words. While Mia had only seen the teasing side of the woman before her, even that, having someone who wasn’t super serious or too self absorbed, was definitely a nice change of pace already.
At the request to show off her own quirk, Mia’s brow quirked a little. She wasn’t too sure what the other woman meant for a moment but even then as it set in, Mia just chuckled a little. “I mean, I’m a bulking Behemoth of muscle. I can’t really ‘show that off’ like floating about. I mean I can only force myself to get so strong without the rush of a fight flowing through me or some anger or…ya know. And heck I can’t prove how strong I am without ripping out a ceiling fan. Police hate me enough as it is!~” She let out a hearty little chuckle at the end there, grinning wide at the idea.
“heh, yeah. Nothing wrong with being playful. But maybe save the cries of distress for the civilians eh? If you ever need to hit me up just…I dunno. Flash the Mia signal. I’m sure some weeb’s made one of those on their roof by now.~” She smirked, meaning no offense with the term ‘weeb’ but…at the same time, it was definitely a weeb who made one, if anybody at this stage.
