Character: Savage
Starting Prompt: Since coming to Japan Savage's constant wandering has made it extremely difficult to stay hidden, mostly due to the fact that anytime Savage is out long enough he inevitably succumbs to boredom and when Savage is bored... Well... Dead bodies are usually the least of anyone's concerns. It's gotten to such an incredible point of tension between him and Jean that during one of their many arguments over Savage's "adventures" that he made the unfortunate mistake of exclaiming "WHY DON'T YOU GO BECOME A FUCKING BOXER!" before quickly silencing himself.
This unfortunate outburst would spark a fire in Savage, a fire that Jean spent the better part of sixteen long years trying to put out and never once succeeding, the flame of competition. Before Jean could even attempt to stop the maelstrom he unleashed on the world he was already gone, he set off with a new goal in mind to obtain a professional boxing license. Both to give him some semblance of entertainment between the various schemes of the Vagabonds and to see the very best Japan had to offer, after all not all of the best fighters are wanton murderers or wannabe martyrs, the best of the best are those with a one-minded drive to only improve. Where else better to look then the boxing circuit?
Story Beats: Savage will be entering the Boxing circuit under an alter-ego that he refers to as "Brute" or will be publicly known as "Oki Otoko" a freakishly massive humble mystery figure with horrible burns that force him to shield his face while he's outside of the ring with a hockey mask out of his own personal embarrassment.
While mundane things like getting his boxing license can be hand-waved to happening in the background there's two main beats.
-Savage starting off with an easy first opponent who with his quirk and experience he defeats with a rather surprising amount of ease launching him on the path of a rising star in the Japanese boxing scene as destructive menace. The details of the boxer can be up to a storyteller.
-After a slew of easy victories Savage finds himself approaching the top of the rankings, being lulled into a sense of security content in his mind that no one in the Japanese scene could really challenge him he finds himself surprised when in a match he finds a boxer who can fight him tit-for-tat and actually forces him to try. Someone who can challenge and even put him on the ropes.
NPCs Involved: About two boxers played by storytellers if possible, for his coach I plan on making one of the Vagabonds it to add a little flair.
End-Goal: A national ranking in boxing, this is just to cement it for future plots and maybe in a later saga Savage will aim higher to fight a certain someone for the belt after he gets his martial arts high enough.
Notables: If you haven't figured out yet I've been plotting this with Darren, I think it'll be a neat speed vs brawn fight in the future potentially. I do plan on him aiming for the national championship but if he gets it is up in the air.
Completed Saga: None
