APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Yasashi is in a word, huge for his age. Built solid with a defined frame and a toned body he is a prime example of the male figure. Paired with his frame are a set of piercing ice-blue eyes and a head of blonde hair, he strikes a rather frightening appearance. Despite that, his face is capable of a full range of emotions from anger to bitter grief and genuine heartfelt warmth.
He prefers to keep his hair short but has recently grown it out long enough to hang over his ears, rarely decorating himself beyond simple grooming. He rarely goes without some sort of covering for his chest and arms, preferring skin-tight clothing while strength training. His body his covered in scars from his life before UA and serves as a warning that not all Quirkers are safe regardless of their affiliation and leanings. Even the kindest heart can be mistreated if they are different enough. Despite all this, not a single scar is self-inflicted.

DISLIKES
Personality:
Yasashi is a gentle soul at his core. A tender person who cares more for others than himself. A person that abhors needless violence, he prefers a peaceful resolution in any situation he encounters. Since he was a boy he was terrified of demonstrating his quirk and he allowed that to color his beliefs; turning him into something of a pacifist. Yet deep down he craves a challenge and he's learned that sometimes one must stand and fight for what they believe in. Because of this he's decided to put his pacifism to use and become a walking deterrent, using his terrifying appearance and quirk to inspire fear in villains; a black knight for hero society to look to. As a result; he has overcome his quirk-fear.
As a friend, Yasashi is more than supportive, highly analytical and observant he takes his time to help his friends and allies grow as best they can and will put himself in harms way on their behalf. It should be noted that he once had a habit of not taking his own advice and this has consistently hampered his own growth. Since graduating into his second year he has thrown himself against that person he once was and has grown into a bit more of the hero he will one day be.
As an enemy, if one can get to that point, Yasashi is an absolute terror. Beneath his near-infinite patience is a cold inferno of focused anger dedicated to one thing, dealing with the threat before him. He will not hesitate to use the full weight of his power to deal with something that has finally managed to stoke his wrath. However, once his fury has abated, it takes just as long to stoke it again.
In general, Yasashi is a doting older brother, a jolly old soul, a lover of simple things, sweets, and a sappy love story. He expresses himself vibrantly and laughs loudly. He loves giving out hugs, cheering his friends on, and playing a game of cards or chess.

HISTORY
Yasashi was born sixteen years ago to the vigilante Fuuka Keiko and the villain Taka Minoru. His parents met as their private identities and began a brief affair. Minoru, a villain known as Wight, eventually left behind his life as a criminal to spend his time with Keiko who had become far more important to him than the greed that had suffused his life up until that point. When Yasashi was born, Minoru proposed to his wife and since then the two have been happily married. Minoru has since been living as an at-home husband and Keiko working part-time as the Knightly Vigilante, Aquitaine. Several years after Yasashi was born his sister, Seiki, was born. Within months of that event, Yasashi's quirk manifested for the first time as a combination of his mother and father's quirks.
Despite all the encouragement in the world at home, the reaction to his quirk from others has shaped his self-worth. Yasashi grew up terrified of the haunting and frightful abilities that he possessed and the unusual body that came with it. Often assaulted on the way home from school and forced to defend his sister with his own body, Yasashi grew up dreading his powers and even attempting to go without using them much to his mother and father's chagrin.
In the end, fate conspired to force him to confront his abilities. Aquitaine was invited to be one of the first heroes to undergo the licensing examinations and take up a role as a pro-hero. With his mother being one of the first to embrace the new system it was expected that a young quirker with potential like Yasashi would follow in her footsteps and go to the newly opened UA academy. Despite his many protests at home, the decision was made. On the surface did not want to embrace his future, but deep down, hiding beneath the fear and anxiety, a kernel of a true hero was hiding. That small flame was all it took to finally change his mind.
Yasashi began attending UA at 16. At first terrified of using his quirk and thereby demonstrating his abilities. He attempted to disguise his quirk by only showing the enhanced strength that he possessed; passing himself off as a paragon-type hero. Most students realized there was something off and saw his refusal to participate in sparring as a form of arrogance. This finally came to a head when he was confronted by Yuuto and the two had a battle if ideologies. Yasashi was defeated by Yuuto as a result of neglecting his quirk's growth. Afterward, he met many other people who had an impact on his life. The Number One Hero; Red Horn and the Witch Doctor Nimue were two very powerful forces in him shifting his beliefs.
This all came to a climax when he met the villain Sunaho by chance. The situation was dire; if he turned his back a civilian would be executed on the spot. If he stayed, he stood little chance. Yasashi, throwing his cowardice to the back, triggered the panic signal on his phone and challenged Sunaho who soundly crushed him. In a last ditch effort; Yasashi allowed his quirk to go berzerk, demonstrating the sheer power he'd be capable of in the future. Impressed, Sunaho let him go, leaving behind a skull mask as a memento. He was recovered and committed to the hospital. There he recovered surrounded by friends and family. The doctors informed him that overuse of his quirk affected his bone density and he may not have fully recovered.
He returned to school after that and attempted to prepare for the Sports Festival. He practiced alone for a time before unlocking more of his Barrow King quirk; demonstrating the ability to create healing 'ghostfire'. He realized that his quirk was not 'bones' but something more. Excited by the challenge and wholly committed to overcoming his weakness after being crushed so soundly he trained ceaselessly, even going so far as to challenge the number one student to a spar before being again crushed soundly. After that, he approached the Witch Doctor and School Nurse, Nimue, and asked that she teach him how to perform field medic duties. From there he had a fateful encounter with Mia Kearney, Red Horn, and she agreed to take him on as a pupil in his second year.
With his course set he moved on to the Sports Festival. After much thought he had finally decided on the name he would take as a hero and the philosophy he would embody. He would become a symbol, something to deter villains from rising up. His first match would be a fateful rematch with Yuuto. Tragically, in the first round when he at last used his quirk at it's maximum, a lingering physical trauma from his beating by Sunaho caused him to collapse before the fight began. He recovered in time for a runner up match and emerged victorious. However, what followed was an exhibition event match simulating a rescue. While valorous through the match he saw that his friends on the opposing team where far more deserving of the victory. He inevitably gave the victory to Honey Hirano, tossing her across the victory line.
After the Sports Festival he registered to study under both Witch Doctor and Red Horn in order to expand his power set. Unfortunately, part way through his second year his quirk began to evolve again. Having never actually accessed the full 'state' of his quirk, it's rapid growing pains have been causing him a great deal of physical distress. He has been sent to the hospital for observation.
