all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ So many things have been going on, it was like running wild, the fact that they had considered a gym a month ago and how that was set into motion, how her books were set into motion and that she would have to prepare for a meet and greet sort of thing at the bookstore and her mind just felt like a blank canvas, a blank paper, she had no idea what she thought, where her thoughts were how she had put things on paper and so on. She simply felt: empty. Not in a specifically bad way, it surely was okay to sometimes catch a moment of rest, she was so glad that she had that spot at home and that she felt okay and that it seemed to be okay. So now that they had again as usual in the midweek days have the house for themselves, they as in her fiancé and herself had decided for another date night. She had not had the capability to leave Kai behind somewhere, there was no hospital and even if she trusted Haruuhi and Miku, she did not want to leave Kai's side now that they were home. She had done one afternoon, which was a lot shorter than a whole evening in her mind, and at that point G was home and she trusted him for obvious reasons and she wanted him to have time with the baby, that's why he was bringing Kai to bed at this point. She was making nothing too difficult, just sandwiches with some great marinaded meat in different flavours, she just had to keep her mind on the stove to not burn it, it were small, thin slices and she would just wait for G to come back downstairs. She fixed a salad for herself to put next to them and turned to see if they had beer in the house and a bottle of wine. She quickly turned off the stove, placed the platters on the table that was about the only thing she had taken with her together with her make-up table and that she got from her aunt and uncle, whom obviously supported her and Gil after he came to them in the middle of the night when she had called him. She fixed the glasses, candles and took a deep breath. She hoped that it would just be a great evening together. |

G and Hana were gonna have dinner together, but before that could be done, G had to put the baby boy to bed. He needed some na na. Aka he needed to sleep. But just leaving him alone it was so hard. He fully understood why Hana felt that way with Kai. Who wouldnt. Once the little one went to sleep. G gently kissed him on the forehead and went over to Hana.
Arriving there, he saw that she had everything ready. And also... well... she was dreamy. She always was, and always is. Every second looking at her, she was just getting hotter and hotter. One day, G felt that he just wont be able to keep his hands off of her. He walked over to Hana and kissed her on the cheek "Goooood evening dear. Ready for our lil dinner?" he asked, and then he went to sit at the table, he just had to compliment her on her fine work, even if it was simple, it was perfect to G.
After all, he prefered something light and simple for casual home dinners. He didnt like cooked and complicated stuff, that was just too formal, where this was nice and perfect

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ Her long hair swayed as she sort of danced through the kitchen, her elegant movement, which was based on dancing because she had a song in her head, was what made her hair sway from left to right at the same rhythm of her hips and the hem of her skirt, yes she had dressed up for the occasion, even if she was home, even if it was not necessary, she had wanted to. She hummed a little when she finished putting everything on the table, she looked around to see if she had done everything, she was not looking at the time because it was not important, she knew exactly where G was and there was no need to think how long it would take, she just was busy anywhere, cleaning up the things in the dishwasher what they did not need anymore for tonight. She tapped a bit of the beer in the glass that she put down and some of her red wine in her glass and went to clean up the bottle again, she did not want to drink too much for so many reasons.
As she stood with her back to the door that would go to the foyer she had not heard him coming in, humming the song softly under her breath, she jumped a little up when he held her and kissed her on the cheek. She turned around in his arms, she wasn't scared because she felt secure and safe when he was in the house and around her so she had not expected anyone else. She smiled up at him, her hands empty and she wrapped them loosely around his neck, "Almost," She said softly as she kissed him first before letting go and let him walk to the table.
She grinned a little when he gave her another compliment and she looked at him, so much love holding for him and she couldn't stop smiling, "I am glad, now I hope it taste well too." She herself would try the salad first and put that on her plate before trying to make a little sandwich, she first took a sip of her wine. She wasn't sure where to start talking about, the gym was doing fine, they knew that as they both worked there. "How are you feeling?" She looked giddy, excited, she loved the idea of simply having a date-night at home, nothing better at the moment. |

Hana shortly kissed him, then she let him go and let him walk to the table. Seeing it, he compliented how it looks great. She said she hopes it will taste well as well. G smiled and said "I'm sure it will. After all, its made by you"
He sat down and together they started to eat. Hana asked how is he feeling, she was so giddy and excited. Meanwhile he had Nimues words in his mind
"I'm happy" he said, not letting the worry show on his face. He didnt wanna ruin tonight, she was happy. Could it wait another night. Would there be an opening to say it. Oh! Maybe he could create one. Yeah! No need to make drama, he can do this. Breathe. Inhale and exhale.
And thats what he tried
"Kai is fast asleep. You're here. What can be better?" he said, but then tried to add the thing. Maybe discreetly sprinkle or spark the subject. "You know. I dont know how you do it. Kai is such a fragile lil angel, so nice and small and... sensitive. I swear you have to have magic hands to keep him nice and safe" G said and ate his meal.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She always felt happy when he flattered her and she smiled continuously thanks to Gil and she took a sip of her wine and watched him and took her fork to take a little bite after her sip of wine and looked up as she went to ask how he was feeling and she was just happy, glad still every god damn day that she was home and she looked up when he said that he was happy and that made her smile even more. "I am glad." Because that was what they were trying to reach right? Happiness for all of them, and especially after their breakdown, the incident and so on, thank god Nimue helped a lot and Kai was doing fine and so on. She tilted her head a little to the left and frowned a little when he started and she munched on the food, wondering what more he would say or if that was it, but she would nod though, because yes what could be better.
She frowned a little when he started again, you know what? Do what? She was a little flabbergasted and you could see that, she looked with a silent question displayed on her face, her food still on her fork but not moving it and yet a small smile appeared on her lips when he called Kai a lil angel and she nodded again, sensitive yea, she made a little giggle when he said that she had magic hands before she noticed it was a question, "Baby, are you worried you can't do that?" She frowned and worried about him, she thought everything was going fine, "Who brought our little angel to bed without much issue?" She had not asked him if that had gone right, because she did not want to give him the feeling that she did not trust him and that she believed in him and he could do it. "Honey, he loves you, have you seen him when you played music and he looks at you so often, you are doing wonderful, baby and I know you will protect both of us and be a wonderful example for him." She wasn't sure what she was doing, did she have to convince him, or did she see things that weren't there and she bit her lip, "I am sorry." Okay maybe she was a bit stressed when it came to it, she was sure he wasn't thinking that way, right? |

Hana then picked up on G's worry, which made him childishly drown a bit. It was like a childish mini frown of sadness, because he didnt want Hana to pick up on that. She then, like a true mother asked, who brought Kai to bed. G then childishly answered "Mee"
She continued saying how Kai loved him, how he loved the lullaby ukulele music, how he looks at G. She reassured him that he was doing wonderful work, she knew he'd protect them both and she reassured him how he will be a good example, a good role model for him. It was something that made G look up for his meal and smile a bit.
But then she bit her lip and apologized
"N-no! Dont be sorry!" G said gently and reached out for her because he didnt want her to feel bad. He sighed and spoke up honestly. "I'm trying my best to be good. But.. Im still so scared. Like..." he had to say it "I had an anxiety attack. Back there at the hospital, at the first time I held Kai" he was getting sad now "I was so happy, I held my son for the first time. For the first time I touched him, had physical contact with him. I was happy my boy was alive and well... and then Haruuhi suddenly moved my arm and told me I held him wrong... and thats where I realized, he really had a hard time breathing. I-I was hurting him while I was just smiling like a dolt. I- I couldnt handle that. I had to... not let you all see me that way. I'm scared of hurting Kai, and I know what you just said how Im good and capable. But every time I hold Kai, I have this like duality. On one hand, Im happy to hold him and spend time with him. On the other hand, Im scared shitless that I dont hurt him or that I dont break down and have another anxiety attack. I wanna do this right... but Im scared. There was even a time I avoided Kai and gave him to you. I-I dunno what to do. I dont know how to get over it" he spoke to her

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She wasn't sure what she should do, how stupid was it that she never noticed that he was freaking out by that. Had she drowned it out? Did she forget, she did remember, once he spoke she would remember how he had given her their baby and walked out, how Miku had asked if they should not follow and she had said to wait about it. But so many things had been in her own mind and those had only calmed down once she shared them with G and when she did heal of her own wounds and once she did resign for her job at Metropolitan and how everything went their way with what they original planned and that the bills were doing fine and their new job was doing fine and oh she had put him aside and she felt guilty and she bit her lip and apologized. She was a bad partner, she should have known, she should have paid attention and ask before but now.
She had to apologize for her lack of noticing, for everything, oh she felt so bad about it and she wanted to cry but she did not, it was't about her and she wouldn't be so selfish even if he reached out for her, she reluctantly gave her hand. She nodded, she had not expected it to be that bad but she remembered, an anxiety attack, oh my. She looked at the expression on his face and she only felt more worried, he looked sad! no, they should be happy. They were doing okay, he was fine, they were fine but she held still and still held his hand while biting her lip. She nodded, he was happy, but he said was, that was a bad thing. She let go of his hand and stared at him.
She stood up and walked around their table and simply pulled him in an embrace, while she remained standing and him sitting, pulling him in her arms. "We all have to learn and its difficult, I agree with that." Because they had no one to ask, no one to know if they were doing it right, "The nurse told me how to do it, but I did it not immediately right the first few times either." She whispered, she just had not let it bother her in that way because she wanted Kai in her arms every second of the day when she still believed he was dying or could die, she was so so scared of that, that nothing else could cross her mind. "It just takes time and there will be times when we can't prevent him from getting hurt but he will bounce back and just it will be fine." She did not know what else to say, it hurt her that he was so scared and still scared, "I think all you could do baby, is try it, every little step helps to see that you are not doing it wrong, you will be great and we both need you." She definitely needed him, she would whisper that too, how much she needed him at the hospital every day, how she hated it there. She did not want to think about that period, she suppressed it every day and yet now she had to talk about it. She did hate it but she would do everything to make sure G did not feel like... like... there were no words for it but she brushed his hair softly, held him still in her arms, smothering him with the love she could offer, kissing him on the head before letting go and looking in his dark coloured eyes. |

The first thing Hana did was apologize. Then she stood up and walked around the table and simply pulled him in a hug. G got teary eyed because of that kind gesture and hugged her back. Hana spoke words of encouragment, which did bring G to his senses.
She brushed his hair softly, they held eachother in their arms, they smothered eachother with the love and they kissed. After which G spoke. "Y- You're right. I'm sorry I worried you" he apologized to Hana for his actions. He didnt want her to dwell on his issues. So he gently pulled her in, to sit in his lap "What about you though? Anything you wanna talk about. I'm all ears for you. I dont want this evening to be just about me and my issues."
He asked Hana if she had any problems, he wanted to help her if she had anything. While he did reveal his foes and feelings to Hana, he just felt guilty about it now. This is exactly why he kept it secret, he didnt wanna burden Hana. But now that he did this, the least he could do is return the favour if she needed anything

Showing that she did. She wasn't sure what she could do more, she was worried that she had screwed up too much without noticing or asking him before if he was doing fine, it's been almost a month that she was out of the hospital and she had not asked him, she had not asked him for a second how she was doing. Self-absorbed, why were the- no. Not those thoughts. "Don't apologize for that, I want to worry about you, I want to help, if I can." Ooh, he pulled her so she sat on his lap with her back slightly against the table and she looked up to him. "But the evening can be about all you, baby we always only look after me. That's not the deal in a relationship, it is allowed to take your time and worry and talk about you, don't apologize or feel bad about that." She was worried, she was worried she screwed up that feeling that he should not show his emotions or that, that was how the world formed him.
What were her fears? What were her thoughts? She was afraid, very afraid that it would go bad again, she did not think he would leave her, she did not even think he would force her into another pregnancy or anything, she was afraid that she would build too much and burn bridges and break down walls again because of her flair of drama, but she simply bit her lip, she would not tell him that. "I want to do everything, so you feel confident." That was all that mattered, she was sure of it. |

Hana told him not to apologize, she wants to worry about him, help him. That made him teary eyed. He pulled her in his lap, he kissed Hana, her neck. And then he broke the kiss and looked at her, he wanted to speak up, but Hana spoke sooner, she said that the evening can be about him, that they only look after her and thats not the deal in a relationship, its allowed to take time and worry about him and he doesnt need to apologize "Wow" he spoke.
It took him a moment to process that "I'm speechless. I'm.. I'm not used to this stuff. I tend to try to take care of my issues by myself because I never wanna worry you. I always try to be the best partner. I.." how can he word it? "I feel bad about... you know what. And I wanna make up for it. I wanna make up for that sin... that... 'happy little accident'" he glanced at the direction of Kai's room, then he looked back at Hana, a bit saddened "Thats why I went through extra effort. You gave birth at the hospital, you felt sad and miserable and I just wanted to make you happy. I just care about that. I wanna see you smile. I want you to feel loved and unburdened by anything. I always try my best to be your perfect fiance, but Im always scared to mess up. I love you Hana. I love you so much. I just wanna give you a perfect life. Thats why I never wanted you to worry about me" G said, tying to hold back his tears as he explained everything to Hana and revealed more of his feelings

She worried about him, a lot actually, every time he went out to patrol and she was afraid he might not return to her. Not after what she had seen in the hospital, she had stressed so much, worried so much and they were not even together. She tried to hide it, not wanting to stop him from being a Vigilante, doing something he thought was good. He had not wanted to listen when she vouched for that license. She was afraid that, that what he was doing wasn't say. She had to say something though, even if he distracted her with the kisses, she had to be a good and loyal future wife, she had to tell him what she thought and what she wanted to do and anything in her power that she could do. She looked at him, worried, all he said was wow. She tilted her head a little, worry clearly visible in her eyes when he said that he was speechless and he wasn't used to this stuff. This stuff in her mind probably the fact that she showed she cared and that he can take that time and so on. She frowned even more when he said he felt bad about you know what and she first thought it was the anxiety but than he went on and she bit her lip softly, she followed his look and she smiled a little as he looked at her so sad and moved her hand up to brush pieces of hair away from his forehead and she kissed him there while he talked. "Baby," She kissed him softly when he was done speaking, now it was her turn to be speechless. She had apologized so many times for her stupid behaviour, for her reckless moments, her running away but to hear his side, it was something she wanted, she wanted them to talk to each other. "Our happy little accident is a gift now, it's in the past what happened baby and we got over it and it's fine, it will not happen like that again and he is the most beautiful boy in the world and he has a father that cares so much about him, he will have a wonderful life." She kissed him when she was done speaking about that, "You are my perfect fiance, the man I always wanted, I love you Gil, and you can't ever stop me from doing so, but you can't give me a more perfect life, it will always have his down moments." She kissed him for a second time, "I hated being in the hospital, especially after I realized I wanted to be with you all the time." She kissed him for a third time, even more fiercely. "But that's in the past as well, we are here, all of us and we are together, safe and sound and that's all I can wish for." She kissed him for another time, the fourth but shortly and softly, before looking up again, "Please, always talk to me." |

Once Hana finished talking, G was such a crying mess because with each and every kiss he got more emotional and more teary eyed, and by the time Hana finished everything, he was just full on crying. He hugged her and spoke "I love you! I love you so much Hanako!!" he cried out as he hugged her and held her in his arms. He just couldnt imagine his life without her. He would be so lost without her. Kai was their gift, not his. He needed Hana. He needed everyone. He ... he just wants to give Hana anything and everything. She was just so amazing, that at this point he was at a loss for words, all he could do is hug and cry.

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She wasn't sure what to say now that she explained everything she herself thought and what she wanted to point out, supported by kisses, anything really. She wanted him to feel fine. She looked at him with only more worry when it seemed that he was crying and she brushed away every single tear that was on his cheeks and she held his cheeks by putting her hands softly on his jaw and worried, but on the other hand, he hugged her and hold her close. She gave a small smile and she kissed him again and again, everywhere on his silly face, his crying face. She loved him and let her be cradled in his arms, letting go of his face, nuzzling with her head under face. In the crock of his neck she felt comfortable how they fitted together so perfectly.
She kissed his lazily, "You are my everything, my hero, the love of my life." Everything, she whispered as she let him hold her, she was so happy now that everything seemed to be going fine. She let him hold her, be as close to him as possible and she wasn't sure what to do right now but be there. "I want you to feel fine, better than fine, honey you are amazing." She nuzzled further to him, forget their food, forget wherever they were, they were in the house, they wee in a perfect spot, she wasn't sure what more she could do, "Gil, I would do everything for you." She looked up from the hugging and snuggling and the worry was back in her eyes, "Anything I can do." He, what could she do for him, she wasn't sure, what everything she wanted to do. But she wasn't sure what to say anymore, she had said everything that she could say and could think of, she needed G to understand. |

He was speechless, what could he say after she said that and did that. G just squeezed Hana a little bit for a moment to indicate to her that he feels the same way with every word she said.
All he could do at this point was to hug her, cuddle her, nuzzle her, kiss her and love her. If he could he would make them elope right here and now. But no, he had to remain calm. Next year. No rush. He cant work on impulse, not anymore. As he was with Hana, kissing her, her lips, her neck, her everything, he soon noticed the food, which made him stop kissing. His gaze then turned back to Hana. He bit his lip, he wanted to apologize for dinner, but thats something Hana probably wouldnt wanna hear, so...
"I guess dinner is over? Should we clean up? Are you hungry?" he asked, he had to know should they clean the table, or if Hana ate enough. He didnt want her to starve. He just wanted to pamper and fulfil her every wish and need and want. He wanted to love her and do whatever it takes to make her happy

all the pieces lie where they fell... ♥ She smiled satisfied, closed her eyes and believed that she had done an okay job, she could survive as a fiance, no, as his fiance and she wanted him to know that as well and she wanted to make sure of all things that he was okay, and that he would talk to her. She sat upright again because G remained quiet and she looked him into his dark coloured eyes, "What are you thinking?" She whispered, no idea that he tried to remain calm, no ruse and so on. But instead of getting an answer he kissed her, on her lips, on her neck, everywhere and she giggled a little because it seemed he was doing a little bit better now.
She had her eyes closed but opened them when he stopped kissing her and the look on his face looked like one of regret and her eyes turned a little bit bigger and than, he simply spoke about dinner and she took a deep breath and sighed, "I was afraid there was something wrong that was a bit more important than dinner." She said with a laugh and nuzzled him. "I am okay, we can pack it and put it in the fridge for later." But it wasn't important now, "For now it's more important that you feel well." She sat up straighter on his lap and put her hands on his shoulders, softly making a rotating motion with her thumbs. A massage worked better if she was behind him but she did not want to leave right now, "Anything." She said softly because she would do anything to make him feel better tonight. |
