A short while later Kenshin would find his phone ringing repeatedly as if the caller was in a frenzy and upon picking it up one of Shien's students yelled in a panicking voice through the line. "Kenshin! please save us! It's the Dojo Hunter! She came while Master Shien was out on a meeting! We're trying our best to stop her but she's too much!"
A female voice could be heard in the background yelling something while Shien's student cried out to Kenshin "Hurry! We're the last ones left! She crushed all the seniors and is heading for the room where the new students are hiding. No! Hayate! Damd you demon, you'll pay for that!""
The phone could be heard falling onto the ground as several loud clashes of metal hitting metal could be heard, before a sickening scream from the student's voice pierced the air, and finally the sound of an ominous thunder resounded from the phone as the line died, even while the weather outside seemed sunny and crystal clear with no thunder cloud in the sky...
Upon his arrival at the dojo Kenshin would be quick to realize something was wrong, the doors to the dojo had been unhinged, as if something had blasted them open and the entrance lobby was pure chaos. The tatami mats were charred, some having deep cuts in them while others simple burn marks, here and there some of the older apprentices that Kenshin had sparred with before were collapsed nearby. Although they were severely injured, they all still seemed alive.
Entering deeper into the dojo Kenshin would quickly realize that the scene before him felt similar to a violent raid, the way the stronger apprentices of the dojo had valiantly fought to defend their juniors, trying to create blockades for the intruder to keep themselves from traversing deeper into the dojo.
A tall male, Kyle was crouched near the doorway leading deeper into the dojo. It was a person Kenshin was familiar with, one of the older and more experienced students of Shien, his bokken was lying on the ground, fragmented and shattered as he looked up at Kenshin. Kyle always was a cheerful and kind person, helpful and also quite respectful and honorable, the type of person that fit Shien's teachings so well. A foreigner who traveled to Japan to learn the talented Shien's way.
"K-Kenshin..." The young man muttered weakly, extending a hand toward him, as if he desperately tried to reach for that glimmer of hope. "Hayate and the head discipline... they are trying to protect the others deeper inside. We tried our best, but her power... her anger is overwhelming."
He coughed in pain before he continued. "Master Shien... he is on his way back with Shindou-san and a talented doctor but... the others won't last much longer... please, please save them before the Dojo Hunter breaks them..."
It was then all of a sudden, that from deeper inside the dojo a thunderous explosion resounded, followed by a high-pitched scream...

Kenshin was lost in thought. Having nothing to do at the moment, he went out to eat alone at a restaurant. He was eating his lunch as he began thinking about various things. His family, friends, schoolwork, bass practice, the eternal question of vigilantism vs UA that he still did not yet have an answer to, his job, and various other things. At the moment, his thoughts fell on Shien's Dojo. It was thanks to that place that his swordsmanship had seen much improvement. In addition, he had met several good friends and rivals. So many great spars and battles. Kenshin did worry about the place sometimes, however. Despite Master Shien being an incredible swordsman despite his age, not everyone there was as skilled. In addition, the dojo still seemed to have the misfortune of attracting trouble. Like that bastard Yamitou who was thankfully now behind bars with his cohorts thanks to the boy's and Tetsuko's assistance. There were others, though they posed little threat when compared to Yamitou. Despite that, Kenshin knew that one day, someone far more dangerous would show up. And Shien's students would not always be able to depend on Kenshin to be there for them. Such a thought saddened the boy. Still, while Kenshin was able to, he was determined to be there for Shien and his students if anyone ever dared to attack the dojo. Not only was it the best way for Kenshin to pay back Shien and the students of his dojo for the experiences they had given him, but it was just the right thing to do. They were almost like another family to him. Just like his true family, as well as the Storm Knights, Kenshin was prepared to fight hard for the people he cared about. Suddenly, a loud vibration from Kenshin's pocket interrupted the boy's thoughts. He immediately took his phone out and answered. And oh boy, this was not good! Pretty damn far from it. "What! The Dojo Hunter?! Shit!" Kenshin had indeed heard the rumors of the Dojo Hunter. "I'll head over there as soon as I..." But then the call was cut short. Kenshin had heard the scream. It was obvious that the situation was extremely dire. Gritting his teeth, Kenshin got up, grabbed his things, and literally ran out of the restaurant. Running as fast as he could to the dojo, Kenshin hoped that he could make it there in time. It was a shame that with so many people outside, it would be impossible to activate his quirk without being seen. With his armor on, he could have ran a lot faster. But sadly, things don't always go as one would hope. He would just have to deal with his normal running speed for now. Upon arriving, it was clear that things were even worse than Kenshin had initially thought. Oh shit... Running past the unhinged broken dojo doors, the boy quickly ran up to the collapsed dojo students. The boy sighed a breath of relief upon seeing that they were still alive. Good, I'm not too late. Still, this was no time to celebrate. After promising to call an ambulance for them (not that the unconscious students could hear him say so anyway), Kenshin ran deeper inside the dojo. He then noticed Kyle, one of the older and more experienced students. "Damn it! Kyle, you alright?" If even Kyle was pushed to this point, then that there was proof of just how powerful this threat was. The boy listened as the injured student explained that the Dojo Hunter was just too much. That despite Shien being on his way back with a talented doctor and Tetsuko, that the others would not last much longer at this rate. "Take it easy. Just try to hang on. I'll stop that bastard, or at least hold her off long enough for help to arrive. Don't worry, I'll take care of it!" Kenshin was not one to make promises without being absolutely sure that he would be able to uphold it. Damn Dojo Hunter! I'll make you pay for this!A loud thunderous explosion. A scream. There was no time to waste! Kenshin ran in deeper. He was ready to transform the moment he saw the bastard. I'll save everyone! And I'll be sure to kick your ass, Dojo Hunter! Kenshin did not know just how long it would take for the cavalry to arrive. But he was preparing for what could possibly be his most intense battle yet. | Word count: 753

The moment Kenshin arrived at the innermost sanctum of the dojo, he would have found his target, or perhaps the predator had found him instead? It was hard to say to be honest. The room was best described as the remnants of a battlefield, that which had once been a place of relaxation and comfort, where the students could take a break to relax, enjoy a snack or indeed sometimes even enjoyed cooked meals together, Kyle did love to treat his fellow students to some ramen from the place he worked part-time at. Nonetheless, it was all reduced by such violent carnage. furniture was broken, here and there cuts and burn marks were visible on the walls and the wooden floor, and on the floor at the other side of the room the source of the earlier scream was found. A teenage boy, perhaps around Kenshin's age was collapsed on his knees, unsteadily trying to regain his footing while a young woman stood before him. On first sight she appeared fairly young, perhaps roughly around Kenshin's age with very light blondish hair that could even be mistaken a silverish tint. The girl's hand was raised toward the collapsed guardian, sparks of obsidian electricity being expelled by her hand as the boy exclaimed loudly. "I won't let you hurt the others! You won't get away with this!" Yet the girl laughed softly, seemingly entertained by those words. "Oh really? You expect that a hero would save them? Look behind you." The teenager worriedly turned to the sliding door behind him, a hand hesitatingly sliding it open as a heartbreaking sight shown itself. Children, perhaps the youngest of teenagers who had been attending Shien's dojo lessons out of an innocent and heartwarming passion for martial arts, had their bokken on the ground while they were terrified looking at the doorway, like hopeless sheep ready for the slaughter. "You might protect their bodies, but you won't protect their souls! Their wills are broken, just like those that came before you, they won't dare to ever take up a blade again... and once I show Shien what a pathetic state his sanctuary got reduced to, I will destroy him, alongside his teachings." However, something unexpected happened, something she didn't expect in the slightest, for one of the children, a young girl darted past her, it wasn't that she was too fast to stop her, rather it was the look in the girl's eyes that had flabbergasted her: hope. The child ran straight toward Kenshin, tugging his arm lightly and gesturing at the Dojo Hunter. "I knew you would come! They all said you were going to save us! Because Kenshin-nii-chan is a real hero!" The dojo hunter slowly turned to face Kenshin, her lips curving up slightly into a smile. No doubt Kenshin would recognize who the dojo hunter truly was: Mirai, Thunder Shock's daughter! "A pity~ I expected 'her' to arrive, but instead I find a so-called hero trying to obstruct my revenge. How problematic... Mother said I shouldn't use my techniques against anyone but a Shindou but... I'm sure she won't mind... if you don't live to tell the tale~" And with those words the tension in the room seemed ready to be split asunder by just a single attack!

To see the rooms of Shien's Dojo in this ruined state. All this carnage, damage, it was truly a shame. Kenshin grit his teeth in anger. How dare this fiend tarnish this dojo and the good people within! He was determined to make the Dojo Hunter pay, to make the criminal regret ever stepping foot inside here! Bursting in the innermost room, Kenshin looked around and noticed just how bad it was here. As if the other rooms weren't already torn and ravaged enough, this one took things up to 11. It was nothing short of a miracle that no one here was actually dead. But by the looks of them, it was clear that the students were frightened. Their will to fight almost completely extinguished by the darkness exuded from this fiend. Well no matter! Kenshin was determined to restore the blue flames of Shien's teachings. Restore the damage that was caused. And more importantly, drive off the foe of this dojo. And speaking of foe, upon seeing the Dojo Hunter in person, Kenshin's eyes widened in shock. "...You!"There was no mistaking it. After that fight all those months ago to rescue Haruuhi from Thunder and those other villains, Kenshin could never forget that face. The face of Thunder's own daughter. Mirai! In truth, though she had declared their match a draw due to being forced to evacuate by the villain Bucket, Kenshin had done badly in that fight. His transformation was just about to run out, and this was way back before he had mastered Museigen, back before he could bypass his body's natural limiter. Simply put, had Bucket not forcibly ended that fight, Kenshin might not have escaped in one piece. And that was if he was lucky enough to escape alive at all. "Stand back. Keep as far away as you can." Kenshin did not want the remaining students to be caught in the crossfire. "Leave this room. Just leave her to me." After the students hopefully got the hint to get the hell away, Kenshin glared at Mirai. "So you know the Shindous, huh? Well I've held my own against one of their best, so it's only fair to warn you. If you dare take me lightly, then I'll crush you. I'll make you pay for what you've done!" Unlike Kenshin who recognized her almost right away, the Dojo Hunter may not have been able to do the same. After all, she had only ever seen him with his armor on. Unless she somehow remembered his voice, but that was probably unlikely. But all it would take for all that to change was one single word. One word uttered by the boy as he entered his battle stance. "HENSHIN!"Once the red armor finished materializing on top of the green grid of lines that covered the boy's body upon the activation of his quirk, Mirai would be able to recognize him as the one she had fought all those months ago. And if for some reason there was still any more doubt, Kenshin's left hand began to glow and morph into his signature red blade of hard light. "Looks like we'll be able to have that rematch after all."Perhaps using his quirk like this was reckless. After all, quirk use was illegal in the eyes of the law. But right now, that did not matter to the boy. With the kind of opponent Kenshin was facing, this could very well become a battle of life and death. She was not one to be taken lightly. If Kenshin hoped to not end up like last time, then he was determined to come at the Dojo Hunter with everything he had. | Word count: 616
