Character: Shimizu Haruto
Starting Prompt: Having been around for quite some time now, and having been involved in numerous site events, Haruto still has a relatively low-key existence. Each time, he has been overshadowed by others, his own abilities never truly having the chance to be displayed- With the exception of the sports festival, in which he displayed a remarkable talent for rescue operations. It’s about time he proved his own competence- To himself, if no one else. And the internship program, just might provide the backdrop he needs.
Story Beats: Under the guidance of an internship mentor, Haruto will participate in a 'real' rescue operation, as opposed to the simulated ones he has experienced at UA. Because it is under the guidance of a mentor, he will be allowed to use his quirk outside of UA- And prove to them, that he has the talent to be a Hero.
• Get involved in a serious rescue operation, either solo or as a part of the group.
• The operation should specifically challenge the areas in which Haruto's skills are aligned: His quirk's purification abilities and defensive nature, his medical skills, and his as-yet-unused flight ability.
• In the course of the operation, Haruto should have the chance to realize that he is not as useless as he has seemed during past events.
NPCs Involved: Unless a PC villain would be willing to act as a foil, an NPC would likely be required to set up the scenario in which the rescue operation occurs. In order for Haruto to use his quirk outside of the school setting, this must occur under the setting of the internship program- As such, if all PC mentors are engaged, an NPC mentor may be necessary.
End-Goal: Haruto should grow to recognize that his skills have grown, and that he is no longer an insignificant force compared to his past self. In addition, to set up for a future saga regarding (hopefully) obtaining a provisional license and graduating early from UA.
Notables: With regards to his future saga, I should speak to a moderator or admin about what should be done to set up for this case, as both provisional licenses and early graduation are untreaded waters. As NPCs may be necessary, I should discuss with a storyteller. In addition, I should contact available internship mentors to find one who would be willing to support this saga.
