In the park as the cool air of the late day wind blew about. Creating a comfortable atmosphere to those around. A few people here and there walking about and enjoying their day at the park like so many did on such days. A great few of them as well in full families in some cases. Now and again it had been a place where a person or two had also come out in a small display at times. People often reacting happily to small magic displays or bits of music. Perry curious being that he is decided to attempt something similar. Wondering if the humans would be more kind in reaction to him in such a display as they seemed to be to others of their kind. He had great speed and strength when he needed it too so he wasn't really to worried about any fallout that may have come either should it have taken a bad turn. He had full faith he could escape rather easily if truly needed. He had eventually emerged from the foliage and grass plopping himself down near the edge of the walkway path many could take on their path through the park. Perry plopping down on a chair fashioned out of a shortened torn down paper cup to be small enough to be a seat for him. He'd brought one of his small Banjo's with him fashioned for his size. His mind made making such things and invention creation rather easy if not childsplay for himself. He snorted a bit as his round ears perked and he plucked a few cords as he began singing and playing a cold if not sad somber song. The sound nice but also somewhat sad coming from his little throat. He playing a small song as he pondered like it sang his life. Knowing he likely wouldn't live as long as a human but the scientist when he was a captive had made mention due to his quirk and what they'd also done to him he'd have a much lengthier life then a normal one of his species. As to how long? who could say. He simply enjoyed the moment curious who might take notice or take interest in the current display he was giving for those who would wonder in or around the small surrounding area where he played his small instrument. |

Yui had decided to check out a popular spot in the city a lot of the kids at U.A were talking about, it was a pretty sprawling park covered in beautiful greenery that was starting to change into fall colors. She loved looking at the foliage of the park, it reminded her of the peaceful times of home, would she want to go back? No not really since this new world was much more interesting and exciting! There were all kinds of people here with interesting lives and backgrounds! She was learning a million new things! Like possums here can play the banjo when they could not at home! She thought to herself as she walked passed the little possum- WAIT THE POSSUMS HERE CAN PLAY INSTRUMENTS?! Needless to say the girl was thrown for a loop and had no idea where the heck she landed!
She walked up to the possum and just sat down, watching him in amazement. Possums where Yui was from where really irritating pests, she always found them cute but she didn't like how they'd sneak into her house and try to steal her snacks. If they just asked they could have some! She waited for him to finish watching him play music intently as she laid on the grass observing him too, she always did like possum despite her mom's disdain for them. She found them goofy looking and she was never allowed a pet either so that only added more fuel to the burning desire of her own little possum. Once he was done she would sit there and applaud his performance! "Wow! You're really good at that! Can you show me?" she said playing along, obviously not expecting an answer from him, for he was just a possum. A really talent possum but a possum nonetheless. "Do you wanna come home with me lil guy? I'd feed you and take care of you." she said patting him on the head.

Perry watched the girl that approached for a time seemingly watching with beady little eyes that gave little image if he was anything other then a average possum. This obviously to a extent couldn't be true though given his tiny fingers were currently plucking the tiny strings on his small proportional banjo. His little fingers even seemed to pluck them with a skill more then your average person. The odd sight had caught a few eyes but none more focused as the small girl that seemed truly interested.
His small snoot wiggled in the sky after she spoke to him. Curious at first as his tail wiggled lightly behind him lightly from side to side as he briefly thought on her words. An important thing to note about Perry was while he was a hyper intelligent creature. His mind still looked at things from the perspective of one of his species. Things he'd be presented with, ideas, and actions, did not all register the same as that of a human would receive them.
He gave the girl a small nod pleased she seemed to enjoy his performance and tipped the hat he didn't have in her direction in gesture. Although the idea of being taken care of didn't spark joy, But the idea of being fed... well this idea always did spark joy. "Well... I mean, I do like some snacks. But I have many homes! I am a wandering soul... But mostly thanks to the restrictions of your human government and silly laws! But I shall prevail over these with time." He'd say giving her a smirk as he'd spin his banjo around to his back the device hanging from his shoulder via a small strap.
"I can show you if you want yea, This ol thing I made, It has history from the place my people are from naturally! But alas I was born here in this country... But still heritage is heritage!" He'd say making some conversation giving her a small little wink of his beady little black eye.

Yui had quite thoroughly enjoyed the show that Perry had put on in the park, it was enjoyable. However what did not spark joy for Yui was when Perry had talked back to her. She looked at him, stunned. OPOSSUMS WERE NOT MEANT TO SPEAK BACK. She fell back from surprise, her young mind wondering if Perry was actually a demon that her mom always warned her about. She backed up a bit quickly, giving him a stare of fear but perry might think it was her playing around cause honestly the way her face contorted was kind of funny looking.
Soon right after, just as quickly as she had appeared, Yui had disappeared. She blasted off using her quirk to help her move, leaving a dust cloud behind her as she ran. A faint "AHHHHHHHHHhhh" noise could be heard as the girl ran off into the distance, on lookers would be extremely confused as they only see a little girl running away from a possum and considered calling the police on her for using her quirk since it was not a life or death situation...but then quickly gave up on it since it at least looked like she wasn't causing harm..She did however give many nasty stares and disgusted looks which she paid no mind to.
However little did Yui know, this would not be the last time that she ran into the little talking possum who can play the banjo really well.
