Midnight Parenting [G & H]

She patted their little one on his back and made soft shushing sounds as she moved in little circles and moved their little one in a rhythm up and down to calm him down. The problem was every time she managed to get so far, the new thunder hit and it started at the beginning again. She checked his little diaper but there was no need for that yet and she decided that she did not like the sound in his room, maybe they should go downstairs, maybe it was less loud there. She looked at G, and her own face did not look happy either with the loud sounds that seemed to bother them tonight. She swung little Kai up and down in a slow and soft motion, finally decided she tried to hum and sit on the edge of her own bed to be able to sit down and be able to feed Kai. She hummed on while making sure that he would be fine, holding on with one arm, supporting his head on her elbow and holding his little bum with her hand. Kai's little hand held on to her finger and she tried to simply smile at him as his big blue eyes looked at her. At least he seemed to be distracted enough. She turned to look up at G, "Maybe we should put on a bit of music," She looked worried, "He seems to be scared." What should they do? She had no idea, only that she should show her son that she wasn't afraid at all, which was a bit difficult as she kept pulling up her own shoulders the moment the sound started.

But it was just something she did, she continued to turn to Kai and hum to distract her little son, who seemed to look at her with interest while getting his...breakfast... she giggled at his curious blue eyes, "Look at you, full of wonder," She said with a soft sound as she adored him so much.

She was very worried about their little one and that could be easily read on Hanako's face as she had a frown on her face and tried everything to keep him from crying again. She did not mind the sound, the could basically ignore it in a way that the wailing did not annoy her as it had done when someone else their child was crying in the store or so. No she was just worried for his sake, that he was scared made her sad. She had to find a way that they could distract him as she hummed a song for him and went to make sure he would get his food, it made him obviously stop crying and focusing on her, but she also wanted to do more to get him distracted, so she asked G to turn on some music.

She did not notice what he was doing as she could not see and turned her attention back to Kai who looked at her with big blue eyes. She recognized her own eyes, that she had seen a thousand times in the mirror in his eyes and wondered if he looked like her or G later, she could not see much, the little haires he got looked rather dark but only time would tell. She looked up when she heard the music and smiled happily at G, she had not seen or heard him play before but it was wonderful. "Look at what your daddy is doing." She said to the baby and smiled at him, it surely did distract the two of them. Shaking his free little hand while the other still held on to Hanako, Kai's blue eyes tried to see his father and what he was doing. He surely was a curious one, probably like both of his parent

His big blue eyes tried to look for G while continuing to eat or well drink, Hanako laughed softly because of that, distracting her son as he looked at her again before turning his eyes back to the sound that he did not know and that his father made. Hana seemed to enjoy it a lot, "Oof calm down." She laughed as Kai moved his little hands and legs with the sound, turning his eyes back to her when another thunderous sound hit them, "Oh, what's that?" She said, trying to make it as if it was nothing, it was less bad now that it was not in the wave of silence but in the sound of the music. "What was that?" she repeated with a soft sound, cleaning a drop of Kai's cheek and making sure she held him well now that he had let go of her finger.

She smiled and Kai seemed to get over the sound and looked back at his father and wiggled his little arms again and stopped drinking and turned to look at G with a smile, Hana shook her head with the same sort of smile and lifted up her boy, to keep him upright and making sure he was doing okay, and that he did not want to eat anymore. "I think he really likes it." Hanako smiled at G as she made sure that Kai was doing fine, she wanted to make sure that he would not be afraid anymore, that meant they had to wait for the thunder to leave. She frowned as she waited for the sound, as she had paid attention to her son and to the song, she had not noticed if the sound was softer or not. That being said, it really surprised her when it was like the roof would collapse so hard the sound was and she instantly turned to look at Kai, who looked at her with a frown himself and wonder, it looked like he wanted to cry but turned his blue eyes to G, still playing the ukelele, which drifted away his need to cry, and gave Hanako a sigh of relieve.

Hanako laughed softly, to not disturb the sounds and peaceful air that the two of them had created in their bedroom now that their son seemed to be ignoring the loud thunderous noises. She looked at him, shaking his little hands and legs and it was so perfect to see. She held him upright to make sure that he would be okay after eating and looking around curiously, trying to find his father so Hana made sure to sit a little sideways so he could see G. "It's a good way to practice." she said softly as Kai looked at him, before she shut her eyes, trying to hide the look of slight pain, Kai had found a strain of her hair and pulled it softly, not everything was wrapped up properly in the braid.

"Could you help?" She asked not answering his question if he should stop or not, it was a lovely sound that she did not want to stop but she understood very well that you could not keep playing all night. "I think you should bring him to bed in a bit, now that he is no longer moved by the thunder sounds, we should not make a big deal out of it all the time, I think." It was difficult, not being able to ask their parents for advice or anything, basically having to learn all by themselves. But right now she could not let go of him, she would do anything he needed and right now, he had been so staring at his dad, that he needed him, for G to hold him, that is if he let go of her hair.

The moment G would take Kai from her arms was the moment she realized how tired she was again. It was like it returned really fast but she would stay up until Kai would go back to sleep.

So Kai held on to her hair instead of to herself or her shoulder and while he was watching his father, her pulled on her hair as he looked excited and happy, something you couldn't use when the baby needed to sleep, he looked rather wide awake and Hanako couldn't hake her head because it would pull her hair a little more and that did not work well. Because she could not see it well she needed to ask G to help her, make sure that Kai would let go of her hair, as he did G casually lifted up their son and held him while she sat up straight and tugged the piece of hair back into the messy braid. She looked up to the two guys in her life that were all and smiled happily, it was a nice view for sure. She looked at the ukelele that was now next to her on the bed and she remained seated as she let G take Kai to bed.

As it seemed to be taking a while, she was simply impatient, she got up and looked around the corner of the baby room to see what was going on. G looked at her and told her she could go to so sleep and that he would watch over their baby and she shook her head and walked to her fiance. "You know he needs to get used to being alone?" Especially after being together most of their time in the hospital, maybe that's why Kai was mostly used to Hanako, but she doubted it, to be honest, G had been around every day too. "You should come back to bed with me." She said, in a whisper because she wanted Kai to sleep. He would probably wake up another one or two times in the morning so it was better if they tried to catch sleep in between themselves.

She leaned against G with her head against his arm as she looked at her son who was looking back at them with big eyes, wiggling his hands up and down, holding on to one of his little feet and smiling. At least she was glad to see that he was a happy little boy, even though the first struggles of his life, she would do everything to protect him, everything to make sure he felt safe and loved. But she would also try and do what was best for the boy which was leaving him alone, else he would never sleep for the night anymore. She walked away from him to the door, begging G to come with her for now and she would look once more at Kai and switched off the lights. She had on purpose not leaned over him or kissed him in his little crib, daddy had brought him to bed, it was not up to her to mingle with that anymore even though it tugged on her heart and she really wanted to. She let G take her with him to the bed, where she climbed back upon and rolled immediately to him, thank god for airconditioning their room, she would not be up for being sweaty and sticky all over her body cuz of the temperature swings.

She watched him close his eyes in the weird light within the dark before she nuzzled back in his arms, kicking the blankets away from over her and simply trying to sleep, but instead her eyes were open, she was thinking about too many things still, not per se negative, but so many things were wondering in her head, she was almost done with her writing and she was just... well busy. As her face was turned away from G, he would not be able to see her eyes open immediately so it would take a bit, about ten minutes longer before Hanako turned and met his eyes, it was again difficult to see in the dark and yet so easy, "Is it?" as he said it was awkward because she did not see why, or maybe he was joking. "I think you are rather attractive." She stuck out her tongue a little to hopefully get rid of a potential awkward feeling, she wanted everything to be fine, but technically she wondered albeit very shortly if she would ever let go of what she had created.

She could not help but laugh as he said that she did not want him to think that he was creepily staring at you, "Honey, you are not a creep, you are my fiance, I want you to look at me." She said with another giggle, she wanted to mesmerize him the whole time, she wanted him to still think that she was pretty, just like that day at the park, with the picnic where she was wearing a stupid outfit that she would not wear outside and yet he called her perfect, that's what she wanted. She liked how he was embarrassed and perhaps even shy that she had busted him in looking at her. She told him that's why she found him attractive, he looked so cute when he was embarrassed but that made him cute and now she had to tell him that which made him blush and she giggled when he kissed her on her nose and that made her stick out her tongue. She nuzzled in her arms and laughed, "Me? Right now I feel like every part of my body is stretched out." She laughed as she kissed him on his collar bone. But she accepted it nonetheless. Carry it like a queen.

She stopped kissing his skin softly and looked up, "Oh I thought about a lot of things, the book I finished, the new one I am working on, I think I am losing my head but I am not sure if I mind, I can't wait to see how Tokyo likes it, I don't want to go back, baby, but I do not want to stop my job, I decided maybe to make it like a freelancer site, keep it as a blog only and sell the Lady Scandal if I bumped into something you know. I don't want to be somewhere but home, I want to just not be jobless, I just don't know what to do."
