Hideki had started to see Miku more and more often since his little invasion of U.A highschool to find her. He made more time to follow up with her and chase her, even when it seemed Miku had other things to do. He respected her enough to give her some space, but at the same time he both had a job to do, and did become genuinely interested in the girl over time.
Sure she was a commoner, but the things that she taught him made him realize there was so much about the world he still didn't know. More he had to learn. all that combined with how damn adorable the girl was, made it hard for him to resist the girls charms. With that said, Hideki had sent Miku a text the previous day, letting her know that he would come to pick her up today and the two would go anywhere she wanted to go. It was great to show her his world, but he kind of wanted to see hers as well. Anything to make the boss' daughter, and his love interest happy, right?
"Hey Miku, I'm here"
He spoke to his phone, sending a message off to Miku as he waited for the girl outside the front gate of U.A. It was a friday afternoon, so everyone would be finishing up and getting ready for the weekend. He hoped he wouldn't have to enact his boss' plan and possibly ruin his date with Miku... the last thing he wanted was to bring her there of all places. How was she okay with finding out he was her father... and how was she going along with this...

If there was one thing Miku hated the most... it was dressing up. Because when a boy like Hideki invites her somewhere, she HAS to look nice. And well Miku? She has a poor fashion sense. Eventually she chose an outfit which she deemed as decent. And right on cue there was a text from Hideki
"Ohmigosh! He's here!" Miku said to well.. herself
She put her phone in her bag and rushed to Hideki, because she didnt wanna be late
She went out and then later she found Hideki there at the gates
"Hi!" Miku happily greeted him as she walked over
Oh right. She cant tell him to lead the way. It was her turn to do it, right? Well... theres no rush in doing that. First she asked "How are you?" because well, thats always nice to ask. She was just glad she was more calm around him and not so nervous as she was before. She got used to the fact that someone rich like Hideki wanted to be with her. Sure she was still in disbelief, but now she had an easier time accepting that. And well.. now she really should think of where will they go

Unlike Miku, Hideki had to force himself to dress down. Not that he made himself look bad, but he wasn't wearing a suit, he wasn't wearing any kind of uniform at all! A simple pair of black slacks, and a loose fitting white dress shirt. He had to wear something that still made him feel comfortable, but not draw attention to himself. Underneath his shirt, the familiar cooling bracers around his biceps were equipped, keeping his body cool at all times.
Whenever Miku did finally arrive however, a smile appeared on his face as he removed his hands from his pockets, extending one to take her hand and bring it up to his lips gently in a form of greeting.
"Miku, you look radiant as always. I am doing well, thank you. How are you?"
He asked in return, genuinely wanting to know if she was alright. Hideki had always thought that his position in all of this sucked, he hated taking orders from Thundershock, hated that his family was under his thumb, and now..? Now hated that he was his daughters spy. Of course he did as he was told, but he limited the amount of information he sent back to him. He simply settled for keeping Miku happy, as it also kept him happy.
"Have you thought of anywhere you wanted to go today?"
He then asked to see if she had a sense of what she wanted to do. If not, Hideki of course could organize a fun outing, but it would once more be outside of Miku's element.

Once she arrived, Hideki simply smiled and extended his hand to take hers and then kiss it like a gentleman. Miku blushed a bit. Hideki complimented her appearance and asked how she was
"I'm alright" she said tying not to blush, but she couldnt help it. He was just so...
Actually wait, hold that thought, he also asked her where to go. Think Miku think!
"The mall" Miku said, but mentally berated herself at a stupid choice
"We could go to the mall and shop or just hang out!"
She held his hand and took the lead to show him the right direction to the mall. She would notice his temperature again. And well, previously she didnt ask, but she was just so curious. Plus it was a nice conversation starter as they walked "Say, I never asked you actually. But what's your Quirk?" she asked His hands are cold, which is nice for this time of summer and its heat, but she just couldnt figure it out. Plenty of temperature altering quirks are around. Hell... Akio manipulated temperature of things. "I hope this isnt a type" Miku thought to herself hoping that some temperature changing guys are her type |

"The mall? Oh yes I've heard of a few smaller businesses owning those but I can't say I've ever been to one myself."
Hideki admitted with a bit of an awkward smile. He wasn't quite sure if he should be embarrassed by the fact that he had never been or not since for him, this wasn't somewhere someone of his status went. Still, it would be interesting to visit, though he wasn't fond of how many commoners he would be surrounded by... but this was for Miku, and this was what she had chosen.
"You'll have to show me what makes the mall so enticing to visit."
He added, a smile widening on his face as Miku's hand remained in his as she led the way towards the wall. Hideki followed in time with her, not once making an attempt to remove his hand from her own. Though he did have to try and manipulate the cold of his quirk so he didn't give her frostbite. Speaking of quirk, it looked like Miku finally became curious about what his quirk was. He brought his free hand in front of them, and with a small gust of wind, a small flurry of snow would whisk up around them as if the two had been caught in a snow globe. Just as quickly though, the snow melted, leaving no evidence behind that the civilian had used his quirk at all.
"To put it simply... snow. My body stays cold because I'm basically made of it to a degree."
He explained as he put his free hand back down, and the hand that was holding Miku warmed up just a tad as he had focused using his quirk on the other.
"I hope that isn't too much of a problem, considering your quirk. I admit I'm struggling when it comes to keeping my temperature down. "
Hideki also admitted as he offered a bit of an awkward smile.

Miku blinked a bit confused. He was never in a mall? Then where does he buy stuff from "Oh? Where do you buy clothes or other stuff then?" she asked, though by her guesses the answer was at some super high expensive VIP boutique. Hideki then said she'd have to show him what makes the mall so enticing. Miku smiled and nodded "Sure. I'll do my best"
Soon as they went there, Miku finally had to break the ice and ask about his Quirk. And well by the answer, she felt she needed to facepalm when she heard the Quirk. Why didnt she guess them by her herself. No wonder things were chilly. Though it is a bit of a bummer because it kinda meant she cant snuggle with him to keep warm.
Then he said that he struggles keeping his temperature down "O-oh. You do? Wait does that mean I should let you go. I mean I dont want you to struggle using your Quirk" Miku said, ready to let his hand go if it will make it easier for him. She didnt want him to struggle with temperature stuff, when she could just let him go and make things easy for him

"Our clothes are usually tailored by the service staff. I've never owned anything less than formal attire, uniforms and sleepwear to be honest. I haven't bothered venturing out in terms of fashion simply because I get to experience the more fantastic outfits through the games we create."
He admitted to her honestly as he thought back to the clothes he wore growing up. He really was pretty boring in that sense... his parents always wanted both him and his brother dressed properly, and they were usually doing something formal that required it. Even when he was working on and testing games, his current outfit was as casual as he got. Though when he was home, he was prompt at taking off most his clothing to let his body properly cool down.
The mall would prove to be an interesting experience, and it seemed like such a common place to visit among commoners judging by both Mikus expression and those that would be gathered there.
Whenever Hideki answered with regards to his quirk, he felt the relaxation of Mikus hand in his as she offered to let him go in case she was too warm for him. He responded by gently tightening the grip around her hand, and moving his fingers to intertwine with hers. He would offer her a reassuring smile as he gave a light shake of his head.
"Something like this won't affect my temperature enough to harm me. Physical contact with another person produces no more heat than the shirt on my back. I'm enjoying this, I hope I'm not bothering you with how cold I am?"
He was chilly, so it would feel to Miku like she was holding an ice cube wrapped in a thick cloth. Cold but not biting. Even the air around Hideki would just feel like a comfortable gust. Cooler than normal, but not obnoxiously so.

Hideki explained that his clothes are like specially tailored for him, he only owned formal attire, uniforms or sleepwear. Nothing normal or casual, only special stuff.
Miku asked wanted to ask if he ever wanted to try normal clothes, but she felt that question answered itself, since he was coming to the mall.
Their subject changed to Quirk talk. Once Miku heard his Quirk, Miku offered to let go of his hand, but he just gently tightened the grip and intertwined his fingers with hers, which made her blush just a lil. Hideki gave her a reassuring smile and a light shake of his head. He finally spoke then saying this doesnt harm him at all. Plus he is enjoying this, but was she? "O-oh, Right. Ok. Well, no, you're not bothering me at all." she then smiled a bit "Truth be told, sometimes it would feel quite pleasant"Indeed, if Miku knew his Quirk during the hot hot summer, she'd be glued to him at all times. But dang, winter is coming
The hand was quite cold, but not cold enough to cause her any pain. Plus the air was nice too. Still, it felt weird to say that

Thankfully the mall wasn't too far away from the school, Hideki really wasn't a fan of walking long distances, especially not in the heat. this wasn't too bad though, and he particularly liked that Miku hadn't let go of his hand and even let him intertwine their fingers together. His heart started to race a bit, and he cursed it silently, wishing it to be still. Yeah he found himself liking Miku, but he couldn't let himself actually like like her... He needed to get out of Thunders thumb not fall for his daughter. He wanted to groan as they stepped into the mall, but bit his tongue to stay quiet as they stepped inside. Immediately Hideki scrunched up his nose with the sheer amount of people gathered here, but forced that away as well so Miku didn't think he hated it. He was just going to have to get used to commoners at some point right..? He didn't need to interact with them.
"So. Where would you like to go? I haven't the faintest idea where to even start in here, It's a little bit overwhelming to be honest."
He asked her as he looked around himself at the lines of shops that seemed to sell just about anything and everything you could possibly think of. Sale signs posted in the windows made him think that most these businesses were closing down as it cost so little in his mind. What was the attraction of coming here? He supposed that for commoners, these kinds of prices were all they could afford? He really didn't think very hightly of anyone poorer than him.

Miku looked at Hideki to see what was his first reaction. And that was... him scrunching his nose. Miku chuckled because he was funny. Like yeeeaah, its no 6 star hotel with a red carpet made of rubies that he got used to. But he still tried it for her. Miku thought he was sweet.
He then asked her where would she go, bringing up a very good point that he has no idea where to start at.
"Umm... hmmm.... ok. I'm a bit bad at this. So I'll let you decide. Would you wanna go to a book store, gaming store or clothes store or a food store. We have a lot of places to visit. Though Im guessing most people go to place that has food. So if you wanna avoid people, maybe food area is not our best bet?" Miku said
She was kinda real bad at taking charge. Usually she was like the follower, taking lead from others. She was in no way a leader. As she held his hand, she noticed he looked around at the windows and signs and everything.
"Oh? Did something catch your eye?" Miku asked, wondering if he saw something that interested him

"hunh? No, no I was just looking around... are these businesses supposed to be so... cheap?"
He asked curiously, uncertain as to what the heck was going on as they walked by a few stores. He kept his eyes open, looking around himself curiously to see what sort of information he could gather about the shops they were passing... but they made little sense to him and he felt pretty stupid for it. How frustrating... weren't they supposed to know these sorts of things? sure they mostly focused on those of similar social standing but this was like ignoring a large part of Japan... Maybe he did still have much more to learn, especially if he was going to associate himself with them.
"Well, Id like to avoid the larger crowd for now, and I'm not particularly hungry... why don't you take me to whatever shop you enjoy best and I'll treat you? Perhaps a clothing store? You seemed pretty surprised by my own clothing options, so why not start there?"
He suggested with a brief smile towards her. He was lying about the hungry part, but honestly he really didn't want to be in a crowd of commoners... he couldn't imagine what their filthy body heat alone would do to aggravate his quirk...

Miku nodded. "Well yes. The not rich people need to afford stuff too. But the attraction is the price. You dont have to be poor to buy cheap. You can be rich and buy cheap too. You can just save up more money that way. I mean, just because its cheap doesnt mean its bad. I mean, people only buy clothes with brands just so they can have bragging rights about how rich they are. If you buy stuff you like, then you wouldnt care about brands and prices" Miku said, as yes she didnt care about expensive brand stuff when it came to clothes.
Hideki then said that they should avoid the large crowd and that he wasnt all that hungry. Miku kind of doubted him, but just went along with him and oblidged his wishes. She didnt want him to faint from culture shock, and then give him mouth to mouth or something. He suggested clothing. Miku nodded and lead the way "I know a few shops, granted I dont know much about boy clothes, so you'll just have to find what you like. And Im sure you'll find something..." Miku spoke "I hope" Miku thought Soon they arrived to one shop |

"You can buy cheap, but it's usually pretty frowned upon. In high society it's seen as economic weakness to buy anything that could be considered off brand."
Hideki admitted as he walked alongside her, missing the look of doubt on the girls face whenever he said he just wasn't hungry. He just listened to her as he looked around. Things you liked hunh... what kind of things did he like? He didn't really have a hobby... he went to school and he worked, that was about it.
He trusted Miku to guide him on this one, and that she did as she took him towards one of the clothing shops. She claimed not to know much about boys clothes, but he was sure she'd know a lot more than he did anyways. Left up to him he's just pick more dress shirts and dress pants... but whenever they walked into the shop Hideki was greeted with a whole slew of clothing he had never dared to wear. Jeans and hoodies, T shirts, sweatshirts, sweat pants... His nose scrunched up a bit as he looked at the individual pieces, not quite piecing them together into an outfit. He wanted to ask her if she was sure about this, because he was hesitant as hell as he approached a darker pair of jeans then looked at Miku like some kind of lost puppy as he held them out.
"I see commoners wearing these pretty often, what do you think? Maybe you should just pick something..."
He almost begged of her to help him. Even if she didn't have the best knowledge of mens clothes, surely she could find him *something*.

Miku nodded as she listened to him. "Well, there is time and place for everything. So yeah, you can wear rich clothes when with rich people, but you can wear whatever you want when its casual. And sometimes you can combine best of both worlds!" Miku said
When they arrived to a store Hideki just scrunched his nose again which made Miku giggle, he was kinda cute when he was like that. They browsed the place a bit, but then Hideki asked her about some jeans, he was like a lost pup waiting adoption.
"I mean, its nice. But do you like it? We dont have to force buy something. Sometimes just browsing the store is enough, you see what clothes there are on the market, you think what you can use, what do you need, how can you combine it with your current wardrobe." Miku said
She did look for some stuff in the store for him, but she liked better that he discovers something he likes, she didnt wanna impose something she likes onto him. He'll never start liking normal stuff that way if he doesnt discover something. She also stood close to him as she didnt wanna leave him alone

hideki admitted simply, lowering the jeans as Miku back onto the table as Miku hadn't really given him much of a direct answer. Of course he didn't like them, they were jeans for crying out loud, the epitome of cheap and in his opinion ratty material. He did want to make a good impression with Miku though, so he was sure he could find something in this store that he could tolerate...
Looking through the store alongside Miku however, all he could find were the dreaded jeans... multiple styles and designs sure... but jeans none the less. He tried so damn hard not to turn his nose and walk out, but eventually his eyes landed on a dark brown pair of kaki pants located at the back of the store where there was some more 'formal' wear. Cheap formal wear, but formal none the same. He was visibly relieved as he moved towards them and retrieved the pair of pants then turned to Miku with a bit of a smile.
"There, pants I can feel comfortable with. Why don't you chose a shirt for me though? Otherwise I feel we will be in here forever with how I'm going about this. I know I don't need to buy anything but I want to make the effort. You mean a lot to me Miku, and I know I can't just expect you to suddenly live your life the way I do."
He explained as he would then walk around with her until they both settled on a shirt they could agree on. It was still a bit more formal looking, but nothing on the level that hideki normally wore, at least not in terms of quality.
With that done and out of the way, they went to the cash and Hideki paid for his clothes, then vanished into the change room to immediately get changed into his new attire. It wasn't bad, not as tight as his clothes, but not so baggy that he felt like a slob... a good compromise. Good. He smiled, nodding to himself in approval when he looked in the mirror then walked back out, his clothes now in the shopping bag, to meet with Miku.
"So, do I fit in a bit better?"
He asked her with a smile, walking out of the store so that they could continue their exploration. He would of course buy her anything she wanted, so he would keep trying to get her to tell him what she did want.
