Ask and you shall receive. Miku was trained by a Pro Hero, by a Vigilante, and she wanted to be trained by a villain. Ask and you shall receive. She was gonna be trained by the motherflippin ThunderShock. What she was doing was probably a terrible crime in itself, but... its a sacrife she had to make. Train with a villain, see how they think and see how they fight.
She came to the place Thunder told her to get to and she wasnt dressed in anything UA like and not even her own regular casual clothes. Instead she worse her go-to clothes when she had to get physical. White shorts, white shoes, black tank top with a X shaped cross in the front. She ommited other parts of the outfit, like the necklace, hat or bandana. If she did have that she'd either look like Meiko or have that necklace remind him of G, which was not a smart thing to do.
Miku looked at the time, as far as she knew she came on time.... okay maybe a few... 8-10 minutes earlier then Thunder told her, but come on. Do you really wanna be late to Thundershock? Yeah, thats what I thought

Thunder had taken off for their meeting location earlier that morning, having spent the day giving two of his subordinates the instructions they needed for this training exercise. It hadn't taken them long to set everything up, which gave Thundershock plenty of time to himself. He'd spent a few hours exercising on his own, and finally had spent a good hour asleep on the grass. It left the Yakuza leader wide open, not bothering to hide himself at all as he slept, but judging by how soundly he slept, that vulnerability didn't bother him in the slightest.
When Miku first arrived she would find him still lying on his side, head propped up onto his arm, eyes closed. It might seem like the perfect opportunity for anyone to sneak up on him, but as soon as anyone got within his range, sparks would begin to appear on his body. The man would slowly begin opening his eyes, a light groan escaping his lips as the sparks served as a sort of alarm. Judging by the fact that there weren't any incoming attacks, he didn't feel threatened enough to move quickly. He sat up straight, legs crossed as he rubbed his eyes free from sleep. He'd look up towards his daughter with the same sort of sluggish expression, but offered her a brief smile.
"I'm glad you made it, Miku. I admittedly worried a little bit. Are you really sure you're ready for my kind of training? It won't be easy by any means." He reminded her from his seated position. Around Thunder Miku would be able to see a small backpack and two rolled up sleeping bags. It would seem like a weird assortment of things, considering Miku had no idea what Thunder planned to do.

Miku eventually spotted Thunder, he was just lying on his side, head propped up on to his arm, eyes closed and he was like so care free. Like as if all was right in the world. That actually left Miku speechless, its not something she expected to see. Miku wonder how come Thunder was so care free, but the answer was clear when she'd see a few sparks. Yeah, thats how he was care free. Miku went to slowly approach Thunder, she was kinda sneaking up on him, but only because she didnt wanna wake him up. She always felt guilty waking people up, even if they told her to do it.
Then Thunder woke up, opened his eyes, groaned as he got up. First he sat up straight and rubbed his eyes a bit to wake himself up better. When he looked at her, he had this sorta sluggish look on his face, she didnt know what that meant. Was he tired? Wait oh, he's smiling a bit, well thats nice of him.
Then he asked was she sure she was ready for his kind of training, and well obviously it wont be easy. But... well... it cant be worse then what Hachi did? Even Hachi said that kids get bruised. Thunder cant be that much worse,... right?................. right? Ohgodhelpthispoorchild.
"I'm ready as I'll ever be. Besides" she shrugged "since when is life easy? Plus I trust you. I doubt you'll wanna maim my hand like that one person at UA" she said "Than God she's gone" Miku thought to herself

Thunder closed his eyes for another brief moment, a yawn escaping his lips again as his smile turned into a bit of a smirk. the older man chuckled as Miku stated he wouldn't be trying to chop off her hand. Unfortunately, there were no guarantees of that.
"No, I've just ordered a hit on us instead." He said matter of factly, opening up his eyes once more then pushing himself up to his feet. He would pick up his backpack as he stood, slinging it over his shoulder, the sleeping bags now dangling under the bag, still rolled up.
"Kobayashi training 1. Survive and protect whats yours. We're spending the weekend out here being hunted, and they will actually try to kill us. So we have to be careful. I'll teach you what I can while we're out here but, you should focus on staying alive." He would explain to her, pointing with his thumb over his shoulder to the denser forested area behind them. Right now they were in a clearing, which meant that if the exercise had already started, they were sitting ducks.
"How's that electric plant of yours coming along by the way? This would be as good a time as any to train that."

Thunder smirked and then said he just ordered a hit on them. But that cant be. Why would Thunder do that? Order a hit on himself? Thats just counterproductive
"ahahahah! Thats a funny joke!" Miku said when she nervously laughed.
But as he got up, got ready and continued talking, Miku's face turned grim and said "Oh God, its not a joke". Still though it couldnt be THAT bad. Its just survival training. Only instead of being fake and pretend. Its more real. Like.. if you're good at surviving, it shouldnt matter if its real or not. Y-yeah... its just a mental barrier. .... thing.
Now that Thunder spoke, Miku was quiet and nodded. Stay alive. Yes. And in order to stay alive one needed to be quiet. But still... how hard is it to survive when he is there beside her. Thunder asked about that electro bulb technique she had, how was it going "Oh... its good. I think the zaps got stronger. But still they're just like glorified mines" Miku said quietly. Now that the training was clear, she would follow Thunders lead, where he went, so would she. She took a few deep breaths to remain calm. This was something she never thought she'd live through

"Definitely not a joke. You'll slack off if you know you aren't in any real danger, and just know that I wont help you more then I have too." Thunder clarified as he could see Miku's uncertainty with the whole situation. Good, he meant to catch her off guard with this... he was sure she'd be even more surprised by the so called goons he had hired to try and kill them. It was a bit of a delicate situation, but this guy had come through in the past, and Thunder had been very clear in his instructions. He hoped that this would turn out well for all those involved.
Miku would then clarify the progress she had made with her plant, and that got Thunder thinking, though he didn't waste time hanging around while doing so.
"Alright, that gives me an idea for later. For now we need to get out of the open, I'm sure they're already stalking us. We need to start getting higher up on the mountain where the forestry is thicker. I don't want you to just follow me, I want you to take charge and do this on your own. I can help when it's needed but I don't want you to rely on me. You need to learn that while those of you can be beneficial to you, you can't always rely on them. You need to rely on your own strength, and even if it's out of character for you to take charge and be assertive, part of you needs to be ready to do just that. Use me as if I'm your underling, nothing more." He instructed further as they began walking into the thicker part of the forest. He was sure that Miku hadn't come prepared for this, that meant she needed to start thinking with her survival instincts. She would need food and water to survive the weekend, shelter beyond the little sleeping bags Thunder had brought with him, and some kind of safety net to protect herself from the ones hunting her.

This sucked, it was for real, Miku's solace was that at least Thunder was there to help, but then he gone on to say that he wont help more then he has to. Which to Miku sounded vague.
Thunder then asked about her electro bulb, Miku then answered his question which made Thunder like get an idea for later. She frowned a bit when she heard that they were in the open and that they're being stalked, she's reminded of this grim situation. What made matters worse was that Thunder told her that she wont follow him, she will instead take charge and lead the way. She also hates the fact that he actually made a few very good points. Its a good, albeit extreme way for Miku to become more independent.
She did smile just a wee bit when he said "Use me as if Im your underling", the thought of bossing the mighty Thundershock around was an amusing thought. Ok that kinda calmed down down. She can just imagine herself as the Boss who has the strongest grunt ever.
They started walking into the thicker part of the forest: Miku thought what to do. There were certain abilities she didnt master, mostly because she couldnt do that at UA. As they walked she just rubbed her temples as she thought and thought, pondered and strategised. Usually her plans never worked out which was disheartening. But dammit she had to think. As she walked she opened her fanny pack and grabbed a few plant seeds. She considered like dropping piece by piece to make a trail and maybe activate her Quirk if someone followed them. But she was hesitant and decided not to. She thought what could she do as they walked to the thick part of forest. They needed to try and find like a place to be their base camp. And from there just hold the fort and survive.

Post by Goro Utari on Sept 29, 2019 21:37:17 GMT -4
Now, Goro had been involved in a lot of bizarre things since his return to Japan. A go-kart race gone wrong, killer haunted house animatronics, hijacking a TV station, breaking his brother out of prison, the list goes on. However, none could possibly reach what he’d been paid to do this time.
Someone putting a hit out on themself. If that wasn’t weird enough, Thundershock himself was the one who’d done so. This, of course, meant Goro was offered a great sum of money for it, but that reward came with a horrid risk. He’d been told it was for training one of Thunder’s many children, but to fight to kill, so he expected Thunder and his kid to respond in kind.
In truth, there was no way he’d be able to bring himself to actually kill either if it came down to it; top villain or not, Izumi would still be upset. With Thunder, it was unlikely that it would ever come down to that, but Goro couldn’t put the thought out of his mind all the same.
This would’ve been the perfect time to test out the plasma knife he’d stolen months ago, but unfortunately it was still on the fritz. Nari’s acid must’ve spilt onto it and burned right through the circuits. At least everything else was in working order.
He’d been hidden in a tree for a while now, listening to Thunder intently. The wind whistled idly by, making enough of a sound rustling the grass that he could feel Thunder’s body displacing each blade. Bold of him to be sleeping outside like that. The little sadistic voice in the back of Goro’s head told him to pounce at that moment, to draw a nice red line across Thunder’s neck, but he held back. Sure, he’d be taking out the number one villain, but he’d have probably half the criminals in Tokyo on his ass for it. Not worth it.
He’d expected Thunder’s kid to look like a hardened criminal, or at the very least a delinquent, but the girl that came out looked nothing of the sort. In fact… Wasn’t that a girl who’d taken part in UA’s Sports Festival? Miku, her name was. Seemed like Izumi wasn’t the only student associating with villains without hesitation. He’d be more shocked that Thunder’s spawn had made their way into a hero school, if Nick hadn’t already proven that was possible.
When the two had left into the forest, Goro slipped from his perch and took to the skies. His shadow stretched wide across the canopy, fighting through the trees to just barely reach the ground behind the pair. This, and the quiet flap of his wings, were the only signs they were being pursued at all.
Patience would be key here. They’d be out here for the whole weekend, after all. No sense in getting himself injured right away.

They walked in the forest, as they walked Miku thought that first they needed to find a place where they will stay, like their camp or better yet, their base. And from there on out they would just have to hold the fort. Miku as she walked looked for a good place, deep in the forest while Thunder just followed her lead, god this was weird.
Eventually, she stopped and looked around "Yeah... this place is good. Yep... this will be our base" she then looked at Thunder "Am I allowed to know how much people we're against or do I just like have to go with it" Miku asked Thunder, but all in all, chances were he wouldnt tell her. That would suck
If he did withold information, she would just sigh and say "Well... whatever the case, Im not gonna run. So.... yeah, we set up and rest now, and then during night we start our hunt!" Miku said excitedly, but also really quietly
She was gonna become the hunter and not the hunter. They would survive the night and this weekend. And they would catch whoever was hunting them. And Miku being a lil horror enthusiast she is thought about spooking their enemy(ies) before dealing with them, because yeah psychological warfare is a thing.

Thunder was walking along with his hands in his pockets, acting the pack mule in this scenario as he carried the largest bag that had the most supplies they would need for the evening. He remained quiet, seeming calm as he followed her though in truth his eyes were darting left and right. His senses were on high alert, his electricity casting an immediate field around him that would let him detect any disturbance to the flow of his electricity once they stepped in range. He would be alerted to their presence, but until Miku asked him to keep an eye out, he wouldn't tell her.
She soon came to a stop, looking around and announcing that this was where they would make camp, or their base rather. He supposed it was as good a place as any... a little more open than he would have liked meaning their resources would be spread thin defending themselves... but that was the point of this exercise wasn't it. He looked up to Miku whenever she then asked him about how many people were coming after them and the man gave a light shrug of his shoulders.
"Not sure truthfully. I hired 1, though I didn't give them a limit on how many others they could bring." He stated truthfully, setting his pack on the ground he'd unbuckle the sleeping bags then toss one over towards Miku, having assumed she didn't guess the extent of his training.
"Moving at night hunh, might be tricky but a good plan. Although, sometimes standing your ground isn't always the smartest idea, pending the situation of course. I do want to see how strong you are of course, but I also want to see how resourceful you can be." He indicated as he would then sit himself back down into the grass, prying his bag open to reveal what he's brought along. Most stuff was wrapped up in cloth so Miku wouldn't be able to identify it, but he'd brought along some food in the form of Jerky which was small and easy for them to carry. He retrieved a pack then offered it over to Miku.
"You'll need to eat if you want to keep your strength up." He indicated, graciously sharing the dried meat. The two would then spend some time talking over Miku's plan, but soon the pair would find themselves resting, readying to strike in the... 'safety' of the night.
Good thing she didn't know they were up against a bat.

They kept walking, and Goro followed. While he watched them with his eyes, his focus with his echolocation was elsewhere, analyzing the wilderness around him. Points where the canopy of trees gave way to clearings; branches that would serve as good look-out points; dried leaves and fallen branches that might give his position away should he drop to the floor; anything that could give him an advantage.
When they came to a stop, Goro glided on for a moment longer, before landing on a tree branch he’d scouted earlier. It would keep him in hearing distance of their camp, while obscuring him from view with foliage. Unless one of them had been blessed with an extra sense like him, he’d be well hidden.
He could just about hear what they were saying, and he shook his head slowly as the kid talked. She really was under the impression that the night would offer her safety, that her pursuer would be attacking during the day. And Thundershock wasn’t correcting her either. As a matter of fact, he was encouraging her to go through with it. The only information he gave was that Goro was on his lonesome, and that didn’t threaten to compromise his plan at all. So far, so good.
They’d brought food, and so had Goro, but he’d travelled light. Anything that wouldn’t fit into the storage of his suit, he left behind, so he’d need to start hunting for himself sooner rather than later. But for now, the dried mango pack he’d brought along would do. He chewed it slowly, his helmet pushed up to expose his mouth. Though, was the girl referring to hunting for food, or hunting for him? If it was the latter, he’d need to be cautious. Even the former might prove problematic for him, if she was on the lookout for birds. At least he’d eaten before leaving, so he wasn’t hungry. Yet.
Now that they’d stopped, he could go right now, get the drop on them and test the kid to see what she could do, but the time still wasn’t just right. Fighting Thunder was the last thing he wanted, and there was no way the father and daughter duo would stick together the entire night. He just needed to sit and wait until they split up, and then go for her first.

As their little assassin got closer and close enough to listen in their conversation, he could probably see that not only Miku looked like a petite student that was at that Sports Festival, but her outfit was a little bit too similiar to someone he knew, someone he worked with. Meiko. Indeed, Goro could recognize that look, Miku's outfit just lacked the hat, the bandana and the necklace. Not only was she with Thunder, but she had some mysterious ties to Lavender. Although that was a story for another time. Moving back from Blackouts vantage point, we go to Miku and Thunder
Miku nodded as she listened how Thunder said he hired 1 guy. Very well, then for now she will worry as if they are against 1 really strong guy as opposed to multiple weaklings. She will adjust her strategy as she goes. No need to worry about an army if there is no evidence of one being here. Besides, Miku was safe, and not because of Thunder, but because of the location.
Miku told Thunder how she wanted to hunt and not be the hunted. Thunder said its a tricky but a good plan. Which was good to hear as she didnt tell Thunder what else he had up her sleeve. Thunder spoke how standing ground isnt always the smartest idea. Miku didnt worry though "We're gonna be fine. We're in my domain now" Miku said as she used her Quirk to manipulate all the plants, trees and foreast area around them. She made all the trees and leaves rumble and shake rather ominously just to display her power and range. Ironically, the little assassin who was probably in the 30m range of Miku also found himself on a tree or a branch that was also shaking and moving ominously and unnaturally, it was hard for him to stay stable there.
Once Miku made her point that they were fine, all TOO fine, she just accepted the sleeping bag and put it down on the ground. Thunder then offered it to Miku, she thanked him and took it. But didnt eat it. She approached him and whispered "We're fine on food too. Im more worried about water and drinks. I need hydration for my Quirk to work. So aside for hunting our prey, we need to make sure we have drinks"
Miku like a plant stood her ground, she didnt wanna be hunted, but to strike back she needed water. It was something no one should and could know. Although before anything happened, she had to quietly ask Thunder "Can your zap Quirk charge phones?" A seemingly unrelated question, but for Miku's crazy plan, it was a must. How can she be a stylish figter if she didnt have a theme song playing. I mean if Geist can do it, so can Miku. Besides, who says action music has to play. Maybe it can be horror ambience to set the tone for the hunt. Yeah, Miku was excited and energized for this. One thing was sure, she had plenty of adrenaline.
TLDR: -Step 1 of a creepy ambience, the forest rustles, trees shake and move in an ominous and unnatural way, showing Miku's max Quirk range. 30m radius

'I wonder if he recruited help or not~ I never really specified he needed to do this on his own. And if he did get reinforcements... who~' Thunder mused as the pair would set up shop. The man would do very little beyond offering her the sleeping bag and the food, not even offering to start a fire or build them any form of shelter. That's how much he wanted Miku to take command of this. To his dismay however, no such order came. Instead she chose to make a bit of a display using her quirk, shaking the environment around them to get her point across.
He would let a small laugh escape his lips as he set out his own sleeping bag then flopping back onto his back, bringing his arms up behind his head much in the same way Miku had first found him when they began this treck. he would look over to her though with a raised eyebrow when she came to whisper her questions to him, nodding he would smirk before answering.
"I'm pretty sure I saw a creek nearby if we wanted to get some water, and yeah my quirk can do that for you. Easy." He responded, his voice low though not as low of a whisper as hers had been. he would just flash her a smirk, waiting for any further orders like the dumb grunt he was playing.
"So what do we do here, boss?"

Now he was getting a closer look at his target for the weekend, Goro noticed just how familiar her outfit was. While it was missing a few of the decorative elements, it was incredibly similar to Lavender’s usual outfit. As someone with less than no knowledge of fashion, Goro had no idea if this was an actual link, or merely a trendy sort of outfit that both were into. With that in mind, he shrugged it off.
He just barely caught the girl mentioning they were in ‘her domain’, and had just started wondering to himself what that meant when the tree he was on suddenly began writhing beneath him, as if it wanted him off. For a brief, terrifying second, he thought she’d got him nailed already, and flew off the branch he’d been perched on, but the sound of the other trees shaking in much the same way around him deconfirmed that. It was a frightening show of power all the same. He’d had to figure out some way to separate her from her precious plants.
After that, she started whispering. Again, he wondered if she knew he was there, but she hadn’t done anything to suggest she really did. He could just barely make out the vague sounds of whispering, but it was far too quiet to understand. Goro clicked his tongue in annoyance.
He landed on a tree closer to the clearing when they were done with their intimidating dance, close enough that he just about made out Thunder’s reply. Water, and he was using his quirk for something? Goro braced himself against the branch, just in case that ‘something’ meant conjuring a lightning bolt aimed right for him.
Were they going to sleep first, or head for the creek? Goro watched and waited, ready to take off the moment they did.

Miku was satisfied by his answer and by him calling her Boss, she'd have this huge smile on her face "Next order is to kick Nick in the nads" Miku thought to herself as she wanted to say that, but thats an order for another time. She had to be serious "Go get water. If you're hungry then eat. If you have any wishes, then ask away" Miku said
There was also that thing thats called a campfire but Miku wasnt hot on that idea. Fire would mean not only warmth, but light. Also where theres smoke, theres fire, thus the bad guys would find the duo, if they werent found out already. If Thunder didnt ask if they can have fire, Miku wasnt gonna give it to him nor order him to do it. She liked this darkness. It was incredible what the power of adrenaline can do to a girl like her. She was hyped to order Thunder around, she was hyped to have an actual battle in a forest, in her domain where she isnt weakened by urban areas. She can finally show the world her Quirk is not weak. No no. It was just nerfed and weakened. Other classmates were able to shine in that enviroment, but not her. Their best advice was to carry a potted plant. Yeah right as if she's a lunatic. And the other advice was to carry dirt with her, whats worst that she had to resort to such pathetic ways. But not here. Everything was abundent. "The first villain I see. Imma flex my true power on him and then Imma hog tie him and drag him to the police after this weekend. And then I'll tell the police that.... errr...Yellow... Jacket did this.... yeah" Miku thought to herself
Once Thunder hopefully went to get her water. She casually started to mark their camp area and setting their perimiters by planting some seeds that were actually gonna be traps. Although, she forgot to get Thunders scent, which was an oopsie. She needs to teach some of the plants to not attack Thunder. Thats why she didnt grow them yet. While Thunder was gone, she also gathered her energy to prepare to grow a special plant that would serve as their aereal erm,... spy... yeah
