feel the light shining in the dark of the night | Toma was in full Hero regalia this fine evening. It was a shame he was covered head to toe in thick leather and equipment, it was warm and he would have loved to be wearing something lighter. That was the curse of having a hero suit like his, to blend into dark areas and avoid easy ripping he needed dark leather. He slammed shut a locker inside the Kabukicho Police Department with one foot as he fitted his helmet snuggly on his head. He the chin buckle before inspecting his repulsor gear. The gauntlets were all in good shape and everything seemed to be combat-ready so he stepped out of the locker room and went to wait in the bullpen. As he sat down in one of the chairs, watching officers go back and forth, he thought about how things would go this evening. It was the first, and maybe only, day that his interns would be out on patrol with him. He wanted everything to go swimmingly in so many ways. He both hoped there was a little action, maybe some muggers or a hapless thief, but didn't want to put the kids at risk. There was no telling what would happen though. Kabukicho could be a wild place. He wanted to slip out back to have a smoke real quick, but one of the UA staff would be driving the kids to the police department to meet him.
