A sharp, but slow deep breath through her nose. There were so many scents in the air tonight... the air was almost crisp tonight, fall was coming, and the temperature was starting to dip a little bit... it wasn't cold, but it was far more pleasant than the almost unbearable heat that happened even at night. With the cool air came a very strong scent of sweat, a smell that made her smile as she buried her face deeper into its source; it stunk, but it was the good kind of stink, the sort of stink that was salty but sweet, the sort of stink that was... what was the word? Intoxicating...~. The almost-crispness of the air, the sweet, sweet smell of sweat, and the scent of city air combined with the smell of pizza... she wasn't taking any, even though she could smell the sauce and the bread and the meat on top. She didn't want any, not right this second, at least.
She buried her face deeper into that sweat, nuzzling her nose as deep into the chest of her incredible boyfriend, into his smooth, almost flawless skin, taking a deep, deep, deep breath, almost snorting his sweat right into her nostrils. Her arms were around him, pressing her chest deep into his stomach as she squeezed him just a little tighter. His smell was absolutely incredible, she was drunk on it, she was fully willing to admit it and she didn't care, not when he was so incredible, so handsome, so energetic! She didn't want to open her eyes, not when the smell of them was so strong in the air, she wanted to breathe it, to be it. She was happy, pure and completely happy; no drugs (well, not a lot, anyway), no murder... just happiness. Her mind was quiet in that way that was just fantastic... no worries, no thoughts, just happiness. The night air, her boyfriend, pizza, a TV... Luzia couldn't imagine it getting better than this.
She rolled over, shifting to lay her back against Niso's front, staring up at the black, blank sky. She had almost hoped that she would see a star, a pretty little dot on the canvas, but tonight wasn't her lucky night... well, it was damned fucking lucky, but it wasn't with the stars. It didn't bring her mood down, though, not with her amazing boyfriend, the amazing air, and the flickering of the neon light on them. She closed her eyes again, smiling as that flickering red light - from an actual sign, not from her - shone on her. She still thought it weird that Niso built his home on top of the building, but she had grown to like it. Fresh air, nice breezes, and plus it was so weird it was so Niso.
She streched out her whole body, long since past the awkwardness of being bare to the entire world, looking up at her boyfriend and grinning, snatching the pizza out of his hand and taking a bite of it even though it was one of his slices. She flicked his eyes to him, smirking playfully, but before he could protest, she reached up and gently put her hand over his mouth. Everything was quiet right now; even with the fire truck blazing down a few streets over, everyhing just felt quiet. She didn't want that ruined. Even so, with her look, it was clear she was thinking that she needed food as much as he did, after what he did. Smiling, the rare feeling of contentment - among other things - filling her up, she rolled to lay on her side on top of him, gnawing on the pizza piece that wasn't even her's, closing her eyes, just listening to the fire truck drive away. To Niso's breathing. Letting her mind go quiet. No stress. No anger. (Mostly) no drugs.
Just... happy.
