Hideki once again explained that he lived in a very formal surrounding, thus he had a hard time liking of fittin in this place. Yeah, Miku can understand what he meant. He did eventually choose some pants, but insisted that she help him with a shirt, and said that he really wants to buy something to make an effort, because she means a lot to him. That just made the girl blush. Blush so much she covered her face
"Oh... you..." she didnt really say anything coherent as she didnt expect to be struck by any feels
But once she calmed down, she nodded and agreed to help him find a shirt. Eventually the two settled on one, Hideki bought the clothes and then later changed into those said clothes. Once he asked if he fit in better, she just smiled, nodded and gave him a thumb up. She still was blushing a bit.
And with that, Miku happily held his hand so they could explore more together. Although she had to ask "Are you hungry or thirsty? We could get something"
Maybe he worked up an apetite after looking through all those clothes. But if he wasnt, then where to go?

The fact that Miku was still blushing brought a bit of extra color to the boy's face as she would give his outfit a bit thumbs up. He didn't feel particularly fancy, but at the same time he did think it suited his frame quite well... odd as everything normally to be form fitted. It brought up a few questions, but none that he bothered to ask miku since he highly doubted she would know anything about it.
His thoughts got cut short though as Miku suggested, or rather asked, about food and drink once more. It was a big enough hint that she was hungry herself, so he was just going to have to suck it up... at least now he felt like he could blend in that he wouldn't be singled out as that one rich guy. Alright...
"I could eat if you're hungry, sure. I will have to ask for your help once more however, I really don't know what would be considered good in a place like this."
He explained, nodding lightly as he would then gently reach out for her hand. Without warning he would take it into his again as if they had been doing it forever, guiding her back towards the food court he had spotted on their way there. While it looked much more simplistic, a food court was still a food court and easily identified.

Hideki thought that she was hungry, while in actuality she just wanted to see if he was ok. But she decided 'fuck it'. She learned he doesnt deal with plenty of people that well, what if he wanted to avoid a crowd? And if thats the case would he really be crazy enough to starve himself just to avoid humans? Well... Miku doesnt know that. But still, just in case she went along with it and played it off as if she needed something. Maybe this would force him to try and interact with commoners or whatever. She just hoped he'd survive whatever culture shock he has
Anywho, they soon made their way up to the food court. Miku then spoke "Actually, I'm more thirsty rather then erm... hungry. So if you want anything to eat."
Well, that is true. Kind of like how Hideki needs the cold to stay cool, Miku needed water or any liquid to hydrate, because plants need water. Besides, this wasnt about her, this was about Hideki. She wanted him to experience new things and learn how the average people live and not just the 1%.... Sorry, the 0.1% to be more precise.
Miku looked at Hideki to see how he was doing.

Busted! So much for Hideki being cool and suave, Miku pointed out that she was simply thirsty, and that proved that Hideki was actually the hungry one in the end. He was totally apprehensive and would still need her guidance... but for now would just smile and nod towards her clarification.
"Alright I guess you caught me~ Alright let's see... I know about MgRonalds at least... the CEO is on the bottom tier of our inner circle... Should we try that or are these other places better?"
He asked as he found himself leading the way into the food court seeing as Miku really did suck at taking charge. He would have to explore this place through trial and error it seemed...
He would wait for Mikus input on where she wanted to get her drink from and then led the way there. He started looking at their food menu as Miku got her drink and brought a hand up to his chin.
"Hmmm you know... why dont you try eating or drinking something with high sugar content? Plants create and eat sugar don't they? I wonder if that wouldn't give you a bit of a power boost?"
He wondered aloud as he then turned back to the menu. It was difficult for him to find a dish that wasnt deep fried or piping hot... but he finally settled on a watermelon pokeball. He had no idea what to expect, but the image was appealing.

Hideki admitted that he was indeed hungry. And he knows that popular fast food place, which was good. It meant he wasnt totally out of touch with the world, but she couldnt resist but giggle when he said that the CEO is on the bottom tier of an inner circle. "Heheheh, not surprising since the food is bottom tier" Miku said as they went to the place She didnt mind he took charge, she was actually super glad, Miku loved seeing Hideki take the initiative and explore. It was better then leading his like a lost pup.
Once they arrived, Hideki suggested she eats something with high sugar content, because plants create and eat sugar. When she heard that it felt like she had a mindblow and enlightement. Complete and utter enlightement. This was something she didnt think of but it most certainly explains her eating habbit
"Of course!! So thats why I love sweets. It must be! If plants eat sugar, that must be why I love it, and cant stand veggies." Miku spoke as if she just had this relevation. It always felt as if eating veggies was like cannibalism to her. And wow, this was just incredible, it never crossed her mind

Hideki couldn’t help but smile as she called the food itself bottom tier. There was something about the way she said it that just… enticed him. Like maybe the tiniest part of his snobbishness had just rubbed off on her in that moment. He didn’t say anything of course, but he did make a pleasant note about it.
When he guided her to this weirdly named restaurant and he ordered himself a poke bowl, he would look at the menu for what they had that might be sweet. Unfortunately, meals like these weren’t often all that sweet… so he thought about bringing her to that coffee shop by the corner after. They had all kinds of sugary treats he was sure she would love.
It was as he got his bowl that Miku made her great declaration of sugar, and it caused Hideki to laugh as he brought his hand up to her head, ruffling her hair up a bit like she was the cutest thing he’d ever seen.
“You are honestly adorable, you know that?”
He asked her still smiling, moving then to grab his bowl and lead them towards one of the tables once she’d gotten herself something to eat as well. He’s perch himself down across from her, this way he could focus on her instead of the masses of people around them.
“So, where do you think we should go once we finish eating? Are there only clothing stores here? I think I saw some kind of jewelry store on the way here but I wasn’t really paying that much attention.”
He admitted as he began to taste the food in front of him.
‘This is pretty bland… but at least it’s edible…’
He thought to himself, silently judging the meal in front of him.

Miku blushed and covered her face when she got called adorable. "Im not adorable" she said. But she couldnt help but make that exclamation as to her it was a real realization. After that little interaction, he asked where would they go once they finish eating. Miku calmed down and thought for a moment, before saying "Well, malls have various stores, not just clothes and food. So yeah, it has jewelry shops" Miku didnt mind if he did not pay attention to all the various places the place had. Like, who does? Am I rite?
She couldnt help, but look at him every now and then as they ate. She wondered what he thought. Was she messing this up terribly? Hopefully not. But still, even so.... even if she was doing well. She could do much better, she was sure of it. But sadly she wasnt the leader type, she just wasnt good at doing that sort of stuff. She was a follower. If only she was smart enough to take charge. Maybe she has to try, otherwise Hideki wont like her. It was a miracle he liked her in the first place

He continued, showing a bit more of his true self with his words. If there was one thing he was good at, it was flattering people. Normally every flattery out of his mouth was fake, a way to get others of similar social status comfortable so he could get what he wanted. With Miku though, he meant it. He was finding himself more and more infatuated with her and really couldn't understand why himself.
He'd already ruled out the fact that she was Thundershock's daughter as being the source, he was already working on a plan regarding that... no Miku was just so... genuine, in everything that she did. he couldn't help but admire and love that about her. He'd just continue smiling as he ate the last of his food as she gave a very brief description of what other shops were around this mall. He'd think about it for just a moment, bringing his tray back to where it belonged before taking miku's hand in his and heading out of the food court.
"That sounds boring, let me see if I can't liven things a little here~"
he stated with that same bright smile as he walked with her, hand in hand, down the path of the mall. He's soon find a kiosk in one of the center aisles selling crepes. That he knew enough about and went right up to the kiosk, ordering them both a fruity, sweep crepe and walking back to her side.
"Here, this should bring your energy levels back up~"
He said kindly as he handed it to her. The two would then continue their walk throughout the mall, stopping at this or that shop, even peering inside a video game shop which did pique Hideki's interest considering his line of business. They were out and about for roughly an hour before Hideki finally took Miku to that Jeweler shop that he had seen earlier. There was nothing overly elegant, and they all seemed to focus on rings more than anything else... but there was one display case that had a few different crystal ornaments. one that especially caught his attention was a crystal vase with 3 blue crystal flowers on the inside. Compared to what he could normally get her it was nothing, even the price tag on it was a joke (to him). However, it would serve as something to remind her of their first real date. He smiled as he pointed it out to the clerk while Miku was distracted with something else, asking to have it immediately wrapped up so that she wouldn't see it.
"So, looks like handling a commoner mall isn't as difficult as I thought it would be, however I'm sure that's only because I had you at my side the entire time."
Hideki chuckled softly as he pulled out his card to pay for the crystal trinket. He would hold onto the box as the two walked out of the shop, not giving it to her just yet.
"Thank you for bringing me. It was an interesting experience."

She blushed when Hideki flattered her and was left speechless. Seriously what did he see in her, she couldnt understand for the life of her. The two held hands and went onward, he got her to a kiosk and got her a crepes.
"Thank you~" Miku kindly thanked him and took the crepes, and then slowly ate.
He was so nice, she had a hard time believing this was one of Thunders henchmen who brought her some druggy plants. He was just so nice and sweet and caring. Although, Miku's Thunder theories had to wait as they arrived to the jewerly store. Hideki went to talk to a man, meanwhile Miku noticed a bunch of ruby jewerly
"Woooow, Ruby is very pretty. Shame the red doesnt match me. Im more of a peridot or emerald or malachite kinda girl. Mostly green" Miku thought to herself. She didnt know that as she thought about jewerly that Hideki already had a new gift planned for her.
Once their hangout was done, Hideki thanked Miku for today
"Oh thank you for this wonderful time" Miku thanked him back, but then he said he couldnt do this without her "I doubt it. Im sure you could've done this even without me. I was just the initial push, the motivation" Miku said
She did notice he had something, but decided not to ask about it
